I am overjoyed by the outlook of the phenomenal people at Midas in Fairlawn because they handled my extenuating set of screeching circumstances with a genuine care and concern for my well being. From the outstanding customer service by the District Manager Paul who so graciously exhibited a wholehearted compassionate nature by taking the time to enlighten me about all my financial options, to my personal dealings with the General Manager Brandon B., who was majorly patient with every single customer, genuinely mastering a multitasking with an efficiency of perfect timing for getting me on my merry way in a working time frame all its own. Along with sincere thanks going to their unwaverable ASE certified mechanic, who virtually restored the undercarriage of my Honda Accord to a pristine condition, which was over the top exceptional for a professional person like Mr. C, to potentially fix my rattle mobile and subsequently spell out how to repair a bad rear caliper in no time flat.Praise our God of the Universe for all the talented people working at Midas in Fairlawn, because I have been waiting to help other people comprehensively understand why a spiritual connection is so pertinent for decision making, specifically when looking to potentially spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on unknown damages from an unimaginable situation, which will wholeheartedly turn into a mutually beneficial outcome from all avenues leading to the long overdue restoration of my faithful four wheeled friend, who just got the rear brake special of a lifetime warranty!!!!
Kyle Posey was very helpful when I contacted him after a bad experience at a competitor’s shop. He corrected all the issues I had with my brakes(including some I had caused myself). All the work was done within the estimated cost. I will be returning in the future. Well done, Midas!

Definitely recommend to anyone, the technician who helped me answered all my questions, tightened the lower-ball joint and inspected the other suspension parts for safety, installed 2 front tires, and alignment. He even explained the difference between the cheaper and more expensive parts and why they’re worth it, in the end I definitely learned how to take a better care of my car and how to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

My spare tire popped on me and my mom and brother came to my rescue. We thought we had all the tools to do the job to get my new tire on my car.. well our jack to lift the car was missing a handle. My mom ran over to Midas in fairlawn to see if they had a spare we could use. Not only did they let us barrow a jack but they also sent a mechanic with us to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything else! After we changed the tire the mechanic insisted we come to the shop to get the bolts tightened to insure the tire is secure. All of this free of charge, infact even we tried to tip the mechanic for being so generous and helping us, he refused and told us to “pay it forward” The men that work at Midas in fairlawn are so kind and generous! They really didn’t have to help but that just shows you that there are still good people in this world! Thank you guys so much for all your help, you truly are heroes!

The guys at Midas are absolutely incredible. I went there to get four tires and I had a quoted price. Although they didnt have the specific tires I requested, they gave me something even better and dropped the price quite a bit due to their online system lacking. Both Scotts at that location were super friendly, they did everything in a very timely manner, and I would trust them with my car anytime I have something wrong with it. Ill definitely be going back to them regularly and you should too!
Came in for an inspection, decided not to get the work done here because the price was outrageous by all standards. The next shop I went into to get the work done told me my tire lugs (which Midas was the last to remove and put back on) were DANGEROUSLY LOOSE. Would not recommend.
After driving around to 3 other shops and being turned down for a tire repair (no one else had the time to get me in), I happened on Midas and decided to give it a shot. Not only did they take my car in right away, they were kind professional, and quick. When he came out with the clipboard to tell me my car was done, I went for my wallet and he told me there was “no charge”. I was shocked! I didn’t buy my tires there and the service took more than a couple minutes. Those guys are great and I will definitely be back for any work I need!
I stopped to ask about tire options for my Honda Accord. I must say, I was rather impressed with professionalism and knowledge of the manager; I believe his name is Scott. I’ve been going to Midas off and on for years, but this location has earned my trust.
Scott and his crew helped me out when i had my undercarriage guard hanging down due to the extreme snow here in ohio. I appreciate them all very much and will continue to being my car here for service when i need it! Highly recommend 🥲☺️
I started coming here about a year ago and I haven’t taken my car anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They are never pushy and always tell me which repairs can be pushed backed. I have a variety of work done including oil changes, brakes, rotors, and wheel alignments and I was happy with the service every time.

I was told by Rocco that he was very good at what he does and I could not agree more. It was a very calming and friendly atmosphere and my car was in and out in no time. Webrought our other car in today and I am so pleased as we had put so much money into it prior to going to Midas and I truly wished we would have went with Midas in the beginning. It would have saved us $1000.00 in unneeded repairs. The guys in that location work very well together and it is to refreshing in this day and age to see. My car had issues and could not drive home, this place was recommended by the office staff I was visiting. The crew at Midas found the issue and had it fixed by the next day, at a cost that made sense.
Had oil changed and tires rotated. Only 55.00 for both and full synthetic. Easy to make appointment. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They didnt try and sell me on a bunch of unnecessary fixes. Good service.

I went in for an oil change after having gone to the dealership for service for YEARS. I didnt anticipate excellent customer service, but I was pleasantly surprised! The manager, Rocco, was great to work with. He was professional, kept things simple and easy, he was informative about potential additional work that needed done and the cost of services, and he was straight-forward. He was also helping an older gentleman while I was waiting and was so patient helping this man figure things out with his payment card. The workers seemed to be happy, as during my visit, they were laughing and seemed relaxed. The service was quick, the waiting area and bathroom were clean, and free coffee was available. I admit that, I initially chose Midas because I had a coupon for the oil change, but now, Ill definitely be returning as a regular customer. Overall, I very much highly recommend this location.
Went in for an oil change in October of 2019 and paid for the oil change, windshield wipers, and both a cabin and air filter. I went back for an oil change in August of 2020, and got an oil change. After declining to get new filters and tires I was told “This isn’t a Valvoline, just go there next time”. When I was paying for my oil change he then told me again if I’m just getting an oil change I shouldn’t come there again. This was the manager telling me they didn’t want my business just because I didn’t want their extra services this time. Rocco is very rude and it’s surprising that he is even employed. I understand oil changes aren’t the most profitable, but when the filters aren’t a year old and my wipers are fine I shouldn’t be expected to pay for new ones.

What a horrible service and a waste of time for us today at NTB.We had an appointment for oil change today at 1PM Dec 9th. We were told short on staff when we got to the service station, staff took car anyway and was told it will be bit more than an hour.We waited one and half hours and went back to the store only to find out our car is not even inside service station and staff was not even sorry that he wasted our time on this cold weather day. I understand being short on staff, but since he knew store is short on staff he could have called us to change appointment rather than let us show up and waste our time in this cold weather. It was simply horrible and unacceptable service today,Thanks for wasting our time and I regret that we ever bought tires from NTB. And I don’t think we will ever go back.
Been coming here since Rocco was a manager now Kyle great customer service skills now this time around had some issues with my vehicle .Kyle got right on it gave me a ride home got my vehicle back next so yeah great service. My car would not start. Had it tolled to Midas on Gent road they found out it had a bad starter and replaced it with my suggestion to change the battery, it was all done in a couple of hours, thanks guys, what a great team

Rocco and his staff were amazing! I had a flat tire and went to Midas after going to another vendor in the area who was unable to help. They did not have my tires in stock at Midas, but Rocco went to another branch to pick them up. I was in and out within two hours. I got two new tires and they fixed another that had a nail in it. Have been receiving fliers in the mail for oil changes at this facility. Called and spoke with Rocco and was able to get in on a recent Saturday. Was their first customer so they were able to get me in right away. Rocco was very cordial from the beginning. Offered a free alignment check, which turned into addition necessary work. However, the pricing was very reasonable.Enjoyed my experience and will definitely return!
Tim was wonderful and gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable driving my car. He even took a couple of laps around to diagnose every noise and issue that was likely happening. Will absolutely stop here next time I am in the area.
First time customer, and I will definitely be back. Very friendly, straightforward, and informative staff. They diagnosed my bad ignition coil and said theyd have it fixed by closing time a couple of hours later. They ran into a computer issue as they were finishing up and even stayed a little late to keep their promise to have me on the road same day! My first experience was a good one, and based on it I certainly recommend these guys.
The help was great, Rocco explained the problem and the fix needed for my muffler system in detail. The service here was excellent right on and a quick fix. Great job, I will be back for other service repairs!

I came here a number of weeks ago for an oil change that I saw advertised on their sign as 19.99, I did a walk-in and expected it to be 30 minutes since there was one person ahead of me. That was not the case. At the time of the service they had a complimentary tire rotation with the purchase of the oil change. I asked for my tires to not be rotated as I had them done a month earlier (so why did it take so long for a simple oil change?) I was seated in the waiting room for over an hour and a half. When they finally came out, they asked me if I wanted a new air filter and other additional things they found wrong with my car. I said no as I was late to work and did not have the extra time to spare. I was then cashed out where they tried to charge me for the cost of a new air filter. I noticed the mistake and asked for it to be fixed. The total came to $32. A fee of 20 for the oil change, 7 for the new parts, and a 5 dollar service fee. I then did not have enough money as I only brought 25 for their “19.99 oil change.” My question is, what part of 19.99 is 32.00 dollars???
My experience at Midas was great- they were able to fix multiple issues on my car and give me an oil change at a great price. They had me in and out and saw me right away. Rocco the manager was great to work with. Definitely recommend them for anyone living near the Fairlawn area.

My car has slight noise when applying break so I took it to get checked. They recommended to change rear Break Pad and Router also some other service that was required, so I got all those done for $368. From Next day I stared setting burning smell and smoke started coming from rear break. I took it back to get checked again and they now say that the rear caliper needs to be changed which will cost me another $365. I am not a machinic but I feel that they didnt diagnosed the problem correctly at first place and just changed things based on assumption and because of there incompetent I had to suffer. Very bad experience, try staying away.

I got my wheels re-aligned on my older truck and they were able to get it done within 1hr 30mins. Tim, the manager, is very helpful. 90 warranty on the alignment so I can go back if needed and get it re-done.

Went to the store about a month ago with a flat tire. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They determined that the tire was not fixable and must be replaced. Joe, the store manager, was very helpful in helping me find a new tire. Would definitely recommend to go here for any car maintenance or repairs. Quality service.
About 2 months I had a bad wheel bearing. My wheel was basically about to fall off. I rolled in to Midas around 6PM. I knew that they closed at 7 and didnt know how long it would take to replace a wheel bearing. I asked if it could be done that night. Without hesitation I was told yes. It took a little over 2 hours to replace (over an hour after they closed). I wasnt sure how I would get to work the next morning so I really appreciated that they did it for me. I didnt realize how long it would take. I felt bad that they were there LONG after closing. After the mechanic took my car for a test drive, he greeted me with a smile. And, after thanking him for staying late (I dont remember his exact words), he responded with something sincere like no problem.. It was honestly a great experience. I left there completely relieved and with a smile.
April 2019. Price was right! I needed a resonator assembly for my 1997 Avalon. The price after the $35 coupon was $100 less than M Muffler. Plus they got parts the same day I told them I was coming in. The only problem is that they didnt do a transmission flush because it unexpectedly needed a seal and pan. I think they should have called me to get authorization for the extra part. At least I can use the other $10 coupon when I go back. They only allow you to use one coupon per visit.August 2019. I was given wrong transmission flush advice from someone else on staff. When I went back, a different person explained that it should just be a drain and fill, what the unrelated oil leak really was, and why it didnt really need to be fixed. He was calm while I was initially upset. Thanks. Id still like to know 1. why the service I asked for wasnt done in the first place when I was told I needed a replacement pan and that would be included in the quoted price (maybe they had to order the part), 2. if the person was educated and corrected, and 3. why the recommendation wasnt in their computer. I could have ruined my transmission had they done what I initially asked for.

Very disappointed with visit. First of all make sure you arrive an hour before closing or they won’t take you; even when employees are standing around and no cars are being worked on. Had to return today. I had won a free oil change at a fundraiser. The employee at the desk gave me the third degree on where I won it and told me it doesn’t look right and many people take the stamp and stamp up the card and try to “steal” an oil change. I would have walked out right then and there but my car was already up on the lift. The actual mechanic was very nice. He actual came in and showed me a few things. Then the desk employee came back and said he needed to charge me more for the oil which I said was not ok. He then went outside and was literally fighting with the mechanic. Very uncomfortable. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. A shame because my previous visit was great. Just goes to show one bad employee can ruin it.
Every time I go here the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! Dave is SUPER nice and personable! I dont usually enjoy taking my car in for services, but this place is an exception because their customer service is always awesome. Their mechanics are clearly well-trained and knowledgeable, and they always get the job done quickly and efficiently. They have done an excellent job with all my maintenance and repairs.

This is my second time coming to this particular Midas for service and both times the staff was delightful. On my first visit, Joe the store a manger and Paul the district manager were present. Joe showed me what was going on with my car, including parts that were operating as they should and parts that had completely gone bad since my last visit to the dealership. They helped me to understand my factory maintenance schedule and made sure that I wasn’t stranded at the shop all day, during my birthday weekend.I called yesterday, as I had been hearing a noise and they fit me right in. When I arrived this morning, Joe was waiting at the counter. He remembered my name and the service he had done on my car. He made me feel comfortable with my decision to comeback for an additional inspection.The store is clean and warm, which is much appreciated on this cold March morning. Midas has been servicing my car since I learned how to drive and I’ve always been treated with respect and kindness. Keep up the good work guys.

Dwayne and the Midas team are great and and very easy to work with! Do not be afraid to have your wife, girlfriend etc.... go in because they will not be taken advantage of. They tell you exactly what can be done and what might be able to be put off too. I just had a alternator issue and not only did they get in and repair it quickly, they allowed my car to sit overnight and even let my car sit on their charger to charge my battery at no additional cost. I definitely would recommend them for all your automotive needs.

After a bad experience at the Midas on Kent Rd. I said I would not go back to this establishment, however I decided to give it one more chance and went to the Ghent Rd location. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff was! There was a young black gentleman that I dealt with, I believe his name was Chad, he is an absolute gem, he made me feel very comfortable in the decisions I needed to make regarding repair. I will definitely come back to this location!

I didnt know what was going on with my vehicle and not only the manager, but the tech was very understanding and helped explain to me what was going on and what was needed. We dropped our car off the night before the repair. They always pull your vehicle inside the shop so it is safe and not sitting outside all night. We had just scheduled an oil change. Dave and the staff found a few minor items that needed attention. We repaired the items and no pushy sales to run the bill up like other shops. Very happy with the service and honesty!
Its always scary taking my car somewhere new, this time I was pleasantly surprised. I had a brake emergency, they worked around my schedule, didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didnt need, and explained in detail why they were doing the work that absolutely needed done. The guys were professional, personable, and dealt with me in a bad mood quite well. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, 10/10.

This place is wonderful. Always honest and fast. Comfortable, clean waiting room with good coffee. The guys are always so thorough with their inspections and honest about pricing and repairs. I have had several horribly experiences with being price gouged and lied to because I am a woman who knows little about cars. Its hard to find honest and respectable people who will be upfront with you about costs and repairs but these are the people!! They have done routine oil changes for me all the way to extensive issues. I would not trust anyone else in this area with my car. Awesome group of mechanics!!

I give this store a 5 star rating because of how pleased i was with the service that they provided today. from the time i pulled in with someone by the door holding it open and waiting to greet me, to offering me beverages while i waited for the service on my car to be completed, and for the friendliness and professionalism this staff showed today i would highly recommend this store to everyone. They gave me an estimated time frame and they finished within that time frame. Also this is one of the cleanest shops that I have been to from the waiting area and to the bathroom. And when it comes to the service that was done on my car i left there and felt like I was driving a brand new car. Two thumbs up to this shop for their quality of work!
Wife’s car needed brakes bad while I was out of town. Called manager seemed friendly, wife took in no upsale nice people and brakes stop car for a great price. Thankful they didn’t try to over sell my wife.
I try to find the best in people and for the most part, people are great. Lately I have forgotten how unjust people can be in their actions because I havent had to deal with a salesman in awhile. I took my vehicle to Midas knowing there was an O2 sensor messed up on my car. How did I know this? Valvoline told me for free. I also knew the heat wasnt working, and it had a hard time starting so I thought maybe the battery was old, the connector was bad, or possibly the alternator was going. Midas offered to do a quick free inspection to tell me what was wrong with my car. They told me what errors were being thrown which was a catalytic error in addition to my other errors that I already knew about. They said to find out more, they would have to do a full diag which cost $80. I wish I would have listened to my gut which said, NO DONT DO IT! ITS A SCAM! They came back with the same exact information and told me they couldnt dig any deeper because my cars computer system wouldnt allow them to go any further until they fixed all of those initial errors. The bill to do that was $2,200. Was I going to put that kind of money into a 2006 Nissan Armada? Heck no! I may not know much about cars, but I am also not an idiot. I can figure something else out. I went back thinking I could simply pick up my car. Unfortunately that wasnt the case because I had to pay the $80 diag fee even though they werent remotely finished with the diag. They found the same exact info that I had when I originally dropped my car off. This is just terrible customer service.Oh actually they did tell me one new thing which was that I needed a new battery, WHICH WAS A LIE! I took my car over to Auto Zone after unwillingly paying for a ridiculous fee and being threatened to be charged a high fee in the process of questioning his reasoning. I had a battery on hold since that is what I thought I needed to make sure my car started in the morning. Even paying the $80, it was still cheaper to just getting a battery replaced at Auto Zone than for me to get just my battery replaced at Midas. It was going to be cheaper even if they waved the diag fee which was not a guarantee. Ridiculous! The best part is, I walk into Auto Zone telling those awesome guys that I needed the new battery installed which they do for FREE. He immediately questioned the battery replacement after looking over Midass results and tested it themselves. When they tested it with the connectors on, it showed that the battery was bad but when he took the connectors off, it didnt even read low. The guy at Auto Zone cleaned up my connector and all was well. And that service, which was far more than what Midas did, WAS FREE!!!! Thats customer service. I was going to buy a new battery for $140 and the guy working there talked me out of it and even pointed me to a mechanic that was worth a lick. I am very disappointed in my service at Midas. I just hope that this warning can be heard by others before making the same mistake I did. Good luck with your car trouble and I am sorry if you have been scammed in a similar way.UPDATE: Several months later, it turns out the only real issue is an o2 sensor and a tire pressure sensor. Got the o2 replaced and sold it for $3400 several months later, which is on the high end of what this car is worth in great condition. Its sad that people can be so corrupt that a $200 fix was quoted over $2000. Never go to Midas!

The service and friendliness of the guys here is unmatchable. I called ahead and spoke with Dave and he fit me in right away, in fact they even had someone at the door ready to take my keys as soon as I walked in! Now thats what I call service!
