Great service! We appreciate your help and professionalism getting a vehicle towed back onto our driveway safely.

I would have given them a 5 star rating because their services, timeliness and driver were very reliable as recommended. HOWEVER, the one negative occurred when I read their Privacy Policies administrated by CLOVER (12 pages) I was shocked what Clover is allowed to do with my personal information (customers) after the fact. Had I read their Privacy Policy for customers noted at bottom of receipt BEFORE using this company, I would have never used their service even though this is a great company.

Never a fun experience to have a wrecker show up. Driver was great and very curteous. Would certainly use Fountain City Wrecker again, but I would rather not have to. ;)

I had a great experience with this company from the call at dispatch to Mr. Marty the tow truck driver. Very friendly and helpful. I am very thankful Mr. Marty came in a timely manner when I was stuck on Alcoa Hwy. please be mindful when there is a service vehicles on the side of the road to “move over” thank you

Driver did an excellent job BUT, didnt leave my tow receipt. Left someone elses. Which caused me to have to make an unnecessary trip to Tow Company.

Wanted to charge 80 to my wife so I called and the guy try to charge me 75 when 6 months ago charged me 65 to drop it off in Alcoa from north Broadway Knoxville naw Ill pass found a better towing company charged 65

Fountain city towing told me to leave the keys in car and they would come pick it up and drop it off at my house because it was hot outside and they did not want me waiting in the heat. After two hours of waiting at home when I called fountain city towing. I was told that it would be another hour before they could pick up my car because they just got back to the office & had to pick up a wreck first no call, no heads up. Very unprofessional they would not even give me a quote on the price of the tow because of the driveways on my street we’re not very goodAnd after I pressured them and asked three or four times I was quoted between 85 and $100 so let’s not be confused

I had an accident on Broadway just a few weeks ago. Fountain City Wrecker Service was so understanding, caring and nice to me. I was pretty shaken up, very upset and in tears. The driver just happened to be driving by and stopped to check on me. Of course I used your services. His name was Big Guy John. Thank you!!

Horrible place to go all Around towing and service had my car impounded think hey all my items will still be there “junior” MR Chris decides too wants too steal phones they lied said they didn’t know what happened why would I wanna steal my own phone? that was in the car before I went too get my paper work to present to the front desk with junior . When I come back too my car too leave my phone is no longer there

I am so thankful there are still some good folks in the world. I called this company in need of someone to come let me in my car since my keys got locked inside. They were more than happy to come out and help but said it would be a couple hours but that was fine because we are at a hotel so we’d have somewhere warm to wait but I got a call back from Mr. Ron about 5 minutes later saying he spoke with a colleague that could get to us a lot quicker than he could and he didn’t want us having to wait any longer than necessary. The kindness he showed me and my little family is very much appreciated and I would imagine their service is just as impeccable. Thank you Fountain City Wrecker.

I was charged 150 dollars for a truck tow all because the cops called it in as a wreck. Ot was a little fonder bender. No debries on the road. Tow truck driver had to pick up ZERO debries as there wasnt any so therefore there was absolutely no reason we had to pay the extra 75 dollars. Honestly I feel robbed at this point. After calling the business to complain, my husband and I were given a reply of we have plenty of customers. By the lady who is supposed to be in charge. Very very unprofessional!!!

Marty was at my location within 15 minutes of me calling. He was quick to get to work, thought outside the box to prevent the need for a second truck, and saved my morning. Marty’s personality and cheer definitely helped to alleviate some stress of needing a tow truck.

Cant remember the drivers name but he was greatTwo weeks ago he showed up at the pilot station because my car had died.I was gonna get a towHad no idea what was wrong with it, wouldnt start.Tried jumping off from a friends car and it wasnt big enough to get it done.Then tried a another customers big van.Nothing . at that point i thought i was replacing a starter the next day.Was pretty depressed about the situation.Then Fountain City wrecker showed up and that driver was my hero >that was dead to the world 🌎Turned over and started up ☝. It was the most glorious sound i could have ever heard on a Friday night 🌙That driver saved me so much time and effort trying diagnose my car. At least theyre reliable and arent off fishing a tournament without having someone else to mind the business, nor do they book all of their wrecker for the weekend without allowing other potential customer to give them business. Best towing service! I was towed from the side of 75S all the way to mascot off old straw plains pike for $80. I was able to ride with the driver Marty.

I’ve used this company twice now but this time they cannot tow it off the impound lot without insurance. Last time they pulled it off without a physical destination address and took it off the tow truck. They can lose their license for this! The guy was rude enough to even hang up in my face.

Friday, July 24, 2020. Saw two of their big trucks running blocker side by side going into a construction zone and further choking down traffic flow. PD would have ticketed them as PD tries to keep traffic flowing, even in construction zones.Called their dispatch and was told they were looking for a broken down truck. They did not find one between exit 407 and the interchange with 640. Just impeding the flow of traffic.

Had my car stuck on the side of the road after it had been raining one night, so I called Fountain City Wrecker Service and they were out to me within 10 minutes! Very dependable, and very good customer service. I have called them for all of my towing needs since.

Called the evening before to see about getting a tow for next morning. Employee said call back at 8:30 a.m. I called at 8:28 and was told they couldnt tow our vehicle at 10:30 a.m. why? They have multiple tow trucks. Drove by at 10:30 and there were several sitting in the lot. Hhmm.

Ive used them several times over the years and the service was usually great. However the last time I used them it was to tow my sons car after a wreck. Everything was great until we got there to retrieve my sons belongings cause the car wasnt totaled. When I say we I mean myself my son and his girlfriend. This is where the service went downhill. My son and I get out of the vehicle to talk to the gentleman that came out to greet us. At this time we are talking to one gentleman. My sons girlfriend then gets out of my vehicle and when she does every employee that was inside all came out and started talking to this girl asking if she was my sons sister and if not if they were dating and if they were dating how serious they were. None of which had anything to do with my sons vehicle. It was so bad that I was embarrassed and I found myself apologizing to her the entire way home and I dont even work there. You would have thought these gentlemen had never seen a female before it was totally unprofessional. I never had this problem in the past when I dealt with them. I dont know if this is because of new ownership or what needless to say I will not be going back there nor will I be sending my wife and I certainly wont refer any females that we may know there. So just a word of advice if youre a female. Take someone with you and men dont send your wives or your girlfriend there.

When AAA refused a Premier RV card member to tow the 1 and 1/2 ton farm truck while we were standing in water, due to very heavy raining all day. Called them on Sunday afternoon and they said they would be there in less than an hour. 2 hours later, I called and was told that they came to the Petro Truck Stop but I wasnt there. After telling him I hadnt ( couldnt ) move, he finally said they just didnt want to come out on a Sunday afternoon. Terrible business. I would push my car before using them. Use as your own risk.

They got my vehicle out in a couple of minutes with no damage whatsoever; it was hung on a wall!! They showed up quickly, were polite and courteous, and the bill was more than reasonable. Their number is permanently in my phone.Edit: Im adding another 5 stars. These dudes towed my antique hearse that probably weighs more than their rollback. Again they were punctual, again they got it home fast. Seriously, I wasnt even late to work. The wheel bearing had come apart; this total badass tow truck driver didnt even break the wheel off hauling my heavy beast up the rollback ramp. If there was a button for 20 stars, Id push it for Fountain City Wrecker!

Coming from Cincinnati, our car broke down on I-75 just north of Knoxville as we were headed to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. Zach picked us up and and towed our car to the shop. Wanting to continue to our weekend trip, we ordered an Uber to take us to the airport and pick up a rental car. After having the Uber cancel on us, the Big Guy took us himself. Great guys! Used them for a tow when my car broke down. My front bumper scraped and cracked pretty badly coming off of the truck. This stand up shop is going to cover the damage. That sais a lot about their character. If youre looking for a tow, look no further.

They quoted me 30 minutes pickup, an hour later they had not shown up so I called them back and asked if they couldn’t find me, they claimed that they had sent somebody but they had to come back to the shop for repair, they didn’t bother calling me back so I could schedule somebody else. I called Fountain City Wrecker Service on Saturday, the guy was RUDE and very unprofessional. He seemed to be of little help on pricing or availability. While sitting at the gas station on Broaadway one of their drivers pulled up. He asked if I needed help and introduced himself. Mr Chad Smith was knowledgeable and very PROFESSIONAL.Mr Smith was a beacon of hope, in this dark world of rude unprofessionals.Would use them again, but next time I will ask for Chad Smith.
