Called in advance made the appointment with Staci asked specifically if the attached photos design could be done we were told to send the photo (also sent two days ago) which they acknowledged with the thumbs up and said yes in the phone that they could do it. Made the appointment drove 35 minutes to their shop for a 1:00 appointment and sat and waited and waited, at 1:40 I was told my appointment wasn’t with Staci that it was with the “shop” the lady said it will be another 10 minutes and looked at the photo I had sent two days earlier laughed and said we can’t do that maybe something similar…we left and won’t ever be returning.

I adore this spot!I’ve got my favorites that I request and they accommodate. My nails always are pretty and I’ve had no bad experience. They’re also kind, nice, detail oriented. Wonderful conversations too! This is my place every month I come here.

I am on vacation at Wrightsville Beach and needed a manicure re-done. So happy to have chosen this nail salon. The best manicure I have ever had. Professional, sanitary and super friendly.

I pulled local reviews and this one came up as one of the top three for a pedicure in the Wilmington NC area. My experience...definitely NOT de-Luxe!My husband and I both went in at 6:30pm Saturday evening for their $45 Signature or Spa (I cant recall what they call their most expensive treatment)Pedicure...their deLuxe, top of line pedicure. We did not have appointments, so upon arrival, I asked if they had the time to accommodate us both as they where closing within the hour, at 7:30pm. We where told Yes, No Problem! I explained that Inhad on gel polish and that I would be wanting to re-apply gel polish, then asked if that would be ok, to make sure that they could accommodate. She told me again, No problem!.We sat where we were told and we where asked if we wanted a beverage, my husband requested a water and I declined. We where both offered a heated towel/pillow for our necks, we both declined, as we were dressed to go out afterwards and didnt want to get too comfortable and sloppy...lol.The lady that attended my husband seemes to have done a better job overall in comparison to the gentleman that attended to me. Although she did not address the corners of his nails and he specifically asked to have them removed. She did give him a nice 25 minute scrub/massage/hot stone rub/massage durning her treatment to him. I on the other hand got a very light handed and incomplete service. I asked to have my nails cut down and the corners removed, he trimmed down one of my big toes and middle toes. I told him to trim them all again, he just got his file out, like he did not hear me. I asked him to make sure that he got all of the dead skin off the back of my heal, he said yes, I got, he did not! Then I requested a brown/gold flake cay eye gel polish...why right?...And I kind of already knew that was not going to match/happen as per the nail swatch that I picked. I cant seem to take a picture thats not all bury...so the best out of what I took attached, but these were taken 24 hours after this pedicure was completed!At best, these are $30.00 Pedicures, definitely not $45..and my total came to $107 before tip, plus the guy that attended to me told me that he did not charge me the extra that they normally do for the cat eye (ummm... where is the cat eye again??). So..$45 + $45 = $90 - $107 = $17...for what? $15 gel polish removal and $3 for a bottle of water? Maybe?? But who knows, when I asked he just stood there looking at me. But my total.spent $127 ÷ 2 = $63.50 per treatment with tip.We will not be returning...🤦‍♀️

My fiancé went to get her nails done for unknowingly to her for our engagement night. The photos attached to this post are her nails after only 1week. When she went they never clarified which kind of nails she desired instead they started to put acrylic, she had to stop them and express that she had indeed asked for gel. They had to start all over. As you can see in the picture her real nail can be seen very well under where the white stops from the French manicure. As if that was not enough during the process of all this the tech caused her fingers to bleed on multiple fingers around the cuticles. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I got a mani and pedi... I asked for a natural French manicure, THEY GAVE ME GLOW IN THE DARK OMBRÉ ON MY ACRYLICS AM I FIVE????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My pedicure was less than acceptable, there is still a lot of dead skin on my heel and it doesn’t even look like I got one. $100.00 later and I have nails that look like they belong to a third grader, my cuticles are completely raw and shot because he USED THE GRINDER ON THEM TO REMOVE MY CUTICLE???? DRY????? The worst freaking place. Do Not go

I have loved Luxe Nails since I found them a year ago! Just went for my first time since all the Covid19 restrictions and I was SO IMPRESSED! They were incredibly diligent with cleaning the stations and equipment! I felt very safe. Thank you for another great experience!

Luxe Nails was so accommodating for my best friends bridal party. They were easy to schedule with, welcomed us with mimosas and did an incredible job on all 9 of our nails. Getting your nails done should not hurt! I’ve been to Luxe nails plenty of times and always had great experiences until today. I went in for a fill-in and a repair to two broken nails which most of the time takes about 45 minutes but I was there for almost 2 hours. A piece of acrylic nail was still stuck on one of my fingers. The nail tech proceeded to take a plastic tip nail and try and pry off the acrylic from my nail. It instantly hurt and I told him it was hurting me he just apologized and kept going when I looked down one side of my nail Was bleeding he said sorry again and still kept going when I looked down again the other side of my nail was bleeding. I went to cosmetology school so I knew that what he was doing was not right you are supposed to soak off acrylics and not pry them off. When he applied the acrylic again it burned my skin. I wanted to get up and leave the whole time but didn’t because I just wanted nice nails. At the end I thought he would give me a discount for the time, quality, and damaged he did to my nails but nope. I was charged 60 dollars for a fill in and a repair. my nails don’t even look nice.Unbelievable.

My nails is completely crooked!! They refused to fix it and it cost 60!!! The old man was rude! DONT GO HERE!! I usually go to jail image So Go to nail image instead dude trust me and they are cheaper

Unfortunately, I will have to find a new place. I’ve been there four times and two have been good experiences and two have not. The two bad experiences were with the younger men who work there. They didn’t follow the SNS or Chrome process correctly. After being there for 2 hours yesterday, the result was Chrome nails that have tiny bumps and divots when seen in the sunlight.

Best, relaxing experience. I always have excellent service. I always leave the place with awesome looking nails. Emily does an fantastic job with her clients. I always have fun and interesting conversations with the employees. In my opinion the best nail place in town!

Worst manicure ever! Have been going there for 3 years and went to get one before leaving for a cruise. Polish had peeled off every nail and only done 2 days ago. Had pedicure at the same time - so far that is ok. My hands have not been in water other than to shower. Most frustrating is I have a $15.00 tip. Never again!

Went and got a pedicure and shellac manicure on Saturday. Yesterday I noticed one of my nails has a small chip in it and then the polish on my thumb has already chipped away. Literally half the polish is almost gone. Gel nails should last at least 2 weeks. I am going back after work to see if they’ll fix them, but it’s very frustrating that I have to rearrange my whole schedule to go back to get this fixed, fingers crossed they will, but still very inconvenient that my shellac polish has chipped in 2 days.Edit: went in to get them fixed and they were super quick about it. Vi gets 5 stars since he fixed them for me and he wasn’t even the one that did my original manicure! I’ll definitely continue to go there, but from now on I’ll be making appointments with Vi :)

Worst experiment ever. We came in on a Saturday morning and the owner kicked us out of the salon. He came in while one of the employees were working on my friend and told us we had to leave, oh my god, we could smell alcohol on him. Very unprofessional, we saw him broke down and crying mumbling about his wife left him... Who does that. Leave your personal affair at home. Don’t bring it to work. WE are not coming back. Who know if he got a gun next time and start shooting?

Usually I really enjoy this place, but i came in yesterday and got gel nails and the man that did my nails didnt take his time at all. I felt like he really didnt want to be there. He ended up finishing my nails and told me they were good. Didnt realize they were still gooey feeling until i got in the car. And if you usually get gel you leave w them already dry so he didnt leave them under the lamp long enough. Now i have one hand that is ruff and one that is smooth. The whole other staff was very nice minus this man. Sadly my experience with him will make me not return back. If you want someone that is actually super friendly and good at their jobs ask for Twee. Shes great

Great atmosphere, beautiful interior, friendly staff, and free wine! However, my nails were crooked, and my technician didnt even do what I asked. I asked him to paint over my ombre nails, he just filled them in and said they look better like this. Im annoyed that he didnt do what I asked. He even went and got the nail polish I wanted!! Ill give this place another chance, but that was not cool.EDIT: Went back to see if this place could redeem itself. My nails came out horribly crooked. He didnt do what I asked either, as far as shape. Wont be coming back. Also, my technicians nails were dirty and a little bloody (like he pulled off too much of his nails, if that makes sense.) Not cool in the hygiene and sanitation department.

I just stumbled across Luxe Nails on google & decided to give it a try & I am not disappointed! Not only was the service friendly & fast but I am so in love with my nails! I’m so excited I found this shop!!!

I absolutely love this place! Very nice and laid back people. I did not feel like I was a burden by being there whereas some places do make you feel that way. Also, I love their work! I have never been so pleased after leaving a nail salon! I would recommend to anyone! Also, they do bridal parties and since I’m getting married in a few months I am planning on having one there!

I was really not impressed with Luxe Nails. The first time I tried to go for a pedicure I went as a walk in and was told there was a twenty minute wait. I decided to leave and try again another time. The second time I called and made an appointment in advance. I arrived at my schedule time and the woman told me there was a twenty minute wait. I tried to tell them I had an appointment and instead of sitting in the front near the windows they brought me back to one of the chairs where I sat for the next hour. I waited an entire hour while my feet sat in cold water. At one point a man came over an apologized and said that workers had to leave early for a family emergency. I felt this did not make up for the extremely long wait, especially when I had a scheduled appointment. I debated leaving while I waited but I knew I would not come back and try again a third time. The pedicure itself was fine but I had not planned to spend two hours getting a pedicure.

My first time at Luxe Nails and I am so mad that I have wasted money on random salons throughout Wilmington for so long. Twee the owner is such a sweet woman, along with the rest of her staff.. you feel welcomed the minute you walk in. The service they provide displays a clear message that customer satisfaction is at the top of their priorities. The atmosphere was so relaxed an calm compared to the messiness most salons have going on. I dont plan on going anywhere else!

My nails look decent, but the man charged me way more than normal and then pressured me to give him a tip. He stood there and asked the amount I was typing in when he already added his own tip. I was one of the last customers in tonight and I felt really uncomfortable. Also the sanitation was not good..

My husband and I decided to try this place on Wednesday July 4th. The shop was extremely busy. Johnny, the shops manager was very professional. He handled the situation well with the salon full of customers and limited staffs. We both had to wait and decided to leave and return later. We decided to return to the salon the next day, not because of 20% off that Johnny gave us but his professionalism and the staffs. We own a business so we understand the situation. Definitely will return soon. My husband was happy with his first pedicure with Van.

Luxe nails is the ONLY place will I go. Tweet has been doing my nails for three years now. My SNS Lasts for three weeks, sometimes longer. Staff is always friendly, salon is clean and wait time is short. They also offer free mimosas and wine! If you haven’t been to Luxe nails you are missing out!!

Went in for a full set pink and whites. Asked for dark pink and got a very light pink... got my eyebrows done and she took off literally half of my eyebrows. When I asked not to pay for the eyebrows she said that she couldnt because she doesnt know what my eyebrow looked like before. I promise it was not half gone. Dont let them touch your face.

Visited luxe and had Tan do my nails. Best full set I’ve ever gotten. Awesome staff and very nice manager Johnny. Everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Good prices. The lady working on me left to answer a personal call without excusing herself. One of the other staff members came over to show the women a video while she during my setion. And the entire staff spoke privately in their first language. I do think this is rude.

Went for a pedi. While the nail tech was personable and did a fantastic massage, the salon was so loud with conversation between the many techs in the salon, of course, between each other, in their language. And was far from relaxing. And then they were in loud conversation with some of the customers. I want a quiet, relaxing salon.

Worst nail job I ever had. I cant believe they are even allowed to do nails. No possible way they have any licenses or certifications. Its crooked, it has bumps all over the top. Looks like a child drew on my nails. The place looks nice and its in a good location but looks can be deceiving. Go to gdn nail bar. Dont make the same mistake I made.

I have known the new owner for over 10 years. Followed him, great service and personal care given to all clients.

Ended up going to get a pedicure and gel nails and while I was getting a pedicure I sat and waited in the chair for about 30 min as my water was cold before anybody came to do my toes. As the lady was doing my toenails (with one glove on and one glove off) she pulled a hangnail in my big toe. My toe was fine before I came to the salon but after I left it was hurting so bad and only progressed to get worse. Four days later I finally broke down and went to the urgent care due to swelling, redness, heat, drainage, and extreme pain from my toe. Antibiotics, an antibiotic shot, medical cream, and $145 (due to a doctors visit) later you could say I will never go back to this salon.

Although there are many nail salons in Wilmington I just chose to HEREEE. From the time I walked in and left out I all felt happy. They were extremely personable.

Got my toes and nails done today. I usually have a good experience but the little older lady that did my toes KILLED my toe. She claimed I had an ingrown toenail and without asking attempted to cut it out. I was dripping blood. She didn’t use gloves to hold pressure and tried to use clear polish while it was still bleeding........and THEN dipped the bloody brush back into the nail polish bottle!!!! Needless to say I will never let her touch me again. Nails by Jenny was a great experience though!

Luxe is the only place I go to get my nails done. They treat you amazing and my nails always look incredible. The sns lasted a month

I wasn’t told what my service would cost me when I told the nail tech what I wanted. I was charged an extra $10. Also it’s $5 to get a manicure. She barley cut my cuticule. I didn’t even like the ombré done to me. WORST PART! I have fungus on every single finger because this place is unsanitary. It’s embarassing having fungus on every SINGLE finger. I will not return.

The first time I’ve been here and got my nails done, the next day one had already popped off. Then 2 more popped off at work just by hitting something. The people that worked there wasn’t very considerate. But that is just my experience, and I won’t be going back.

I’m a college student, have tried out many nail salons in Wilmington and have been going religiously to LUXE for over a year now. Thuy, Hirsch and Linad always do amazing jobs! Best SNS in town. I get a full set manicure, “almond” shaped tips, with SNS (powder-dipped) nail polish!!! Love this place. They’ve won a lot of awards in Wilmington too!

Horrible service. I took my mom to this salon last week to get her pedicure. It was for her birthday and they sure ruined it. We came in and we were the only customers in the shop. All the employees standing around and nobody asked if we needed help. Poor customer service. We left the shop with my moms toe bleeding. Never again Ill let my mom experience something like this...
