Getting 3 stars instead of 1 purely because the employees here are incredibly nice, funny, and sweet which was very refreshing. however. got gel x, literally not a single nail was the same size, shape, width, anything. and they were done so poorly that literally the next day one of my nails came off without me doing anything to cause it to pop. 10/10 would nEvEr recommend you go here, for nails at least. i would have called and raised hell if i hadn’t thought the employees were so nice and didn’t want to get them in trouble.

Paid $250 for nothing. Came in about a week ago for a curly cut and highlight. When we did our over the phone consultation they asked if my hair was past my shoulders and I told them yes. When I came in for the appointment she said I told them my hair was medium length and not long so my appointment would take longer than expected. After that the whole thing felt very rushed. Not only did I ask for golden caramel highlight and I got a shade barely lighter than my natural, but she didn’t even have time to actually style it after. I left with wet hair, and it was CRUNCHY. I have never. I had to go home and rewashand style it myself to actually see what it looked like because it was so frizzy when I left. Not worth 250 dollars. And not worth the rude people.

I’ve never had such a bad mani-pedi. The cuticles were not properly treated on hands or feet. The nail polish did not cover the entire nail on feet or hands. They just looked dirty. So embarrassing as my daughters wedding was next day.

My Mother and i went the day before my wedding and it was a beautiful place. Now the actual manicure and pedicure were mediocre at best. If you are looking for a fluff place with drinks and so so nails go here. But I guess were wanting help with our rough feet and cuticles, this isn’t the place for that.

On Monday I went to the Beauty Bar for the first time! At first glance, this place is absolutely beautiful. I had an appointment with Ashley to get a Brazilian wax and I have to say it was an amazing experience. I was super nervous and Ashley did everything she could to keep me calm. From the start of my appointment until we finished, I had full trust in Ashley and she was very knowledgeable on everything she was doing. I left feeling GREAT. I couldnt be happier about my experience with Ashley and will be back in a month to do it all over again. As long as Ashley is here, this is where youll find me. So proud of you Ashley, you are so good at what you do!

I am a senior and I needed a pedicure. I have never been to one of these places and was a bit intimidated. I went and Beth took good care of me. The place is clean the staff is courteous and if you like you can have a cocktail while you enjoy your treatment. The worm has turned for this old guy.

My stylist took great care of me! Wonderful cut, highlights, and color. I come here every time I am in town.

This is a great, reasonably priced Aveda salon in Carmel. I’ve used their nail and skin services multiple times and have been happy each time.Pros: great services and specials, reasonably priced, welcoming atmosphere, upfront and clear pricing, not pushy with extra products, timely with appointments, and they serve alcohol.Cons: limited to no nail art, and sitting at the nail bar can be uncomfortable if you’re there for awhile.Bottom line: this is a great option! I frequently get the skin special and gel manicures. I recommend Anna for skin services.

I was gifted an afternoon at this salon. My mistake was not to inspect my toes before leaving. I also found out later the cost & what was supposed to be included in my spa pedicure the SEVENTY DOLLAR + tip option . I did not receive any massage or hot stone treatment, and you can see below the quality of the paint coverage. Very poor experience.

I went the the Beauty Bar for the first time yesterday and saw Ashley. She was so professional, knowledgable and friendly. I am amazed with the results of her waxing and will come back again and again!

Today I saw Ella at the Beauty Bar. I came in with an idea of what color I wanted, and when I told you the type of color I was interested in, she immediately when back to get a few polishes she thought I might like. She was a great conversationalist and I will definitely be returning to see her!

OMG! So completely happy with these ladies from the second I called for an appointment. I felt like a special VIP when I walked in the door. Lindsay gave me AND my hair the exact treatments and care needed and made sure I was happy with everything at each phrase of my style. Ill be back for life and already referring friends to come check out this spot!

Fadia is absolutely amazing! She did my bridal hair back in October of 2020 as well as my hair for the new year! My hair is stunning thanks to her masterful balayage technique and her suggestion on toner was great and looks great against my natural hair color and skin tone. If you want amazing hair, ask for Fadia!

My daughter’s bridal party scheduled an appointment with the Beauty Bar of Carmel. We felt very rushed- not organized. The nail artist did not listen- wanted to eat lunch and drink wine during appointment BUT not with foil on my nails! I asked if she could remove fouls- and was ignored. I asked again and she said that she would remove them after the pedicure. Totally missed the point!! Afterwards, took off the foils but not the polish. I was so frustrated that I took off my own polish at the salon!! NOT COOL!! Will not be returning to this salon!

This team of incredible ladies had me looking my best for 2 months with fancy nails! Several of us ladies came here for the week of events and spent girl time drinking, laughing, and getting our nails done for the wedding, that was so fun! I love going and getting my haircuts here and getting a glass of wine! They also fit me in last minute for hair and makeup when I had forgotten our anniversary and Dan had pictures set up that day! Good thing because it ended up being when he proposed! Wedding day, they made me feel beautiful with hair & makeup and I highly recommend them! Treat yourself and go get beautified while enjoying a drink!

I never really leave reviews, but my experiences at Beauty Bar have been so great thanks to Gretchen!! She is sweet as can be, makes great conversation, and she really takes the time to make sure my hair looks great. I came in with damaged hair (still wanting to bleach it) and she made sure I left looking like what I wanted to, while keeping my hair healthy. Every time I leave I have a big smile on my face and feel so confident :)

It was so incredibly awesome to get a bombshell pedicure here today! Michelle was my technician, and she got my winter toes cleaned up & ready for summer. The team has implemented sound practices to deliver services, while doing things to keep their employees & customers safe. I love this place! Ive recommended Melisa to a few family and friends because she (as well as the rest of the staff) is always so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Ive always wanted to ombre my hair, but had previously been skeptical about getting it done. However, I was SO HAPPY with how it turned out! I received so many compliments, and still do to this day! I had an appointment for pedicure. Called me later to move my appointment. For the inconvenience they gave me free manicure which I thought was nice. They provided complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. My service was decent. Nikki that did my pedicure and manicure was very pleasant and nice but knicked my cuticle on a toe and finger causing it too bleed. She put the antibiotic lotion on it right away. Everyone at the front area were all very nice. Very pretty inside. I will give them another shot.

The salon is beautiful and the front desk staff was very professional. However, my gel manicure looks like my 7 year old daughter painted my nails and my hand massage......oh yeah, no massage of any kind. The price for the manicure was $40 (NOT including tip). Im very disappointed and will not return.

Beauty Bar Carmel is a great salon for both men and women. My wife recommended it to me for a haircut and the stylists were so knowledgeable! You even get a facial when the stylist washes your hair which was a good addition to my haircut! Defiantly recommend.

I had lash extensions put on at a Thursday evening appointment. By Saturday morning, my left eye was red and itchy. I was diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis on Monday by my eye doctor. I called the salon to (politely) let them know. I was told I would get a call back. They never called. I emailed a reasonable request for a refund. No response. It took 5+ phone calls before I was refunded my $99. My tech was touching her phone then touching my eyes without gloves. She also left in the middle of my session to blow her nose. The special I took advantage of ended costing me hundreds of dollars in medical bills and medicine. Lesson learned! Never again!

Stopped here today to have on nail that was split fixed. Was told to come back later in the day. I even showed the young ladies at the counter. It would have just taken a drop of glue and top coat to repair this nail. I come up from Brownsburg and made them aware of that. No sympathy at all!! It was if I tried to stop by without an appointment for a full manicure. Not happy spent a nice amount of money at the other location getting my nails done two days earlier!!! Just needed one nail done!!!

I thought it was a nice environment and the the hair cut was good. My complaint is that she didnt style my hair. She just dried it. Ive honestly never been to a salon where my hair wasnt styled at the end (curled, flight ironed). While she was drying my hair the receptionist came and told her the next client was there. I have a feeling thats why she skipped this step (unless this is just how the salon does things, if so they shouldnt be charging 30+ for hair appointments). Thought that was very unprofessional. Wont be going back.

I truly love these salons. I originally started going to the Geist location but they opened up a store in Carmel last year and it’s equally as great. I have never had a manicure hold up so well! And you can’t beat relaxing with a cocktail while getting pampered. Genius! This place is Ah-mazing!

My sister and I went to the Beauty Bar to get a mani-pedi before her wedding. The ladies were nice there; however, there were scheduling problems and accidentally booked us on different days. So, I had to call and reschedule. In addition, they didnt get us what we requested (a gel French manicure and a gel pedicure). Instead, we got normal polish for our toes and a plain coat of the gel polish for our fingers. Also, one of the ladies really hurt my sisters feet while rushing to get us done, even though there was no one there to get a mani-pedi the whole time we were there. My sisters toe nails were also smudged. We spent so much money to relax and have fun for my sisters wedding and are definitely not going back. We are getting our nails redone somewhere else.

I debated writing a review for a while, but I felt like I should share. As any individual who is looking for a salon should know, they should know what kind of business they are going to and what to expect. I had a terrible experience from the hairstylist to the owner. I came in wanting them to simply blend my blonde tips with my roots.The hairstylist proceeded to bleach my whole head, which I did not ask for nor wanted. After the wash and blow dry, my hair was a silver greenish color, not the blonde I originally came in with. If youre going to call yourself a beauty bar, at least have people know what theyre doing. I was in tears, and did not leave getting what I expected and asked for. I was still forced to pay for a job that was subpar, but was told that I should call the owner for reimbursement.When I contacted the owner, speaking calmly I explained the situation and asked for a refund. She proceeded to yell at me and told me to stop bothering her and the employees, and then hung up the phone. This was extremely unprofessional, especially from an owner.I do not recommend anyone going here unless they want the worst haircut and color of their lives. I feel as though a child could run a more professional business.
