Quite picturesque, flowing well manicured landscape accented by tasteful lighting and woodsy buildings. I look forward to any event here, its a beautiful setting for any event. Absolutely lovely. Despite its allure, we passed on this location due to the significant fees they charge. If you can afford it or there is no objection to money, apply early...like a couple years early if you have a summer date. They fill quickly. I dont have anything to say against the staff, they serve well during the event.

This place is definitely on the pricey side. However, its well worth it. We were nervous as potential newlyweds, will something go wrong, will we be prepared. The owner Eileen, was there with us the whole way. She kept her promise on answering every question we had and once the big day came, she was attentive and supportive. Her staff was very respectful and courteous through and through. Definitely recommending. Thank you Eileen and staff! Money well spent!

Unfortunately, like most, we should have read the reviews before going through this place for ANYTHING. My sweet sister and maid of honor threw me a bridal shower where she wanted to rent some table and chairs for the day! However, after arranging this weeks in advance, every call, email and voicemail went unanswered. Yes, I understand that wedding season is upon us as well as many other crazy things in this world. But responding in a timely manner and sticking to your word when you say you will do something isn’t asking for much. We are the customer. We are giving you our business, the least you could do is respond to us. After countless calls and emails, my sister finally contacted me 3 days prior to the shower saying she has not heard from Cascade Gardens and she fears we may not have tables and chairs for our event. I immediately made a call to the owner. She laughed it off and said “oh so sorry, I was in Canada over the weekend, I promise I will catch up and get that invoice sent out this afternoon.” I took her word. If we didn’t hear back that day with the invoice, I told my sister to call her first thing in the morning. Well morning came and went with more unanswered phone calls. It took my mom calling multiple times to finally get her to answer and telling her she is on her way there to pay the invoice that day. No more run arounds. We had had enough. After asking for an invoice multiple times, she finally told my mom she could pay over the phone. This lady is full of excuses and is very unprofessional. It’s a shame because the place is beautiful. It was honestly a terrible experience, and we were just renting tables and chairs for a day. I can’t even imagine the stress a bride and groom might go through trying to plan a wedding with her. Yikes. Also, you have a typo on your website. I believe you mean 4TH, not 4RD year in a row. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Been to the plant store in the mall a few times now, so sad to see the changes they have made recently. It went from being a cute little local pop-up to another box style store. I dont know if they hired merchandiser or what but its losing its cutesy small boutique appeal which is a real drag. If you go on the right day and get the right people its awesome, otherwise its in your face bed bath and body works style customer service that its such a turn off like at the other stores in the mall.Hope you find your way back to the roots.

We were fortunate enough to be able to attend our nephews wedding here. The grounds were lovely and the staff helpful. The bride, however, was the most beautiful. Thanks Brandon and Cami for the wonderful time.

I do not leave reviews very often but I felt to help future brides I should share my experience.I have heard great things about the venue but wish I would have read reviews about service prior to trying to use them. I got engaged in August and immediately I reached out via email to inquire, the initial response was prompt, however, my reply went unanswered. I later sent a text message, no response. I put my order request through on their site, no response. I called, no response or call back. My mother called, no response. She called 3 more times just trying to set up an appointment. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt because I figure she is pretty busy and I really wanted glassware for the wedding. I sent another follow up email, no response. Finally, January my mom was able to set up an appointment at the store front at the mall. We arrived on time, she however was worried about helping a new gal, which is fine except it took longer. My hopes were that we would say what we wanted, we’d fill out whatever forms, and leave our deposit. I was disappointed when she said she would email me the invoice; she couldn’t even give me delivery charges while we were there. It has been almost a month and I still have not heard from her.So, I decided to go with another company that was very responsive and I have everything planned and handled promptly within 24 hours. I find their service very unprofessional. I understand that weddings/events are a huge market and can get very busy, however, I was treated as if my business did not matter. That my day did not matter. I know it is COVID times and things are often changing, however, if you understand most brides, they like to get as much handled and set as soon as they are able. There is no reason this should have been a 6-month attempt. I won’t be recommending them to anyone. Their venue is gorgeous! And I cannot say anything about their services at the venue but as far as renting equipment off site, don’t do it. Maybe that was the insignificance of my business because I was not having my wedding at their facility so they cared less. I am completely appalled by how unprofessional this experience was.If you choose to use them, I hope your experience was better than mine.

I visited the new shop in the mall. It is lovely and most things are nicely done. The only exception is the older gal working there with white hair - needs to back up a bit. She isnt observing social distancing even though their are signs about it, seemingly cant wait to push her plant information on you. I did not ask for information, Im well versed on plants and still she had to walk behind me telling me information and her favorite things. It comes across as a pushy used car sales person. didnt enjoy that kind of interaction while shopping. It was cringe worthy. The store does have a nice selection of items.

I was hoping I’d be able to give a 0-star review, but unfortunately that isn’t an option. So, the one star I would say goes towards the beautiful grounds. That, however, is where the beauty stops. As a Bride and/or Groom, you will see this venue and be told promise after promise by Eileen, the owner. It will all seem easy and simple. Unfortunately, it is anything but!In the midst of trying to navigate wedding planning during a pandemic, I never thought my biggest stress would come from the venue’s owner. Every text, call, email and even Instagram message went unanswered for MONTHS. Checks would be dropped off and not cashed for MONTHS, some even lost completely. Even when you could finally get a hold of someone, the information you got back (if you were lucky enough to get any) wouldn’t even be close to what you asked for in the first place. We had to stop by in-person to finally get someone to speak to us. This was completely unacceptable behavior from a business owner and alleged “wedding coordinator.”Eileen will smile at you and tell you everything is just great and then when you are no longer in front of her, drop all pretenses and never deliver on any promise ever made. Even her florist took SEVEN MONTHS to get back to me on floral prices after being reminded 3 times and still didn’t have the order correct. Then when it was discovered we wouldn’t even be able to have our reception when planned because of COVID-19, she suggested we lie and say it’s a religious ceremony so that it would be approved by the government. Because she deemed lying an option, she would either charge us over $1,000 to cancel, charge us over $1,000 to reschedule for next year or not charge us to change the date within the year. When we were obviously forced to go with the last answer, she then didn’t change the base price (even quoted us the wrong price for our new date and thank goodness we kept our original paperwork) and therefore wouldn’t consider any kind of negotiation given we LEGALLY could not hold our reception. No aspect of this venue is worth signing that contract for. Yakima is a beautiful place, and I beg of you to please consider a different venue. Even your own backyard would be better than having to navigate, second guess and double check everything that is done at Cascade Gardens. If you have already signed and you are unfortunately in the same situation that I was, make sure you keep a very detailed list of the payments received and the dates received on because they will definitely get that wrong too – whether on purpose or just extremely unorganized, I don’t know. Either way, you are much better off having your wedding elsewhere.

I couldnt agree anymore from the review Kendall Kantola posted (I’m sorry you had to go through with that). It was spot on with everything you said. My husband and I had to deal with very similar issues.Venue is very beautiful and from what I was told it was going to be a very promising day and I’m sure it would have, had the pandemic not arrived. We considered changing the date, rebooking, having a smaller wedding taking everything day by day week by week with all the phases and see what we could possibly do for our wedding date. When wedding ceremony was allowed we asked and she said she wouldn’t be able to do that because it wasn’t a church so we didn’t get that option. But nothing looked promising or having to work with Eileen we decided to cancel 2 wks before the wedding date. I received half my deposit back and called it good instead of dealing with Her.Her lack of communication once the shut down happened wasn’t getting better and very unprofessional, she wouldn’t return calls, she would wait days to answer a text message that was read within minutes of being sent (she had her read receipts on) I was concerned for her when we wouldn’t get calls back or anything I sent her message letting her know that I hope everything is okay and she is doing fine, she would say I’m going to call you at this time and never did.Once you got on the phone her customer service voice turned and seemed so sappy, for us when her work phone is her personal phone. She proceeded to say she had limited hours.Communication about your new hours and updating your google times would have been very helpful to me and others. She was not attentive for services being paid for. Customer service from our first encounter the in between and after cannot hold truth. Don’t jump on the phone and act like you are so concerned and sappy for someone’s wedding date during a pandemic, when you ignored texts and calls.Florist as well never sent me a quote, I kept checking my email for days and nothing. I didn’t bother following up.My dream wedding was perfect without it being at cascade gardens.

I have had many company Christmas parties in the lodge here. Great rustic atmosphere with very creative use of gnarled logs and large boulders. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. Reasonable pricing. Brought in a caterer but rented the dishes and stuff from them so didnt have to deal with clean up. Get your reservations in early!

Cascade Gardens did such an awesome job for our wedding, Eileen went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned even though it was pouring rain you made sure everything went smoothly. Right before my father was about to walk me down the isle my three year old son had a total meltdown kicking and screaming; Eileen asked if I wanted help and I frantically shook my head yes please! and she grabbed my son and held him so we could all enjoy the ceremony. Her husband (Wes) is super awesome, has a great voice, very accommodating, he served as our DJ. Awesome awesome awesome. Great place. Thank you again.

Just spent a remarkable day at Cascade Garden! My son was married yesterday, surrounded by family and friends, at the most picturesque venue in the valley; we had numerous compliments on the beautiful surroundings.Eileen, Leanne and Wes were sincerely wonderful to work with while planning our special event. Every one of her crew performed their tasks with composure and patience, and graciously stepped in to assist when they saw a need. The flower bouquets, coursages, bouttoniers, crowns and table centerpiece arrangements were beautifully crafted down to the most minute detail; Leanne is truely a master! If you desire ease in planning, and a uniquely distinct setting for your special event, I highly recommend Cascade Garden. You will receive courteous service and your wishes will be honored!

The owner of this place is extremely un professional and does not treat her employees well at all! She messes up on scheduling and blames her employees for the mistake made. She has fired many of her employees for rediculous excuses and has even let a few go and didnt even have the decency to notify them that they were no longer unemployed there, until after weeks of unanswered texts she has a snide unprofessional remark and then blames the employee for not showing up... Poor management and extremely poor ownership!

We had our wedding at Cascade Garden on May 3, 2008, and it was fantastic! The flowers and trees were in bloom, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The only decorations that we bothered to set up were tablecloths and centerpieces—the venue is so beautiful inside and out that we didn’t feel anything else was necessary. It was a little rainy that day; the weather held out during the ceremony, but it started sprinkling a bit on and off during the reception. Our tables were set up under their covered area outside and it protected people from the rain. When it got chilly, people were able to move inside and we had a warm fire in the fire place—the lodge is very cozy. We had considered setting up tents because we knew that the weather was unnecessary, but we ended up not doing it and it turned out to be unnecessary. We loved that there were lots of different spaces for people to congregate and talk. One thing that annoys me about weddings is that once the dance starts, conversations stop because you can’t get away from the loud music. This is not the case at Cascade Garden, though, because there is plenty of space inside and out for people to go if they don’t want to dance. We wanted a BBQ/picnic feel and not a formal feel, and we chose to have their volleyball net set up (this is optional and you don’t need to have this set up during your event), and we brought in a ping pong table, too. There is also an area with toys for kids to play (we had plenty of kids at our wedding) which kept them (and their parents!) happy. They provide a really nice building for the wedding party to get dressed and ready, and to relax before (or during!) the wedding and reception. I loved the fact that we were able to have both our ceremony and reception in one location so our guests didn’t have to drive in between. We used their chairs and tables and they were perfect. We were able to meet at the venue with our caterer before the wedding so that we could discuss how and where they would set up. They have a separate “cantina” which is perfect for serving beer and wine. Oh—and there is no need to go somewhere to take your wedding pictures—there are plenty of picturesque places to get your photos taken right there at the venue! The owners were very helpful as well. Oh, and when it started getting dark, all sorts of white lights came on and the place looked magical! All of our guests loved the venue and had a great time—despite the weather! I would DEFINETLY recommend this venue for any wedding or party!
