Bias receptionist. This one guy of Asian descent is constantly refusing to provide services to me. It is strange because I am a loyal customer and dont have any problem with the other receptionist. He also seems to let other patronage of particular race in without appointments. Very bizarre!

So I went to Anthony Vince Nail salon for a UV Gel Fill, the fill is $50 and then they want to charge you $15 more for the polish. That is so ridiculous and I have been having my nails done for 30+ years and I have never been asked to pay extra for polish. The woman that did my nails was just fabulous and she did a great job.

First it’s peaceful and empty that’s a good thing. Second I think they are a little to expensive but it’s expected it’s ridge hill. I came in for gel manicure got dip powder instead and gel pedicure I think the services was good just a little to pricey

The technician who did my nails was not skillful at all. My nails were completely lumpy after she had finished. I explained this to the technician but she could barely understand what I was saying because she doesn’t seem to speak/understand English. However, she picked up that I was not pleased and offered to redo my nails. Kind gesture which I appreciate, but I had been sitting down for 1hr and 15 minutes just for her to do a gel manicure...I did not have an additional 1 and a half hour to spare. I was very disappointed. I will NOT be revisiting.Also, the receptionist was very unpleasant. She was rushing me to complete some covid form online. Very unprofessional and impolite.

I went and the overall experience was fine. i came home after a nice time, realized the nail tech Vivian had gel painted my nail horribly- extremely streaky and now my pointer on my other hand may be infected. i got my nails done yesterday and ive had not one, but two issues. this is ridiculous. you pain for a nice experience but you nails will come out botched or literally infected. never coming again

The worst customer service front desk was absolutely uninviting and rude and with an appointment booked online refused to provide us with services we booked for and said we dont honor online bookings at the moment and we got there as soon as they opened and said anyway there is no one free right now...... I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one.The place looks nice. Front desk staff was okay. I went for a basic manicure and the nail tech told me to get gel manicure instead of the basic. I proceeded to tell her the previous gel set I had damaged my nails so I just wanted to give my nails a break. I guess she didn’t like that because she seemed to have an attitude after that and rushed through. My hands were extremely dry after leaving and the quality wasn’t the best. I started to get a gel pedicure beforehand but decided not to after the negative energy. Also have never been to a nail salon that made me pay before they even began the work. The rushed poor quality manicure was $15 and I tipped $20 and the front desk staff still looked as tho as the tip should’ve been more.Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Would never return here.

I visited this salon over a week ago. It was a horrible experience. The technician that was assigned to me, Rosa was the worst. She was very rude and rough with me while she was doing my manicure and pedicure. I also had my eyebrows done by her, they came out uneven. I use to like this place, it has gone hill very quickly. Im extremely disappointed by their down hill slope.

Ive been here a few times. After my last visit I decided to stop coming here.Last visit a girl BLOODED my cuticles! It got WORSE on one of them, INFLAMMATION lasted about a week, I couldnt touch my finger around this area. My husband is a doctor and prescribed me an antibiotic.At all it always was so hard to explain the staff anything, cause they are really know a few words in english.The quality of work is mediocre, however prices are high.

My mom and I went here to get my nails done. We asked for a normal manicure and pedicure with no gel. It was my birthday that day and the women that did my nails said,Since it is your birthday I will give you gel nails Just know that we were suppose to pay $35 for the mani and pedi. She gave me the gel and charged us $60. We were suppose to pay $35 but she charged us for the gel even though she offered it to us for free. I do not recommend this place to any of you they are scamming people there.

This salon is tremendous so it was pleasant to enter, without an arrangement, and be tended to right away. I settled on a plunge nail treatment am as yet satisfied with my outcomes 12 days after the fact. No chips or breaks. Will be returning one month from now.

After reading a lot of negative reviews about this place I thought I would give it a chance. I made a same day appointment for a Sunday afternoon. I went in at 11 and they gave me an appointment for 1. Upon arrival I was asked to choose my pedi color. I waited a couple of minutes. The technician came over and took me to the seat. It is really nice and really clean. The tools were sealed. The foot tub ( if that’s what it is called )had a plastic over it so it is replaced with every customer. There were two ladies across from me. When my pedicure got started they were getting their hot towel rub. To not make this long I started after them and finished before them . The lady that had me RUSHED!!!! She didn’t ask me if I wanted my nails cut... she just cut them. Didn’t ask one thing. I had to tell her to help my ingrown nails, I had to tell her she missed half of one of my nails. It was super quick and very superficial. I still feel my ingrown nails. She did ok. But nothing more than ok. Over priced for the service I got.I don’t think it’s the place but the person I got. The technician across from me was very thorough and I wish I would have gotten her.

This salon is huge so it was nice to enter, without an appointment, and be tended to immediately. I opted for a dip manicure and am still pleased with my results 12 days later. No chips or cracks. Will definitely be returning next month.

Very Nice Staff

They have a lot of nice add on services for the pedicure. All prices are listed in the pamphlet, so no surprises when its time to pay. Technicians are professional. Its a pretty quiet and serene place so you can relax. I do wish they had more of a color selection in the gels and it would be great if they offered some nail art.

Large clean salon. Slightly expensive for quality of services. Large selection of colors on wall display. Front desk will say they do not take appointments ... But they do for regular customers who call several days ahead. Walk-ins can expect wait times up to an hour.Sign in and ask for the wait time, leave and return when your time is nearly up... This is what most customers do which is why wait times can be ridiculous sometimes even when youre the only one waiting in the front.Unfortunately, my last visit was not great. Wait time was an hour and then was extended another 30-45 minutes because my friend requested a certain worker. Nevertheless, the front desk was strategic enough to take us both back together so we would have a better experience sitting beside each other. The chairs for pedicures are under dim lighting so Im not sure the workers were set up for success... It seemed like they could barely see what work they were doing. My polish was slightly sloppy and I left the salon with two inflamed toes. Both sides of my big toes were prodded and cut so deeply that I bled a little and am still in pain. Borderline infected... Although my friend did not experience the same. My manicure is nice.I went for the regular Mani pedi combo which was reasonably priced. (Pricing menu in photos.) I was asked if I wanted to add a $5 callus removal to my pedicure which I declined since usually the normal scrubbing during a pedi smooths my heels well enough. This time it did not, my heels were not given the usual treatment ... I think because I refused the callus removal upgrade.Anyway, I may return for Mani pedis in the future. Now I just know which worker to avoid and how to avoid sitting in the salon waiting for so long.Update: better experience on return visit

Went to get a wax for my upper lip . My lip was burning almost all day so I’m just thinking it’s a reaction comes to find out it’s actually a burn . Two at that ! Disgusted ! Been waxing my upper lip forever and never had this problem ever .

The worst Anthony Vince location I have ever been to! No one there is certified tech. They ruin your nails by over buffing and making them paper thin. Though the nail tech staff is friendly the front desk staff are the rudest people I have ever met. Never ever again I wish I could give them zero stars.

Was here on Saturday and the salon looks very nice. Very inviting. The service was okay not that best I would say but what really bothered me from this place was the fact that one of the Asian nail girls hit another co-worker on the shoulder. I don’t think she has the right to put her hands on anyone. The Spanish girl asked her why she hit her but she responded back in Chinese I’m assuming. I feel like the owner should say something to her.

Its just okay. The place is beautiful and inviting, but the bottom line is that they charge too much and just dont do the best job every time. For example--Ive had powder gel manicures that last a full two weeks or more at other places, but here they barely make it to a full ten days, but I had to pay more at this salon. Ive also noticed that everything is nickel and dimed here. You dont get any type of complimentary massage at any point, but other places Ive gone to will do a few minutes on legs for pedicures, hands for manicures, and neck and shoulders during manicures as well.

Ambiance and employees are nice but the services are not worth the prices. I have gotten pedicures and manicures with different people, three different times because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t just the person I got. I was not satisfied with any of the services. They did not mistreat me or were rude but they rushed and the product was not good.

First I want to say that the place is beautiful! Such a relaxing atmosphere! Secondly, I received the best treatment for both a fill in and a pedicure. I was finally able to relax and enjoy my time being pampered. They also have such a great selection on nail colors which I love. Thanks Vivian !

I really like the place very relaxingI loved my gel nails but after 6 days later I have 4 broken nails. ... will go to get them fixed and will update my review..Update....So I went to get them fixed and they charged me 20 extra bucks to make them thicker since he made them really thin i thought maybe they should be a tad bit thick so they wOnt break so easily but a few days later the same thing..

I had a great experience with the manicurist and pedicurist by the name of Jenny she did a great job and made me feel welcome and I giggled ask for the manager he was okay annoying but I could deal with it. They experience was worth the money at least of me cuz Im dont go cheap on myself

Walked into this salon on a Tuesday afternoon at around 4pm, staff were sitting in the back eating and did not get up to greet me until i ssked if they were open, lady laughed and strolled over saying of course.One man was there and he is very rude, I asked my assistant for a gel top coat, he walked over and said very rudely we dont do a gel topcoatManicure was fine, nothing special, can get one cheaper and just as good elsewhere.One star is too much for this place, if you want a fancy looking place with no soul this is it.

This place is deceiving. When you walk in, front desk staff is very friendly and attentive, but then not the nail technician.I had my nails done by Vivian. She was blatenly rude and difficult. She argued with me about my nail color selection and was lazy with her work. She then proceeded to raise her voice to the entire salon when I asked her to redo two nails. When she assisted me to dry, she picked up my sandals and basically threw them on the floor.This salon is lacking in customer service and quality work. Stay away from this place... don’t waste your money. There are plenty of other salons in the area.After reading a lot of the reviews, I noticed that most of the low ratings are coming from people with certain skin tone and ethnicities.I am not one to say that someone is racist but I am going to say that this place definitely treats you a certain way based on the color of your skin.

Told me a completely different price while she was doing my nails. Once everything was done I was charged way too much. They rushed my payment before I was even able to say anything. Won’t be going here again.

I like this place.. Never waited long, beautiful set up, a lot of workers. Great selection of nail polish and very clean. Prices may vary depending on what you want. I always go for the Lavender Scrub pedicure, I love it.. I recommend you find someone you like and stick with them. Some workers are a little too rough with cleaning cuticles and massages. Overall I do like this place and highly reccommend ! 👌

Been here a couple times. Pedicure with Henry was good. Had bad experiences with the dip polish. Was charged $47 for dip polish only. When asked why it cost so much i was told it was because I got a gel topcoat, which I didnt ask for. It was my first time getting dip so I thought it was routine. I believe dip polish starts around $37. Kinda sad I paid nearly $10 for that top coat. Ended up having to go back 3 weeks later because I broke my thumbnail. I just wanted my thumb fixed, but was talked into getting all new dip polish on my fingers. I was going to go with gel because its a lot cheaper, but I fell for how much healthier dip is. Nail tech this time was nicer and explained things better, but the polish color was mislabeled and i ended up with red nails again when i wanted pink with a gold accent nail. No real apology, even from the manager who was notified of the error. So now i have nails that look like they are christmas themed. All the nail tech said was that they looked pretty. Thanks, but no thanks. I wont be going back.

Lovely place but, went in with my child to have a mani-pedi and they didnt tell us they couldnt do both of us at same time. They started me, and then my child a half hour later. It would have been nice if they were more specific about this.

I spent $50 each for a spa pedicure for 2 of us, it didnt even come with callys removal. The extra leg massage time wasnt much time at all. Their foot dryers barely blow any air so my french pedicure smeared and ruined the polish. AND The next day my toe nail broke in half so they obviously didnt cut them properly. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

Update: I went back to this place several months after making my initial post. Ive changed my review from 4 stars to 1 because of the nasty front desk attendant. I asked her if theyd gotten latex-free gloves as Id requested previously, and she all but yelled at me about the question. She told me she remembered me and then accused me of lying on my nail tech (who Id complimented and tipped handsomely) stating that she wore latex when I asked her not to, a scenario that was complete fiction. I was a bit taken aback by this and politely corrected her. She continued on her tirade informing me that my so-called allergy was the first theyve ever had in the 5 years shes worked there, so they werent about to get special gloves just for me. I asked her why she was being so rude about it and she continued with her false accusations and faulty memories from several months ago. I turned around and walked out and will never return to this place again. Shame, because it is one of the nicest nail salons Ive been to in NY, thus far (and Im spoiled, Im a GA girl).Nice, clean interior. Decent job with manicure (I have natural nails, no acrylic). Good pedicure. Decent massage. The issue I have is that the shop has no vinyl gloves for people with latex allergies and when we spoke to the shop manager about it, it was clear there was no intention to get any for the shop. The other issue I had is with the massaging chair. It doesnt slide back very far so my legs were constantly bent at an awkward angle to fit in the bowl. Im 57. Otherwise, staff was nice and the shop was pretty. Prices were mid-tier, but justifiable. Great location for an evening out. Ill definitely return again.

I have been coming to this place since 2015. The service has declined dramatically, the store manager is very rude. Very selective with whom he is nice and courteous to. I have brought my sister, niece, and daughter, are are treated very poorly, the service is rushed as well. My manicures used to last 3 weeks and now I am noticing cracks after a week. You would think if you spent $53 on a full set it would be worth it but its not. That would be the last time I do business with this place. Oh and if you are a minority you will get treated differently as well!

I am visiting here from Atlanta and this is really the worst nail salon I’ve been to. The lady who did my nails rushed through them even though there was really no one waiting. The nail polish that I chose would not open and she told me to just choose another color in a rude tone! Like it was my fault the polish wouldn’t open. She paid no attention to detail and the end result did not look good! I would’ve been better off painting my toenails myself! $25 for a half a** pedicure. The quality is lacking here! The lady who did my nails was an older lady with a couple of grey hairs. Do not let her do your pedicure!

The only positive thing is this place is beautiful and the staff are very nice.Pricing is way too expensive. My friend got a pedicure for $25.00. That is insane to me.For me, I got dipping powder and a soak. I paid $50.00 for that which would of been fair if the work was done right but it wasn’t. I showed up to the place at 8 and they close at nine and she rushed right though it. She didn’t even clean my cuticles. The shape of my nail is ruined, I had to take the file and fix them myself. And she left my nails really thick, even though I politely asked for her to fix it. Also, after the soaking I informed her that I needed a silk wrap extension on my thumb, she was in such a hurry to finish that she tried filling to my shape and said no you don’t need it it’s fine. Meanwhile I was very hesitant telling her no I would like it because it’s really shorted compared to the rest of my nails and what did she do she filed all my nails down even though I didn’t want that.With all that being said. Never going there again. I expected so much more.RESPONSE TO OWNER:She soaked them for 5 mins then file and drilled files them off that isn’t worth $10 I am sorry.I’ve been to a number of different salons and three coats are more than enough, maybe your OPI dip needs 4 so you should look in to other brands.As far as uneven nails, lumps and thickness you are wrong. I have never had a nail tech tell me they can’t file them down to my liking. It was horrible and they were even lumpy. This is no justification to that but the fact that she was rushing to leave even though the place was opened for another hour from when I got there.The price wouldn’t of been a problem if the time was taken to do my nails efficiently. I had to go get them re done somewhere else the next day and that nail tech commented on the nails before I can even tell her what I experienced. With that being said, no I won’t be coming back to a place that handles their customers time and money the way I was handled.

Just really poor service ESPECIALLY for the price. I no longer go there because i just can’t see paying all that money for such nasty attitude even if it was free I would not want to go back. The person who serviced me was also tending to the front desk at the same time, she cursed me out when I told her I came to relax and enjoy my mani pedi. She kept going back and forth and speaking out loud to the other technicians as she’s king my nails. And it’s not the first time I got very rude service. I gave them chance after chance because it’s a convenient location for me but I found a better place where the technicians have manners. It’s only a matter of time before this place goes out of business with this type of service the word will get out...but then again maybe they just want certain people there. ;) Well now you have it. Beautiful place, however, dont judge a book by its cover. I went there about a month and a half ago, and was not impressed by the pedicure. I did like the way Gladys did my Gel manicure, so I went back. After my second visit I noticed my feet were itchy and sweaty. I had never experienced this before. About 2 days later I noticed white skin growing under my foot and around my toes. Come to find out I had foot fungus from the pedicure. Definitely will not be back!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. This place is extremely overpriced for no reason. Just because the venue is nice does not mean the service and quality is. I spent $52 dollars on an acrylic, gel, full set that didnt even last me a week. The gel started to chip THE NEXT DAY and today all my nails broke off one by one, while I was just doing everyday chores. I should not have spent as much money as I did to have the result be this way. The ladies that work here are rude and very rough, they handle you like you are a burden and do a sloppy job at painting nails. This place is a disgrace of a nail salon and honestly I wish I never spent my money here because I am highly disappointed. 1 star given because this place is as trash as it gets.

Walked in at 8:30pm. Was greeted by the host. Told her I wanted pedicures for two. She says its 8:30 and we close at 9. We arent accepting anymore customers. If thats the case, close the door and dont allow anyone in after 8:30. She said the doors close at 9. So she has refused to service us because we came 30 Mins before they closed. I could have had a pedicure in 15mins. Place looked great but Ill take my business elsewhere

Beautiful space, high end furnishings and service. Efficient tecnicians and they have a large offering of colors, and polish brands. Seems like they should have complimentary champagne (maybe as a HH promo for the look and quality of the space.

I️ visited this place many times with mixed feelings because it is so nice but the staff is very rude and unhappy. I️ normally tip at least 30% and the technician complained because I️ should be giving more. She proceeded to give me attitude and explain that they don’t actually get paid but that they work off tips. A similar situation was experienced by other people I️ recommended to get mani pedis as well. The services are not cheap and getting a nasty attitude from an employee at a place that’s very out of my way is unacceptable. I️ go there and pay fairly for a service for which tips are optional not mandatory especially when they are demanded. Management needs to do a better job at training and paying their employees well to avoid them running the customers out. I️ and the other 3 people I️ brought along will not be coming back.

Been going here for 3 years, giving double-digit tips and Christmas bonuses to the same technician. She left. Tried someone new. She left. Made an appt to try someone else. The lady at the front desk has entered my appointment time incorrectly a couple of times and had done so Again! When I arrived this time, she argued that I was wrong. I dont come all the way from Manhattan without making and confirming my appointment! She went to figure something out, returned to the front desk and got on her cell phone. I walked over to find out what she had figured out. Her response - Oh, dont talk to me. Talk to him(the mgr), who shared Id have a 30min wait. Why make an appointment if I have to wait a half hour because YOU scheduled my appointment incorrectly. I left. But heres what never happened - no apology for the inconvenience, no admission of guilt, no recompense to fix the situation, and no urgency to communicate. After all these years, its come to this - I will Never pay for poor customer service. Period. Sad.

I got a mani pedi here this weekend. They did a really great job for the price ($44 for mani/pedi combo), and the environment is very clean and relaxing! I really enjoyed the lavender scrub they use in the spa pedicure!

I love the Anthony Vince Nail Spa at Ridge Hill in NY. They have beautiful, clean facilities, and their staff works hard to take care of their customers. I highly recommend going for your mani/pedis.

The receptionist is super rude as previous reviews have noted. However, she is only rude to certain people (eye roll). I would advise management to replace her with someone less off-putting

I was there to have my nails done ... what a horrible treatment i received from Vivian ! She was doing a very bad job with my nails ... she didnt want to do her job at all she just gave me an attitude every time i ask her to fix my nails that look uneven, she painted my nails and my skin! and also got upset because i ask her to fixed the bottom of my nails that were full of leftover acrylic and she keep insisting thats how they are suppose to look like.. I was charge 52$ for acrylic nails ! My fingers are straight and they look horrible now .. Dont be deceive by the look of this place they will charge u a lot of money an treat u like they are giving you a free ride.UpdateAfter removing the acrylic in another salon and paying 55 dollars because the girls spend almost an hour removing the excesive amount of acrylic that was applied. I notice that 3 of my nails got a light spot in it that looks like fungus. I have never have this before.🙄

Hostess was rude. Disappointing considering that I️ am a client and have paid for elevated service here while tipping above 20% to show my appreciation for the staff. For such a beautifully stunning looking place their A.V Spa pedicure is absolutely terrible. I always get spa pedicures everywhere I go and this was hands down the biggest rip off for their clients.You get no real special scrub she uses spa cheap lavender scrub that you buy from the body shop, then the mask she rubs it on wet and cold so it never really pentetrates the skin. So I thought well it says extended massage on the description so maybe thats where the special treatment is and no I timed her using my phone because she had no timer for herself and she spend approximently 2.5 mins on each foot! What kind of extended massage is that? There was so special lotion or paraffin they used the same products the for the regular pedicure so I basically paid $40 for a regular pedicure. The woman who did my service was unhappy about something and I feel that she really didnt care much about doing a great job she rushed and kept complaining in Spanish to her co worker so I knew she was unhappy because they didnt know I could understand them. I must say I was so upset because moving to this area I thought I found my new spot and I will probably never come again. The front desk guy is so unhappy he didnt smile or welcomed me he simply said yes can I help you and when leaving he just looked at me no goodbye or thank you. My experience was so terrible that I changed my service from excited to spend $75 for gel and spa pedi to just $50 on the spa pedi and regular mani because the whole service started off so negative. There are many places out there that will give you a real spa treatment but not here save your money and give it to businesses that care about their clients.

I wouldve given this place a ZERO star.. guy with the glasses in front was rude, abnoxious, and unhelpful. On top of that he was playing with his phone while talking to us and basically now focusing on our questions, and he messed up at the end. Start treating your costumers, or you will lose them all.

Very rude at the front counter; wouldnt take my girlfriend in to get her nails done over an hour before they closed.
