We loved this place! Today, the man doing my daughters nails moved her to the spot where you dry your nails to paint them so he could work with someone else. He constantly stopped while doing her nails to assist others. The nails were messed up. The girl he sent to fix them had an attitude. Very different experience today. No offer for a beverage( which is customary) The girl doing my pedicure acted as if she wanted to be somewhere else! She talked the most when it was time to pay the bill. We usually tip $10-$20. You get nothing today!

Always such a great experience! My fave is Ken 😁 but even when he is unavailable the other techs are so sweet and really make you feel special. They all take their time and make sure you are happy with your service!

I went to this salon for the first time today and I am very pleased with my experience. They finished up my pedicure and my nails in a little under two hours, which I was happy about as I hate to be stuck in the salon chair for too long. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them and I’ll definitely be returning

First of all I want to say that I have been going here since they first opened up. I was a loyal customer and was always satisfied. And I understand that mistakes happen but honestly this place has consistently declined. Even after everything opened back up from Covid shut downs I never had a complaint. The past few months have been terrible. It was honestly better when everything opens back up. There is a gentleman and his wife that work here or perhaps on the place… His wife is very rude and I notice he pushes all of the longtime customers to her… But there’s a problem with that. She’s very rude, she thinks she’s too good to touch anybody or to be nice, she is easily frustrated. And her job is terrible. Don’t even waste your money getting a pedicure from her… She thinks she’s too good to touch peoples feet. My nails constantly lift and break. I’ve given several chances and they keep sticking me in her chair and it’s not exactly easy to tell the owner or the boss that you don’t want his wife as your tech.So basically the last half dozen times I’ve given a chance to her and this place and I won’t be going back again.

Every time I’ve come here I have been extremely satisfied. The staff is nice and does a fantastic job. The salon is usually full, so I would suggest making an appointment if possible.

I’ve been thinking about posting about my experience here because I never review and always try to help local business’ but I can’t seem to shake how negative it really was. I went in on the morning of August 2nd, I had an appointment at 9:30 and got there on time. They seemed very scattered.I sat down and explained that I never get my nails done but it was a special occasion since it was an activity I only did with my mother who recently passed whose memorial I was getting ready for. I made an appointment for a pedicure, manicure and eyebrows, hoping for a calming nice experience it was not even close to that. They asked if they could do my manicure pedicure at the same time I said that was fine. The entire time the two woman were very very loudly and clearly speaking about the clients, and even look at me and said “she says she’s too skinny and you’re just skin and bones so it’s hard to massage your legs” as someone who suffers anxiety and is dealing with the loss of a mother even the act of going out and getting my nails done is a big thing. There was CONSTANT loud conversation the entire time and multiple comments on my weight. I felt like a burden and no where near comfortable. I couldn’t relax due to their rude comments and chatter and ended up speaking to a woman getting her nails done as well. I was told to stop talking, my hands were yanked and that it was my fault she “couldn’t make them look pretty” it was an incredibly awful experience and I wish I could take every cent of the $139 I spent there back.

I called while I was pulling into the parking lot and they said there was no wait! I was welcomed warmly and offered something to drink... There was no wait to sit down, I had a gel fill-in and cut down and they were very gental and did an amazing job! My nails are beautiful and the exact length I needed!!! Very happy with the service I received and competitively prices too! :) Also very clean and gorgeous salon :) I will be back again!!

After another nail salon turned me away 2.5 hours before closing, Grand Nails Salon accepted me as a walk in 55 minutes before closing. They were relatively busy too. Quick and friendly service. I got the salt scrub pedi. The best part was the warm, scented towel wrap. Will definitely return.

Spent way too much for a fill and pedicure, the tech didnt understand anything I was saying and wouldnt get another employee to explain. She just continued and ignored me. Its well set up like a high end salon, but the service isnt the best.

Very clean. I did not have an appointment but the were able to get to me in a timely manner. Very sweet nail tech did my pedicure and manicure. I had regular polish on my toes and they easily matched gel polish for my fingers nails. I’ve had a lot of compliments on the color of my nails. I would recommend this nail salon/spa to anyone. 💜

The gentleman who did my pedi took extra time and corrected some things from a previous pedi elsewhere. He took time to talk to me and explain what he was doing. I needed a fill-in from a not so great set i had from another place.1 The gentleman who took care of my feelin was just as nice and kind and took his time as well. I had very rough, dry heels and told the lady doing the pedicure I needed attention specifically to that area. She “went to town” getting all the dry skin off. I’m super happy to have soft(er) feet.

I love this place! It has comfortable seating, pleasant employees, atmosphere was very zen with the waterfall wall. This is my new nail salon.

If I could rate it with no stars I would. My husband and I are loyal customers that come every two to three weeks. We had an appointment at 3 pm. They quickly sat us. They started on us for maybe 2 minutes. I had gel color so it had to be removed. I sat maybe 15 minutes before someone came back, but was quickly whisked away because someone else was waiting longer than us. It’s 3:50 by this time and my water was ice cold. I was livid. Mind you two people that came in after us was already being serviced. I told them to forget it because I’m not sitting in the cold water any longer. No apology or anything. Never again!

When I walked in a was greeted immediately. I came with a girlfriend of mine and we both were very pleased with the atmosphere, vibes, service. And the offer wine 🙏🏽❤️. Prices are very reasonable and quality of work was impressive. This is now my go to nail bar ☺️

I asked to have my acrylic nails taken off. If youve had acrylic nails, you know how tedious the process is, and how gentle you have to be with your nails after taking them off. My acrylic nails were most literally cut then ripped off with cuticle cutters. It was so painful because of the glue adhering the acryclic to my nails. If he wasnt able to get most of it off, he used plastic nails (the ones you use for acrylic nails.) to dig underneath the remainder of my acrylic to get them off. I was wincing in pain the entire time. I will absolutely never go here again. I had a positive experience before; but this was just plain unprofessional and rude. Please dont go here.

Best nail salon ever! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and also offer soda. They do a great job on eyebrow waxing too. I get the dip on Ken’s suggestion and the change from acrylic gel has been so much better for my nails and last so much longer too. Go see Leelee or Ken! They are amazing.

I can put up with anything, but poor quality and lying about a service not provided is a whole problem for me. Not only did my daughters acrylic nails begin to chip the same day, but they lied and charged me “special shape” when there was no special shape done. She had a basic square, nothing more. The nails turned yellow by day 6 and are falling off. The place is too expensive for this terrible quality of work. The guy was rude on top of it. Save your time and money.

This was my first visit, and let me say that it will not be my last. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The service was one of the best that Ive ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and coworkers.

The nail tech was pleasant but extremely hurried. She “completed” both my manicure and a pedicure in 35 minutes. The pedicure is ok but she did not understand what I wanted her to do with my nails. I left very dissatisfied with the entire experience. It was my first and last time there.

First time here was a week ago. My nails were done with gel Monday, by Wednesday they were chipping. I went in and told the, they said they’d hook me up...45$ later I said “that’s ok I’ll write a review and u won’t get my business again or ladies I know” SMDH Remind you again..I went in Monday to get them done, and these pictures were take. Wednesday...3 DAYS LATER!

I was a first time walk-in, asked to come back in 1/2 hr so walked around the area - came back and had a very good pedicure. Good equipment, beautiful salon and helpful staff. I will definitely come back!

The experience wasn’t horrible but I will not be going back and I will advise my friends it’s not worth it as well. I had two colors picked out and another employee came and took the color book before I could see the numbers of them and they acted like I was so high maintenance for wanting those specific colors. I got a simple design and it is in no way symmetrical I even tried to bring it up and she fixed one of them but not without making it seem like the biggest inconvenience ever. I asked to see an itemized receipt and he acted like that was the rudest request ever? On top of that they nickel and dime you, I was charged for coffin shape but I just went in for a fill-in so my nails were already in coffin shape all they had to do is touch it up slightly. Also a $5 service charge?

I LOVE this salon! I was looking for a new salon, and I was looking to get my nails done on a Sunday. This salon was one of the few that were open, so I decided to take a leap! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smiley young lady at the front desk! This place is so big, beautiful, and well, GRAND! Just like in the name. The music that was playing as upbeat, but also relaxing. Tony took care of me, and he made sure I liked everything! I got the Sugar Scrub Pedi (HIGHLY recommend, it was amazing) & a Gel Mani. The colors were perfect and he took his time. I absolutely will be back and will NOT go any where else now! Thank you Tony!!!!!

I love getting my nails done here and they always come out great!The last time I was there I notice that one of the lady that sit up front was offering neck massages,I believe her name was Jenny. She persuade me that for 10min it’s only going to cost me 15$, why not right? ... honestly, I wished I didn’t cave. After the neck massage though it felt nice, my back and shoulder was very sore. The way I was sitting on the chair was not meant for a neck and shoulder massage that you see at massage parlor. I had to go back to my physical therapist to have her tell me that whoever gave me the massage last, was using the wrong technique which causes my neck and shoulder tissue to be sprained. Honestly going to the salon is nice to get your feet rub and nails done, but I wonder if they are licensed massage therapist. Since she’s just offering it on the spot with no correct equipment. Just letting you all know, before you end up like me, spending more money to get it feel better and done right.

I always do dip powder and they offer an incredibly extensive selection of colors and styles - more than other salons around town. “Jenny From the Block” is my go-to girl, she’s absolutely amazing with nails and I’m always pleased and excited to get my nails done by her. She’s funny, nice, very professional and her shaping skills are unmatched! I’m always completely satisfied when she’s finished with my nails! Grand Nails offers a fun, relaxing and pleasurable experience every time I go!

I made an appointment late in the evening for myself and 7 other girls to get ready for my wedding. The employees took SUCH good care of us! They had our pedicure stations ready and already filled with water when we arrived, offered wine and snacks, and joked with us the whole time we were there. They had all of us finished in less than an hour and a half and all of our nails looked perfect. Can’t thank them enough for such a fun and easy experience!

Although the staff was friendly enough, I was upcharged for a simple fill-in and had to pay a “COVID fee”. Businesses around the world are adapting to life in a pandemic, and don’t charge their customers, I don’t see why we have to pay 5$.Also, my 60$ fill-ins broke and chipped only 3 days after getting them done. If you value your money and time, go somewhere else.

Beautiful, clean nail salon in Wilmington with a ton of colors to choose from. The staff was very friendly but the prices were a bit on the high end. I went in for an acrylic fill and was charged $38. They did use a gel polish so that was nice but I just feel like it was a bit much for just a fill.

I highly recommend this place for a number of reasons. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. You get the GRAND treatment here. They line their pedi stations and use new, unused tools. They offer wine or water while you are getting your nails or toes done. They have a wide variety of polish options from gel to regular and tons of colors. They were very gentle and did an amazing job. I will definitely be returning.

I went here once to get a mani/pedi. The place I normally go to was closed and I had an event to go to. My nails came out ok, but I was upset when they had to switch nail techs because not everyone knows how to do acrylic. When it came to the pedicure I had gel polish from a previous pedicure and instead of using an e-drill to get it off the tech started to peel the polish off of my toe nails. I made her stop and use the e-drill. If you don’t know what you’re doing you shouldn’t be working there. I’ve never gone back!

Ive been to this salon twice. The first time was for just a basic pedicure. Considering how much I paid for it, I would have expected it to last longer. After just a few days I already had my polish chipping. Against my better judgement, I decided to try again for my nails. After just two days they started to peel off. When I returned to get them fixed, I had to fight for them to do anything about it. I will never go back to this place. There are much better nail salons in Wilmington who way better and have amazing customer service. Do not recommend

ZERO STARSMANY problems at this nail salon . Two other people complaining of high prices and their nails chipped off TWO days after getting them done . Also staff is quite rude. Maybe because they over book and are constantly rushing to get to the next person. I will never pay 60.00 to get a fill again. prices are a little high for poor quality. right down the road is a way more affordable nail place. They dont overbook or make you feel rushed. NO THANKS

I went here last night for a full set and pedicure, I called before coming since they closed at 8 and didn’t get there till after 6 to make sure it was okay. The guy who answered the phone was super nice and informed him I struggle with going to places that are crowded due to my anxiety, he assured me he would accommodate me and make me feel comfortable and they did! The lady who did my nails was Tammy and she was great! I’m so glad I went to this salon and will be visiting here from now on! I found my nail place!

I’m usually not the type to put up reviews, but I’ve had enough with this. I’ve been going to grand nails since the beginning and I know their services are very on point. Prices here are a bit more, so I expect quality work and customer services. Lately I haven’t see it. Been back twice now and it seems their model have change. It’s more of a quick in and out service you be getting at other regular salons. My technician is very sweet and young but she is very fast pace. My nails doesn’t come out as long lasting and flush like they usually does, and I’ve been walking out with my nail bed being very sore. I have hopes that this salon will go back how they used to be, or maybe new management or team? But until then, I’m not sure if I would go back. Doesn’t seem to worth my time and money here.

Went to this grand nails this past weekend and I’m not please with the results that I’ve receive. The atmosphere seems like a sweat shop, pumping customers in and out. That’s probably why My nails look horrendous! I left with sore nail beds, uncut cuticles and just a sloppy work. The time I was there, I notice the manager doesn’t look like he was tentative, more like wandering around and having side comments. Not professional at all, if he at least pay attention maybe I would’ve got out with better results. The staff is nice, kept offering me drinks, but the service did not hold up. For an upscale salons I expect more here. Take your money elsewhere, grand nails won’t cut it.

The environment was okay but they dont know how to do any designs freestyle I had my daughter get a mood changing which didnt change it stays purple plus the man could not stay sitting in his seat he just kept getting up on his phone outside while the customer is sitting in his chair so unprofessional

I have been on the search for a good nail salon for two years now, and my prayers have been answered and I have been blessed. HANDS DOWN the best service I have received in maybe ever, and I’m somewhat a picky person. For your first visit I would ask for Jenny (from the block, so funny it’s on her name tag) she’s funny, talks to you, not to mention the complimentary wine and drinks. Gives wonderful thorough massages, genuinely cares about you and what you are paying for. I asked to take her home with me but I guess I’ll leave her for the rest of the world to enjoy. Highlyyyy recommend and I will be telling everyone I come in contact with for the next month about my experience here. Thank you!

Always went to Kim and she was great. She was out. They set me up with a very young girl who I’m not sure if she was even licensed. Went for express pedicure. I asked for warmer water, never got.Asked her to trim more-not enough. Filing was terrible and not adequate. I was there with her for 40 minutes and she was only half done. The gal next to me got the upgraded pedicure and was done. I couldn’t sit there any longer. I left,paid, I told them how unhappy I was - oh sorry they said. I went to another salon and had a pedicure that was done perfectly!Called that afternoon and was told to call manager next day. Called manager next day and requested my money back - she told me to come BACK to the store and would give me a coupon for 1/2 off because I didn’t tell them when I left.I said I did tell them I was unhappy and NO I will never return.The manager does not have properly trained people in there - it is her fault and she should not be a manager.
