These guys fixed an issue in my car at the very end of the day on a Friday and I was able to have my car for the weekend. It was an emergency repair that I got to them that morning and it was done quickly! Very affordable and genuine workers!

Went today for my inspection today and they were quick and professional. I had another issue before with my car that was fixed quickly. They are sold on me going there for all my car needs.

The owner, Mike Moore is the best! I have known him for 10 years. He is the only car center that I trust with my vehicles.

I had arrived in Wilmington for a short stay and in driving down from VA our car had developed a noise when hitting bumps/dips at high speeds. I had safety concerns for trip back home, so Mike said to bring in. He took on a road test and then discovered in his shop that the front bumper mounts were missing some parts. He diagnosed that it was not a safety matter and could be corrected back at home due to length of time to get parts. When I asked for a bill, he said NO CHARGE as really didnt do any repairs. Wow, totally unexpected (out of the norm here in No Va) and much appreciated.Id definitely recommend his repair facility to be treated fairly!

My car died last night and I had it towed here after closing time. They looked at the car today and were back to me within an hour with what was wrong and offered a very affordable price to get it fixed. And even had it fixed an hour after that! So grateful they were able to fit me in, and were so helpful and quick getting me back on the road! Will recommend to all my friends and family needing repair.

Worked on my 2009 Honda Pilot with ~150k miles. Identified the problems fast, did professional work fast, and charged a great price. Didnt even try to up sell, which was unexpected and refreshing. Will definitely go back for all my mechanic needs, highly recommend.

I brought my car in for a NC state Safety and Emissions inspection on a Thursday. I didnt get the vehicle back until the following Thursday. I was charged $120 in labor to read OBDII codes. After all was said and done, I was told I needed a new intake manifold valve and a new O2 sensor in order to pass state inspection. I was charged $240 for the valve (Dorman part 911776), and $253 for the sensor (ULTRA-POWER part 2349005). After the service, Mike told me that his parts markup is typically about 45%. This means Mike paid around $345 for the parts, and marked them way up. These exact parts cost $177.68 for both from rockauto.com. Mike charged me 277% of the price I could have obtained these parts for independently. Also, Mike told me on Tuesday that the car would be ready on Wednesday, that it passed inspection, and that the total cost would be around $500. He didnt actually have it ready until Thursday, and on that morning I was told that actually he also had to replace the O2 sensor, despite telling me that the car was in readiness. This suggests that he didnt actually know the car was done when he originally told me it was. All of this left a very bad impression on me. As a first-time customer of this shop, Mike came across as incompetent for not knowing when the job is done, and greedy for charging me far more than a fair price for parts. All told, this repair/inspection cost $833. I will not be bringing my vehicle to this establishment ever again.

Brought it in for them to set ignition timing for me asked for a 300 deposit in worry’s of more than what was to be around 150 to 200 dollars. That was all I wanted done but, they continued to work on it I told them both valve covers were damaged I wanted to replace them myself the took a valve cover off called me told me they could bend it back I had told them that would be cool it would save me some money. He calls me back a hour later tells me he replaced one valve cover and gasket and I now owe him a extra 200 dollars for the part and labor that I did not authorize him to do to my vehicle. Besides that they had got my window off track trying to roll it down and will not fix it for it being their fault. He also had failed to tell me that happened in the first place. Also refuse to fix it or refund me the money for the work I did not authorize.

Although I have only gotten an annual inspection at Atlantic Car Care, I am confident that Mike and his crew are honest mechanics. Due to a simple mistake, Mike had forgotten to perform an emissions inspection on my car. When I came back, Mike apologized profusely and did not charge me the additional fee for the inspection. It was an overall rewarding experience and I will be sure to come back next year.

By far one of the best car service businesses around. Michael and David put in the extra effort to make it right the first time. This is my go to place for all my vehicles.

Mike and Atlantic Car Care were recommended to me by a friend I highly respected, and I’m so grateful. Honest, and trustworthy work, and a fair hourly rate.

This is the best place in Wilmington to go... If your intentions are to spend all your money at an amateur car care facility. I took my vehicle in because my check engine light was on and they said they thought it was spark plugs and wires. So I reluctantly paid them $350 to fix it. So I thought my car was fixed, right? WRONG. Two days later my engine light came back on. They then said it was a coil so they ordered one, but said it didnt work when they installed it. I was told after already spending money that DIDNT fix the problem that they would need $150 for a diagnostic test, and it could possibly cost hundreds to fix. I had a friend change the coil they said they replaced and my car works fine. Again, this is a wonderful establishment if youre interested in spending all of your money and possibly fixing the problem. Keyword: Possibly I urge you to consider a different car care center.

They have always been kind, forthcoming, and honest. I have an old vehicle and come in pretty regularly for repairs. One time I came in just because a part had detached and was making a ton of noise and they fastened it back together, free of charge. I highly recommend them.

In my opinion, Atlantic Car Care is the best place in New Hanover and surrounding counties for auto maintenance and repair. I had been to multiple other shops in Wilmington and when my car needed serious repair I dreaded taking it to any of them. I had AAA deliver it to Atlantic and I am glad they did. Top notch service, knowledgeable, and the prices are fair.

Excellent experience. Called for an estimate. Told me to come by without an appointment. Had to wait for about a half hour then the took car for test drive and put it on the lift. Took the time to show and explain to me what was wrong with it, but given that it was an old car with a lot of rust (2005 Subaru from up north) stated the shared goal, keep it safe without dumping unnecessary $ into it. Thank you! Gave me an honest appraisal unlike Mobile Tech who wanted to charged me $50 to tell me it would take $2500+ (for unnecessary work/unfounded problems). Best of all... no charge today!

My sister and I were on vacation and the shield under her car came loose. The friendly people at Atlantic Care Care repaired it quickly and efficiently. They offered free coffee and wireless internet while we waited, too. Good coffee. The kind where you brew each cup individually. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and even more impressed with their service. The shield on the underside of my car kept coming loose over a year ago. I had it repaired several times. It always fell loose again within a week (sometimes the very same day). Eventually, I just had it permanently removed. My sister hasnt had any trouble with hers. I wish Id been in Wilmington when my car needed the service.

Mike and Jay were great from start to finish. Since moving to Wilmington 2-years ago weve tried a couple different mechanics in town. Not to name names, but they either lacked communication or seemed to over charge for services.Mike and Jays communication was excellent during the entire process. I am not from Wilmington and randomly picked this place to have a leak in my tire fixed. I was very impressed with the service. Before they even looked at my car a sheet was printed out so I could see how much it would be if they only had to patch the tire. When the leak was found they showed me what was causing it. The staff was really friendly and I really appreciated them showing me the cost beforehand and showing me why my tire had been leaking. If I have any other car trouble I would definitely go here again!

I recently had work done on our old 1994 Jeep at Atlantic car care. Mike and his people went beyond my expectations in obtaining no longer manufactured parts for this old but good Jeep. it was truly great to have the repairs done in a timely professional manner.

I inherited a classic Camaro and not knowing a lot about cars, I often have to get the same thing fixed several times because of the age, plus it usually costs a lot of money. My car broke in Wilmington, and they had it towed, for a good price, and fixed my car in 2 days, which was simply amazing, considering I thought the engine was gone. I would recommend Atlantic Car Care on the basis that you will not find better customer service or a friendlier staff.

Just right place to go, if u want to be ripped off!!! Went there for diagnostic for $100 or so, next day they called me and said that they running out of the time that they already spend on car finding out whats the problem is ..I really needed my car back running so I agree to pay extra .... that extra got to $150 more..... so I paid $250 for diagnostic. Really? U dont do the stuff like that. There is always flat price for diagnostic, it does not mater it will take 5hour or 5min. U dont fix on price, then calling your customers for another...... Biggest rip off. Just look at the prices there!!! I should go to the Dealer, Ill ended up by paying less....... I will never ever go there again!!!!! I went there only cuz my friend know the owner. That not even helped. He still rip me off......

Prices are outrageous. They wanted to charge me $427 to fix my broken outer tie rod. I got it done today at OLearys on Market St for $155. Those people are on crack and I will never go back to them.

They took great care of my car when I was visiting Wilmington and my car broke down. If I lived there I would definitely use them for all my car care needs!
