He went to take my nail polish off and tore off my pinky nail entirely. Also left a huge bloody gash and it is very painful. I had to leave because I didnt trust him with the metal rotary tool again. I literally screamed from shock in the nail salon when it happened and everyone looked over and stared. Probably the worst experience ever. I dont think I will ever trust a nail salon with dip powder again. He didnt even apologize or apply antibacterial, just wrapped it in tin foil?? Horrific

Snow was great and very patient with me. The manager there was funny too. Will be my nail salon from this point on! I got the sugar scrub pedicure and acrylic nails.Update: Went back to get my wedding nails done and I didn’t like the pink ombré. The day after getting my nails done, the nails already needed a fill-in. My nails were crooked but the coffin shaped looked for round at the top on a few fingers. I made a appointment for Lynn (second time) and never had her as a nail technician. Unfortunately, I have to go to another nail salon.

This is my second time coming to envy nails salon. I received a birthday coupon which I used. It was unexpected but very welcome. I will be a regular. The staff is very warm and the massage chairs are the best!!

Came with a full set LCN nail and all I needed was a refill. They charged me 50 dollars for a refill and a coat of gel polish. I am very upset. How can you get a refill and not get new polish. So the man pretty much just made sure he got a tip which I was going to tip anyways. The refill was 35 and a coat of paint was 15. The guy who did it was sweet but I will never come back.

I am new to the Wilmington area from Atlanta! Finding new businesses is not easy! I had my first experience at th Independence Mall salon and was very disappointed to say the least! While working out at Planet Fitness I inquired if anybody could recommend a good professional nail salon! A girl named Laura suggested I go to Envy Nails and have Lauren do my nails! She said, “Lauren is the best nail technician in Wilmington!” I immediately booked an appointment with Lauren and am so happy I did! First of all, Envy Nails is a beautiful, CLEAN salon! Lauren greeted me with a smile and a bottle of water! She Listened to me, suggested a beautiful color, treated me like a Queen and my nails are exactly what I wanted! Look no further than Lauren at Envy Nails! One thing I would suggest strongly to the owners is that they require all their workers to wear masks! The men were the ones without masks! This made me uncomfortable! Thank you Lauren! As long as I reside in Wilmington, you will be my nail person! Thanks for making my day!

We called for 2 spur of the moment pedicures. Q took our call and was able to accommodate us immediately. Our pedicures were excellent. Q and Van offered us drinks and gave us excellent pedicures. A side bonus was Q’s fantastic sense of humor. We really enjoyed the experience!

Im so disappointed in this salon. Ive been a customer off and on for years but had a bad experience this time. (The name changed in the last year or so, but I assumed it was the same business.) I received the gel manicure 10 days ago. Normally, a gel manicure lasts me a good month and the polish stays on really well and Ive never had a problem. This time the polish on several of the nails was peeling off, so I went in to see if they could fix it. The person I spoke to said the gel should last 2-3 weeks ( but guaranteed for 10-14 days) and to come back in 30 minutes to make it right. When I returned another person did my nails. She was pretty rude and gave me a really hard time about how long they guarantee and seemed really upset that I was asking for it to be fixed. I dont know what I did wrong, because I was within the guarantee time. Honestly, it didnt look right from the time I got the manicure and I should have said something then. There are other nail salons nearby so I am sad to say Ill go somewhere else next time. They did fix the problem but they were very rude about it.

I had an amazing experience today! I was able to be served when I walked and I was greeted happily by the employees. I had an amazing nail tech, I believe her name was Heidi. This is my second visit and I felt like they cared about my happiness with the visit and paid close attention to details! I would highly recommend!!

I need to know the owners name! I have tried almost every nail salon in Wilmington and the tool they use to take off the polish and all that always burns me. Everyone burns my cuticles and they are rough. I had the owner do my nails. She was friendly and did the best job! I like white nails but they always turn a little yellow and I don’t smoke or wear makeup. She assured me because of the high quality products, the white would last. It did!!! But when I came back, she wasn’t there and the man that did my nails burned 5 of my fingers over and over then while they where on fire he wiped some alcohol based something across them and it hurt so bad I was trying to blow on them. The polish was uneven and I am so bummed. I keep calling to make an appointment with the owner but no one will give me her name. Can someone please tell me her name so I can make an appointment with her. I thought I had found the perfect place. She is the best!

I visited Envy Nails for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! The entire staff was friendly and Q did an awesome job with my gel manicure. He was patient and made sure that I was satisfied with the shape/color/etc.- I appreciate his attention to detail greatly. Ill definitely be back for another visit soon!

I love love this place my first time coming here and everyone was very pleasant and professional. I was able to walk right in on a busy Saturday evening. They take up time with you accommodate you very well. Made my feet feel so good in the milk and honey bath. I will be back and I recommend anyone to come.

Quick trip up the Charleston to get out of town and found Envy! Please open a location in Charleston! The space is well appointed and very clean, solid nail selection, and generous selection for services. I came in with no appointment and they were happy to accommodate me. I did the honey pedicure and it was awesome! Q did an amazing job. Everyone is super friendly. I will certainly be back when I am in town next. Go!

Got my nails done last week on Saturday. By this Saturday they were popping off. They were not great quality to begin with but I wasnt going to say anything. When they started popping off I decided to call and ask them to fix it. Amy replaced my set and did an awesome job. If I can figure out how to attach pictures I will. This was my favorite salon since the beginning because it’s calming, clean and had professional techs. I’m not sure if they’re under new management/ownership but the one guy with the many tattoos was extremely unprofessional. His arrogance made such an awkward and overall bad visit. He spoke with a nasty tone and displayed a mellow dramatic attitude. And to top it off, his skills are LESS THAN AVERAGE. My nails are elongated and unevenly shaped. I wish I would’ve gotten his name but I did not want to engage him any further because he’s a straight turn off. The one pleasant gentleman asked me if I had liquid gel. I told his yes, although I had acrylic. I honestly misunderstood him thinking he was asking if I had gel polish, in which I did. The arrogant nail tech filled me with gel and when I told him he got upset, said my nails wouldn’t last (they will because I’ve had gel over acrylic plenty times before) and spoke to me condescendingly while telling me I lied and I didn’t know the difference. He nagged me about this at least 3 times. He even got mad when I decided on a change of color BEFORE he began polishing. This fool tried to match my toe color with my hand and failed miserably. I have pastel peach hands and fluorescent orange feet. I can continue on how he made my visit miserable but I’d just end it now as well as my visits to this salon. It’s sad how one person changes the rep of the entire salon. Again, this was by far an amazing salon at one point. UPDATE: HIS NAME IS SNOW. Get him out of there!

I didn’t know what shape I wanted and she recommended almond shape which I was really happy with. She let me relax.. wasn’t overbearing with conversation.. and with a job like mine.. and most of you.. nail time is “me” time. I’ve honestly never loved the finish product more and I get my nails done monthly. GO HERE AND ASK FOR LYNN.

This place is the best, have always had great experiences there but today had one of the best pedicures and manicures, the foot/leg/hand massage was so relaxing and my toes and hands look ~*amazing*~! I will definitely be back!

Disappointed. Paint job was not good, and I got to the car and realized I only had clear coat on 3/4 of each big toe. Each toenail was a different shape, and some not filed smoothly. I went in and it was addressed, but the painting was still not great and DRILL WAS USED ON MY TOES. In addition cuticles we’re not trimmed, I had dry/partially exfoliated skin on my feet when I left. I had the hot stone pedicure and the massage was only a minute or two after the after the stones, and it hurt. The salon itself was clean and very nice. My mother enjoyed her pedicure and was happy with the paint job, my stepfather has also enjoyed a pedicure. Hopefully this was just an off day.

I live in Raleigh & am visiting the area with my 3 year old daughter and we decided to get pedicures. The staff was friendly, professional, and really interactive. They even had a cupcake for her at the end of her pedi. The salon was incredibly clean as well. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Wilmington.

If I am paying you for a service or if I am paying you to do a job, then it shouldnt matter if I am particular about my nails. If I tell you that the drill hurts and it feels uncomfortable, then you as nail tech should respect what Im feeling and how I am feeling. I dont care how long Mr.Snow has been a nail tech, he came off as a bit condescending. I went to this nail salon four or five times and each time I went I got someone new. Which is problem for me because I like personable customer service. What is the point of signing in when I get a new nail tech everytime? It is not like they will remember me. Any discounts or offers ($5 off your next visit) they MIGHT offer is not appealing when a person can easily drop $100 or more on mani and pedi. What is the point of making an appointment when they will fit you in with anybody at any time? I want someone to remember me and know what I like. The best nail tech in that salon was a female and did the best powder ombre nail set. She did hurt me with the drill. She also pried the old set of my acrylics with a nail tip. That was excruciatingly painful. There is a healthy way of removing tips and acrylics and that did not happen. My issue is with Mr. Snow (bald head with glasses). You dont treat customers like they are bother and a inconvenience. For the first time I felt like I was not appreciated or welcomed. I will not return. Ive spent a combined amount of about $600 in my four/five visits to this nail salon.

I had two people help me, I originally came in for a fill in for a set I had gotten somewhere else and want happy with. Lauren helped me and made them look even better than before, and exactly how I had wanted them in the first place. They were all very kind to me and my friends I had a great time and will come back

Was charged for 3 different services!! Pedi, then mani lady asked me if I wanted gel polish and I said can I have LCN. Well she doesnt do that type of nail care, so I had to go sit with another person. Then while in the middle of doing my nails the guy asked me was I confused and I would be charged for 3 servuces. Why is manicure a part of any service. When I was paying asked for a receipt and he couldnt do that. But a receipt of my charges for pedi was given to me by other person. Will definitely not be going back.

This used to be my go to place for gel mani and pedi but I went here for first time and got dip. I just got them done Friday, Saturday went back to get my thumb repaired due to a huge crack. She didnt even take all the color off just half fixed it and now theres a huge difference. And now I have 2 other nails cracking, 4 days later. I paid way too much money for this to happen. I have never had issue with dips . And the same lady who did my nails did my pedi and barely rubbed/massaged my legs or feet. Im unfortunately back in GA for work and cant go and get them fixed. Not sure if Ill go back and if I do Ill ask for a different person. But makes me concerned it might be the way they do dip. My sister had a great experience with a really funny gentleman!

Came in for a regular manicure. We were told to sit down at a table and then told to move a minute later. The nail tech who worked on me came in from a smoke break and got mad at the other nail tech who had moved us. They had a verbal altercation in front of us and then he sat down to do my nails and reeked of cigarettes. In the middle of my manicure, he asked me to look up something on HIS phone for the DMV, super unprofessional for a service I paid for. Nails werent great either. There was polish on my skin and my nails had bubbles in them the next day.Only upside was my friend got a gel manicure and Lynn did her nails and was very sweet and did a great job. I think I just got a bad nail tech. I definitely wont come back.

I came into this new location to have Julie do my nail dip and pedicure. She’s such a great technician that I’d follow her anywhere. If you have her do a pedicure I’d suggest the extra massage time. Her massages are amazing. They have a wide selection of colors and brands of polish. There isn’t anything you can’t find. Ly is also another great technician. He was at the door to welcome me in. He offered me a drink immediately. Let’s not forget to mention Q! He books all my appointments. I can always count on him to get me the times I need. The place is clean, bright and has such a relaxing feel. I recommend this location.

The absolute best nail salon I’ve been to! I will honestly never go to another place in Wilmington. All of the techs were meticulous - they took their time and took pride in their work. The presentation was amazing. For the pedicure, they brought out all their tools on a bamboo tray with different compartments - including a lime wedge to rub on my toenails! The conversation was amazing, the skill work was amazing. The facility was impeccably clean. The color choices were amazing. Honestly, I could go on and on. I’d give them 6 stars if I could!! I walked in and immediately was blown away by the absolutely beautiful salon. Then the staff was beyond pleasant and nice despite being busy. Other customers came in and would be waiting 30+ minutes and the staff offered to make them an appointment instead of them waiting. The quality of the pedicure and Manicure I received was unreal. I had the sugar scrub pedicure and a set of full acrylics put on for a wedding and it is the first time I’ve enjoyed getting my nails done. I just kept looking around wide eyed because of how beautiful the salon is and how clean! I will definitely start getting my nails done here regularly

Every tome I go in and get a mani/pedi or pedi, the experience is fantastic. I have yet to have a bad service. Q and Amy are amazing but book up quickly. I have the best pedicure - CBD gold Volcano. Holly is fantastic!! She may not be available, but if she is, grab her and enjoy the services. She is amazing and personable. As an owner of Salons, she’s got the 💯 personal touch. I can’t recommend enough Envy Nails at Mayfaire.

The Guy Snow was very Rude and my nails looked like very poor when completed if there had not been others waiting they would have done them over or no payment, iwill never go back and will never refer anyone there then all I got was a fill in and they tried charging me for a full st, and a kids polihshachnge no other services was 25.00 .never again. It was not a good experience.

The nail technician by the name of snow yelled at me for the mistake he made and whenever I looked at my nails as they were drying he said if you mess your nails up I’m not fixing them with a very loud aggressive tone.As he was doing my nails he messed one thing up the polish came off my nails a little bit and he threw a tantrum.He made me overpay for my nails and made me pay for stuff that I did not want and did not approve of he was very rude and it made me uncomfortable to even be in the salons

I always get the best service here. They are so professional and take pride in their work. I use one tech for my nails (Ly) but have had multiple techs take care of my pedicures and they never disappoint. I refuse to go anywhere else. I always make sure I have an appointment and Im always helped right on time! I never feel like they are rushing to get me out, they all take their time. The music and atmosphere is great! Went to the on Saturday, August 29th for the first time. The location is easy to get into and the atmosphere is calming. The lady that did my nails, Julie, took her time and did one of the best jobs on my nails that I’ve had done. All the staff were friendly and seem to be keeping their workspace clean, which is nice to see these days. I will definitely be returning to Envy Nails in the near future.
