Ive been using Osbornes Auto Repair for about 15 years. Ed and Ed Jr. are excellent. They are very professional, knowledgeable and honest guys. They are very friendly and willing to take the time to explain everything and offer suggestions. This is a place you will feel comfortable going to. They have helped me maintain two of my vehicles out to nearly 300 thousand miles! I dont know if I could have done that without Osbornes. The Wilmington area is lucky to have this auto repair facility!

This place was great! I needed a place so I googled of course. This place pops up good reviews so I gave them a call . The guy was very nice ask could I drop it off today which was Tuesday. Called me right away told me what the problem was. He said I can have it ready by tomorrow. I told him I was trying to leave for Chicago today. He said no promises. He had it done today in no time . I drove to Chicago car worked perfectly. If you are looking for quality car service Osbornes is the place to go!

This was a great experience from start to finish. Professional and pleasant, and tried to go above and beyond to help! Got to drop the car off right away and was so surprised that the repairs were done (front and back brakes and rotors) in a matter of hours and at a very fair price. Ive used this father and son business for car repairs for the past 30 years. They provide top notch service at a reasonable cost. if you fail the emissions inspection, they will make the repair and complete the inspection for you, leaving you to simply go pay for the new registration. you cant go wrong here. they do everything from basic (oil change) to complex repairs.

Had a busted water pump on 95 outside Wilmington while on vacation, super lucky to find Osbornes Auto Repair nearby. The owner was open early and got his great crew working on my Honda right away, had me on the road in a few hours, reasonable price. Cant thank them enough, good guys all around.

My car is running better than it has in years after I dropped it off at Osbornes. I was having serious problems with my transmission and my car was losing power and Osbornes was able to run a diagnostic and fix it in the course of the morning. I am very impressed and very happy with the service. They were super friendly and helpful and very reasonably priced!!! I will be coming back!

Finally a decent auto repair shop you can trust. I used Osbournes years ago and they were the best. Having relocated and returned I took my car in for brake repair. Pepboys had quoted me ridiculous prices and not even what was actually wrong. So glad I returned to a shop I can trust. They never failed me in the past and once again have gained my trust. Ditch those ripoff chain mechanics and take your car here. These guys are the real deal and honest. All my future service will be with them once again. Glad to be back!

The “Eds” are angels sent from Heaven. My 2000 Chevy Silverado wouldn’t start and I was stranded at my hotel. I got a tow truck to take my truck to Osborne’s. The tow truck driver was not allowed to take me with him to Osborne’s. I called Osborne’s and Ed picked me up and then took me to work!!My truck needed a fuel pump, and let’s just say they had a rusted mess to deal with. And then, I found out later, that the part I needed was discontinued and the Chevy dealer didn’t have any in stock.... the guys at Osborne’s FABRICATED the part I needed and they got me back on the road the very next day so I could go home safely!!These guys surely came to my rescue and I couldn’t be any more grateful for the help they provided to a “damsel in distress”. I hate to say that, but it was truly the case. I can understand why they’ve been in business for so long - it’s because they’re trustworthy and they CARE about their customers. Here’s praying they stick around for at least another 40 years!!My deepest heartfelt thanks to the “Eds”!!!

I have a vehicle with engine issues and was debating the cost effectiveness of repair over replacement. I spoke with Ed, who was very up front about what I was looking at without charging me hundreds of dollars in diagnostic and evaluation fees that other places wanted to charge. I appreciated his honesty and condor and the integrity of this business.

I recently moved to Trolley Square and was having some trouble with my car lock and exterior. Someone recommended Osborne’s and I’m so glad I went! They were unable to help me with the issues I initially needed but they gave me recommendations to someone who could do the specific repairs that my car needed, did a tune-up, changed my oil, and fixed my headlights that used to be extremely dim. Services were reasonably priced, prompt, and respectful. I wasn’t able to pickup my car until they had closed but they gave me the option of paying over the phone and picking up my car at my convenience. As a young woman, I was happy to find a mechanic I could trust. Will definitely be going to Osborne’s again!

Osborne Auto is a great repair shop!!!I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my check engine light came on with a steady misfire and I took it to the local dealer and they even couldn’t figure out the problem charged me $1000 for absolutely nothing...I took my truck over to the guys at Osborne Auto and they immediately knew what was wrong with my vehicle upon diagnostics...the price was half of what the dealer charged me and vehicle is back running at 100%...the service was great very good customer service and overall the quality of work was beyond great...I would highly recommend them for any vehicle services

Im always skeptical about auto shops, as I dont understand much about cars. I liked Osborne (the dad owner) from the very first moment we met. I live across from his shop and one night I left my internal car lights on and my car was out of battery in the morning. I knocked on his door and he immediately came with his jumpers and got my battery back at no charge! A few months later, my car started to make a very loud noise, and I had an instinct that Osborne is a guy I could trust. So I took my vehicle back to his shop, and a couple of days later he got the wheels bearings replaced for the price he promised and it runs smoothly and better than when I first bought my car. Not only he did a great job, but he offered to install my car wheel fender that I had bought at my auto dealer for free! This is a very honest, good and reliable shop that I would recommend to anyone.

I have been bringing my cars to Ed for more than 10 years. One of the first times was an issue with my AC. It would randomly cut off and then back on at some other random time. I took it to the dealer twice to figure it out to no avail. I took it to Ed and he took the challenge to heart. He ended up keeping the car overnight and over two days tracked down the issue and fixed it. Ive been a loyal customer ever since.Since then, they have been a trusted advisor on prioritizing repairs, knowing when to say goodbye to a car and even jumping in when I couldnt finish a self-repair due to an injury.Delaware is lucky to have the Osbornes.

The guys at Osbornes were amazing - I had to have my battery replaced a few weeks ago, and they did everything start to finish in under 2 hours.Unfortunately, the battery was a dud, and it died on me just a few weeks after getting it replaced. I called Osbornes and they told me to bring it right in, and replaced it again (under warranty) in time for me to get to work! They were great and fair with all their services. Thanks again guys!

I over the last 20 years I’ve brought all of my vehicles to Osbourn Auto Repair. I’ve always found them to be top notch. They always gave me the best price to the point that I stopped getting a second estimate. Trust them hands down!!! Also I recently had my car in for routine maintenance. They had the highest of standards as far as Covid procedures go. I was greeted with a mask on and also noticed that while inside my car and mask and gloves were worn!!

Took advantage of me being a female . I brought my truck there because my check engine light was on and i explain to him the problems I was experiencing. Was charge $180 to look at my truck and to top off my Fluids and tightening some wires. Two weeks late my Alternator went and brought my truck back there, just to be charge anther $80 to look at it again for something that they over look and tried to charge me $800 To repair my alternator. He Come off as a honest guy but far from honest . It’s not right to take advantage off people especially during this time .

I always take my vehicles to Osbornes and recommend them to my friends. My van needed a transmission, and the rebuilt it for me. Van runs like a gem. They even went a step further and noticed my tags were going to expire in two month, and they went and ran it through inspection for me. Now, thats service!!!!

They do the oil change on my Audi, the price is always reasonable, very nice guys, I stop by all the time when I need air in my tires and they take care of me. My experience is always pleasant with them, they are honest to me.

My girlfriends car battery died. They tried charging almost $300 to replace it, because they said the battery is in a hard place to get out. So we told them not to do the work... I then changed the battery myself, in 10 minutes, in a parking lot. I am an accountant. I am not a mechanic. So either they have incredibly untrained mechanics, or they are trying to up-charge like crazy, likely because shes a girl.

Outstanding service, really helped me out of several jams. Always there when you need them.
