My husband and I were lied to when we signed up by multiple employees. We have been fighting with this gym for literal months to get the money we paid back. Corporate doesn’t even have full control over this locations practices. They can post apologies and explanations beside all these poor reviews, at the end of the day corporate needs to come in and clean house at this location, including the owner who provides absolutely no oversight. The gym itself is run down as well. Absolutely no redeeming qualities here.

Constant broken equipment that never gets fixed. Lazy staff. Dirt and garbage everywhere. And now the wifi no longer works because the bull hasn’t been paid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

This is by far the WORST gym to have a membership with. Ive called multiple times and asked to cancel my membership. They still havent done it. unacceptable. They have charged me for several months after my membership was supposed to be canceled. I have not been to this gym in MONTHS! Looking at the other reviews this seems to be a very common pattern. Which is horrible. I would not recommend this gym and the “GM” Devin is horribly rude and unprofessional. Clearly yall needed the money more than me if he needed to be that rude 😂😂 especially if this is common. If y’all are taking peoples money atleast clean the gym and invest back into your gym

My wife signed up with this club for a singular membership on June 2nd. She originally went in to inquire about a program her employer offers, “fitness your way”, to see if Workout Anytime participated. Devin, who identified himself as the gym manager, informed her that they did not. He then offered her a $15 membership. He did not inform her about any other fees whatsoever, $15 a month was the verbal offering. She agreed to $15 a month, that was it. He then had her sign on a pin pad for what he claimed was “autopay and gym rules”. There was no written or verbal explanation or notification of other fees.I wanted to join the gym a few months later. I went into the gym August 9th and spoke with Keegan (name might be slightly off). I informed him that my wife was an existing member and that we wanted to convert to a family plan. He offered me $29 monthly to cover myself and my wife together on a family package. While he volunteered no additional information, I had to pull the fees out of him with very pointed questions, he did end up answering honestly pertaining to initiation and membership fees. I agreed, requested her membership to be canceled since we were now covered on one together. He said she’d need to come in or call Devin. I agreed and that was the end of that interaction.On August 20th, we received a letter from the ABC collections because her card was declined for the August 2nd gym draft. We see that she had been paying $19 monthly instead of $15, she then looks at her bank statement and sees she was charged $19 twice (3 times counting August 2nd) and $38 once. This is plainly not what she agreed to. Devin blatantly misled her about the true cost of membership. I immediately call Devin at the gym, explain the situation and our existing membership for $29. He then informs me that us being together for $29 isn’t a real package they offer and that he wouldn’t be refunding the difference that he misled my wife on. I inform him of what he told her and what Keegan told me. He responds by stating “I can’t give away the gym”. I didn’t expect anything besides what we were promised. I inform him that I want both memberships canceled, and my $79 refunded since I was lied to and 11 days into it. He refuses to refund but says “done” regarding the cancelations. Come to find out from corporate my membership is still active as of August 30th. Also, neither my wife nor myself received the membership agreement because at both points of signup two different people made the same action of either intentionally entering in the wrong email address or not entering one at all despite asking for it. This is a blatantly obviously tactic to make sure that their lies aren’t uncovered immediately. These two individuals have zero integrity and are a stain on your organizations name. Looking at the Google reviews for this location just over the last year, this is obviously common practice when it comes to lying about billing. I expect a resolution and some accountability. To right this wrong, I want my $79 refunded and I want my wife refunded all but $45 of what she has paid. She agreed to $15 monthly, three months equals $45.As a career salesman, this is by far the most disgusted I have ever been after buying a product or service. If this club is that desperate for business that they resort to underhanded sales tactics or outright lies, they need to diversify themselves competitively and throw some marketing dollars at it. I understand that this is a franchised location, however it is Workout Anytime’s name on the building, there must be accountability for situations like this.Run and run fast.

I often find myself cleaning when I go here. Weights left on bars or machines, paper towel on the floor along with empty water bottles at times. Equipment needs a little TLC. Havent been able to use the leg press in over a month(out of order) cable leg press is not the same.

I used to be a member of this gym in january but left because it was very dirty and the weights were thrown around. Im assuming it is under new management now because i came in last week and Devon helped me with my account and getting me back to my membership. The gym has had a 360 and was very clean to what i expected. Very friendly staff and i was even offered a free success Session. highly recommend.

Had to cancel membership because of back issues...have been trying since March to cancel. Finally after many times, got to cancel. Was told I would get a refund within 5 business days....still waiting for the refund!

Cancelled membership 12/2020.Charged each month since then.$29 taken out 1/2021, 2/2021, and 3/2021.Manager stated that I cancelled too late in December, so I would have to pay for the month of January. Now I have no membership, but am paying for one monthly, 3 months after it was cancelled.I hope they can fix this.

Probably the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been a member of. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Trash & weights are scattered everywhere, floors and bathrooms are disgusting. It’s honestly a health concern for its members. You can tell no money, time or effort gets re-invested back into the gym.

This gym is will screw you of money. My boyfriend set up a membership for me the only info they had from me was my name. I got a call from a collections agency saying I owed almost $200 in late fees when none of my card info or any other info for that matter was on the account my boyfriend was paying for it. I was never contacted about this problem or made aware in anyway I owed money.

This gym is filthy and needs some serious maintenance. It looks as though the gym has not been cleaned in months. Mirrors are dirty, trash everywhere, unsanitary bathrooms, dust and hair covers the floors and machines. This gym poses a serious health threat to its customers.

This gym is perfect if you want to workout past the usual times of other gyms. The staff is kind and courteous. The location is convenient and the equipment is full of variety.

Just started here this week, but loss of 3 stars cause I feel like Ive been a bit swindled. The gym and equipment is all nice and the workout was good for my first night. It was quiet and only a few people in there during the late hours I was up there, however there are some issues with the fees that have me feeling like I was completely swindled out of money. First off when you go to this gyms site, the main franchise site shows the set rates which are shared throughout all the different franchised out gyms. It also shows all promotions going on, with the usual offers may differ depending on location. Currently the main site is showing that you can start the Premium Membership for just 29.01 and just 29 dollars a month afterwards with no contract. Now when you select the Winston-Salem location it doesnt show ANYTHING under the Special Promotions section, yet when you go to sign up online for a membership it is at the same 29.01 due today and then 29 due each month with no contract.So when I went in and signed up in person, cause I wanted to see the gym before signing up, I was told the membership fee was 99 dollars and my total due at the signing up was 99+29 so 128 was charged onto my card. Now the 39 upcoming fee in 45 was explained to me as a yearly fee that helps the gym buy new equipment. But I cant for the life of me remember what the 99 dollar fee was outside of a standard membership fee. And I didnt think anything of it till I was told about 3 other gyms that were in the area that were a LOT cheaper to get into. All in all while this gym looks nice and is 24/7 it makes me want to cancel immediately due to finding out how I have been basically cheated out of near a hundred bucks by a fast talking salesman.Update 1:Spoke with the trainer to check on the information, seems theres a miss-communication between Corporate and the actual staff, dropped to 1 star cause it was the GM who signed me up, nothing further to do but take the loss of money and go to another gym.Update: 2Was told I would be getting a refund but have yet to see it from my bank or get any response from the GM or owner, only the trainer has responded to me.

Great location and gym with all of the necessary equipment for a good workout. They also offer a relaxing Hydro Massage relaxing those tense muscles and aches. The place is clean with fairly new modern equipment and changing rooms. Staff is helpful in explaining equipment function and most importantly greet you with a smile of appreciation. Josh is also a great addition as he can answer all of your workout questions. If youre looking for a great friendly gym I recommend Workout Anytime.

Fantastic gym experience. Very clean, organized and good to use equipment. Staff is also fantastic. You can tell they’re there to actually help people achieve their fitness goals and make the environment a pleasant one. Best gym I’ve been partners of in a while! Oh.. and being able to go 24/7 is great as well.

My finace and I have been going here for almost two years now. We chose this over a YMCA membership because of the 24/7 access and short distance to our home. We have never had a bad experience here! Staff are always super friendly and sociable.! The only thing is the month of January gets super crowded (like every other gym in the world) but with it being so small you just have to be careful about what time to go so you beat/miss the crowd. I love this gym. Its not overwhelming with to much equipment, it has the basics and 24/7 access. We love it here!

Great place to workout. The staff is helpful. They have plenty of machines and free weights. Its never overly busy. Perfect gym for people just starting out or seasoned gym rats.

To start, you can actually weightlift here - this isn’t Planet Fitness. Staff is friendly and helpful and the gym is clean. 4 stars because it’s a little cramped.A vast majority of the members clearly use the free weight area and most of the machines are barely ever used. So naturally the busiest part of the gym is the smallest and they have one squat rack and two benches. A billion different dumbbell benches (multiple copies of each), about 3 commonly used, clutter the free weight area.Way too small of an area for the actual section of the gym that is commonly used. Way too large of an area full of barely used machines. They need to honestly clear some of the space out to improve the section that is actually used.No issue with staff or cleanliness. I just wish they had paper towels instead of an air dryer in the bathroom.Overall, the gym does have all the equipment you need to weightlift. It’s also decently priced and they have discounts for first responders (fire, EMS, police) and military. They just need to clear out some of the space since they’ve tried to pack so much in it while still trying to get that Planet Fitness crowd.

This place seems to be in some new hands and let me tell yall...this place is on the GLOW UP. It is looking better and better every single day in there and nothing but positive vibes and new additions now. The music is upbeat and I can just tell the transformation is bearing its weight on the current members because as a whole everyone seems happier and has more pep in the step! KEEP IT UP!

Great gym! Ive been a member of PF as well as Golds and The RUSH.... This gym is by far the most accommodating. A great mix of machine and free weights and a wonderful mix of people of all walks on their fitness journey. The staff is solid, helpful, and always friendly.

These guys are trying to get your money fast as they can. Not accepting trials just expecting you to sign on and pay up with no knowledge of the place. They’re also wayyyyy overpriced when you consider what they don’t have when it comes to premium membership.

Go in and see what all has been done in this place. They’ve done so much already and just keep full steam ahead. It’s refreshing to workout in an atmosphere where it feels like people care again and makes you feel welcome. Things are cleaning up and so many new things have come in recently along with boot camp classes which my wife is thrilled about and secretly me too :) ! Go in and see what Josh is doing with this facility, it’s never looked better!

Why are you people complaining about anytime. Ive been I a lot of gyms coast to coast as I travel for work. I get a yearly membership to anytime for several reasons.1. They actually let you lift weights without judgment. Planet fitness will not!! They are the most judgmental fitness chain out there, and Ive never seen a free bar in planet, all bars are Smith machine, if you can get on one!2. They are moderately priced for what you get.3. The yearly membership is always a better deal in any gym.4. They are always clean, dependable setup no matter where Ive been, from California to Florida.5. Some of them will customize their gyms according to their clientele. Ive seen some set up for powerlifting!!.So with that said, you are walking into a fitness center that will be dependable and useful anywhere you go and truly judgement free.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. They were able to help me out with membership options to allow me to use the space during the time I was in Winston Salem. I appreciated the 7 day trial pass as well as it allowed me to check out the gym during different times of day/week to see how busy it was.

I enjoyed my visit to the Winston-Salem Workout Anytime facility.The gym itself was clean, logical, and stocked with a wide variety of current and well-maintained equipment. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The fee for my day pass was reasonable. The locker room and its shower were sanitary. Additionally, my use of the gym included, for free, a Hydromassage machine, which proved to be a delightful postscript to my workout. And, to top it all off, my day pass was good for a full twenty-four hours rather than just the weekday of its purchase, so that I was allowed to workout on it the next morning (though I ended up unable to take advantage of this). I can think of no negatives regarding my experience at this gym.So, a big thank-you to all associated with this outfit. I am grateful for your service.

I have enjoyed using this gym frequently. The staff is always friendly and everything is clean! They have a nice area for plyometrics and free weights. Overall I have enjoyed the equipment and feel safe here even at night.

If youre looking for somewhere to workout thats not as big as Planet Fitness and L.A. Fitness, but has your overall fitness goals in mind then this is the place to be. On top of that you can go 24 hours a day 365 days a year!

Well Ive been working out there for almost 2 years. Ive been taking my boyfriend as a guest for a couple of months, one of my friends too once in a while. When I first started the membership it had said I can bring a guest. The staff will see us come and go for those couple of months. Until monday, we get questioned by one of the staff members about our membership, I told him, my boyfriend is my guest, then he says we dont have a guest option in the membership and I said ooh ok, i thought It did, then he says if there is you cant bring him all the time. I got furious because I know he would see us almost everyday come and go and nothing would be said or questioned until now! And I know Ive seen many other people with a keycard and bring a guest. So I just told him to cancel my membership right now. The rules there make no sense when theres staff only until 8. Little do yall know anybody can go in after staff leave. One person can have a keycard and 5 people go in with them. If you dont want anymore problems like this, be more strict about it. But what i liked most about that gym was because it wasnt crazy strict like the other gyms are.

I found PLANET FITNESS had TVs that work and twice the amount, also PF has 2 HYDROMASSGE BEDS & 2 MASSAGE CHAIRS, THAT that you can use ANYTIME as much as you like or need! WOA has 1 bed and a free broken TVs, one shower, AND it COST MORE, PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP IS $25...PT PREMIUM IS $22...I just find it to be a better fit for me.

Lots of machines. Nice to have the tanning beds and hydro bed. But giving a poor rating due to the pushiness. I was comparing gyms and met with daisy here. She seemed nice but pushy. Saying we can sign you up now etc etc. Then I think his name was Josh came over and just a cocky person. Lets sign you up now if you leave you dont come back its your health etc. Not happening wont be joining here due to the staffs attitude.

It is clean. The staff are professional, helpful, and accommodating. Love the machines available for use and the 24 hrs flexibility.

Dont get me wrong as far as working out goes its a decent place to go and be able to focus on working out . but my issue with this place is of a magnitude that I MUST deter anyone reading this AWAY from this place . Ill make this long story really quick ... Got a membership in January 2018, lost my job early March 2018 so i canceled my membership in the end of March . 4 months later they charge my card $105 . so immediately I go into the branch and let them know my account should be cancelled where the juiced up bald guy that works there basically calls me a liar for not having sum kind of proof of receipt when there is NOT one given when u fill out the extremely short form to cancel your account . Then he acts as the owner of the business power of attorney and assures you that there are no refunds and that he knows EXACTLY what the owner would say . I attempted to get in contact with the owner and the furthest he would go was writing my name down on a sheet of paper(no results). Then last, he gets very disrespectful, and its ironic because Im here looking at the other reviews and its obvious Im not the only one who feels this way but hey, who reads reviews before its too late ? If you read this before dealing with this business just dont say I didnt warn you if it happens to you ...

Liked the gym but moved. Went in to cancel membership, he looked up my name and said ok its all canceled. Following month charged again for membership so i canceled my card. Six months later get a call from payment processing company that my membership was canceled, said they are going to sue me for last six months of nonpayment. Never signed paperwork, was on a month to month deal, or so i was told. Dont waste your time.

The worst music of any gym I have been to in the Winston Salem area. It is too slow to workout to. It is also extremely depressing along with curse words and suggestive language. You need upbeat music that motivates you!

Dont let the naysayers let you down, there is one in every crowd. If you want a clean nice gym with modern equipment, one that is not crowded, friendly trainers/owner, no loud grunters or people looking down on you if you are new to gym, friendly members (that are willing to help you); then you have to look no further. Ive had nothing but positive experience. even the personal trainers are great and helpful (and will work you for sure!)

No issues with the gym environment or equipment.When I went to sign up it seemed like a great family deal for $35 for my girlfriend and I. The gentleman I spoke with said I was signing recognizing gym procedures and for an autopay for the $35 monthly. There was no actual paperwork, just an electronic pad to sign for autopay which I have done with many merchants so I thought nothing of it.Fast forward three months and we decided to drop the membership because the place we moved to has a gym. We call and suddenly we find out we are in a year contract with this gym. When I call and speak to the exact guy that signed me up he flat out lies and says that Ive been doing this a long time, it is your opinion that I didnt explain it.Im a business major in a sales role, I deal with contracts on a daily basis and can assure you that no reputable business would blatantly hide terms in order to obtain a signature on a piece of paperwork that is meant to lock you into something that you arent aware of. I would highly caution against signing anything from this gym as it is only meant for them to try to get you to agree to terms that they do not make you aware of.It is unsettling that a company that has increased competition in the area has resorted to underhanded tactics instead of diversifying themselves competitively. I do not recommend doing business with this gym.

I was a member when workout anytime was $15 per month I cancelled my membership do to becoming pregnant after 8 months I decided to join gym again after price going up to $19 a month no problem I had went in to make a payment and asked the gentleman Chase if he can show me what machine I can use next time I come in to help in my stomach area from previous C-section he asked me how many times a week do I come in to work out I told him not often do to baby he told me I have to come in three times a week and be committed and if my man cant watch my baby 30 minutes to an hour then hes not deserved to be in my life and look at my naked body he never showed me what machine to use and I was embarrassed disrespected an older man and woman walked out the door with me and said he is quite the salesman isnt he being sarcastic so for that reason I wish I can write this gym 0 Stars and for that reason I cancelled my membership
