We have been using this location for most of our automotive work and have been very pleased. The staff are great!

Went to get oil change and inspection and come out with a $1,300.00 plus bill. I left and my car ran hot. Never ran hot before. Said headlights needed to be replaced that didnt need it until I went there. They are now loose. To me they prey on unsuspecting women. Very dissatisfied and will Never use Midas ever again. My car is 5yrs old not 20.😤🤬👎👎

I was fit into their schedule, 2 hours before closing because I had an unexpected flat tire when no one else could or would. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service at the front desk as well as, and especially, the mechanic who fixed my tires. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for good service and value.

So grateful for their service. Had a small air leak which could not find. Their skilled workers found the leak and fixed the tire. Would not hesitate to call on them again.

The gentleman at reception was very helpful and thorough. The mechanic and I had no verbal contact. My car runs a bit better; the oil change did the trick! No hidden prices and no pressure either with the laundry list of repairs/maintenance that was noted. I will recommend the location.

Came in due to my front end of my car shaking. Quoted me $3300 for struts, tires, wheel bearing, and apparently I needed all 4 rotors and pads. Paid for the diagnostic only because I felt like I was being conned. Took it to another shop. Issue was found within 15 minutes. I have a bent rim which is causing the shake. For proof we moved that rim to the back tires and the shaking moved to the back. Either this place is completely incompetent and just suggest replacing entire systems in order to accidently fix the issue; or they are just straight crooks. Either way I will for sure bring this to the attention of whomever Im around anytime the word Midas is mentioned. I would prefer to give them 0 stars. Oh and they never even noticed the bent rim.

My son took his Jeep Liberty in for an oil change and state inspection. You get a “free” tire rotation with oil change. They found a stuck lug nut on tires that were just rotated 3 months ago and charged him $158 in labor to replace! Charged him for an inspection and when he went to renew his registration, found that they did not perform the inspection. He had to go back and have them do the inspection. After all of that, he was home today and noticed oil leaking on the driveway. Found oil seeping from the oil plug and found that the oil plug was barely tightened. I tightened the plug and all is well. He will not be going back to this Midas or any other. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I would definitely go back, i just feel communication between the workers could be better. I got an oil change which comes with tire rotation, my front tires were pretty worn from needing an alignment and the left one had a leak as well. Since i didnt get the alignment the man at the desk said they didn’t rotate my tires because my back ones were new so they didnt want to wear them down like the front. So i told them I actually preferred that since i was going to replace my leaking tire elsewhere. I ended up replacing it and using my car a few hours later which is when I realized my tire light was back on!! I see it is now my back left tire that’s leaking.. i looked closer and realized it was the tire that use to be on the front. So long story short the mechanic did rotate the tires (and maybe forgot to tell the man inside the shop?) and i ended up replacing a brand new tire… other than that my experience was great

They run diagnostics before they do an oil change. Upon seeing that I had a leak in one of my head gaskets. They refused to perform the oil change because they stated they did not want to be seen as liable in case something went wrong. I found this very odd and not sure why theyd be held liable for an existing problem on a 17 yr old car. At this point, Id already waited in their office for 45 minutes so they wasted my time and my appointment was for 4pm and got out of there around 4:45pm. Most oil change places are closed by 5 so I had to go take time out of another day to go somewhere else. Ive never heard of anything like this but no worries! Im putting my business in more capable hands.

The customer service was excellent, the woman that helped me was more than helpful and gave me a print out of everything I needed to pass inspection which I wasn’t even therefore I was there for an oil change so that was very helpful

Went for an inspection, was told I needed a3 new tires, whatever I need to pass inspection to do my tags since its my day off so I get the tires, they quoted almost a thousand dollars, I said I didnt have that so they found cheaper tires, I spent $500 instead of the $50ish I planned. I go to leave and say to the man hey that front passenger tire looks flat, he tells me no they just put 32 pounds of pressure in all the tires and when they do that sometimes they just look flat but it is good. I go get in the car, turn it on and the tire light is on, I leave it running and walk back in and say hey the lights on are you sure its not flat? He again tells me its supposed to be like that so I pay my bill and drive away, less than five miles down the road Im driving 45mph and it pops.. It was incredibly scary. After I got it towed back there they ended up fixing it for free since they said it was because they forgot to put the valve on the tire but I wish I just went somewhere reputable to start with so I couldve avoided that whole thing. An inspection cost me $500, a whole day worth of time between the two trips and the tow and I couldve been seriously injured when it popped if I hadnt been alone on the road at the time

I came in for an oil change and because it took longer than expected, which i was fine with waiting. The owner came and apologized and didn’t charge me for the service. Everyone was very nice and professional and you could tell care about their customers! Will definitely come back!

They made me buy $24 windshield wipers to pass inspection Because they couldnt find anything else

Well managed, professional service organization. My problem was quickly diagnosed and I was given repair options. The work was quickly completed at a fair price. All anyone could ask for.

Overcharging and recommendations are unnecessary they are racking up your bill. Then they charge 40 dollars to try to rip you off.

Don’t trust these guys. I used to trust this shop... until they stopped honoring my tire warranty. Why?? Because they told me they could not complete an alignment on my car. After I had purchased a 3 year alignment package for nearly $200. Why??? They said my struts AND shocks were worn out. Huh?? In my 2015... really? So I got a second opinion at Blacks tire on Oleander. And they took care of my car and never once have they tried to tell me other parts of my car were in need of replacing. Take your car elsewhere. I suggest Blacks Tire!

I have been having my vehicles serviced here for 15 years. They always do a great work, have good mechanics that are thoughtful professionals. Its a good idea to plan ahead for a appointment or leave your vehicle with them for the day because there can be a Wait.

Great folks. I picked up a nail in tire while running late for a meeting. They understood my problem and took time to fix it right away. Today they inspected my vehicle quickly and got me back on the road again. I will be back.

I went to this shop with a simple flat tire due to a nail. The gentleman working at the front desk, named Justin, was one of the most professional and courteous people I’ve ever met in customer service. From the time I called earlier in the day to verify that they were available to fix my tire to watching him interact with multiple customers while my car was being repaired (which only took about 20 minutes from start to finish), my experience with this shop exceeded my expectations. They have earned my business back!

The location that I went into on 4207 oleander drive Wilmington was my third stop and trying to find four brand new tires that were in stock that would fit my car at a reasonable price. I was also on a time limit.assistant manager Justin fontoura was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very efficient and very easy to talk to.. he quoted me a timer of 45 minutes and he stuck to that time limit though the location became very busy after I arrived again he was extremely helpful I really appreciated his professionalism and would certainly recommend him and that location too many of my clients I work right down the street at Great Clips

AJ was a big help in getting my car back on the road. My brakes needed a lot more attention than was imagined. These guys got me back on the road again safely.

I trusted the detailed estimate they gave and left my car with them. They then called and told me the same exact front brake service they quoted to me at $220-$240 would be $660. With zero changes in the service. Citing the reason as a protocol issue with sensor replacement. He clearly understood the make and model of my vehicle and would have been well aware when giving this quote of said protocols. Found a much cheaper hard quote and immediately went to pick up my car. I asked for keys and was told I could get them as soon as I paid for a $37 brake assessment. In short they lure with an inaccurate quote then stick you with a charge.

Tyler is great! He always lets me know what needs to be done beforehand. The wait time is always minimal and he can usually get me in rather quickly. The only complaint I have is that it was sightly warm in the waiting area when I was there. Considering that my only complaint was about the temperature, I think they’re doing pretty good!

I ordered a tire on Friday, supposed to be there the next Monday. I stopped by to take my loose wheel to them on Friday and As I was there the delivery truck just dropped off my tire the same day I ordered it. They told me if I wanted to wait for them to mount it, they would take care of me right now. Professional, great people!

A J was super helpful and explained the different services after my car was inspected. Informative and not pushy which I appreciate. Was able to get in last minute for brakes and tires. Was my first experience with Midas but definitely not my last!

They charged for an oil change that wasnt done and they said they fixed my tire rod and that wasnt completed either. I will NEVER use them again.

Had huge problems with the Firestone down the road, then tried Midas and I’m switching.

Everything was good until I went in for my oil change for 1776 and couldnt do it because waiting almost an hour and a half they tell me my dipstick is broke and they couldnt pull it out to change my oil to check it its their policy

In and out in under 2 hours. Very knowledgeable and comfy waiting room. Diagnosed my problem and delivered the fix right away.Highly recommend this one on Oleander.

I am new to the Wilmington area and hadn’t had a car inspected here yet. As I drove around I saw that this Midas location had their sign out as aNC Inspection station. I drove in, asked about an inspection and was out in about 15 minutes. The man who waited on me was very friendly, professional and mannerly. I was very impressed with how well I was treated and how quickly I was in and out. Will def go here for other services.

Had a coupon for an oil change, so I decided to get this shop a try. I also needed to get an inspection done while I was there. They are open on Sunday and that was the only plus. Everything was going well. The guy even indicated the inspection was going well. He indicated that I should get the air filter and Fuel injection done, but I decline. A few min after that they came back and say my inspection fail because of the wiper blades needed to be change. I indicated I check it and it was fine. The inspector say it was leaving streaks. I look at in and didnt see any streaks. He indicate it had dry up, but there was still water outside of the wiper blade area. Changing the blade cost me an additional $30.I was hoping to find a shop I can trust, but this is not it.

Always a pleasant experience, from oil changes and brakes to fixing busted transmission lines. Almost always able to get in for service same day, wide array of readily available parts and fair prices. Nothing they can’t fix! Highly recommended.

I Have a tire quote in my email inbox, I called the store and had them order. They told me their price, it matched the online price ($40 more for road hazard, which is okay with me). I was told the tires would arrive next day. They arrive, I show up and the price jumps approximately $20/ per tire because (I was told) “that price quote is if they get the tires from a different distributor”, in order to get them today I had to pay the higher price.That increase was not told to me until I showed up for my appointment.This is precisely the reason so many people seriously distrust the automotive repair industry.

Each person has been easy to work with. I’ve been there twice for tire issues (nails). Each time they have worked quickly, and within their estimated time frame. I have also observed no damage/scuffs to the wheels during the work, which has happened with a different place in town. I appreciate the care they provide.

I went by there and tried to get an estimate the guy wrote everything up and then he told me that he would call me back with the estimate and nobody ever called me back I called up there and they had to let it didnt know nothing about it so I sat up there for 30 minutes and try to get an estimate that didnt happen then they said theyd call me back with that estimate that didnt happen so it didnt happen thats my post

I decided to try out Midas for the first time after getting tired of the service at Jiffy Lube. The service and overall experience was excellent at Midas and I planned on beginning to take my vehicle there for all of its future oil changes. About a month after my oil change, my oil level light came on my dash, followed by my check engine light, and I noticed performance issues with my car. I checked my oil stick and there was absolutely no oil in my car. I took it into the shop and they confirmed i had 0 leaks of any sorts. We concluded that obviously no oil change had taken place when I went to Midas. Basically paid for nothing.

Phenomenal staff and highly recommend for the professionalism!! They are very knowledgeable about foreign and domestic vehicles. Any job you have they are fully equipped to handle. 5 out of 5.

The best place to get a front wheel alignment. They have the most up to date alignment shop around. Make sure you go to the one on Carolina beach rd across from Walmart.

Was very displeased on my experience wanted to see the old parts of the work I had got done and come to find out they threw em away when I asked for them they tried to make a big deal about finding them was very displeased and disappointed on how I was treated at this midas.

More than just excellent service and fair prices, they truely know cars. The inspection included, with even just an oil change, is comprehensive and the details are delivered immediately to your phone as well as on paper when you checkout.

I have read many reviews on here and after about 3 months decided to post because I was unsure at first, but now see a pattern.I simply went in for an oil change and tire rotation. (I will admit that the customer service seemed great...) but I had to wait an hour and a half for it to be done.Then I was told before they rolled the car out, that my battery was weak and on its way out, but I also needed to replace my belts which of course costs hundreds.I had waited long enough and didnt have the money for all the repairs needed at the moment. I said I would schedule later, but warned that the belts, like the battery could go at any moment. (Basically a beware of the inevitable).Ive gone 3-4 months with no problem until the 100° heat we had day after day to the point of the tinted windows started to peel.But it took that for my battery to finally die.Anyway, major point being... I did have a couple of others look at my belts because of the fear of God imput into me by my Midas visit and they both said there was no problem.Im very leery about this place now and doubt I would ever visit again.(Because Im now wondering if my oil was actually changed or tires actually rotated.(Also the many, many copy/paste responses from the owner seems a bit disingenuous... and apparently common since there have been so many dissatisfied customers)

Great service and customer care. I like the free diagnostic on your first visit and the way they break down the parts and labor on what needs to be done to your car. You know ahead of your car breaking down, what needs to be done first and how much you need to save to get it done. Prices are reasonable.

Needed a new starter and a belt replaced, they found the belt; i suspected the starter. They waived the diagnostic fee even tho i requested the service. Theyve been tip top for me since ove been going there.

Good guys.Overdue for an update.Ive only ever let these guys touch my Yukon.I cannot put into words just how much theyve put up with from me and my big old truck.They go above and beyond in an industry that can make or break the consumer. They stand by their work, show integrity and handle a crying woman with stoic grace.Sorry guys.Between Florence, flooding, Wilmington in chaos and people breaking down or flooding out by the hundreds they were the only open shop on a newly created island with 40 and 17 closed, we could not escape if we wanted to.These guys worked with no air, a skeleton crew, frequent power outages, blocked and flooded roads and staff of their own stranded or stuck.Im not able to convey my appreciation for these people.They help when they dont have any obligation to do so, stand with their work and dont give up even when I really just want to roll my truck into the Cape Fear.Next stop is corporate. Honor and integrity needs recognition.I really love you guys.Thanks so much!

It was extremely annoying how many things they tried to sell me when I just needed an oil change and tire rotation. This is clearly the company in town that will try and take advantage of anyone with little to no car knowledge. Not to mention an oil change and tire rotation took an hour and a half!! There are quicker, more reliable, and cheaper places to go in town!!!!The cabin filter needed changing but I knew that buying one on your own was much more inexpensive so I opted to do it myself. The guy told me that it was extremely hard to get to which was a lie. One simple youtube video showed how easily accessible it was behind the glove compartment. The filter that they said they got out of my car was pretty bad; you could see leaves on it. Well instead of just tapping out those leaves they just shoved it back in the way it came out (poor customer service). However they put it in UPSIDE DOWN!! So now all that debris went into my ventilation unit causing it to make a sound when the air was set on high. I had to take apart the ventilation unit behind the glove box just to clean out the debris that went in there due to the dirty filter being installed upside down.

Car was misfiring on a trip to Wilmington on a Sunday. The Midas team put 2 techs on my car to get me back on the road quickly. They were very professional and service was as-promised.

I had my wifes car in for an oil change. They brought me out and showed me a couple things that my car needed instead of just telling me. As a former auto technician I really appreciate that.They do great work and were very friendly and responsive to my needs. They gave me an estimate for the work that I need completed and from my experience they are very reasonably priced!I observed the same kind of treatment for the other customers that were there while I was!YES! I will recommend this Midas to others

Very bad customer service! My husband walks in to see about getting a muffler put on. He waits his turn in line and then tells the guy he needs a muffler put on. The guy says I don’t have a welder and then points at the guy behind my husband and says next. How very rude was that? My husband could not believe how rude he/that was. My just looked at him and turned around and walked out. I mean really all you can say is I don’t have a welder and then could careless if my husband had another question. We will not be going back there. There’s to many other places to go that actually have nice customer service associates.

I have been a customer of Midas since I first relocated to Wilmington almost 7 years ago. I always found them to be honest and fair with their pricing.

This place will try and take all of you money and then some. Go to Midas on princess place and speak with Cameron he will make sure you get the best service and the best price. This Midas is absolutely tetrible. Dont even waste your time.

They did a thorough examination of the truck, found several things that need to be done at sometime in the future. Impressed with their service and attention to detail.

Diagnose issues that arent even there and steeply over charge for the work to be done. The only thing I would suggest getting from this place is an oil change but be careful! If youre a woman they will try to sucker you into 1000 plus dollar repairs that you dont even need!

Traveling across the state I got a 2 1/2 bolt in my tire. I pulled into midas at 12:53 pm my truck was returned at 12:59. Dave was on top of it. And the worker Theron did the work in race car time.
