Thee best nail technician and nail artist Ive ever been too. TAHRA is a beast & takes her craft very serious. TAHRA is no non-sense but I can appreciate that. TAHRA gives you one hour attention on your feet. Artistry Salon Studio is a black owned professional establishment. I will not let another nail technician/artist touch my hands or feet because TAHRA has shown me what my nails should have always looked like at the end of a service.

I first came to the salon back in 2015 a couple times, loved the work Tahra did as she specialized in doing natural nails. I was a little off put by her personality however, as she is not very personable and her tone is a little off when speaking to customers. Due to her energy coming off as cold, I decided to go elsewhere as I like to be around positive, happy energy-especially when I’m paying for a service. Most recently, I made the mistake of ignoring my intuition and came back to the salon last month. The only reason I came back was because she hired another nail tech, Yami who ended up being awesome and very friendly. The only reason I am giving one star is because my most recent appointment was not scheduled until sept 17th and due to me having car issues I decided to cancel it today (sept 9th), a week and a day before the appointment. Well when I called to cancel, I was met with what I like to call a nice -nasty tone from Tahra, saying no problem when I stated I needed to cancel. Right after, I asked how long it would take for the $45 deposit to return to my acct and she stated “all deposits are non-refundable, thank you” and abruptly hung up. Now I understand that when a customer cancels last minute it is totally inconvenient to business owners, however, she had exactly a week and a day to have someone else take the spot and I shouldn’t have to pay for that. Also, it does not say anything about the deposit being non-refundable on the receipt, so I had no clue until she told me rudely over the phone. Someone needs to let her know that just because you aren’t using profanities or being loud when you speak doesn’t mean that people can’t hear your nasty undertone in your voice. This review has nothing to do with the other tech Yami who I was scheduled with, I would actually go back to Yami if she opens her own shop, again she was perfect!

I do not usually like getting gel nail polish because for me, they never last that long (maybe 2 weeks). When I explained that to the owner, she guaranteed her work would last a month. I had do give it a try. She stands by her word and it certainly did last that long. My second visit was just slightly disappointing in that it lasted slightly under a month; but I was still pleased. The decor is wonderful. The vibe in the salon is friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone needing their nails done to ask for her. I have two areas of concern: 1) If the cost is going to be higher than what was quoted, please inform the client before you complete the job; and 2) continue to train your staff to be just as good as you. You are just one person with a growing following and I want you to succeed.

LOVE IT!!! Artistry offers 5 star service and quality work consistently!! I am never disappointed!! I travel to DE from NJ for the total experience at Artistry Salon Studio, the 45 minute commute is definitely worth while. I receive gel manicure services. After weeks my stones are still in place, my polish has not chipped, and most importantly under the gel polish my natural nails are HEALTHY and STRONG!! I am going on four weeks today, from my last service. My designs and stones still look fresh, if it werent for the new nail growth I am sure I could go another four weeks!! Until Artistry expands to the NJ/Philly area I will continue to travel 295, yes, just to get my nails done ... The Artistry Salon Studio Experience!!

This is a top notch salon !! I went to Anita she was friendly, caring and above all an amazing hair stylist, that is very in tune with her clients wants and needs. I couldnt recommend her more!! I promise you will leave a happy customer.

When I first went to Artistry, a little more than three years ago, I was blown away by the skillset of the owner. So much so that I eventually started to admire her entrepreneurship and become inspired to start my own. In that time, I was never met with the energy that I brought into the establishment and I decided to accept that and remain a loyal client as I did look up to Tahra, the owner. Most recently, back in May, I had to reschedule my appointment and it was canceled. There was no understanding or consideration. I was very transparent with the owner and all she did was make me feel like she could care less. I felt very disposable as a client and I almost decided to take my business elsewhere but had a change of heart most recently. I booked an appointment again deciding to let go, let God and forgive! I was still met with the same cold-hearted and negative energy that Im used to. I will not be returning to this establishment nor will I be referring anyone else to it. Quality work does not justify toxic customer service.

This was my first time here and I must say, this was the best nail salon Ive ever experienced! I came here for a refill and spa pedicure. I absolutely LOVE my nails. The service and atmosphere was great. I will most definitely be a repeat customer!

The work done in this shop is quality and reasonably priced. I go once a month and my nails still look great after 5 weeks. Best shop for innovative, new and creative ideas. Talora is great! She has been doing my hair for months and not once have I left the salon disappointed. Shes punctual. Theres no long wait to get started. She talks you through hair styles, listens to your concerns or anxiety about trying new things, if you call / text she responds promptly - she is just all around professional. Most importantly she really cares about the health of your hair. Im 4 years natural and when she presses my hair it looks like I have a relaxer. I have finally found a stylist that I want to stick with!! I would recommend her to anyone.

This salon is everything that I have been searching for!! Great vibe, awesome staff, and youll always have a great time when you come in for their services. I get my nails done there once a month instead of the typical twice a week. Yes, your nails last a month and some change without any breaking, chipped polish, even your blinged out nail(s) will be intact. I got my nails done a week before I went camping for the weekend. Not one nail broke and every stone was still there: that set lasted me 6 weeks!If youre looking for a nail salon that gives you more bang for your buck, look no further!

This was my first time going and I booked the gel mani and pedi. I got there early and she greeted me. She told me to pick out my colors. When I went to pick out my colors she said the regular nail polish is there for my feet. I asked if she did not do gel on the feet and she said no. I was totally not aware of that so I asked if I could just get my hands done as I really wanted gel on my feet. She said I would have to pay a $35 cancellation fee which I did not understand because I was still being serviced and that is when she said that the fee applied for each individual service. Of course I was upset and told her my daughter would just take the pedi and she said okay.Mani- I was surprised that I never had to put my hands in any water or wash them during the mani which is different from what I am used too. During the mani she did not speak much at all. The overall polish and everything was great. I just felt like I was missing the soaking your hands experience.Pedi- She said she really thought that I should do it so I told her I am going on a cruise and will be in sand which is why I wanted gel because I was afraid the reg polish would chip. She stated that she has never had a complaint with that and just to try so I did. The pedi experience was PHENOMENAL. She did an awesome job on that. During the pedi is when she started to speak a little more and thats when she explained why she doesnt do gel on feet.Needless to say, my overall experience was good. If I were to give her any suggestions it would be to put a clear indication that she does NOT do any kind of gel pedis so there is no misunderstanding and to warm up a little more to customers especially when it is their first time visiting. She seems like her personality is decent but it took for me to get the pedi to see it just a little bit. She did have on Queen of the South in which I was enjoying to watch!UPDATE***So I just came back from my cruise and guess what I’m doing??? Getting my feet done over because of course like I told her the paint on my nails chipped and they chipped badly. I respect her if she doesn’t put gel on the feet but she needs to put a big disclaimer about that on her website. Not to mention I have gel on my hands and I can tell they are not going to let as I have tiny chips on certain fingers. Truly disappointed with this and it’s only been a week. I will not be going back!

Great place and the ladies wonderful

This is a great establishment. Walk in and greeted very welcoming. Talora is great at what she does. My hair is always flawless. Show up at my scheduled time and in the chair. Talora takes her time and treats my hair as if it was hers. Im never left disappointed with her work.

The BEST salon HANDS DOWN! Its literally a one stop shop! My nail tech, Tahra, amazes me every time. I always leave proud of my nails. I get multiple compliments per day. She takes her time and never disappoints with the free hand designs she comes up with. I know when I sit in her chair, my nails are being taken care of. They trally care about your nails being pretty AND healthy! Im never going to another nails salon as long as shes around!!

I will start by saying I dont do reviews very often.... So being that I took the time out my busy world to review know that it means something SEARIOUS!!! LOL. Ok let my start by saying how much I LOVE the decor of this place it is just beautiful !! VERY VERY CLEAN everything has its place and is very well put together.... very modern and up to date not like your average nail salon where you go in and its like just sit in chair 5 be with you when we can.... as soon as I sit I get serviced with a smile and amazing attitude!!! From someone as busy as me this matters so much !!! Tahra the ower KNOWS HER NAILS and so does everyone else!!! I have only had the luxury of going 4 times but cant tell you that the TIMES I went I was completely satisfied with my nails. THE products used are THE BEST. I work with children all day and all night (counting my own) and I cant explain to you how important a set of nails that doesnt chip break or fall off is !!! These nails will not fall off SEARIOUSLY when they say THEY WONT FALL OFF (which she did) she was SEARIOUS full set stayed on for 3 weeks. I once got a gel manicure and Tahra said Dont worry it will not just peel off I totally didnt believe her ..... I literally had that nail polish on for weeks NO PEEL!!! I have been to just about every nail salon in delaware and THIS by far TOPS THEM OFF!! Also Tahra goes out of her way to personally respond to her clients online. I wrote her asking for a appointment and the next day I had the salon calling me for the appointment that I surely thought would slip her mind the next day!!! NOPE they were on it when I wasnt cause I did forget to call to make my appointment !! Also get a email confirmation !!! This isnt your typical nail salon SOOOO MUCH IS OFFERED!!! IF YOU HAVENT GONE GO!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
