Family Nails is the best nail salon in West Des Moines. They have the best prices, best staff, best environment, and best products. You won’t find anywhere better. Everyone is phenomenal at what they do and can do any design you ask! I’ve been coming here since 2017, no one does nails as good as Family Nails.

I walked in on a Saturday and they graciously got me in as quickly as they could. I chose the middle package pedicure and I’ve never had a better pedicure. The staff was incredibly kind and made sure I was happy with how my nails turned out. It was a great experience! I’ll be back soon!

Linda is one of a kind Amazing!! She always does the most beautiful nails with so much care and detail. I have tried a hundred places. After I found Linda I stopped going anywhere else!! 💕🔥

Super friendly staff made me feel very comfortable! I am also blown away with the quality. The acrylic doesn’t have bubbles in it like I have received at other establishments. Pedicure was very relaxing and they have high quality chairs. They have plexiglass up everywhere and are making customers feel extremely safe.

I’ve been going to Family nails consistently for years- and would even drive home to get my nails done here when I was in college!! Their entire staff is friendly, professional, and most importantly do a FANTASTIC job. I have never left disappointed and they are always very accommodating and understanding of what you want done. Jody specifically always does my nails and never ceases to amaze me- any picture I bring in she hits it spot on!! 1000/10

Great experience for my first time at Family Nails. I received a pedicure and full set acrylic nails. Staff was very nice and friendly.

My nails have lasted almost 3 weeks and that is surprising because I’m a nail bitter. I literally show up when they were supposed to close and they stayed open for my daughter and I. Really nice people and did fantastic!

Went on a saturday and they were very busy and short staffed yet they pulled through together as a team despite all the obstacles that came their way. Went in for a dip powder manicure and pedicure and they did a fantastic job, i also took my daughter with me and they did these tiny little flowers on her toes. She loved it. I will definitely return!

This is the best nail salon I have found. Im very picky when it comes to my nails (toes and fingers) and these people do it best. I see Jody for my manicures/full sets, she takes her time and does it right! I come out with flawless, natural looking nails every time. (Theyre under new ownership so disregard the older reviews)

Ive gone here for 5 years now and I havent found a place I like more than family nails. I do miss Calvin and vivi but the new owners are very kind and they do just as good of a job that the other people did.

The best pedicure Ive have ever gotten! I go back everytime in in town! I travel from MN for the best pedicure ever! Calvin, Vivi & staff are very friendly & kind and their shop is so clean!! You will not be disappointed!!

It was my daughters and my first visit. Im particular about my nails and Linh did a super job on my manicure and French tips and her manicure was wonderful as well. A definite must try😊

They ate a blessing for me;

Very unsanitary. The nail tech pulled and ripped my cuticles until they bled, now two days later my big toes are oozing and look infected. Techs did not wear gloves, and re-used equipment (I did not see any barbicide) and did not appear to use any cleaner when washing out foot basins. I will not return to this salon.
