I called to make an appointment because I was traveling from Massachusetts to New Jersey. Was told to book on line. But what I wanted which was only design, I was unable to book because it was an add on. I called back and was told to walkin. I asked are you sure she said yes. Got to the salon and explained the reason for my visit only to be greeted with attitude. The wait was 1 hour which I didnt mind but was the attitude that did it for me. Not sure if the woman is the owner but she need to learn how to speak to people. This place was HIGHLY recommended to me just to get disappointed. Thanks for the attitude and thanks for not servicing me.

Enjoyed my first visit. Place was clean, staff following COVID protocol. Great work, looking forward to going back. Also affordable and appointment was easy to set online. Plus they are open on Sunday.

Excellent BLACK OWNED shop. My nails are fire 🔥 and i wear them short. So you know if a tech has skill she can tear up some shorties as well as claws. My new spot for sure..so worth the prices.

I was a first time customer. The nail technicians were very professional and friendly. I LOVE my nails. I got a pink and white ombre with an extension. Miriam was my nail tech. She paid great attention to detail; especially shape. It was apparent that she loves her work. I cannot wait to go back.P.S. cash only.

I loved my nails and how they came out. Lala was cool as well. We had good conversation and music. She is a very supportive and encouraging black woman and I’m here for it! I will be returning. I finally found a spot where I think I want to stay and it’s less than 5 mins from me lol 🙌🏽🤎✨

Great customer service. Quality nail care. An array of nail polish (colors) what a lovely selection. The shop is so lovely and clean. They use a brand new nail file when they work on your nails. The owner is pleasant and creative. She creates a wonderful vibe in her shop! Will be a returning customer.

The place states it opens at 10 am but there’s only one nail technician in the place and claim they don’t take walk ins...confused since there website states walk-ins welcomes!Based on the attitude and comments, I’m convinced this place don’t like being in business and money! You should be ready to accept customers if your business open at 10 am by the way I arrived at 10:45 so you had a headstart!!!

Worst nail salon experience ever. Took almost 3 hours to get a basic manicure and pedicure. Very rude owner of the place. Constantly on her phone. The owner stated on the phone that walkins are available. I get there and get my pedicure done. Apparently it’s by a younger employee who works there, which is fine. She was polite and worked hard and was kind. I guess she is not able to do designs so I had to wait for the owner. Which is still fine. I see it’s getting closer to time I need to leave for a meeting and I say it’s okay I’ll leave. At this point I had only my nails cut and shaped. I find out she charged me for the entire manicure, stating that a manicure doesn’t mean a polish. But why is the entire manicure price include the price of polish then? I assume like everything in a business, everything has its cost. So I say okay since you’re charging me I’ll just stay and do a regular manicure if you’re charging me instead of gel. And I pay. But then the owner lies and tells the girl who was doing my nails to move on to the next customer even tho before I paid she said she could do it for me now so I could leave. I’ve never seen this kind of awful terrible service, where a business owner lies. I apologize, but you don’t deserve to own a business. I never write reviews because I know it can affect people’s livelihood, but this is unacceptable service. I’m okay with being rude and charging for services that weren’t done, but please don’t lie for the sake of your business model.

Not only is this business black owned but she also promotes good, overall health for nails and skin. She is a small business but very accommodating and honest with her clientele. I had a great experience there.

I enjoyed getting my nails done but the quality of work is poor. My nails were beautiful when I first got them done but within 24 hours the nail paint starting cracking and the rhinestones started falling off. By day 2 the nails looked horrible. Before posting this review I sent her an email asking for her to contact me to schedule to fix it, and I recieved no response. I was excited to support this shop but with the way my nails look now I dont even want her to fix it. I am very disappointed.

Atmosphere is relaxed not catty. Even clients have conversations with each other like they have bee. Friends for years. I always feel welcomed when I go for my services. I would recommend making an appointment. U will have to leave a small $20 deposit to book but will be credited towards your services. I am personally ok with that. I always love my services. My nails and pedicure always turn out beautiful. I always take their advice concerning my nails. They actually care for your nails not just do them and take your money. I rarely do reviews but I love my nail salon Exclusive 💅💅💅

Professional services,relaxing atmosphere!

I was very excited initially to begin going to this nail salon for personal reasons but only to eventually be very let down in finding out that I was overpaying for what I had, in the beginning, thought was quality service/results. Unfortunately I would never suggest anyone to go here for an acrylic set as they will break and pop off like press ons constantly and the owner, LaLa will expect you to keep coming back and paying $7 to fix each one even though they could’ve just been done right and with quality things the first time so all the fixings and inconveniences wouldn’t even take place. She will expect you to also keep booking online to keep coming back to fix each one...only until she decides to stop approving your appointment requests and leaving you hanging with messed up nails that was her fault. The gel polish also peels off of the acrylic nails - where does that happen?! These issues will come up with your nails in less than 2 weeks of getting them done. If i could add photos I would. I’d never suggest this nail salon to any friends or family unfortunately. Especially since I felt I was very patient and understanding with her initially as she runs a one woman show there. Ultimately, my business was not appreciated and would definitely rather spend my money elsewhere so my nails can last and I get my money’s worth and doesn’t end up overpaying.

Such great service and they are open on sundays! (Hard to find in Jersey). I was a walk in and waited about 20 minutes for a manicure pedicure. They offered refreshments and friendly conversations. They also give a discount on your 10th time coming back. I also love the fact that they accept card. Definitely will be a returning customer.

The place is very clean and higenic. The service is amazing, but most importantly Lala is very nice. My boyfriend and I walked in for the first time and we are definitely coming back.

The worst service I have ever had the nail tech spent the whole time on her phone..I asked her not to use the grinder because my nails become weak when the polish is taken off and she pretty much told me she is doing it anyway. The salon is visually stimulating but they should spend the same effort in taking care of clients needs. The salon is usually empty and I see why. Extremely poor service a lot of combative attitude the manicures dont last very long.

I really didnt want to leave a negative review because I was so excited for my first time. However, my nails are unsatisfactory and I am not pleased. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment.

The girl who did my nails did a good job. The shape was right & everything. But a week later my nails starting lifting & two nails had already fallen off a week later. Theyre definitely overpriced for nails that dont last long. The customer service isnt the best, the woman who did my nails was very nice but the other two ladies, not so much. They dont greet you when you come in & the Asian one has a very nasty attitude. I usually give second chances but Im not even sure I wanna go back. Im only giving three stars cause I liked the girl who did my nails because she was so nice!

High quality work in a super clean environment

Tried to support black owned, had an appointment for 330pm on Friday and got a confirmation. The sight said leave a deposit it never took me to a sight to make a deposit. When I went for my appointment I was told I dont hold an appointment if you didnt pay the deposit, I told the woman the sight never directed me to make the deposit. I wasted time and gas traveling to this salon to be told she cant take me. Very unprofessional.

Worst customer service..They overpriced plus the second a client walks out, they start talking about the service the client needed, specially if you go get a pedicure the minute you walk out they start talk about your feet. The owner is even worst..She has a nasty attitude the girl named Dee as well they are very judgemental...Take your business elsewhere!!!

Amazing place! I love the creativity from Mirium, she is always professional and on point. Ive done my nails since I was 16 and move around all the time but when I came across Mirium about 7 yrs ago I dont let anyone touch my nails. Thank you

I am just going to dive right in to the pros and cons of this nail salon. Let’s start off with the pros; the first being how beautiful the shop is. Whoever hand picked the decor for this shop has fabulous taste. The chairs are quite comfortable and the music choices were great. Well, alrighty then, that’s all the pros that will be discussed in my review. Now on to the cons, and there are quite a few. The first con being how unprofessional the nail tech was regarding her language and vocabulary choices. When I am spending my hard earned money, I would like to come into an establishment where there is not a bunch of cursing. I get real irritated going to black owned businesses and seeing black employees act unprofessional. Just because I am also a person of color, doesn’t mean that you should lower your professional standards. We are not homegirls, chilling at home, gossiping over a cup of tea. If you value your business, stay professional at all times. When you have clients, discussions should be formal not informal. The next con is how my nails were done. With my frequent visits to various nail salons, I have never received so many cuts from a nail filer until I came to this shop. The sides of my nails were filed way too much. There were moments that I had to snatch my hand away because it was getting ridiculous. Also, the length of the nails on one hand was not identical to the nails on the other hand. Most people might not notice this detail; however, I’ve worked in numerous nail salons myself and I know what uneven looks like. The nail designs were also average. Overall, my experience was not a great one.

Admirable effort but in desperate need of another expert nail tech as there is only one at the moment who can provide any intricate nail work.

To start off, I dont want to hurt this business with this review but I want them to improve. I am very open to giving them another chance. Here was my experience. The first time I went there I called and made an appt.(over the phone) I asked them how long do they think it would take to get the SNS manicure done. They told me with soaking about an hour. I told them I did not have a lot of time so they suggested to make an appointment. I was like okay pencil me in...they proceeded to charge me 20 dollars for a deposit (I dont mind). When I get there ( 5 mins early) I walk in and love the decor even though the chairs are uncomfortable. Also they have great nail color options. I ended up after I scheduled the appt waiting about 20 mins before I started a soaking my nails. They soaked the SNS off which they charged me for and it took forever. Never in my life had soaking taken that long. Then I finally got the SNS started. That part took about 40 mins. The women who did it did a sloppy job. My nails were shaped weird, she was on the phone the whole time, and the clear polish they usually put on top had some bubbles. Next they put lotion on your nails which I love. I also want to point out that they dont reuse anything and its very clean. I leave after about 2 hours or so. Mind you they told me an hour and charged me 20 for an appt! The nails didnt last more than a week before they cracked and usually they last about 3 weeks. I soaked them off on my own and gave the salon another chance.This time I walked in. I was helped right away and did gel polish instead. Like I said the colors are great and they are very clean. She did a great job on the gel nails. The nail tech that did my nails was the same person I had before.At this point, I felt better about this salon so I decided to try again. I went in about 3 weeks later. I asked the same nail tech that did my nails twice before about how long they think the wait will be and about how long would it take for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The nail tech said 20 minute wait and each service takes about 35 mins. I was like okay no problem. So Im sitting there on the very uncomfortable chairs. I end up waiting about 40 mins and then decided to leave. I get up and the lady asked me to wait 5 more mins. I kindly say sorry I cant. Then I walk out.After saying all that, I think they are on the right track...they have great colors, great products, lovely decor. The customer service needs to improve. If someone checked on me while I was waiting maybe I would have stayed. No one checked on me at all. Also there needs to be a rule about using phones because very unprofessional to be on FaceTime with your family while you are doing my nails.Also the way they do SNS is not good. They need to do a base layer and use a better sealer so the nail doesnt crack easily.At this point I will not return. If some improvements were made I will change my mind. Thank you !
