I was initially satisfied with the pedicure, but won’t pay for a design again. They charged a superb price of $10 for the design but didn’t do superb work. Basically, they didn’t wait for the toenail to dry and put the top coat on which made the purple bleed into the white lines. I regularly get designs and have not had this happen before. Don’t pay up for designs at this place!

I went here for the first time today and got a gel acrylic fill. it was only $35. i scheduled online, but had to wait about 15 minutes. i don’t think they actually follow their online scheduling so be aware that you’ll be treated like a walk-in regardless of booking an appointment.but if all you care about is the nails, i would definitely go back. i don’t know the name of the lady that did my nails but she was incredible and so sweet. she knicked my cuticles once but it almost always happens for me when getting them done. my nails look lovely and for the price you can’t beat it.

Water was cold, stones not hot, nails not polished well. Polish is not consistent and wax left on toes will result in me repainting my own toe nails. Horrible. If zero stars was an option, that would be my selection.

If i had to give this place a less rating I WOULD. All I asked was for my acrylics to be removed and it was like I was asking for too much. I sat down a lady start drilling my nails off I was fine than she cut them down, then she tried taking them off with a fake nail and cut the inside of my finger i started bleeding a lot and she smiled and acted like nothing happened while i sat there in pain, then she is like pacing around trying to figure out how to take off my nails… as if she doesn’t work in a nail salon????!!!!! And then she comes back with a bowl of acetone, and asked me to put my hand in strictly acetone!!!!!!!! I went to cosmetology school, and I know that acetone is 100% alcohol, if I would of put my hand in i would of burned myself. I am severely disappointed in their lack of education on nails, education on cleanliness, they are extremely unprofessional. You NEVER EVER ask a costumer after cutting them to their hand in alcohol as if I am uneducated. BASIC knowledge!!!! I will never ever go here again and if you read this I highly recommend you take your money somewhere else! Somewhere where the staff actually knows nails and probably has either a certificate in it. Worst nail salon ever.

This was the worst pedicure I have ever had! Water was cold. I have wax residue still all over my legs and feet. My toes don’t even have polish covering my entire nail. I am headed home to put polish on to make it look better. I will not be back

I had an excellent experience at the salon. My manicure was amazing and the staff was catering to my every need! I felt like I was at an all inclusive spa in Mexico! They were also so kind to my son. I highly recommend Allure!!!

I’ve been going here for a couples of years. I feel the quality of service is going down hill. My nails are uneven and polish on my skin. The girl filed my skin more than the nails. I guess it is time to go somewhere else to get my nails done.

I try to be understanding as a cosmetologist but unfortunately every single time Ive been to this establishment Ive had to wait, and Im the type to schedule an appointment every time. My appointment was scheduled for 3:15 and I was told it would be a 40 minute wait until I was able to be seen with my requested nail technician, not only did I have to wait, I was not greeted when I walked in the door I stood there for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. The lack of professionalism is astounding I will not be back to this establishment for any reason please do not waste your time.

I went here to get my nails done with dip powder a week and a half ago and my nails already look like junk. Dip powder is tough. The salon I used to go to did 5 coats of dip powder. They only did 2. When I was there getting my old dip powder off the lady was shaping my nail. My nails are always hard and when she was done, I could bend my nails. Even after getting acrylics off I still had really strong nails. I will not return at all.

My experience was so calm and relaxing. My nails are so clean and pretty. The technician that did my nails her personality was so breathtaking.This is my favorite nail salon and also this is my second visit and both times with 2 different people my nails were nice.

I booked with them for a wedding party 3 months in advanced. I followed up with them 2 weeks prior to the wedding. They told me they had 2 hours blocked off for my wedding party and the entire one side of the salon would be set up with tables for food and drinks for us. When we arrived nothing was set up and they were not staffed for my wedding party. We had a significant wait time and members of the party left without getting their nails done. Within 3 days members that were able to get their nails done had nails chipping. Very disappointed in the service that was provided.

I received a Brazilian wax and the process was rushed and hair left everywhere. I paid for nothing. I called after to speak to the manager but she didn’t understand were I was coming from and only wanted my review to be taken down. She’s a very nice lady but I’ll be visiting urgent care from all the excess wax left behind in private area. I’ve been balling my eyes for 2 hrs now.(I wish I could provide images but that’ll be too explicit)

Place looks clean, inviting, relaxing! Employees are very friendly! They did a great job on mine and my daughters nails both finger and toes look very pretty and when my daughter is happy you they did a great job!

Christina does a great job on my manicure and pedicure. The shop uses clean sterilized instruments and the atmosphere is nice.

Very poor professionalism. No acknowledgement upon entry. I’m ok with waiting I expected it considering the time of day I arrived. But not one person acknowledged me to let me know how long I would need to wait. Or that I even entered the establishment. Very unprofessional.

I was disappointed in the quality of the work that I paid A LOT of money for--the nail tech did not moisturize my hands or remove my cuticles, let alone clean up the edges of my nails in preparation for the gel polish. All she did was use the little sanding to tool to hurry along the process. If I am going to pay money for shotty workmanship and a sloppy process, then I will pay my 9yo to do it. The nails themselves didnt even stay on for half a week! Incredibly disappointing. I felt like I was a grievance to them. I will not be coming back.

Was just a walk-in at this location, was originally going to go to my normal nail salon but i had some spare time and decided to stop in. They immediately fit me in. The salon looks beautiful, prices are on par with most other places as well. Tiffany did a great job on my nails. (Fill and gel polish) she helped me pick out a great nail color, was patient, professional, and kind. I had a few spaces on my nails that the previous salon had made a mistake on.. Tiffany took the time to repair their mess up at no charge over normal pricing. Highly recommend!

Dont waste your time or money. Long waits even with appointments. Bad quality, my daughter and her friends gel nail polish fell off the NEXT day not even 24 hr wear. They rush through and charge extra.

Went in for a pedicure total time was less than 30 min, I had to ask her to paint the whole toe nail. The massage, basically her rubbing in lotion. Will never return.

I came in today and showed them a picture of what I wanted, I wanted to know the price and see if they were able to do it. They kept making me show everyone the picture and was laughing, was not sure what they were laughing about but I asked for just a gel manicure, as the lady was doing my nails she said my nails were too weak to do just gel and suggested acrylic, I have never done acrylic but I gave it a shot. She did the acrylic powder but never asked me the length I would like them to be, I wasn’t sure what she was doing at first so I was just patient, and did then started to paint my nails so I knew she wasn’t putting the fake nails on and it was just the powder. She did very good on painting my nails but it doesn’t even seem like I got acrylic done because my nails are still the same length, if I knew this was the case then I would have sticked with just the gel polish which would have been $43 rather than $55 for the acrylic.

They are unethical and rude, terrible customer service.I took a shower and the nails come off. I’ll don’t recommend.

I got powder dip nails on my natural nails and had a long wait after booking an appt. when they took me it was rushed and my nails were crooked. The next day three of my nails cracked. I’ve never had an experience like this with powder. Now my natural nails are ruined from the powder breaking off my nails.

Came in for Manicure w Gel. Lady cut off all my natural nails down to nothing ! I asked them to do acrylic nails instead since I had no nails left. They gave me attitude. The man aggressively pulled my hand multiple times when filing. The new set cost $40 and the acrylic is thick at the top and so thin at the bottom several broke in a couple hours. They are crooked and there’s balls of acrylic on the underside of the nails. I’d give them 0 stars if I could. I removed them. Waste of my time and money. The place was hot and so quiet you could hear a pin drop it was very strange vibe there.

Never had a bad experience in over 3 years

I moved here from Lancaster and have gone here a few times for nails and pedicures. The quality is very hit or miss. My biggest complaint is that they never stick to appointments. There are signs everywhere that they require appointments but don’t ask for your name. They take walk-Ins over appointments and the wait time has been long every time I’ve gone.

Purchased a mani pedi the day before Independence Day about an hour before they closed. Not only did they make a point to tell me that they would make time for me, but I got amazing service! Great color suggestions, comfy pedi chairs, and really sanitary!! Used to be a faithful Holiday Nails customer but this place changed my mind!

I’ve gotten my brows waxed here before, and they’ve turned out amazing. Today I went to have my brows waxed and I had a different technician. She asked if I wanted thick or thin, I told her to keep them the same size just clean up the edges. She proceeded to remove half of my eyebrows in width! I am extremely unhappy with my service. Eyebrows are something that is very necessary in shaping the face. I absolutely hate the way I look now. My brows are way too thin, short, and extremely far apart. They look nothing like my normal brows do. They may not look bad in general, but they do look bad on me, and they are not what I asked for.

I must say, I don’t get wowed by much but this salon has definitely wowed me. The salon was very nice, clean and professional. My first time there was 9/21/19 and I will be making this my home salon. Kim was my nail technician and she was absolutely amazing. Her work was impeccable and she was extremely knowledgeable. My nails have never looked so good.

There was a fire at the business next door while I was getting a pedi one day. The staff was completely out of the building before any off the customers. And then after we were cleared to go back in, the person doing my pedi was nowhere to be found. He decided to go shopping at Walmart!

Today I had the pleasure of having my nails done by Jimmy. He was very professional, and welcoming. He paid great attention to the details I requested for my nail design, and executed well! The environment was clean and relaxing. Naturally I am ridiculous when it comes to rhinestones on my nails 💎 Jimmy made it happen and covered two of my fingers completely in rhinestones💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎

Positives are I was taken on time, made an appointment, clean and calm atmosphere. Negative, I’ve been there twice and not the most pleasant experience either time. First was a gel mani and the color was lifting after a week. Second time I must have had an inexperienced tech. Nails are not all shaped the same, uneven dip, ridged edges and 1 1/2 hour appt. Although great work takes time the tech beside me had 3 clients done before I was finished. I will return, hope for the best, willing to go one more time before I call it quits.

My friend and I got our nails done she got a pedicure and fill ins and I got new acrylic and a pedicure. At first glance our nails looked good a day or two later they did not. We both had bruises on our toes and our nails had grown out already mine were crooked and the tech that did them kept getting frustrated (somewhat understandably) because my finger kept twitching something I can not help it happens when I get nervous. I tried communicating variously through out our experience and she was not much for talking she pulled out her headphones and listened to videos on her phone I still tipped her because she did do my nails and I will pay and tip everytime. I got home and my boyfriend who knows nothing about nails could even point out a lot wrong with them. Maybe they were having a bad day. I don’t know. Then they kept getting mad at my friend and I for talking to each other after not seeing one another after 10 years. There was just really bad tension and I didn’t appreciate it. We will not be back anytime soon. This is also my first bad review I’ve ever written. For whatever that’s worth. Hope someone else has a decent experience here. We did not.

Why bother making an appointment. My daughter and I had appointments today for a fill and a gel manicure at 11:30am. We walked in and the place was packed. I asked if we should reschedule for another day, and was told no. They started soaking my daughters nails off, and I was able to be seen in about 15 minutes for my fill. As my nails were being done, my daughter was still just sitting there with her nails soaking. Finally 45 minutes after our appointment, the owner came over and asked if the technician that was doing my nails could do my daughters, because they were behind and did not have enough technicians. My daughters nails were finally started an hour after our appointment. This is a common problem with Allure. You are told it is better to make an appointment, but are rarely seen at your appointment time. This is the last appointment that my daughter and I will have here. We will find another salon.

I’ve been coming here for about two years & I love it. It’s the nicest, cleanest, most relaxing nail salon I have ever been to. You’re always greeted as soon as you come in. They always do an amazing job on my nails!

I watched a tech at a different salon fix a set from Allure today and they were awful. Lumpy, thick, not the shape or color the young lady asked for, poor thing was so upset. Thankfully the other tech was able to fix them and they turned out beautiful! Never been here, but after seeing those nails I won’t be stopping in.(In response to Allure’s reply)No, Allure, it wasn’t me, as I stayed I have never been to your shop. But I saw firsthand what an awful job someone at your salon did on that girl’s nails, and how a tech at another salon came to her rescue. That was enough for me to stay away, and not recommend your shop. The nails that leave your shop are your walking advertisements, and if they are lumpy, misshapen, and done poorly it is a sign to consumers to stay away.

Finally a nail salon that is sparkling clean and fresh. I have been here 3 times and every person that has done my nails has been excellent and detailed. All instruments used came out of sealed pouches. The background music is pleasant and overall it is a classy and relaxing atmosphere with great service. Credit cards are accepted. The prices are similar to what I have paid elsewhere.

So Ive been going to Allure Nails for the past couple of months and had been seeing Karen mostly. I have been so ridiculously happy with the service and quality of work....however the past 2 times have been a complete nightmare. I dont understand why they encourage you to schedule online and then tell you theres 3 or 4 people in front of you. Today I had a 12:45 appointments and she told me there were 3 people ahead of me. Would I be willing to have someone else do my nails? Of course...Im flexible. I had one of the gentleman do my nails who is so engaging and funny and very nice however the job was awful. I mentioned to him that my thumb nail looked a little crooked and he laughed and quickly ran an emory board over its but it looks like Im deformed. Maybe I should have spoke up again but I had just about had it. The place is awesome the environment is awesome theyre all very nice but the work is awful. I only wish I could post a pic. Done with them. Too much money for the quality of work. I would wont be back.

I’ve never had to post a review about anything on google but my experience was too bad to not post something. My technician was so rough with my feet that it hurts to walk. Most of the skin on my feet is now raw. This was by far the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. My nails aren’t even evenly filed. She rushed through my pedicure, hurt me and it wasn’t relaxing in the least. I drove out solely to have a pedicure with my cousin and have a nice day. Now I’m just in pain and might have to see a doctor.

It was fairly crowded, but we customers didnt have to wait to long. As usual, I cant complain. The staff does a very professional job... even the newest receptionist, gets an A+.

I made an appointment about 5 days ahead for me and a friend. I was seated quite quickly but was nearly done by the time my friend was helped. The place was packed. I got an acrylic full set in a short almond shape and a blue gel nail color which turned out amazing. My friend on the other hand had just a gel manicure and her nails got cut down to square when she asked to keep her oval shape. She was left sitting for about 10 minutes with only one gel coat on her right hand. Overall the place was very clean and organized. Wish there would’ve been more open staff on a weekend.

I always go here to get my acrylic nails filled, or get a full set. I’ve only had luck with Jimmy. I was just in for a fill, my fingers actually hurt. My cuticles are completely gone under the acrylic on most of my nails, I was cut buy the drill she was using which she then filled with the acrylic shaving to make the bleeding stop, the one nail that fell off (my fault) is completely different from the others. It has a dent in the middle of it. It also was more expensive then any other time I’ve gotten a fill, I didn’t get any special polish or design. I’m not sure of the name of the woman that I had, but I’ve had her once before, and the same thing happened. I wasn’t happy about having to go back to her, but I gave her another chance.

Been going to Allure since the end of June and I Will not being going anywhere else! My search for an awesome nail salon and staff is over!Karen does my nails each time in and she does a beautiful job each time! She is patient and her quality is always consistent, I never leave upset, because I always love my nails!! I’ve been to a lot of salons in York and around and I will not go anywhere else!If you are looking for others who do good work, I’ve had pedicures done by young, Lin, and jimmy and they all were beyond nice, talked with me, and were patient and took there time on my toe nails!Thank you guys!

Came in again to get a new dip powder for my nails. Expressed before the removal of my last dip from another salon in the past was slightly painful. However, I met Quin (I hope I spelled her name right). This lady removed my previous dip smoothly and easily feeling no pain. She also offered a better color selection and style for my nails then I had in mind and loved it! Great to talk to as well and she made my evening. You folks have a great staff! Thanks always!

This was my first time at Allure and I honestly never get my nails done after a bad experience at another place. I have such good things to say about Allure and I plan on going back again and again! The atmosphere was relaxing, the interior was beautiful, neat and clean and the people were very nice. My pedicure was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back. I’m so glad I ventured out and tried this place and didn’t let my bad experience at another place ruin this wonderful indulgence I plan on treating myself to regurlarly at Allure.

Why bother making an appointment? This is the 5th time in a row I was taken at least 30 minutes past my appointment. I pay for their time and they never respect mine. I asked today why it was late again and I was told they had walk ins they couldn’t ignore. So here I am, don’t bother!

The salon was very nice and the staff was nice but when I went with my mom the lady that did her feet was very rough for no reason.. my mom goes to another salon regularly.. the lady cut he toe and hurt her.. your staff needs to learn to be gental on their customers.

I have been patronizing Allure since it opened and have always had the best quality services. Karen and her staff are friendly, courteous and well trained. I refuse to go anywhere else. Best nail and spa services in the York area!

If I could rate ZERO stars, I most certainly would. Unfortunately, I can no longer support Allure Spa Nails after being a faithful customer for nearly 2 or so years. Karen has officially wasted my time for the LAST time. I used PTO and left my workplace early to attend my 5PM APPOINTMENT only to be turned away AGAIN. Upon my arrival, Karen looked at me and then my nails and said they look OK, you can wait a few more days. I said no, theyve fallen off and I had an APPOINTMENT. She shrugged and shooed me out the door and told me to reschedule. Meanwhile, the shop was packed with Walk-Ins. This has happened literally countless times, and each time I have returned and tried to be understanding but it is costing me money and wasting my time! Karen has had me come ALL the way across time only to tell me to come back another day, or reschedule, or some other poor excuse - no call, no notice. NOTHING! There has been times where she has told me to come back in 2 hours, only to tell me to reschedule when Ive come back in the same day! It is truly ridiculous and insulting. I have brought countless friends to Allure Nail & Spa but will no longer patronize such an establishment that has absolutely 0 respect for their customers. I have waited more than an hour to be seen WITH an appointment, have been dismissed and refused service despite having an appointment, and, have returned to the shop countless times due to faulty nails and repairs. I have voiced my frustrations about Allures and Karens poor time management and judgment as it pertains to scheduling, and was asked to remove my last comment from Yelp the last time this occurred. I did so in an effort to be kind and give Allure another chance - so foolish of me. I am appalled at the lack of respect Karen and Allure give their clients and their total disregard for the slightest care about client satisfaction. I have taken my business and weekly spa days with my girlfriends to another shop that respects their clients time. Best of luck to Allure. Z

Went to get a mani/pedi with my best friend. Great girl time, right? Not here. My mani/pedi was done before my best friends pedi was complete. My tech started maybe 2 minutes prior to my friends. My tech rushed through, talked us into getting the “Deluxe Pedicure” for the callus treatment that I never received. I waited until my friend paid to see if we were charged for the same thing. When we were, I mentioned to the reception gentleman that I don’t think I received the pedicure I paid for and explained that my friends included the callus remover and an actual foot massage while mine barely trimmed my cuticles, didn’t do a damn thing for any callus, and no massage was given. My tech was very friendly, don’t get me wrong, but he rushed through and did not provide me with the services I paid for. When I mentioned this, I was told that my friend tech goes above and beyond and I should book with her next time. Seriously? Your techs should all put in the same effort, especially for the prices you charge. I will not be back.

I have been to quite a few salons around York and they all do the same thing...put you with their best person the first couple of times then you get who you get, even if you request a certain person. The last time there the guy who did my nails was rushed so i felt rushed and he did a horrible job. First couple times were awesome, downhill after that, moving on...

Spanish Karen is awesome ask for her. But I did have the other Karen and she does a great job too. Love this place. Very clean and well taken care of.

Im Not at all satisfied with my nails. Way too short, misshapen, different lengths, lumpy acrylic, polish doesnt go to the nail edge and my cuticles are actually sore! I mentioned my concerns with the man who did them and he responded by using an emory board to file off what he didnt cover with polish. Ill never go back. The atmosphere is great, the quality of service is lacking and the techs spend more time talking amongst themselves in their language than paying attention to the paying customers. Overcharges me and all for 3 cracked/broken nails the next day. i go back to get them fixed and all i got was attitude. I told her they were to thin and she had the nerve to tell me that i needed to be more careful. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and i’ve never had a problem until i went to allure worst customer service and just cause we dont speak the language doesnt mean we dont know when they’re talking bad about you.
