I am so glad that I started bringing my car to Meineke when I moved to Wilmington! Best customer service experience I’ve ever had at a car place! Sean has gone out of his way to help my father and I on multiple occasions. The entire staff is amazing! Highly recommend!!

The staff was helpful and didn’t pressure upon me any unnecessary services. The Auto Vitals website that they now use allowed me to get immediate updates regarding the inspection results and the services being preformed. It is also beyond helpful that they offer student discounts if you show your student ID and Saturday service hours. They always seem to have online/mailed coupons. I’ve used the 3805 Market Street location for the past six+ years for all of my mechanic needs and I can only recall positive and fair experiences.

The owners are amazing. Sherri explained every service and recommendation in detail. I fully trusted all and felt so comfortable knowing I was not being taken advantage due to my lack of knowledge. The service I received was top-notch. I was so impressed with the quality of work from start to finish! I highly recommend this Meineke for all your cars needs! Love this place!

My 1988 Nissan 300 ZX Turbo, 88,000 miles and 33 years old would not start. Meineke recommended a tow truck company who turned out to be excellent and the driver said that he would baby my car, and he did. The management and mechanics got to work, ordering parts for a vintage car is challenging. The looked for and replaced several rotting rubber hoses that I would never have seen. Now the car starts instantly, drives smooth, engine is responsive and feels like new. I am very, very satisfied.

I will never return to this location again after they tried to use scare tactics on me during my visit today! They tried to have me fork over $1300 for an issue that was resolved from the last visit I had with them. I was told my car could blow up and I should never drive it and might as well have it towed back home until I can pay for the services. Really? I drove this vehicle 2000+ miles after I was told a very similar story from my last visit with them in January. For a small oil leak that they “resolved” last time I was there and said to come back regularly for oil changes to be safe. Shame on you guys. It sucks I can’t do the work myself because it’s hard to trust any mechanic nowadays.

The staff was kind and respectful. I received timely updates and was not pressed to do more than sought to be done. When I asked to have a specific service removed, they gently complied. The service was timely and Job well done. They also honored a coupon, which saved me a decent amount of money. My first encounter of auto service in Wilmington, and they may have gained a patron!

Husband and I went to Meineke this past weekend (appointment made week prior) to get his car fixed. The price we were quoted a week before was 801, by the time we checked out it was 910. While my husband reluctantly pulled out his card to pay.. with confusion all over my face, I asked could I see the print out first (bc why was it $100 more than they quoted us?)... she explained while handing me the paper that they had to do something extra while they had the car... WE DID NOT GET A CALL from them explaining what needed to be done or that the price was changing... the only call we got was that the car was ready. Had we not had a little extra money in the savings, then what??? & they werent even going to say anything about it until I asked. That, to me, is unprofessional and probably illegal. I left very upset. Not a fan... The only plus is that the AC is now blowing nice and cold - so thanks for that...

I have been going to this Meineke for many years. They are very honest and never try to upsell things you don’t need. I also never feel like they are talking down to me. Excellent place I would highly recommend.

They replace the brakes and got me a new tire to replace the one that was busted. The mechanic was nice enough to give me recommendations on future thing that I have to get fixed and put some oil since my car was a little low. Definitely will go back for the other services.

I’ve used Meinike for years but this was my first experience with this particular one. Everyone was very nice. My car was making a strange noise and they were able to see me quickly. It turned out a pebble was stuck somewhere in the front end. They had to remove something in order to get to it. I was there for about thirty minutes. I was charged for labor and it was $40. Just for a pebble!! Seemed a little expensive for the scenario, but I left glad that it wasn’t something more serious.

I walked in from a rough morning at work and was greeted by smiles and nothing but help and understanding. When I picked up my car everyone was very nice and the tech came and spoke with me about my car which meant a lot to me, as no one has ever done this! The staff was knowledgable and quickly expidited my inspection with no hangups or additional problems that many places might conjure: I was a first time customer and Mineke treated me like a return customer... Which theyve earned easily and I do plan on switching mechanics because of their professionalism and their work is reliable .

Do not take your car here. I have taken a total of 3 vehicles there over 4 years and my last visit was awful. They changed my serpentine belt for a ridiculous price then proceed to tell me I have to change my alternator for over $700 which is ridiculous. I changed it myself and paid $110 for a brand new alternate when they tried to charge me $364 for the part alone. It took me and my buddy 45 minutes to change it when the shop told me at least 2 hours. $115 per hour is ridiculous $80 is the usual fee. Terrible shop would not recommend to anybody. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IT IS A RIP OFF.

These folks were super friendly while I was getting my car inspected. They explained that the long wait was due to computer problems on the DMV side and that was understandable.I was, however, extremely disappointed to see the two friendly faces behind the counter not wearing a mask of any kind. The lobby is small and I was not able to maintain six feet of social distance. As a result, I had to wait outside. It is noteworthy to say that it was 40 degrees and raining. While these folks cannot control the weather, they could have worn masks. I did not ask them to mask up because it is their business and also I felt uncomfortable doing so. That being said, I was cold, wet, and frustrated during my 50 minute wait to get my car inspected. I noticed their mechanic performing the inspection also did not wear a mask as he exited my car. I would not recommend their services because of their lack of Covid protocol in place.Friendly service; poor Covid safety protocol.

I would absolutely go to them again! They were professional and HONEST. I went to them to check my brakes, and instead of cheating me and say that I needed new brakes.... they said my brakes were fine. This goes a long way with me considering a lot of places with charge me and take advantage of a female that knows nothing about cars. They have gained a loyal customer.

The crew was friendly & were upfront & professional about anything that needed to be done for my aftermarket exhaust installation. I recommend this location for anything that you need done, whether its OEM or aftermarket (to a certain degree as there are some things that call for a full-on performance shop).

This is a great shop! My brakes were making a weird noise. The got me in 10 min prior to my appointment time, road with me so i could point it out, replaced the rear pads, and re-greased the slides on a previous brake job from another shop the day before. Great service and attention to detail!

I dont really get oil changes as often as recommended, but after receiving a non-pushy text from Meineke I thought it was time. I scheduled early in the day and they were ready for me. In and out in no time and I even had a conversation with the mechanic. A very nice lady. I recommend Meineke on market Street for your next auto service.

My college daughter was charged $52.12 to just install a free (under full warranty) Interstate battery. Casey - The manager said - it took roughly 25 minutes for this service. Also, told me if I had originally purchased the battery there it would have been free. If I came back I would get a discount on my next service. Not sure you want your college kids going here.

They did a warranty alignment on my new (to me) car. They also noticed that one of the tires was an incorrect size and fixed this under the warranty as well. Wayne and Sherry were super helpful answering my questions, and kept me informed during the process. I highly recommend!

I took my new F-250 superduty to these folks to do a unusual exhaust modification for me. They really done a great job. All the staff was very friendly, and made sure I understood exactly what they were planning to do to fix my exhaust. When I left their not only was I happy, I had a few new friends! Went there today, and the manager was very rude to me. Got snappy with me out of no where bcuz I asked if they could diagnose my car. I drove there for a second time, bcuz I had to come back due to them being busy, so I let him connect their computer to see what codes he could get, due to my check engine light being on. Than had the nerve to ask me, if I wanted to make an appointment. He would have never spoken to a yt woman like that, a black man, or anyone else. BW are so disrespected, and I most definitely was.

I am buying a car through Carvana, and when I took my first drive in the new car I found some things that made me question weather I wanted to keep the car or not. Wayne and Sherrie took very great care of me! I called Thursday needing an appointment for an oil change and they got me in the very next day.VERY thorough technicians. Though I only came in for an oil change, they inspected my whole Jeep. This made me feel very confident that I was getting the best service. I’ll have to admit I’m not very educated about cars, so they took a moment to explain everything to me. I even got a text with a report of the few things they recommended fixing (with pictures)! Wayne explained the importance of each thing to me and which ones he recommended addressing first.At the end of my appointment when my Jeep was finished, they drove it to the front door so that I wouldn’t have to walk in the rain— SO SWEET! I highly recommend Meineke to anyone that needs work on their care. They’ll take excellent care of your car AND you!

I’m so happy I came here for a second opinion on the brake issues I was having. Jessica took me out into the shop & showed me that I didn’t need anything done to my front brakes like I was previously told by another company. She also showed me my air filter that was disgusting that the other company neglected to tell me. She was 100% honest with everything that I needed and didn’t need. Go here if you want an honest idea of what your car needs!!!!

Made an appointment the day before, pulled in & got my car in the bay immediately. Wayne, the owner, was friendly & we chatted. Jessica, the tech working on my car said my AC was a simple fix! Got a new air filter installed & was on my way in about an hour! AC runs great. We will be back for sure!

Brought my car in to see if there was anything wrong after a long road trip on a tow dolley. Gave me the biggest list of problems. Took it to a different auto store, only needed one of the 15 things they listed me. Saved me 1000 dollars going somewhere else. They charged me 60 bucks to put my exhaust hanger back in place, after talking to multiple auto stores, anyone would have done the 5 minute job for free.

I love this place. The owner is a superb, honest guy. Service is always fast and reliable, and the folks who work there are kind. I always feel welcome and like they do not discriminate or treat anyone with inequity.

Over the years I’ve made relationships with some of the workers there and the owner. They always take care of my car needs and always honor my coupons, student discount, and rewards from the point program. I normally always get a good explanation of what’s going on so I’m never cheated out or taken advantage of. One of the techs, Jessica, has always taken care of my cars and made sure I was safe on the road. Especially, driving for Uber part time. I’ve always gone here for repairs, always compare rates and ask questions before you settle for an auto shop. That’s what I did and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since.

I went to Meineke to get one of my car serviced after a Nissan dealership quoted me 1500 to change the ball joints on my 2007 Nissan 350Z. Went to Meineke and they did an excellent job for a fraction of the cost which I only paid 920 however, they did did more than just the lower ball joint. Money well spent and I will be back to get my car serviced in the future. Cameron and Rico did a awesome job and I appreciate everything they did for me. 😊

I was pleased with the service but the guy who changed my oil was new. So when I got home and looked at my seat he had grease on it three different places. Of course I wasnt happy about it. All these years I been going to them this never happened before. Had to go back for them to get the grease off my seat.

Had my rear brakes done. Cost more than I thought it would be but I am satisfied with the service I received in the office and mechanics bay. Its worth a little more for the convenient location and the loaner car they let me use.

Thanks for doing a free inspection on my auto. I went to my auto dealer and was told I needed new brakes on all wheels. Meineke did the inspection and showed me that all four wheels were not needing new brakes at this time. They saved me over $600, and gave me a better price when I am ready to get the work done, with a lifetime warranty on the brake shoes.

Put a straw in my air intake system after an oil change and tried to charge me for a diagnostic reading .. yea haha no .. called to complain got a “what” answer instead of a hello like a professional business.

They worked very hard to get my brothers RV up and going. It didnt fit in the door, so they worked on it outside and in a storm. Not too mention staying over till it was done. Great group of people there.
