So far 3 months of their service and I am beyond pleased each visit. I first started off with natural nails, short. After I decided to switch it up. I got a full set gel. The one guy I had sits on the left side of the shop. Polished neatly and fast. On a Tuesday I went in at 11 and out at 12..Definitely better options on my feet including wax for the feet.

Every time I go in there I love it. The workers are so nice and they really made me feel at ease as i am always a bit nervous at first. Best place I’ve ever been to in my opinion. I don’t get my nails done much but I would start just so I could go there all the time.

It’s such a refreshing atmosphere. Everyone seems so nice. They do serve wine ladies 🥰 the guy who did my nails, did a terrific job. They look so cute and professional. I definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a chill spot with great service!

Honestly I have never felt more relaxed. This is the second time I’ve been in this place and they have exceeded my expectations as always. Their excellent service keeps me coming back. Don’t even get me started on how great the prices are, I got the paraffin pedicure and my feet have never been softer and for such a reasonable price you can’t beat it 🔥 If you’re thinking of going to any nail salon in Winston Salem VIP NAIL BAR is the place to be.

I love this place so much and their work so much but Im only giving them four Stars for now because I went to them about the 26th and my nails polish has started to just peel off?? Such a horrible experience... I have been to this salon 3 times to see if they will change my experience and every time I have ended up disappointed... Today I decided to go here because it is 2 minutes from my house and its raining... I usually go to harmony Nails off Country Club Rd but it is 25 minutes from my house... I was charged $25 for this pedicure and I will let the pictures speak for itself😩

I loved how I walked in an immediately I was welcomed in and greeted. He did my nails gently and exactly the way I asked. I was so impressed that I tipped more than I usually tip. I really enjoyed the peace and the interest they had in doing my nails. Very well please with the service and the price.

It was okay for a quick full set. They need to clean their tables a bit more especially during this time with Covid-19.

My nails are uneven and busted looking I asked for a coffin shape and they’re almost dagger pointy on a few of them the nail doesn’t even cover my whole actual nail bed like they try to make my fingers look smaller and when I asked them to fix it or give me my money back they refused to do either except give me back my tip so I won’t be going here anymore very rude unprofessional and they do not clean anything they use, the nail clippers be used on me had someone else’s nail in it!!

I do not typically go here but my regular nail technician was not available Im so glad that I stumbled across this place. The technicians were very sweet and did a great job they are a little pricey but nothing outrageous and I did request a more difficult design and Gel Polish. Top picture is what I got bottom picture is what I wanted something similar to I would say they did a great job. I will be returning.

Michael was a great tech, had a nice conversation with him and he did a really good job on them. I was serviced really fast, I walked in the door and was immediately asked what they can help me with. I had a design so after Michael painted my nails, he had Alice come to do my accent design nails, and she did good with it. I recommend them definitely

I recently moved to Winston-Salem and decided to give this nail salon a try. This is my third time visiting this salon and it will NOT be my last time! I’ve been getting my nails done for years and they do a better job than any salon I’ve ever been to. They are amazing!

The first time I went the tech didn’t get all of my old polish off. The girl that arched my eye brows messed them up. Hers looked great. I assumed she would do the same for my brows. Wrong! I gave them another chance due to convenience. So I decided to choose what seemed to be the lead nail technician. Once again I got a manicure with gel polish. The nail polish on all my nails are coming up from the nail bed. I can literally peel it off of my nails. She gave me a hand massage standing up which was very awkward. I gave this place a chance twice but not again when there are other places out there that do better work. They all seem nice but being nice doesn’t hack it if the work isn’t done properly.

This place is absolutely wonderful, the staff is very friendly and professional. They are extremely clean unlike some of the other local places. No long waits they will take you at your appointment time. Its warm and inviting. I will recommend VIP Nail Bar to any and everyone.

VIP nail bar is a great place to get your nails done. I have been a customer for about a year and I leave satisfied every single time. Plus theres a nice friendly atmosphere.

Today was the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. And it sucks because 2 weeks ago I went here and they did an amazing job! Today acetone was left on my nails for 30 minutes, no one checked on them and when I told someone my fingers were itching and asked if the guy was coming back I got a sarcastic response. Ive never had acetone left on this long. Then customers who came in after me were getting worked on before me and the last straw was when I was asked to switch chairs and the guy started working on a woman who came in 15 minutes after me. I took off the tinfoil and walked out. You shouldnt treat customers that way.

My first experience here was great, and if you go to anyone at this nail salon, go to Tina. My initial set was done by her and was exactly what I wanted and I was so happy. Everyone is very friendly and my reason for giving 2 stars is for lack of consistency with the nail technicians. I went back a week ago to get a fill (with a different tech) only to have my nails start lifting the NEXT day. (My friend with a different tech experienced the same problem) I finally went back to have them fixed and they made the same technician who didnt do them properly, fix them. She cut them down too short, didnt file them into any shape, and the acrylic is bumpy and uneven. Im in the beauty industry and I understand dealing with a re-do isnt ideal, but this is the worst set of nails Ive ever had and Im sad to say I wont be back. Even though I was asking for them fixed they still charged me $12 for a gel polish change, which was no issue, but the nail tech didnt communicate how much I was being charged before she swiped my card. The amount was no issue, but the lack of communication about a price unlisted on their service menu is definitely something to be addressed.
