Debra has been a loving and safe person for me. I felt at home from day one. I really appreciate how she offers more than just talk therapy if one is open to it. She has quite a collection of healing modalities that I enjoy venturing in.
I emailed Debra to set up a free 10 minute Zoom consultation to find out more about her practice. She called me back the following day and we set up the meeting for the following morning. She was pleasant enough and I was interested in becoming a client. However, at the end of the consultation, she mentioned that she requires clients keep a credit card number on file with her so that she can auto-charge for missed appointments, etc. This was a big red flag to me. I see many doctors on a routine basis and none of them has ever requested to keep a copy of credit card on file. No previous therapist I had ever been to requested this either. I sent her a follow-up email about this and never heard back. I guess she really didnt need my business after all. Because of her failure to respond, I am unable to review her as a therapist, but only as a businesswoman based upon our brief interaction.
