I used to work for Waynes towing/AAA, it was one of the best jobs I have ever had. We were treated like family more so than as employees. Everyone there puts their clients first in everything they do, they are some of the greatest people I have ever known. When I was diagnosed with cancer and had to have brain surgery, one of the first faces I saw when I woke up was Wayne. Not many people can say their boss ever cared enough to sit by their hospital bed, if I can ever go back to work I will be reapplying with Wayne.

I had to have my Jeep towed at 2 oclock in the morning. I called AAA and the sent Waynes Towing. They not only kept in contact with me but arrived near the beginning of the arrival window AAA told me. I felt bad that it was 2am and the guy was so pleasant and friendly. He said he didnt mind at all. Highly recommend Waynes Towing. Thank you for superior service!

The driver arrived ahead of schedule! He was professional, respectful and did the job with due speed. His name was Freeman and I want to give him. High-five for excellent service. His friendly manner made having a dead battery much less unpleasant.

I had to call AAA for emergency service when my husband was away. I was given an hour wait time. Waynes Towing came in 20 minutes. The driver was very professional, had excellent equiptment to bring my van home safely.

Steve was THE MAN this evening! On my drive home from work my passenger side rear tire found a two inch nail and started leaking air while going down I-140.Called AAA and they dispatched Steve from Waynes towing. He met me at my apartment complex and plugged the tire without even having to remove the tire from my car! Quite talented, and super kind! He took a bad situation and made it great!Thank you Steve!!

Theyve helped me out Twice in the last 2 months. They were great, wait time was 40min the first time, 20min the second time. Tow drivers were very helpful and pleasant. Could not have asked for better service.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFORMATION PRIOR TO BEING TOWED!!! I called at 6:45 tonight spoke to the dispatch lady she said clear as day 55$ I needed a tow 0.4 miles not even half a mile. Used them a month ago to the same address less than half a mile it was 55$. The tow guy was great tipped him 10$ got my car where I needed it and then I proceed to see they charged me 75$!!! Called the same lady back and she said I am CRAZY she never said 55$ . Unbelievable, thought these guys were the professionals guess not keep the 20$ but to say I heard you wrong is complete BS. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO PRIOR OR PAY IN CASH.

It was horrible a blow out on the side of the road and 5 oclock approaching fast this place kept putting me on hold without even letting me know if they could help or not. After 20 minutes I called someone else reliable roadside got there before they came back to the phone ....even after explaining I was as essential employee.. unbelievable 😐

Great service great timing!!

We went out for a bite to eat and passed by the gas station to get gas. When trying to turn on the car, it did not turn on. We figured it was the starter. Tinkered with it a bit, and gave up. Called a few local towing companies, none of whom were available to pick up a car stranded off CB Rd. Called Waynes Towing and was relieved to hear of their AAA affiliation. Sam showed up within 35 - 40 minutes and was preparing to tow our vehicle on a nice flatbed truck, when he asked my husband if he wanted to try to see if it was the battery. He took out a charger brick and charged the battery a little and the car turned on. We made it in time to OReillys to purchase a battery before closing time. The total cost for the evening was: $50 for the towing/battery charge service call, the battery, and dinner. It beats having had the car towed all the way to the mechanic, to later find out it was the battery and be overcharged for it. Sam was courteous and professional. We are thankful for Waynes Towing tonight.

I accidentally locked my car keys in the trunk and called AAA to get the door unlocked.The driver, Wayne was very professional and most important to me, he was incredibly polite. Not only did he open the doors, so I could open the trunk, but he never made me feel embarrassed. Wayne deserves a raise.

This is reference to tracker #11767. I’ve used Wayne’s Towing many times through our AAA service. They’ve always come through with sending the most knowledgeable, courteous staff to tow our vehicles. Rob was very knowledgeable about how to tow my BMW the best way without causing any damage to the vehicle. He informed us about how he needed to connect to the vehicle to pull it up onto his flatbed tow truck. He delivered the BMW to our residence and threaded the bed of his truck into a tight fit area, to the side of our house. He set it in place with precision. I see why AAA uses their services. I highly recommend them and happily give them 5-Stars.

Worst service I have ever had! The guy was so rude and disrespectful. Acted like i was so stupid and had no idea what i was talking about and was trying to charge me because of random rules that I’ve never heard of. Pretty much just was trying to get money out of me. I will never recommend this towing company to anyone!!!! I have reset my presences for any future towing for any company but this. They are only interested in making a quick buck. They also reschedule my pick up three times. Making me wait for an overall 3 hours. I’m disgusted with this company’s standards of customer service.

AAA towing- This is one of the best tow companies Ive ever dealt with and Im glad they are in Wilmington. In the hours approaching hurricane Florence in 2018 the night before hurricane arrival I was preparing to evacuate and my street has been known to flood. One of my registered cars which had mechanical problems was in the street and I needed to move it to higher ground . AAAs 800 number refused to help me move my car to higher ground. So I called Waynes locally cutting out the middle man asking for a quote. The driver said he would help.me for free even though AAA would not. MY STREET ENDED UP FLOODING WITH OVER 5 FEET OF WATER. because the driver was kind enough to help me at no charge they saved my car. The driver was acting out of the kindness of his heart and may not have even been supposed to be helping for free which is why Im writing this 2 years later. WAYNES TOWING CAME THROUGH FOR ME EVEN WHEN THEIR CONTRACTER (AAA who was being shady in a state of emergency) REFUSED TO HELP ME. WAYNES TOWING SAVED MY CLASSIC MERCERDES from being destroyed in FLORENCES FLOODING good drivers good company!!!

Samuel Horne towed my car and when I recieved it. My center console was broke so now it bounces up and down and wont lock. I dont know why they were going through my vehicle in the first place.

The owner and staff are VERY friendly and accommodating! Mechanics are knowledgeable and willing to answer customer questions. Ive mentioned this company to other coworkers, all of whom have had excellent service as well. I will be using their services again :)

They are AWFUL. They keep me waiting for 3 hours, and they wanted me to wait more time. They are so incredible irresponsible, that one of the times I called to ask what was happening, the lady on the phone told me: “don’t worry, he’s was in the bathroom, but NOW he’s going to help you!”... had a REALLY a BAD experience with this company.

This is not the first time I’ve used Waye’s towing after calling AAA. Every time my expectations have been surpassed. We got Tim and he basically did one thing under the hood and voila my car was running just fine. I always am glad when Wayne’s picks up the job.

My car broke down last Sunday so we called AAA. In no time, Kevin came to our rescue! He went above and beyond to help us! He not got all of us back safely to our cars, but he dropped the car off at the Car Doctor (who I also HIGHLY recommend) and even checked under the hood to see if he could figure out what was wrong with it! He was also kind enough to wait with me until my ride showed up. It is so nice to know that there are people out there like Kevin who care. Thanks Kevin and Waynes Towing!

Car was towed here after car accident. They were very pleasant to work with.

My son used his AAA recently after he was in an accident to be towed from a ditch. When the owner/operator, Wayne, showed up he was extremely rude to my son. He told him he could charge him extra and then once he did finally pull my sons car from the ditch he left my 17 year old there with a flat tire. When I called to speak with Wayne about this he was just as rude to me. Would never recommend this company.

I use Waynes only because AAA. I had my car towed to Seaside Tire shop, came to pick it up only for them to tell me the keys were nowhere to be found. The guy towing it first told Seaside he handed the keys to one of the guys, then said he left them in the ignition. Neither of which were true. The girl mediating was nice, but said that they definitely didnt have the keys and to check with all the guys at Seaside (as if they hadnt ALL already been searching everywhere) which really annoyed me because I have been to Seaside several times and never once had any kind of problem. After over an hour stressing out, the girl called back to let us know the keys were in the guys tow truck. What if he never found them? I would have been out $250 for a new key for a mistake I had nothing to do with. Get your s*** together, dont immediately put the blame on someone else when you havent even done a thorough search.
