Absolute best apartment experience. My fiancé and I have probably lived in 5-6 apartments throughout our relationship and have never gotten the level of customer service as we have at Ellington! Everybody who works here is super friendly and is always willing to help when needed. Tall ceilings, granite counters, lots of space, dog park, pool, gym etc all at a good price. We stayed here while we built a new construction home and when construction was delayed, ellington easily let us go month to month. If we didn’t have the new house to move into we would 100% renew our lease here. Highly recommend!

Mike Stokes is a great property manager! He makes everything so simple! Always calls to check up, and will even call when there is a package in the office to see if I would like him to drop it off in my apartment while I am not home! Great all around guy!

Ellington Farms is one of the best complexes in Wilmington! Mike, the manager, is awesome & always quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Its a quiet, small community with beautiful apartments.

Safe place where to stay and management/maintenance are the best...they will go a step and above!

The apartments are nice inside, however when I first moved in I had a lot of issues! (such as bees nests both inside and outside the home, the refrigerator was sticky and not cleaned out, the carpets were filthy with hair and were not shampooed, the water pressure is low, a broken toliet seat lid, walls are cracking and were not repainted, etc) The grills are filled with flys and ants. The pool and the pool bathroom are dirty and never maintained. There is dog poop everywhere, no one cleans up after their dog. The property manager Sharon is rude and talks about other residents to other residents. I feel unwelcomed going into the leasing center. Anytime I call the leasing center there is no answer or no one is ever there. I am very disappointed with the way this complex is running.

Mike Stokes is the best apartment manager ever! And Jaden is the best assistant manager! Along with Doug being the best maintenance man! They are all so dependable that its almost unbelievable.They go above and beyond for all of their tenants. However, the following needs to be said about Ellington Farms on Google:DO NOT TRUST THE OLD & BAD REVIEWS FOR ELLINGTON FARMS!ALL the bad reviews were written when a COMPLETELY different team of people ran Ellington Farms. Now its Mike Stokes, Jaden, and Doug-- and they are, to put it simply, the BEST.I cant recommend this place enough. Ive lived here for over a year now and anytime something goes wrong (microwave breaks for example) the team at Ellington (Mike & Doug & Jaden) quickly help out ASAP.Mike, Doug, Jaden: If youre reading this, thank yall so much for everything yall do. You just cant ask for a better team of people here at Ellington Farms.I wish more apartments had a team like these guys. The world would be a less stressful and happier place. I was a resident at Ellington for almost two years. I had a wonderful experience there. It was very quiet, the common areas are kept very clean, the residents I encountered are all very nice. I want to just hug the property manager. Mike has gone above and beyond anytime I have ever requested anything and always has everything in order. He always greets you with a smile and willing to help and he’s always working on the property himself to keep the integrity of the property well kept. I can’t say enough good things about not only the property but the way Mike manages onsite. As a business owner I look at how everything is ran there and I was very happy. I couldn’t be more happy with Ellington Farms. I’ve lived in Wilmington since 2015 but I moved in at Ellington Farms in September 2019 and since then I have had seriously 0 issues. Mike and Jaiden in the office are very professional but also incredibly helpful and friendly - they go absolutely above and beyond - and Doug in maintenance is also an awesome guy and gets the job done as quick as possible. Very quiet and clean community, great amenities, and very spacious units. Best complex in Wilmington and at a great price! Will definitely be renewing my lease!

We have lived here going on two years now-since Mike became manager in late 2019 changes have been made and the place has really improved. Residents enjoy great amenities, and the new manager has brought the right changes to improve things. Quiet, comfortable, and a great value with convenient access to all Wilmington has to offer.

Just moved in here. I have built apartment communities for a living and this place has been great! The builders did a pretty good job. Pretty apartments with tall ceilings and big spaces.The leasing office is great to work with. They have been more than accommodating getting me into my apartment while working around my schedule since I travel for work.I haven’t used the pool or grills yet but they look nice! Complex looks clean and tidy. Apartment was super clean when I moved in. Water pressure is definitely a little low but with the new plumbing we are required to put in it limits the PSI coming out of the shower head so that may be part of the issue. All in all I’m very happy with this place!

Great apartment community, very quiet and always well maintained. I moved here in November and am very glad I chose this complex. Mike and Jaiden in the office have been great as well!

Very impressed with the staff that work here. The pool was cleaned and ready to be used again 1 day after the Hurricane. Mike is extremely helpful also. Great place to live.

I moved in on June 30 and have had nothing but good experiences. The few issues I had were addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. I have lived in other apartment complexes in the Wilmington area and Ellington Farms is by far the best place I have called home. I read some other reviews and felt I should share my experience since it seems lately there have been some unhappy people. First, I can say that I am not a manager here (as someone claims a manager posts all the 5 star ratings), and second I have never had a poor experience with the current manager here. As for the current state of the pool and grounds, they are still cleaning up from hurricane Florence, but according to the office they are scheduled to have those issues handled soon.

This apartment complex is great! We havent had any issues. Our few maintenance requests have been fixed within hours...and we havent had many since its a brand new complex! The lady at the front office (Keri) is so nice and helpful! The fitness center, business office, pool and grill area are awesome perks too. Definitely recommend this place!

The apartments themselves are beautiful with hardwood floors and chrome finishes. The staff has recently changed and they are all awesome!!! Teal is amazing and since she has been here, I feel like our community has turned around. Already its much cleaner (stairs and breeze ways cleaned, gym towels washed regularly and now they even have their own shelf), the office is open regularly, snacks and coffee are always stocked, and she always greets you with a warm welcome! This apartment complex is great, not to mention its right next to Lewis Strawberries!!

I loved living here! Chrissy is awesome, Robby is fantastic, the previous manager (Teal) was also amazing. Such a cute, quiet, and nice place to live.

This place has gone downhill drastically over the past year and a half. The property manager, Sharon, is incredibly rude with a terrible attitude and many renters have complained but nothing is done about it. The pool is constantly locked when it is supposed to be opened. It could be a great place to live if the right person was in charge.

Would not recommend living here. The pool and bathrooms are never clean— nor the grills. Pool gate locked many times— when you let the office know the usual response was “ filter must not be working “. The pool was not cleaned after Hurricane Florence until January when Sharon was having a Super Bowl gathering. They have gone through at least 4 maintenance men in 15 months. Sharon rude to residents as well as the maintenance men.

Apartments have a nice appearance on the inside. I would not consider this luxury apartment living for the following reasons: leasing staff does not respond to emails, pool is NEVER open (its summer btw), overpriced for lack of amenities, breezeway and stairs are nasty(full of spiderwebs, stains & dead bugs)

Be careful if you are looking at Ellington Farms. They tell you anything (lie) to get you to sign lease. Carrie, the manager told us our rent would go up about 10 per cent. Ours went up $279 per month. When my wife approached the new manager, Teal, her reply was, I am finding Carrie lied to a number of people. My wife just had major surgery and cant look for new apartment. Teal reply, Im sorry. In other words, tough.Apartments are not luxury. They are builder grade material. Poor water pressure. Staff is unresponsive. No conscience. How do they sleep at night? All they care about is $. Be careful. Have a lawyer? You will need him/her!

It has really gone down hill since moving in nearly 2 years ago. The attention to detail has really become much less of a priority for the new management.

The management here is terrible. Keri is the manager and she is not knowledgable or helpful at all. She does not seem to care about the residents and is not there a lot of the times. She does not give the people filling in for her any information so if you have questions they will not be answered. As long as she is still the manager I would not recommend living here.

I love life here. Every morning I sit on the balcony and read the news overlooking the strawberry farm. It’s down the street from fermental, broom tail, and lucky joes coffee. You can take Gordon road to MLK and be downtown in 15 minutes. Traffic is still rough but it’s way easier than anything else in Wilmington. I would highly recommend this palace to anyone.

If there was an option I would give this place absolutely 0 stars. Me and my mother moved in, at first everything was great. But then the constant letters on the doors, and the coming in and out of my apartment without my permission was really starting to bother me. This is when things went horribly down hill. I continued to put in my mantienced request as per requested by the horrible manager of the complex. Not once of my 5 months of living in this hell hole did ANYTHING in my apartment get fixed. The manager Keri, is probably the most unqualified person for her position. She has a ton of respsonsibiliy handling this apartment complex. Sadly she has failed miserably. Over my time, we have had false acquisitions about when and how we paid rent. We as well received over 100$ worth of fines that came to us in a paper on our door. These fines had nothing to do with us, and of course the manager handled the situation with an attitude. The one maintence worker they have on premises can be RARELY seen doing anything mantienced related. You can also expect all the little girls in the front office to flirt with your neighbors and buy them beer as well as come to your apartment to hangout which is completely unproffesional. After all said and done when it was finally time to be released from this hell and on to better things. We got slapped with a hefty amount of fines. INCLUDING, everything from the check off list that never got done for 5 months. They decided to charge us with! I advise anyone to stay FAR FAR FAR away from this apartment complex as possible until this place is properly ran by a manager who is actually qualified to handle such a job. Because the current one is not cutting it. If for some reason you do end up living here. You might want to have a lawyer on speed dial. Youre going to need it.
