There are salons and then there is Puffers...nothing like it. Pampered from the minute you walk in the door. The prices might scare some away but if you can treat yourself, SOOO worth every penny!!

Today was my first time at Puffers and with working at a hospital during this time and going through some personal stuff as well I can honestly say my experience here was incredible. I received a massage by Amy and it was without a doubt the most amazing massage ever. I left feeling so at ease and stress free. Highly recommend this place.

I have gone here many times for facials/aesthetics and have always left feeling amazing. The staff always make me feel welcomed and treat me like Im their first priority. They are very gentle with my skin ( they give me head and shoulder messages too) and also really friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I also think its very affordable even for college students!

At my age, getting up the stairs for my pedicures gets more and more difficult. I know a lot of older women who have quit having facials, massages, and mani-pedis here because of this issue. They need to do something about the situation.

It is a beautiful place very sophisticated, professional, and inviting. The staff are so nice and theyre always smiling. Adi did an amazing job on my pedicure, I havent been that relaxed in a while. I almost forgot that I was 9 months pregnant from being so relaxed. Shes super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I used Puffers Salon for my wedding hair and makeup, as did my mother, grandmother, mother in law, and bridesmaids. We are from out of town and werent familiar with any businesses in the area (we got married a town over). Im very glad I chose Puffers!Morgan really worked with me in finding a time that worked well with my busy work schedule to come in for my hair and make up trial. She also was really flexible when I changed my mind multiple times on what services I wanted to schedule and what family and bridal party members would be joining me. Sarah did such a beautiful job with both my hair (I opted for an up do) and makeup and really listened to me when I explained to her what I was envisioning.All the staff were so friendly and really did a great job with working with my family and bridal party, who are very diverse in age and hairstyles. My grandmother is older and was really nervous about getting her hair and makeup done, everyone made her feel so comfortable, made her make up look natural, and she ended up looking beautiful.The staff also provided us with a table and glasses for drinks and snacks, which made us all feel more at ease and enjoy ourselves even more. The serves stuck to the schedule we agreed upon and all of our hair and makeup was done on time so we didnt have to rush off to our venue.Puffers Salon staff are wonderful and I would definitely recommend them for event hair and makeup!

Came here for prom hair and makeup. I asked the hairdresser for loose curls that would all fall over one shoulder, pinned there with a pretty clip in the back. I had long bangs that I was growing out at the time, and the lady had no clue what to do with them. She ended up pinning them behind my ear...not curling them with the rest of my hair...which looked horrible. The curls turned out like Shirley Temple curls, tight and short...not what I asked for at all. And my hair had no volume on top! She didn’t tease it or anything. Ended up having to redo it myself at home...stressing over my hair was not how I imagined the night of my senior prom. I hadn’t known at the time what exactly was wrong concerning the lack of volume because I’m not too into hair (which is why I am paying someone to do it for me), but something wasn’t right. But at my next prom, when I went somewhere else for hair (because I sure as heck wasn’t coming back here) the lady used a powder and teasing brush that did the trick to give it more volume. For a place that markets themselves as high end, I wasn’t impressed at all. Makeup was fine...except she didn’t blend it at all with my neck and chest. Even showed her a picture of my dress which was cut low, and it didn’t even occur to her to blend the makeup...? Might help to tell them you’re getting ready for a wedding or something if you’re going for prom so they don’t stick you with someone inexperienced because you’re young and don’t know any better.

The salon is beautiful, warm, and welcoming, but I rate it 5 stars because of my hairdresser, Anne. She always gives me a beautiful cut/highlight with style.

Ive been going to Puffers for about 4 years now. I have my hair and eyelash extensions done. Nikki and Katrina will make your eyes look like a Kardashian. They give fabulous facials too. Jamie is pure talent! She is so knowledgeable about hair color and explains everything to you so you can make the best decision for your hair. She will make sure you achieve the look you want while keeping your hairs health a priority. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I received a gift certificate for Christmas and decided to treat myself on Valentines Day. I live in Westfield and have never been to Puffers. I have to say the customer service, specifically Lauren and Carolyn, was top notch. I received my first mini facial and the Stress Fix Massage. AMAZING! I felt so relaxed and comfortable during the entire experience. The facility is beautiful, very clean and elegant. I also benefit from the Aveda products and salon & spa services, finding them indulgent & relaxing w. aromatherapy, soft lighting, muted aesthetic, cozy textures & temps, gentle music & chimes, & the color cascading bubble wall in the two-seat dim lit room for all pedicures, with an herbal neck pillow, big comfy massage chair & plush lap blanket—ahhh. I particularly adore Missy, the sweet ninja faerie artist, whose hands I entrust w. my fine yet wavy/curly abundant hair that I prefer natural, care-free & low maintenance. I have similar regard for Carolyns expert touch & knowledge with amazing results for massage & nail care. Positive regard continues for Steven & massage, Margarita & nails, Adi & nails, and the front desk crew. Of note: Ive had more than one less than satisfactory experience w. other staff in all of those areas, yet, Puffers always takes accountability & makes amends. Its been worth finding & developing relationships w. the right stylists, massage therapists, & estheticians for my individual needs.On the not 5-star side: (a) the desk & phone can get backed-up w. guest traffic; (b) I dont believe that all salon services, on the second floor and basement floor w. stairs, are accessible to all, primarily for those with mobility issues; (c) the space & clientele present as overwhelming white, cis-female heteronormative, middle class & above, middle-age & above, & English-speaking American-born citizens; meanwhile, the best care & results Ive received from Puffers have been from the skilled staff who dont present as such.Nonetheless, and overall, Puffers is my go-to for an indulgent, relaxing, reliable salon & spa experience, that I often recommend to others and gift to others in the form of gift certificates & products (& I love getting these gifts myself!). I have been visiting this place for eyelash extension for almost two years now. They are mean, dishonest people who discriminate people like me who can not speak english very well. They take advantage of the fact that you can not speak very well. The eyelash extension servis is $85 for a 1/5 hour servis. The last 2 times that i visited this place i was in the room for 1 hour instead of 1/5 hour and lauren did not have the courtesy to explain why she is doing that. The rest of the people working there were no help. This place is ridiculous
