Lucy was great! Made sure that my gel manicure was fully opaque and that there was no polish left on the skin

This place is great but a little pricey to what I’m used to paying for an acrylic gel set with the exception that I got a design on 2 nail. I payed 60 plus tip which was five each for two people that worked on me. I asked the lady to do more of a pointed tip but I was disappointed with the shape I received and some of my nails are uneven :(I wouldn’t go here again

I do not appreciate when nail techs are in a rush because it always leads to a poor quality job. I got acrylic nails done and I’ve never experienced this, but the nail tech just put the acrylic on my nails with out shaping it and then after it was dry she started shaping it. Even after trying to file it and buff it was still so bumpy and uneven. I kept telling the nail tech it was bumpy and uneven and she would proceed to try to file it more, but nothing worked. At some point I felt annoying (even tho I was the one receiving a poor quality job) and just said it looked fine. My nails are thick, bumpy, uneven, and I am just all around upset about the quality— especially since it was pricey. If you’re going to charge that much, at least meet that price with a good quality job.The only thing I appreciate about this place is their precautions for COVID. It was very clean. But I will not be coming back here again.

This place is right by me. I have never gone until today as their prices are about $5 more for each thing and I am usually saving money but today I was saving time and boy was this the right choice! I was only getting a gel manicure. They have tons of color choices and other fun polish options. They are very clean and nice AND (drum roll) super fast, which is exactly what I needed today! Coco Nails for the win!UPDATE: My gel manicure only lasted a week...while it was nice it was too short lived

Got my pedicure Friday the 9th for $28 and by the 12 polish was coming off. It looked like I had left polish on my toes for 1 month and it was cracked and it wasn’t like it was cracking from the top of the nail but it was from the bottom. I honestly wouldn’t recommend $28 is too much to be paying for mediocre results.

I go there all the time and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and they do a good job with my nails. Pricing is pretty much what I would expect. Would recommend them any time.

I love this place!! They are so nice and cooperative. This place holds. Spa, massages, nails! And another good part is its a good store next to it so you can eat and enjoy ur time at coco nails💕 I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE

I’ve been going for a while and I’ve had an amazing experience. They just renovated and the place looks nice and clean. The people that work there are nice and respectful and they know how to do their job correctly. The owner can be loud but she is very nice. Overall, I recommend you going there.

BEWARE, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! This place was absolutely the worst nail salon that I experienced in over 20 years of getting my nails done. The girl Sera was so rude and complaining as she was doing my nails because I had previously gotten a blue manicure. The hostess tried to help but as soon as she walked away this woman continued to be rude. I paid my money and walked out with no service. Do not go here if you are looking for personable people. I never post but needed to on this particular situation. Completely disgusted by the service or lack there of. I should have listened to the other reviews about the rude service

Been going regularly for 6 months. Have done powder and gel on my nails and regular pedicures. Always had a great, relaxing experience. Dip nails last 3 weeks on average.

This place is by far the best nail salon I have been to! Always fast and courteous service. Top quality products and people! I never thought I would travel to a nail salon out of town (sadly I love convenience) but this place is worth the trip!

Most importantly the place is clean. Reason enough. There is parking. I wish the owner was more welcoming, rather she can be aggressive and rude and It is quite possible that I have never seen her smile. Oh well...the price of beauty.

1st time here and this will definitely be my new spot! I scheduled an appointment by phone and was seen at my scheduled time (2pm on a Thursday). Lucy did my pedicure, gel manicure, and even gave me a shoulder massage while my nails were in the dryer! The mani/pedi was quick (in and out in about an hour and 15 min), but detailed and very well done. One happy customer over here!

It felt rushed. It looks pretty but it’s not luxurious or spa like at all. Loud music videos playing and I saw someone getting waxed. They didn’t even close the door! The massage with the pedicure was less than a minute and I just don’t think the actual pedicure was that good. The massage was nice though.My usual place was full so I stopped here because it’s very close to my home. It’s just ok. There are so many salons in West Orange and Livingston to choose from that are better than this But this will do in a pinch.

Tonight was my first experience at Coco Nails... ..the pedicure was magnificent - Michael was very gentle with my feet! My nails look great too! I like the fact that the staff wear name tags.

Nice and clean interior that was just recently renovated. They actually care about the nail and treats them with care. Best to go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when its not as crowded.

By far my favorite nail spot, her attention to detail and her accuracy is on point everytime! I have never left disappointed!

Owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Explaining to me the condition of my nails very loudly and aggressively. What I asked for (long nails ) did not receive as I was told I don’t need that bc I don’t have long nails ...my nails are short ... When asked how I wanted them shaped ( stilleto/pointed ) I was looked at like I had 5 heads I was appalled stayed to have my service finished ( Dip powder with full set) They are neat but it is not what I asked for. I give 2 stars bc the salon is clean. I also got a pedicure it was mediocre, I’ve had better. First time Trying out this salon, I’m all for supporting local business, and choice this salon due to the previous reviews I read but due to my experience I will not be returning.

Solid place to get a mani or pedi. $25 for a pedicure, which includes exfoliation, lotion/oil massage, hot stone massage, hot parafin on your heels. Wish theyd turn off the SVU on the tvs and put on soothing music instead- would make the atmosphere way more spa-like.Update: they recently remodeled and the update looks fantastic. It looks cleaner, freshw and more modern

UPDATE:I DID NOT REALIZE THAT I HAD BEEN TO THIS PLACE AND REVIEWED IT BUT NOW I WILL UNEQUIVOCALLY SAY I WILL NOT RETURN!Though it is nice and clean I had a terrible experience taking my 73 year old mother who they rushed and hurried and was very impatient with when getting her nails done. I too got a pedicure which turned out fine but the woman helping me did a very basic job. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUICK NAIL POLISH GO HERE. IF YOU WANT A FRIENDLY PLESANT EXPERIENCE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!THIS IS MY OLD REVIEW:nice clean place with lots of polish options and massage chairs. they take credit cards BUT you have to pay the tip in cash which is a pain in the butt to me.

I was at coco nails earlier today. Place is clean, and have a variety of choices, but thats all that can be said. Im concerned about the sanity of the tools. They used the same wedge and nail file that was usedon someone else on me. I didnt see it come out of a sterilizer. I went in for a mani& pedi. Staff was yelling at each other in front of customers, my manicure was done by 2 different people, 1 to clean the hands and 1 to paint. The painting person, who wore the mask, did a horrible job. the polish feels like its drying out in the bottle, she was doing a rush job and not at all friendly. The lady who did the pedicure was pulling on my toe cuticles so hard it started bleeding. I paid the extra $10 for the callous, they didnt even leave the treatment on for more than 1 minute. Some customers get a massage during their manicure, others dont. Staff definitely needs training on customer service!

Terrible experience from start to finish. The lady who did my nails was fussing to her staff and to me, and completely rushed the job because they were trying to leave on time. Also insulted me by calling me Wendy Williams, guessing because I am a black woman, however I bear no resemblance to Wendy Williams. Then charged me $50 for a service that anyone down the block would charge no more than $35 tops. About 3 days later my nails starting popping off as if they were Lee press-ons. The worst $50 Ive ever spent for the worst experience and service, never will I return to or recommend this place.

I have been coming to this salon since January and I will not go back nor recommend this place to others. The owners attitude is horrible. I loved the staff (not including the owner) as they are always friendly and welcoming. I asked if it was ok to bring my little one to get her toes painted. The owner said it was ok. Our first experience was amazing her toe nails looked great. A staff member painted them. The second visit the owner did my daughters toe nails and did a horrible job. When I say horrible I mean she painted her whole darn foot! She initially said she would not charge me for the bad job but when it came time to pay I questioned my bill. The owner talked over me when I asked if she would mind looking over at her work on my daughters nails, She refused and shoved the money back at me. The owner also rushed through completing my SNS nail service and they were bumpy and not even. Even with this trips experience I thought that the issue was resolved and Id just ask for a different nail tech. When I walked in the owner said she couldnt do my nails. I told her that was fine as I didnt want her but another tech (who was not in that day). She said she would have someone do my pedicure but not my nails she went on to speak negatively about me loudly to a salon full of patrons. This woman flat out rude. I declined her offer to spend my hard earned money for any service that came with attitude and bad mouthing of repeat customers. I vowed to never return and promised Id write about my treatment/experiences with Coco nails. Go elsewhere.
