The management team is absolutely wonderful; they are all extremely helpful and understanding. Maintenance always comes out quickly and is very professional.
Lived here for several years and I recommend it. Nice location, nice people, maybe not the most upscale apartments but affordable! Definitely one of the better places to live in Wilmington for the money!
Timely, polite, and had my AC capacitor fixed in minutes.
Ceiling fans mounted in non approved boxes that poses a fall risk, brought up to management and was ignored. Parking issues brought up to management that were ignored. Issues with dog poop that was brought up and ignored. Issues with hallway lighting that was ignored that posed a hazard due to the hallways being completely dark. Found out it had been reported 3 days earlier and nothing. When questioned management said they turned it over to cooperate and it was no longer their problem. How is it no longer the property managers problem when they manage the local property? The old manger did nothing and the new one is no different. Also to top it all off if you call them out on there issues and become frustrated they kick you from entering the office via an email sent at 6:01pm(right at close) so you have no chance to respond. Dont even try to contact the cooperate line as the number listed no one answers and no one will return their voicemail. Also after dealing with there corporate office I have now found that they will run a smear campaign against you. The front office manager and her co manager are sexist and will make it out like you are some raging hulk if you are a male and you complain about something. Also see one of the responses from there office staff who laughs at you if you have an issue. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Really a good place to live. Mostly quiet and safe. If something is not working they promptly come and fix it.
Lived here for 2 years and I never really had any complaints. The office staff was always friendly and helpful. The buildings and property were always maintained well and clean. It was fairly quiet in my building. Never had any issues with neighbors. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. I know that is a corporate decision and they just keep up with the market and demand.
I would like to give a shout out to Josh and Devon for their superior work and response on all my maintenance requests . Thank you very much guys for everything you do. Always making it a priority to make sure everything is complete 👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent service and I learned a lot about residential plumbing and another aspect of how refrigerators work. Being as though I am a nerd this was a very complete, professional, and enjoyable experience for me.
I had an issue with the refrigerator. Woke up to a lake in my kitchen. The maintenance guys were in and out. Nothing but good things to say about them and their professionalism. Had a new fridge in a matter of 30 mins. Could ask for better service.
Josh and Devon are the BEST maintenance personnel I have ever.known.
I have lived in Tesla Park since October 2018. Overall, Tesla Park is a nice place to live. As I am a light sleeper, I have found the area to be quiet while still remaining near grocery stores, restaurants, and local amenities. The rent is affordable, the residents are very respectful, and the office staff are nice. There are monthly resident events that you can participate in. With that being said, Tesla does have a major problem: after July 31, 2019 there will be no on-site laundry facilities. After talking with the office staff about this on 6-11-2019, I was told that the decision was made by corporate. In talking with a representative from the corporate office, I was told that the decision to go this route was based on current trends that people wanted washers and dryers in their own residences. Tribute Properties, Teslas parent company, is willing to rent me a washer and dryer for $50.00 a month. While having a washer/dryer in my apartment would be nice, being a single gentleman, I dont spend that much money on laundry a month. For me, paying to have a washer/dryer in my apartment doesnt make fiscal sense. Furthermore, the closest laundromat is almost 5 miles away. Overall, I think Tesla is a nice place, but having no on-site laundry facilities after July 2019 is very disappointing.
Property is decent, prices in this area have climbed a lot since the hurricane. I was greeted and helped by a young man named John Patrick- very helpful and knowledgeable- the rest of the staff ignored me and my concerns. We ended up choosing a different apartment place nearby but wanted to compliment one particular member of their staff for his good attitude and assistance.
Staff is friendly and helpful. They do an excellent job in maintaining the property. And everytime I send maintenance request, its taken care of quickly.
I have been living in this complex for over 12 yrs, I wouldnt still be here if I didnt like it. Maintenance when and if needed are prompt and accommodating to address the issue.
Coming up on one year and really enjoying it. They do a great job getting your packages to you. Super quiet community. Kind of back in the woods away from the main road that keeps the place quiet. About 19 minutes to downtown Wilmington. About 15 from the beach. The staff here is awesome.
The issue was a broken water heater. The maintenance or vendor was quick and had it replaced the same day. The problem is that during that visit money that was left out had disappeared, and the money was not lost or misplaced. The office staff seem not to care about the problem when we brought it to their attention saying it wasnt them and brushing it off by telling us to just file a police report offering no help or sympathy. So now I will be contacting corporate about the incident and see if they will be able to help.
Very quick to respond to my request and very polite and competent.
Ive lived here for a little over a year and the community is very nice, if I ever need maintenance they are quick to come by, and the staff are nice to work with. When I first moved here my dog suffered really bad separation anxiety and was being a disturbance to others, and the Tesla staffed worked with me through it and were very nice about it. The apartments are nice and theyre in a great location. We enjoy living here!
Maintenance is quick and proficient. Been here for close to two years and had no problems
I recently requested maintenance for heat that was not working. Within an hour they had arrived and quickly fixed the problem. The maintenance team is always punctual and professional. I highly recommend them.
Came in and fixed my cabinet thanks. Amd bought me a new microwave!!
I was very satisfied, They came a little late but the work was very good.
My first apartment and it was a great choice. The front office staff is really the best. Very considerate and understanding. The community events are fun and thoughtful. The apartment itself has a good layout and is a good size. Never had any complaints about neighbors or the complex.
I rented a first floor one bedroom apt and my daughter and son-in-law rented a second floor one bedroom in 4/22009. I am still in the same apartment. It is right across from the playground and dog park. The dog park was upgraded last month. New fencing, new surface which is great, my dog loves to play fetch and this surface is great for that. They landscaped outside the fence with several types of bushes and pine straw and a very nice bench to sit on.There is a Residents Event each month and they are awesome. The last two offered free cupcakes from One Belle Bakery and they were the best I have ever eaten. Then two big sliders or tortillas from a red food truck. I dont remember the name but food was great. Monkey junction never has food trucks so that great. Staff and maintenance crew are very good. Grounds are kept up. The pool is where I spend my time from May till Sept. There is a huge gas grill for residents to use. You can swim, cook, eat, swim again. What a life! My daughter has since moved into a 2 bedroom and has views of nothing but trees, bunches of them. There are many places like that here. Check it out!I saw a post that said roach infestation and if you call the office they will spray every week. With different people over the years I have had them to spray several times. But they get rid of problem if you let them know.
I have lived at Tesla Park twice. Currently living there until I close on my house. The staff has been courteous, helpful, constantly cleaning the grounds, always helpful if I have to call or stop by the office. One loud neighbor out of SO many. Ill take it as a complete win!!The layout/space/amenities have been great! Price could be considered a little high, but for the area/apartment it is completely well worth it!Also, it is well lit, friendly neighbors always kind of watching out for each other. Safe environment. I would and do recommend these apartments to anyone!
I visit this place many times due to my delivery job. It is always clean, the apartments are spacious from what Ive seen and the buildings are fairly easy to find. I dont know how much it cost for rent here but its got a great location right there off of College Road. Its definitely worth looking into if youre new in town or looking to change locations.
My family stays in these apartments, they are very nice to be an apartment lol. I love the pool area. Very relaxing and big.
Maintenance was the only good thing there. The price of them is not worth it. I moved to amberleigh shores in porters neck and pay about the same. Kinda run down. They use to have 3 bbq pits but now just have one. The grass need to be cut half the time. Ooo and if u shop at monkey junction u have to go down a mile just to do a U-turn to get home. Smh. I lived there for 4 yrs and was so ready to move out. Trust me there better places in wilmington for better price.
I dont know anything about the noisy neighbors. All my neighbors are very quiet and very kind. My fiance and I have been here since September and we love it. Its very animal friendly, very clean, and quite quaint. The office is always very helpful and kind and they always have events for the residents to attend. My only complaint is the windows. They dont have the best insulation during the winter months so the sills tend to pool with water. You have to fight to keep them dry. Other than that, this is the best place I have ever had the pleasure of calling home.
Resident for over 5 years. This is a very nice place to live. Management does keep up with routine maintenance and are quick to fix any problems inside individual units. This year they added a huge gas grilling station at the clubhouse for residents to use. Office staff is friendly and helpful and there are many amenities and services included in a pretty fair rent. Now, if there was only a hottub............
Great place to live. Centrally located to everything Wilmington has to offer. The apartments are well maintained, with great staff and management. Excellent value for housing.
Great service call by maintenance staff!
Dogs seem to have more rights and privaleges than the people who live here and pay rent.
Great office staff with responsive maintenance. Safe place and close to everything. Great place to live.
Very nice residential community. Nice people, pet friendly, dog park, lots of paths and woods to walk pets..
Its a tribute property. Ok open area spacing between apartments but not great inside. Tribute has a ridiculously pet policy. If you love dogs and have a bigger size one stay away.
I read the comment below before I moved into Tesla Park and was a little worried but after four months here I can say they are very quiet apartments. Perhaps he had loud neighbors but I love it here.
Ive been here for eight years, feels like home
Location is great. Property is fine for apartment living. Quiet and laid back.
Cheaply made, the porches are put together with ungalvinised nails and most are just painted over rust completly unsafe for childeren to be out on. Property is finally being maintained more, which is a great plus but management have started being real petty jerks about little things ( that do not pertain to the apartments) . Makes you wonder if they really care about the residents or just the money they can get from them. But otherwise when face to face they are very polite will post pics of some ridiculousness! ONE HUGE PLUS, maitnence in the apartments is done promptly, things get fixed quick, so thay is probably one thing that i do love, and the property is beautiful .I heard from alot of residents that they have given NO ONE their deposit back, which is dissapointing. Also, They do nothing about horrible neighbors, no matter what! But they have time to worry about your car tags... Look around before choosing this complex as your home; plus the specials are hardly specials and you can count on your rent going up at least 25 bucks every year.
I have lived at Tesla going on 8 years now. I liked it okay when I moved in when the rent was cheaper. I could kinda justify the shotty construction because of the low rent when I moved in. Now is a different story. The rent rates are ridiculously expensive when you factor in the paper-thin walls, No sound-deadening between floors, Wooden stairs that you can hear throughout the building, no dining room, cheap fixtures, small sinks, a swimming pool that doesnt flow water, a laughable workout/laundry room, awful carpets, small and poorly designed cabinets.....The staff is okay. They seem to bully everyone with fines right now because of trash and pet waste problems. I would give them 2 stars, but that is just because of crappy neighbors. Not the buildings fault.
This complex is beautiful. The apartments are amazing
I applied to this place last week and they denied me for having 4 more late payments than they accepted. Im talking about in a 2 year period I was late maybe a few days and ALWAYS let the place I live at know and paid a late fee. The manager in the office at Tesla Park is a snobby itch and IS NOT FRIENDLY OR PERSONABLE at all. I was told by a resident that has lived here for 7 years now that if the previous management would have still been there we would have been accepted. the guy in the office that did our application led us to believe we would be accepted. Honestly I feel we were just a way to get the application fee. Honestly we dont have that kind of money to just throw around with a 6 month old baby. He knew we had a baby too. He told us if we were denied he would call the next day with other places we could try. NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM HIM. Very unprofessional people in this office. The other girl that works in there is very nice. But the guy is a liar and used us to get an application fee and the manager is very snobby and not friendly at all. This place DEFINITELY NEEDS new management. Im thankful I didnt get accepted because of the management.
Spacious rooms. Good location
Apartments are nice, clean, and in decent shape. Rent is a bit high for what you get, but employees are friendly.
Love living here. Convenient location, quite neighbors and an awesome staff!
The women at the office have ZERO enthusiasm and respect for their clients. Always act as if they’re inconvenienced. Wouldn’t live here again.
Quite neighborhood with professional and curteous office staff; Sharee, MacKenzie and Bridget are AWESOME!
There is a roach infestation and they are trying to move someone in ASAP. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS place! Your things will be ruined and they will not let you out of the lease. The entire building I was in is infested and multiple people are complaining and I overheard the office saying we need to get someone in that unit ASAP, STAY FAR AWAY. There is literally roaches on the counters, walls, cabinets and everywhere!
Quiet and comfortable place to live. If you have a problem in your apartment they will take care of it right away.
Nice quiet apt complex
Beautiful views, great layout
Great place to live
Impressive grounds.
Ok, but not great
Nice living
Outstanding!
