Called to check availability. Got rude tones and it seemed they didn’t want my business. Would never go there just for simple fact they had a very bad attitude when I was just trying to schedule something and then they proceeded to hang up on me before we closed the conversation. The rudeness came from my daughter speaking in the background. So terrible.

Shari did such an amazing job with my haircut! Im relatively new to the area and was nervous about finding a new stylist. I described what I was looking for and showed her a couple of photos. I closed my eyes and let the experience take me. Not only was it a great cut, but it was soothing and relaxing. The products she used smelled so good.. it was therapeutic. I also loved the way she styled my hair... I got lots of compliments. She is very courteous, skilled and talented!

Tamara is awesome and does a great job with color and cut, the shampoos with massage are so great, puts me in a happy coma! The hair color and other products they use make your hair so vibrant and shiny. Its also good to the hair. The salon itself is very nice, lots of natural light and nicely decorated. This place and Tamara especially are highly recommended. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and everyone who I have seen come in, always leaves looking FABULOUS.....

Marilyn has created a hairstyle for me that I LOVE. My hair looks and feels wonderful ever since Marilyn started cutting and styling it. Marilyn helped me recover from previous hairstylists disastrous really short hair cuts. She has vision and skill and she is a kind caring person, too. Marilyn is a perfect choice for looking your best so call her!

Marilyn was amaaaazing. I have thick hair thats thick stranded. I have been hunting, HUNTING for someone to cut my pixie properly, so that I dont have to wear a hat to take the volume out of it.She took her time, listened to me, specifically asked me to touch and feel it as she worked section by section. Will definitely visit next time Im in the state. Seriously, she did an amazing job.

This place is wonderful! They have great prices compared to the other Wilmington salons and they are very welcoming. They were extremely friendly and I felt like it was not my first time going there! I loved it and I will recommend it to my friends!

Stephanie did SUCH an amazing job on my hair. Ive had the same person cutting my hair for years and I was really nervous having someone new cut it! She took her time and was incredibly nice. And my hair looks incredible! I will definitely recommend her to all of my guy friends. She was great!!

Moved to Wilmington in August and have been looking for a good hair salon since. Tried out this place and it was amazing. Shari is so outgoing and friendly and did a great job!

I got my hair washed, cut, and styled by Sarah and I loved it! She was so sweet and nice, I had a lot of questions about my hair and how to make it healthier and she answered all my questions. Ive been here a couple times and its always been clean and Ive always been greeted kindly. Would recommend the hair services as well as the tanning beds, noticed color on my first visit.

This was my first time going to this salon. I have to say it had a clean environment and very nice people! However, when I got my hair washed there was no hot water. So everything was done in cold water. Also I got a permanent color for all my hair and some how my front edges were missed. For what I paid. I am not satisfied.

Shari keep me up to date with the latest mens cuts. I would hightly suggest this salon to everyone. Their product selection is outstanding. As a plus you get a free tanning session with every service.

I went to SolarHair to purchase a package for a month of tanning and for the entire month I visited the salon, I could never understand why the employees lacked so much professionalism. Every time I went, who ever was sitting at the front desk just stared at me when I walked in the door. No, Hi, how are you? How can I help you?, nothing. There was only ever one girl; she has the second booth on the left when you walk in, that always smiled and greeted me when I came in and thanked me as I left. Even who I think was the owner, lacked customer service skills and often was eating his dinner at the front desk. However, they were accommodating at times and allowed me to pause my package for a week while I was out of town, which I was very appreciative of, but other than that, I really did not enjoy this salon as much considering it was a little more expensive than others in the area.

It had been awhile since I had had my hair done and TRUELY loved it so in asking around I was referred to Marsha by a friend. I get my hair cut and colored and typically do something a little edgy but still professional. Marsha was very laid back as is the salon which I like. I didnt give her much intruction and let her do her own thing and my hair turned out GREAT! Plus the price was WONDERFUL! Being a mom of 3 I cannot be spending $150+ for a hair cut so I really appreciate a salon where you can get a great hairstyle for not an outrageous price. Plus you can tan while you are there if that suits your fancy. I will say if you are looking for a fancy posh overpriced salon this is not the place for you. If you want a great hairstyle at a friendly real people salon for a great price go see Marsha :-)

SolarHair Salon carries the finest quality products available and its staff is highly qualified. Im am so sorry that fake reviewers such as Olivia Preston who has never been to SolarHair Salon for any service of any kind, but works at a local competitor, feel the need to leave fake reviews.

Awful. My husband got a hair cut here on Tuesday this week and it looks like a 90s bowl cut. Yuck. Not on trend at all for Mens haircuts. wouldnt recommend.

Walk Ins NOT WELCOME. Last week I walked in for a hair cut and they told me to come back the following day as they were short on staff. I came back a week later and one of the hair dressers was sitting at the front desk. I told her I was looking for a cut and she looked into the computer and told me to come back in 3 and a half hours, that they only had 2 people and couldnt get me in. I left and she continued to sit at the front desk and do nothing.... I guess she didnt want to work today?
