Visited Park Dental today to investigate a sore tooth and get a cleaning. Ive been going to this office for nearly ten years and have had consistently excellent service. Dr. Petersen does a great job and the staff are both caring and professional.
I went to this dentist about a month ago for a cleaning and x-rays. When I left they tried to tell me I needed 12 fillings for around $5,000. I decided to get a second opinion thankfully and was told I would not need any fillings! Not only that but they told me this Dr. tried to charge me double! This Dr. was so greedy they wanted to ruin my perfectly good teeth! DONT and I repeat, DONT GO HERE!
Went in for a dental emergency (tooth cracked, and will need wisdom teeth taken out) and was told by Dr. Kristy Petersen after taking x-rays to take some ibuprofen and schedule time with a different type of dentist. I wish they would have just told me over the phone that they cannot do anything about a cracked tooth instead of taking time off of work to come in for a less than 30 min appointment to tell me they cant do anything. They gave me a referral to the most expensive and lowest rated doctor. The only reason why they would send someone to the most expensive doctor is so they get a referral bonus. The doctor quoted me nearly $4k and $1.4k after insurance. When I talked to a different doctor they are quoting at $750. Cannot fathom the disappointment and frustration from this dental office.
Great Drs and staff! Highly recommend Park Dental!
Everyone at the clinic is extremely nice, they take the time to explain everything that is about to happen and tell you exactly what to expect. They are very concerned with your comfort and making sure you are not experiencing any pain while having procedures done. I was asked numerous times while getting my cavities filled if I was experiencing any pain and if there was anything I needed. I would recommend them to everyone.
Have been going to this dentist for 20 years, they refused to help me because I have a balance. I have always paid them off, I have never had a balance go to collections, I just pay when I get paid, and this is how it has been with this dentist for 20 years. I now have to find a new dentist because apparently unless you are rich and can pay your entire balance the day of this office will not help you.
I can’t say enough good things about this dentist office. They’re upfront about pricing and personable. Dental procedures are done efficiently and with very little pain. Through talking to family members, I found out their dentists don’t even offer the choice between a silver or white filling. This office does. The information this dental office provided was silver fillings last much longer than white ones and are much cheaper. I feel they’re very trustworthy. Highly recommended.
I have seen Dr. Peterson about a dozen times and all have been as good of a dental experience as I believe is possible for a dental visit. I had been seeing Dr. Browning and was hesitant to switch when she moved offices but Dr. Peterson was and has been great. To reviewer 1, Dr. Peterson does do extractions, there must have been something out of the ordinary with yours that required an oral surgeon. Not uncommon with back teeth (molars). Im certain she did not set out to make your life miserable that day, nor does she have a plot to steal your money for the rest of your life reviewer 2 (15 google reviews and all 1 star). Ive had one issue in the 7 years Ive been going to Park Dental and they were professional and saw to it that it was resolved.
I love this dentist office, they have hours that meet my work schedule without me having to take a day off. they also listen to me about my concerns. I have a bad back so it is hard to sit in the chair for long, they are always patient and allow me breaks during cleanings and procedures. great bedside manner. this place is Awesome!!!!!!!!
My company laid off nearly half the work force. As an older disabled single mom I knew my department was next and it was so I clearly stated to Dentists which procedures to do before my benefit ran out and could get MA to cover simple fillings but the Dentist did other work costing me more than I could pay and outside of stated budget then sent me to collections . I am still disabled and can’t pay the $800. When people with my last name went in for service they were rudely advised they had to pay my bill( my private info was disclosed according to them) until they had to argue that is not them but me. They were embarrassed as was I and humiliated by this and why was my info discussed multiple times with others and why did they not follow my treatment instructions which would have worked perfectly? Never again😞
I received an EOB (estimate of benefits) from my insurance provider yesterday with 2 different dental procedures. I last saw the dentist 6 months ago. I spoke with my insurance provider and the clinic submitted a prior authorization for the dental procedures earlier in the month without my knowledge or consent. The dentist recommended these procedures about 2 yrs ago which I explained to her that I am not having issues or changes so I would prefer not to proceed with this and she agreed to my wishes. Now I get an EOB for this. I called the office manager Megan and asked why did the clinic submit this without my knowledge or concent. Her explanation was well we need to do a prior authorization before proceeding with the procedure. I asked why was this done without my wishes. She replied that maybe an assistant reviewed my old records and came across her original recommendation and submitted the prior auth. She said that the clinic is not out to make money BUT why then do extra work that is not wanted by the patient. I feel this clinic is more concerned about making money not obtaining patient consent and respect patient wishes. I would recommend this clinic.
Everyone here is extremely nice, gentle with your teeth, and overall quality job. So glad I changed dentists to come here. Highly recommend
Disappointed in their lack of flexibility with finances. Though I paid a balance off in full, they would not let me bring my kiddos back for appts because balance had gone to collections due to payment crossing in mail.
I got Turned away, as a patient and faced Patient DISCRIMINATION based on false information of patient billing. I was told that I would have a cleaning service and they turned me down refused me as a patient. Not only is it illegal to refuse to give patient care and turn patients away with out any substantial evidence it is a form of discrimination under human rights! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Location. The Front Desk ANGELA a woman with short auburn hair, brown eyes is very RUDE DISRESPECTFUL refuses to answer questions or direct a patient, IGNORES you, DISCRIMINATES based on appearance and turns customers down. Very disappointed in this company and it is a JOKE to represent health care when you do not provide a service to a patient in need. DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT RECOMMEND -10 Stars!
They do not listen to their patients. They did a procedure without consent. Knowingly against my wishes.
I’ve been going to this location for years and I’ve never had any customer service issues or bad dental work. I’d highly recommend Woodbury park dental.
During fillings didnt give enough painkiller feel them grind my teeth down even after i told them i could feel it
Everything is wrong with your teeth so were gonna have to take all your money for the rest your life away
