I recently purchased a fully loaded, but neglected and paint-abused Onyx Black GMC Yukon. It appeared as if a large limb or entire tree had fallen on it. The leaves and brush had been left on the vehicle long enough that theyd decayed to the point that it had eaten through the clear coat, the base coat, and down to the primer coat on the hood in several places and the entire roof. Knowing that the body metal wouldnt last long in that state before massive corrosion began, I had to get an estimate from a few body shops in the area and act fairly quickly as the vehicle has an electric sunroof and I didnt want any leaks to begin around it. Of the shops I went to, some didnt seem to want my business, nor did they seem on the surface competent to take on the job and complete it to my satisfaction until it was recommended that I stop by Christiana Body Shop that had since become Caliber Collision. Merely driving up to their shop at 96 Germay Dr. Wilmington, DE. instilled confidence in me that I was at the right place. Working closely with Megan and Rob, they hammered out a plan of action that included telling me exactly what would be involved in repairing the Yukons paint issues, putting my apprehensions at ease as I realized how involved a procedure it would be. The estimate I received was the higher of the three shops, but with the ethics representation that I felt from Caliber Collision made the decision for me as we forged ahead with the job. I was to bring the Yukon in the following Monday morning and Megan told me that the turnaround time would more than likely be six days making the pick up day fall on the following Monday as Caliber Collision is not open on the weekends. Friday afternoon, five days after I dropped off the Yukon, my phone rang and it was Megan telling me that the truck was ready. Already being out running around in Shirleys Malibu, we arrived at Caliber Collision an hour before closing and picked up the Yukon and the paint looked as good as it did the day that it left the showroom, also the headliner and sunroof had been reinstalled professionally. The bill came in a few dollars less than the original estimate making the end experience with Megan and Rob at Caliber Collision a bonus. Hopefully the before and after pictures will do more to describe the quality of work that Caliber Collision did for me.

From the ladies at the font desk to John & his manager (sorry, I dont know your name!) I was left feeling incredibly confident in repair shops & will 100% go back to Caliber Collision if I ever (hopefully never) find myself needing another accidental repair. They fixed an area near the damage from my accident that was due to another incident. Johns manager offered to repair the other damage at no charge & the result was immaculate. Especially, since I barely had to wait a full 2 weeks. Thank you Caliber Collision for your extraordinary customer service & workmanship.

Caliber Collision was able to repair the driver side of my beetle after a car accident. Rita and John were very courteous, professional and kept me updated through the repair process. I was amazed to see the finished product. It didn’t look like it was in a car accident. I am so happy to be able to drive my car again. Thank you!

Dropped off my vehicle for minor repairs. When the vehicle was picked up my dash cam showed footage of someone doing a burnout in the vehicle. When this was brought to the attention of the shop manager they waited until I followed up with them a week later to tell me that it was a sublet vendor and they will not be using them anymore, providing me with no resolution or restitution for the abuse to my vehicle or it’s parts.DO NOT USE CALIBER COLLISION.

Good work

They installed a new hood that I purchased and dented it underneath and tried to lie and day the primer was hiding the dent, which the hood was throughly inspected b4 shipment and once it arrived. They didn’t align my hood up right and now it won’t open and expected me to pay for all their major F -ups! Took it elsewhere and they want $800 more dollars to fix their F-ups. Called them to see if they were willing to fix it and they have yet to call me back! Poor quality of work and very poor customer service after getting paid! *** Do not use them*** and I find out later that they performed, poor quality of work with a friends friend! Take ur precious items elsewhere, anywhere but there!!!!!!

Caliber collision will be my go to shop for repairs, The staff is very friendly and the work they do is always great!

My Malibu was hit by a driver on his cell phone who ran a stop stop! My car was towed to Christiana Body Shop ( who were in process of company change) for repair. The entire crew Meghan, Christine, Ernie and SPECIAL thank you to Rob for putting my car back as it was prior to accident. The employees mentioned were friendly, patient and performed perfect job on my car. I would recommend this place to everyone and will not take my cars anywhere else

Honestly, if the Quality of the work being done to your car matters keep these guys in your address book.Im not a bad driver but I had been to several body shops in Delaware. Please be careful of deer by the way.You would think it would be hard to say a body shop went Above and Beyond expectations after getting a claim from your insurance.These guys did the job the way I was hoping. Everything was a lined up perfectly.They Communicated with the adjuster appropriately and they kept me in the loop with everything.Thank you to my friend who referred me to come here I will definitely return the favor!

This shop is top shelf when it comes to handling your car repair. I entrusted them with my Audi, understanding they had a relationship with a local dealer and experienced nothing less than a thorough evaluation and detailed repair. The experience could not have been better.

Not happy at all. Took my car there on a recommendation. Its been a week and a half and I have barely heard anything. I had to call three times before I even got a call back. I expected an estimate but they did the work without asking, took the full amount of my insurance check (shouldnt have given that information) and are charging the insurance company even more! Definitely take your car elsewhere I wish I did.C.N.

Lied about price, lied about timeframe, rushed the job. Sub par work, overspray and orange peel. clearcoats cracking years after on a garage kept vehicle.. Be wary
