After someone hit my front bumper on my new 2020 Tesla model S, I contacted Tesla for the repair and they referred me to Rife’s Auto Body as a certified Tesla repair shop. They made my car like new again. They even coordinated everything with the insurance, Tesla, and replaced the protective covering film I had on the bumper and head light.

Rife’s repairs to my Tesla after an accident are perfect. They kept me in the loop via text messages. The amount of time it took to get the car back was a bit longer than expected, but the quality repair was worth it.

The initial experience while dealing with pricing between insurance company and the body shop was bad. I was asked to foot a bill of about $6000 inspite of being fully covered. If i hadnt stood my ground I would have been responsible for the bill . The Body shop should have been more helpful from the beginning. Only at a later stage did the manager get involved and got things moving. Also the car was in the body shop for 3 MONTHS which is lot of time for the damage my car had. apart from delay in shipping issues, one of the repair guy was gone for more than a week for a workshop delaying the process and me having to pay for the rental car that i have . Charging $150/ hr initially, for paint unlike other tesla approved shops is also not right.Handling insurance payment issues, delay in repair, charging exceedingly above average pricing for paint, at . All these were problems. Apart from this the repair itself, communication about updates and personal experience at the work shop get top marks.

My brand new Jeep got rear ended 2 weeks after I purchased. Frame was bent, bumper messed up, some dents on side panel. Rife’s did an amazing job with my Jeep, and making it look brand new. The employees were great to work with and keeping me updated on the process. I would highly recommend Rife’s.

The shop itself does excellent work and they’re quick! This was the second time I’ve used this shop and the first time I dealt with Al, he was fabulous from the start and the reason I returned. However my second visit I wasn’t impressed with the office staff. There was lack of communication from Grace. It would’ve been appreciated if she was courteous and sent a follow up email confirming the appointment upon receiving paperwork. Also keeping me updated along the progress of my vehicle would’ve been a nice gesture; not just a call stating my vehicle was ready for pickup. Upon picking up my vehicle Makenzie had a slight attitude towards me and not sure why. It doesn’t matter if you have a bad day or not you’re still doing a customer service job and should treat people with respect.

Rife’s was recommended to me by my parents who have been taking their cars there for years. Unfortunately my experience with them was not what I was expecting.My car was hit by another vehicle and needed repairs to the back bumper and I said on multiple occasions that my alignment was off and pulling to the right due to the accident. The representative we were assigned ordered parts before confirming with us how much we were willing to pay out of pocket if the insurance company did not increase their estimate, we had to call and ask for an update and then get him to cancel the parts ( we were about 2,000.00 apart on what insurance was saying they would cover at that time) we finally agreed to no more than 250.00 out of pocket for all repairs listed in their assessment - which included an alignment - when I picked up my car I was told that we actually wouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket and they had gotten the insurance to come up and cover the full amount of the repairs. When I got in my car and drove off my car was still pulling to the right and my steering wheel was shaking so bad on the highway it was hard to control. I immediately called back and was told that in fact the alignment ( and who knows what else ) was removed from the final agreement with the insurance company and it might be a quote “ fluke” that it started right after my car was rear ended. I was told I would have to take my car to a dealership to get it assessed and see if insurance would cover it and they quote “ didn’t deem it unsafe so they did not contact me to ask if I wanted it fixed” it seems clear to me no one at the shop bothered to drive my car and do a full inspection of my frame - I was told only a visual inspection was done - I’m hoping that all that is wrong is an alignment but after my experience I’m unsure if things have been repaired or evaluated properly.I am now getting my car aligned at another shop and will not be taking my car into Rife’s in the future. I’m still so amazed that they would let me drive off in a car that was not fully repaired and said nothing about it to me.

Rifes did an excellent job with my 2014 Ford Explorer after it was involved in an accident with a careless driver. They worked with my insurance company and kept me up to date with the status of repairs. The truck was close to a total but they managed to put it back together and it looks better than when I bought it. The quality of the repairs were first rate and they matched the paint perfectly. You cant tell the vehicle was ever in an accident. I want to thank Garrick and Conner for their professional work and attention to detail. 10/10 will recommend to others.

They really are the best for luxury vehicles. I’ve used them twice - one on a Tesla and the other on a Range Rover. They do it right and with pride. They had a great relationship with the insurer which is important. I would definitely use them again!

Rides made it so easy for me to get my side panels painted. they gave me a ruff estimate at a car meet that was like maby 2 bucks off actually. allowed me to drop the parts off at the car wash due to my schedule. and did the job in a timely manor as well as go above and beyond on quality. the peices turned out amazing.

No collision event is a happy time. That said I am almost happy i got to deal with AI at Rifes.I was hit and run 700 miles from home in a private parking lot in a no fault state and the although I ran down the offender on foot in traffic and she admitted then and gave me insurance into she denied later and had to fight with her.All that said AI was patient and professional and always a smooth part of the process. He dealt with both insurance companies and made sure my Audi was fixed right with OEM parts. Someone hit my 2016 VW Golf with a box truck, and I was referred to this ship by MAG VW in Dublin. Their work was great, like nothing ever happened to my car.The people I interacted with were very friendly and told me exactly what they did when I came to pick it up. Although, I wish they would have contacted me more with updates as they were repairing it.Ill definitely recommend this shop to anyone with a VW, as it is also the only certified VW body shop in central OH.

Tesla Model 3 had damage to driver side rear quarter panel. Car has been restored to pristine condition. They did a fantastic job on the car and made it perfect again.The whole process was very slow, and I think this is mainly Tesla’s issue. It took several weeks for insurance, then a month for parts to be delivered and finally a month to get the repairs done.Throughout the process they kept in close communication with texts which was very nice. I highly recommend Rife’s for the quality of their work and professionalism.

They always do a thorough Inspection and high quality work on the vehicle . I’ve worked with them a couple of times now. I’m very particular about who works on my car and I feel comfortable and please with Rife’s work. The only challenge was the communication between the shop and the insurance company. It’s not the shop’s fault but the insurance company creates delay in processing payment that could delay your pickup after the repairs. There has to be more close communication so both parties have the correct expectations for repairs finish date and payment allocation.

My insurance company wound up totaling out my car, so I cant honestly speak to the quality of the work. But they were helpful and prompt to communicate both with me and with the insurance company! Would definitely recommend.

I had a passenger side mirror and housing to be replaced. Original estimate included the cost to paint housing when it arrived. When I went to have it installed the charge was $120 LESS because the housing came prepainted. I would have never known that but Rifes lowered the bill anyway. Thats INTEGRITY!! Drove my A6 safely for 6 months with very slight hood and front bumper damage. Took it in after getting tired of seeing the damage. Initially quoted $7,500. Insurance quoted $3,200.For absolutely no good reason they removed my whole headlight on both sides. They had zero damage, and I never mentioned anything about them needing any work. They managed to break the clips that hold the headlights into place, and therefore needed to replace the whole assembly on both sides. $1,740 per headlight assembly.Also claimed my supercharger radiator needed replaced. I had just serviced the supercharger. If something were wrong with the temperature I would have known.The updated quote was over $12,000! Obviously totaling my perfectly fine car. A car I just spent $4,000 on so that the motor would easily last another 125,000 miles.They told me after, Oh we can actually fabricate a headlights clip and not have to replace them. Updated quote of $7,700. Except, we cant do that with insurance, wed still have to bill them for headlights. BS! Acted like I had a choice. Car was nearly paid off and Im forced to settle for a worse car for 5 more years of payments.They wouldnt even do the bare minimum in putting the damaged, but OK parts I drove the car in with, and let me take it home or anywhere else. Safety. BS! They basically stole my car. Will never bring another car here, and will tell everyone I know to stay the heck away!BTW Rifes is one of only two Audi Certified body shops in Columbus. Please give Byers a shot first. Your ownership of your car may depend on it!

I’ve been here twice for minor body damage on my Tesla Model 3 and both times it has been a positive experience.

They were wonderful about keeping us up-to-date on exactly what process the car was in. It was so helpful to have these updates to know when the car would be ready. They also worked with our insurance company which took the load off of us. It was direct contact between them and our agent. They went to bat for us and got everything handled. I have a brand new, 2020 Jeep Gladiator that got rear ended, there had been some damage to the bed, and the tailgate needed ripped out. I had to deal with 3rd party insurance that ghosted me as soon as this Corona-virus thing started. I had to then call up my insurance company to take care of this, but they were just going through the motions, and didnt care much about my vehicle at all, and it was overall very frusturating.This is where Rifes come in, I called a Jeep dealer and they reccomend Rifes right off the bat. I took the jeep in, and they squeezed me in for an immediate quote, and then once I handled insurance, they took it right in. Al Tidwell went above and beyond with helping me out. He understood my concerns of it being a new truck and made sure the right repairs were made, and made well. He also sent constant updates and images of updates to keep me in the loop the whole process. They went the extra mile to get parts (spare parts for a new 2020 vehicle during a pandemic are a bit hard to get) and got me truck back to me. They also installed an aftermarket bumper, that I bought, for me during the process! No extra charge, and they made a custom harness for me when the wiring didnt fit in the bumper I gave them.100% reccomend this place to take your vehicle to. They do great repairs, have great customer service, and to fix your vehicle as if it were their only priority.
