She gave me the hair cut that convinced me to get a membership and just gave me a haircut that convinced me to keep my membership.Two of the last three folks that cut my hair at Hammer & Nails absolutely massacred me. I had a co-worker ask if I tried to cut my own hair. My wife suggested that I shave it all off and start over.When I first started to come, everyone did an amazing job. I would book an appointment with any stylist, knowing that I was going to get a really good haircut.As they’ve begun hiring, it is clear that they do not screen folks effectively. I will never use the any stylist option again.Advice to management:If you’re not going to hire folks who are masters of their craft, introduce different tiers of stylists. If I am paying for a premium cut, I expect someone who can give me a premium cut.

This place, as well as the staff, are in a league of their own. Its such an incredible experience from start to finish. I got one of the best haircuts Ive ever received... Their prices are very reasonable, and their hospitality was next level. Ill never go anywhere else again!

The shop is amazing. My sons and I have enjoyed the first class service at H&N since their opening. From the time you walk-in to the time you leave, you are treated as a valued patron. The cuts are amazing and the employees are all fun and energetic. I would highly recommend H&N!!

I was greeted warmly with a tour from Janet. I was the. Immediately sat with Kelsey who did an amazing job cutting my hair exactly how I wanted it. She took her time and made sure to do touch ups before she was finished. Very pleased and I will be back.

It was my first time visiting recently and Jeff was super friendly, showed him some pictures of what I wanted and he matched it perfectly. Very nice and clean in the shop and they had some good IPAs too. Will definitely be coming back again

My experience at Hammer & Nails was nothing short of an absolute heavenly experience! Ive never had a manicure or a pedicure in my life, and Caitlyn was PHENOMENAL! With my membership I was able to gave a glass of Bourbon with my service and I must say, this was one of the best experiences in grooming Ive ever had.

Hair cut and beard trim were amazing. I didn’t think my beard could look so I nice came in for a shave but Kelsie convinced me she could make it look good and she came through in a big way. Also gave her free reign on my style and my mother said it was the best haircut I’ve ever had.

Probably one of the most awkward experiences I have had in a long time in any business. First, just know, they are trying to aggressively sell you on a subscription plan as soon as you walk in the door. Then, they kind of awkwardly walk you around the place, giving you a tour and trying to upsell you on all of their product lines throughout. After that, I met my barber and let me tell you, I immediately was met with the strangest exchanges of me trying to describe my very simple haircut to her. She kept saying, I dont know and what? but all I was asking was for a pretty standard hair trim. The haircut was very overpriced and the best way to describe the whole vibe was I felt like I was kind of a bother to her just by having her cut my hair. They offer you a cigar and whiskey but I have yet to understand when you are supposed to drink that during a haircut. Checkout did not go well as they attempted to check me back in again somehow forgetting that I just spent 45 minutes in the back getting my hair cut. Then I had to say no several more times about not wanting to sign up and felt a massive relief when I walked out the door. Do not waste your time, go to Blue Star or even Great Clips and save your money.

Very pleased with the service. They take appointments, have an excellent app, and its clear this is a shop that focuses on men. Leah cut my hair, which was a mess when I went in. Lost my original barber when he moved out of town and had been looking for a new place. This is it! One other thing - Leah gave the best shampoo Ive ever had, incorporating a scalp massage.

Great experience. The hair cut wasn’t. I would rather pay $60 for a great haircut rather than a great experience. Very disappointed about the hair cut actually.

Everyone was polite and thorough with explaining services offered. I was less than please with the persons lack of advice and instead was just told I was giving conflicting messages on what I wanted and I needed to tell him, he wasnt there to tell me... I was simply hoping for some advice like I usually get when I go to my normal spots.I wasnt offered any product at the end or a chance to get my fixed to see if it was working. Instead, came home, tried fixing it and ended up trimming it myself. I may go back but will work with someone else in hopes of a better experience.I will update after next visit, maybe it was just an off day for both of us :).

Very nice place! I highly recommend checking them out if you are male. I took my son for a haircut and they did a fabulous job! They have a great “club” type membership for men. Upscale but laid back at the same time. You even get a complementary drink with your service. You won’t be disappointed if you book!

My buddys wife scheduled a surprise appointment at Hammer & Nails for his birthday. She signed us all up for the Premium Beard Grooming. We were just told to show up here and had NO idea what to expect, but we gave it a go! This was a whole new experience.Upon arrival, we were welcomed in. Since we already had reservations, we were welcomed right in. Before you enter the main area, to the left was a spot to hang your coats. Once we sat down, we were greeted by our barbers and we talked about what we wanted done with our beards. My barber (Leah) used a steamed towel and different oils to rejuvenate my skin and beard. The service also came with a black charcoal mask to unclog your pores. Then Leah did an awesome job of shaping my beard and making sure I looked clean and crisp. She also talked me through every thing that she was doing and what benefit it had on my screen and beard. The session is complete with a cold towel and some manly smelling after shave.Hammer & Nails also serves beers and liquor. Their collection consists from classic beers to nice top shelf whiskey. Of course I had to order some whiskey on ice, which sadly I couldnt drink it until the end of my session.At the end, my bill was about $80 something. A lot more than what I typically spend at my usual barber. I stood there and thought about getting their membership which financially made sense. Membership costs $64 a month, which comes up 2 complimentary Classic services (Premium cost extra) and comes with a drink of your choice. Soo either I pay $80 something now for this one time session, or pay $64 for the membership to get 2 sessions for this month AND get a drink each time. Membership made sense to me! I went back a few weeks later and another Beard Shave and Leah did an awesome job!Check this out, on Tuesdays, members are also able to upgrade their complimentary Classic service to any Premium service. So if you want to attend on a Tuesday (I highly recommend you do for the additional premium pampering), make sure to schedule ahead of time.You can also get the Hammer & Nail app. You can schedule your services through your phone, and even request which barber you want working on you.This was a really smooth experience and the environment felt upscale but it didnt feel bougie at all. This was a great experience, and I felt on a cloud when I walked out. Highly recommend their membership!

I had the classic manicure and sports pedicure and it was incredible, the prices are fair and the memberships are a good value. They were very friendly and professional, I definitely will be returning!

Looks like a great place for a mani/pedi, I don’t recommend getting a haircut there. Got my husband a gift card for Father’s Day, and I’m not sure what they were trying to do, maybe cover up his receding hairline…but he came back with bangs and now he looks vaguely like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber.

My first visit was a great experience. Started with being greeted by Nicole as I entered, she provided a tour of the facility and made sure I was comfortable as I waiting for my stylist, Kelsey. Kelsey was great as well. Super friendly and she listened to my preferences and concerns, made her own suggestions and I now have a hair style I can manage. 😁

What is there to say about this place?? It is simply the best. Personalized service and care. Starting the second you walk in, a smile and an inviting greeting lets you know you truly are welcomed. The services offered are second to none, I am in weekly because this place makes me pretty. I have a specific barber that I book for my hair and beard work, that being said, I am comfortable entrusting any of the barbers with keeping me pretty. (Its a lot of work for them.) If you dont need the hairs cut, come to the back, pull up a big leather chair and a whiskey and let the nail techs do their magic. Again, I have a specific tech that I go to, but would and have felt comfortable letting others work on me.In the restroom they post their mission statement, and part of it says you will be treated like a King. I always joke with the girls that I dont feel like a king when I am there... The truth is I dont.. I feel even better than a king, I just dont know what that is.So come in, promise you will like it, love it, and continue coming, heck youll probably see me there!

I joined the club because of the quality of the haircut, the casual vibe, the relaxing experience that they provide, the fact that I can still watch any game I want on TV, and the overall environment. I enjoy a beer, basically a massage, good conversation, and I feel like a new person when I leave. Definitely give them a try. I bet youll get hooked.

I love Hammer and nail of Westerville. I work very hard for a living and enjoy being treated when i can. I have the premium membership which isnt the cheapest bill i have but its worth it. Like all things you pay for quality workmanship and a great experience. Quality isn’t cheap, and this is place is of the highest quality. Maddy does my mani pedis and she is one of the coolest people ever easy to talk to and down to earth. Hair cuts and beard trimmings are top notch.I forgot my barbers name but she was great to. The haircut and service was great.The membership registration is confusing, as I couldnt use my gift card to pay for a few months of membership, and it was tough explaining why it doesnt make sense to charge my credit card until after my gift card was depleted.

Kiauna and her staff are the best in the business! I enjoy getting my beard and neck trimmed up, the straight razor have and hot/cold towel treatment. There is a bar if you are a drinker or coffee/water as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill. Enjoy!

My hair was out of control. Over a half inch in length in some areas. They trimmed it up to an even quarter inch on all four sides. Eyebrows too. A splash of cologne and I was ready for my date tonight. 👍

Come check this place out. I got a haircut Thursday and came back Saturday for a manicure. There were a few guys getting pedicures, one I knew and will remain nameless, and they were enjoying themselves. Heather was very personable and she will tell you that she will “get you right where you wrong”. Bourbon and a manicure on a cold Saturday afternoon - I can get used to this.

I tried this Barber shop for the first time recently. As someone who needs a cut at least twice a month I like that its membership based and I get two services a month for less than what I was paying at my previous shop. Friendly knowledgeable staff and its a super cool atmosphere. Highly recommend

Love this place. The setup is perfect and very inviting. If I had to get a haircut during a game, I could enjoy it here. The most important thing is the consistency. So far Im able to make appointments with the same stylist month after month. I dont know if other guys are looking for consistency like I am but I know its important to me.I wanted to add to my original review. I see some recommending going to Blue Star and other local barbers. I have sat in Blue Star for 2 hours waiting for a barber. I dont know if they offer reservations now but back then they seemed to pride themselves on the fact that they didnt. I think they thought is was cool people sat and waited for 2 hours. My time is valuable and I havent been back since. I also used Roosters for quite some time because they did indeed offer reservations. Their problem was consistency. I had the same stylist/barber maybe twice and I used Roosters for multiple years. If I liked someone they were certain to be gone the next month.Hammer & Nails is the best option in town and in my opinion its getting even better.

Came here for a haircut and was blown away by the services provided. Haircut was done very well by a man named Tony and it came with a hot face towel and they washed my hair afterwards, all while I got to sip on a drink on ice because they have a liquor license! If you’re looking for a full blown hair/beard cleanup or even some manicure or pedicure, this is the place for you men!

I was always a guy that just went to get my hair cut, kind of like running an errand. I ended up with so so haircuts and experiences that were never really great, but never really bad. Coming to Hammer has been an awesome experience for me. The staff is always there to greet me when I walk in the door, Kelsey gives a great cut, and I never have to tell her what I want done, she remembers me from the last time. Also, at first I had a stigma around getting a manicure or pedicure, but having them done at the shop is awesome, you wont regret it.

One of the worst haircuts Ive ever received. I was taken back 50 minutes late. The girl who cut my hair told me she had been working at a discount chain until 3 weeks ago. Beware and stay away, you can do much better in the city of Columbus.
