I received a fill in and a pedicure on Friday April 9th, totaling $90. This is the result Saturday April 10th at noon. I am beyond LIVID, as I don’t have money to throw away.

My fiance when here to get her nails done for our wedding. She is completely color blind. I picked our wedding colors out (deep red, white, and baby blue) and to another store. When I came back to pay they had changed the colors to dark green, light green, and white. It was ugly as all get out. I think they tried to so like a galaxy thing with the greens and white but it looked terrible. They never said nor asked about changing colors on her.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I got acrylic nails at M&D and thought it would be great. After getting them done, they looked like the person did them properly but as my nails grew out I discovered that she drilled so deep into my nail it was not growing back properly. I had a huge dip in my nail from her gouging them with the drill, and now my nails are tearing severely. I spent $52 (42 for nails, and left a $10 tip) here for nails that looked good for a week and months of weak and tearing nails. Two of my fingernails (not the acrylics, the fingernails itself) has torn a quarter of the way down and are painful. My friends nails were also gouged from her visit here. Do not get acrylic nails here, its worth it to go to a better trained salon.

They drilled too deep into my nail bed when I got acrylics and caused my nails to have a dip in them. Not only were the acrylics poorly done, now my nails are tearing due to the excessive amount of drilling. One of my fingernails just tore off a quarter of the way down my nails and is very painful. Save your money and do not go here for acrylics.

Ivy is amazing!! At both pedicures, dip powder, acrylic nails, gel. Ive had it all by her! Ive had some bad nail experiences and i fully trust her! Go see ivy !

Went yesterday with a friend to get pedicures. We had an appointment and they got us in and started on our feet with minimal wait time. It was clean, welcoming, and professional. I’ve tried two other salons since moving out here, and for the price we paid, we were very happy with the quality and professionality of the work they did. My friend decided to also get a manicure, and she is not one to have ever had her nails look anything beyond bitten. They assisted her with choosing a style that suits her personality very well. Additionally, I had paid a different salon for a full acrylic set two weeks prior to our visit yesterday, and I hated them so much I was debating just removing them. The tech who had initially put them on had left them so grotesquely thick and long they were not only ugly but unmanageable. When I asked about getting them fixed versus removing them I was assured it entirely possible to fix. My tech yesterday not only shaved them down to a more natural size, she ground down the length and reshaped the tips, and the fill was so well done that with only a clear coat on you can’t see where the original acrylic meets the new. I was very impressed-they are 100 times better. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is due to the paint chipping on one nail a few hours after we left. Otherwise I’m completely hooked. In spite of the one chip, our nails looks fantastic! Glad we’ve found the salon we’ll be returning to instead of having to try every salon in the area.

I may not like the owner lady. More often than not, her advice/ opinion is not necessary, but Sam is AMAZING! I love her and her artistic ability. I always get compliments and its all because Sam is so freaking awesome!

My friend recommended this place to me. Today was my sister and I first time here. We absolutely love it and will be back every time. I had Ivy. She was great. My sister and my friend had two other ladies who were very nice and helpful. All three ladies did an amazing job. The price was good too. Mine coat $60 and my sister and friend costed $57.

My girlfriend got a gift card from her daughter for this nail salon for Christmas. She was in the area so she called and they said 30 minutes was the wait time, and had her name written down. She bummed around got there approximately 30 minutes later and walked in.. they acted like they had no idea that she called them. She showed them her recent call to confirm numbers and they said that was them. The guy told her another 30 minutes to wait, so she did. She went there with her friend who she had brought also. They took them back making it a point to sit them together. Both nail techs doing their nails then her nail tech left her and said she cant do the actual nail part. So she was left there with really long fake nails they had not trimmed yet and sat there for another 30 minutes. She was not able to even use her phone to curb her boredom. Her friend was about done with her nails by the time they moved her somewhere else and started to trim hers to length. Now, she did like the end result . They even discounted her nails 5$ because they knew she was not to happy but still being a good sport...The next day she woke up and two nails were chipped (with gel polish) then not even two days later she was folding clothes and a nail pops off. She is extremely frustrated and knowing she was there for 3 hours prior does not make us want to go back to even get it fixed. . So she just cut them all off herself and shes out a gift card and 15$ and multiple wasted hours of our time. Not the best experience.I hope her friend is having a better experience than she did, because she will not be coming back . Poor poor job.

Loved my first visit here. Very clean. Nice people. Got the best leg massage with my pedicure. She rubbed me for longer than it takes to do 4 coats of gel polish. Looking forward to going back!

This is what happen after 4 days. Due to theirs hours i had to wait over a week to get these removed.Maybe it was because they were busy. They first offered me a new set of nails at no cost and then they just refund at the money and sent me on my way instead.One lady tried to blame me for hitting something when all I was doing was pushing touch buttons on a computer screen

I use to go to the salon for over 3 years then I just got tired of always having to wait for my “appt” time. It really got to the point that it would have been just as good to walk in... especially when you walk in and wait for your appt and literally no one is busy they are all in the back talking and laughing while you wait. then the quality just got more poor because they were always in a hurry to get you in and out so the could rush the next person through.

They were recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint!!! So good and everyone was so nice.

They people are very helpful and detailed.. My girlfriend loved coming here.. we will be back

I love this place....so don’t let the bad apples in the bunch ruin it for others!! If you don’t have the money to get your nails done then don’t go!! Stop complaining and stop writing bad reviews!! Shena is the BEST nail tech! I as well as the hubby love her salon!! She (as well as her husband Leo)takes her time making sure everything is perfect and up to your liking before you leave. And after 10 times the 11th service is free. Not a better nail salon around!!!

Ive been going to Kim for couple years now. She only works on Saturday but so worth wait. Just a note other nail techs do great work here too i just prefer making Saturday appts. Mimi is also amazing. I will post example of her powder dip on me and gel nails on my girl.

I usually love the nails and the people that do them, so I feel bad posting this, but I feel like I should. I get acrylics and have gotten them done 3 times here. In my most recent visit, I wasn’t as pleased with my nails as I usually am though. I got a fill and he asked what length I wanted them, so I told him and he got the length I wanted almost perfectly. But throughout the time he was working on my nails, he kept filing them down more and more. Now they are almost as short as my nails are without acrylics. I like them pretty long so that was what bothered me. They are also pretty uneven compared to the other hand. He asked if I liked them but I didn’t want to say no (which may be partially my fault) because he was so nice, but now I’m thinking I should of said something. I’m rating a 3 star cause they usually do such a great job but this particular experience wasn’t the best. I still plan to come back, though.

Went in for a fill and like before, I left 100% satisfied. Im VERY picky when it comes to my nails, but they pay attention to detail and make sure youre happy with what youre getting as they go.

I can’t say enough how much I love this nail salon. I commute almost an hour to come here and I consider it 100% worth it because of Leo and Shena. Their manicures are of the highest quality, and the gel designs are applied with careful attention to detail and accuracy. Very friendly and patient staff. It’s worth every penny!

This salon used to be the best in Wentzville. The past 6 - 8 months, it has progressively gotten worse. The manager walks around hurrying the nail techs up so they can see more customers. You end up with a rush job that looks terrible. Also, I’ve been getting the powder dip manicure for a year or so and they used to coat my whole nail with the white base coat. Now they coat 3/4 of the nail with the base coat. After about a week and a half, the powder coat starts to separate at the top by the nail bed. Because it’s separating, it gets caught on clothes etc and ends up ripping the polish off the nail. The last time I went in I explained to the nail tech what was happening and she told me she would coat my whole nail instead of just a potion of it. Well, she didn’t! She only coated about 2/3 of the nail and did a quick and sloppy job. I’ll spend my $$ elsewhere!

This was my first time going to M&D, I had a great experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and made to feel welcomed. I had made an appointment the night before and they already knew what I was wanting, so they were trying to make it happen as soon as I came in the place! I went in wanting chrome nails and Sheena made sure I got the color I wanted and the effect as well! Kelsey was the nail tech for me. She made sure I was happy with my few requests that I had on how I wanted my nails. I am pleased with the service I received on my first visit. Very nice people with great customer service. I WILL go back. Im super surprised to read bad reviews. Im glad I gave them a chance!!

If it was possible to give them zero Stars I would! I called and ask ask if they have time to do a fill, they said yes in about 15 minutes. I went ahead and went in and told them I had just called, they said about 15 minutes. I explain to them that I did have an appointment but was willing to wait. A customer walked in who said that she had an appointment to get a fill, but did not remember to make her pedicure appointment and asked if they could go ahead and do it now before her appointment for her nails. The tech that finished up one persons set of nails, moved to do her pedicure, before my fill. Another woman walked in, and was a returning customer, not new like myself, said she was in a hurry because she didnt have childcare, she unexpectedly has come up with a few minutes and wanted to get her nails filled even though she didnt have an appointment. They took her right back to the table and started. I had been waiting 23 minutes at this point. I dont mind waiting, I expect waiting when you dont have an appointment, but I find this extremely rude and unprofessional. I was looking to establish myself at a nail salon here in town. M & D, may do a terrific job from what I saw as far as work, however, I do not feel that this is treating customer Fairley. I will be continuing my search for a salon.

One of the best pedicures Ive ever had! They did such a great job and the prices were great. Didnt feel rushed at all and we even went in 45 minutes before they closed. Very nice staff. I will definitely be back here.

Every 2 weeks i have my nails filled in and look forward to it every time! They have an amazing staff that are always on top of the trends. Have had my share of the other services such as waxing & facials and have been extremely satisfied as well. After receiving a pedicure you get to relax in a massage chair while your toes dry. Try them out for yourself, i recommend to all of my friends.

Small close quarters but not crowded more cozy. My friends and I showed up about a half hour before our appointment (knowing we might still have to wait until our scheduled time) regardless we did not have to wait. The nail techs popped out of nowhere really and had the three of us take our seats. So relaxing and enjoyable, I was sad when it was over. My very first pedicure in fact and I am definitely pleased with my experience. I didnt give five stars because I felt a little rushed by the staff but they were becoming increasingly more busy by the minute. I would go back for sure.

Me and my grandma just went here to get out nails done for my aunt and uncles wedding and I was impressed. Best nail place yet! I cant stop looking at them! My girl was nice too. 5 stars! Also if the staff reads this, I was the one who got 5-4, glow at in the dark.

I gave this place multiple times to get it right. I came here to get acrylic nails for about five months every 2-3 weeks. The owner never remembered me, and always asked if I had been in before and if they did my nails last. Got annoying after serveral months... when I made appointments, they NEVER got me in at my appointment time; always late. So I quit making appointments. I had multiple broken nails over the months, without having an impact on my nails. I was told that a girl didn’t do my nails correctly multiple times, but then wanted to charge me extra to fix it.. after finally giving up on this place and going somewhere else, I realize how many steps they skip to get you in and out of their chair as fast as possible. Won’t be back.

I enjoyed myself and they did a great job. Everyone there is very nice. Place was as clean as a nail salon should be, by the end of the day. I came in late. No waiting and they didnt rush. They didnt take to long and made sure I was happy with my nails. Included with pedicure only they give you the option to use their message chair. If you have the extra ten/fifteen minutes, I suggest you take advantage of that. Will be back, also I usually bring cash for the tip. Im sure they prefer their tips in cash, instead of including it on your charge card.

A friend and I went to M&D today on a whim and found out that it is under new ownership. The new owners, Lana and Lin, were extremely nice and accommodating and talented. My nails, and my friends nails, looked fantastic. I have been to many of the nail salons in Wentzville and this was far and away the best experience Ive had. I have a new favorite.

Ive taken my daughter here 3 times. For starters you get one price when you walk in and they start. Then when you show them your color for the 3rd time all of a sudden its a special color and its 10 dollars more. No where on the color charts does it say this. This has happen 3 separate times. They cheat you and raise the prices just before they put your color on. Dont go there unless you like throwing your money away. My daughter will never set foot in this place again.

Loved thus place! I had ombre gel nails done and they are perfect!!!! Very friendly people and the beat part was the great ventilation with the set up so the acrylic nail smell was minimal. Overall, reasonable prices and GREAT experience!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I decided to give this place a try because I just moved in the area. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I needed a pink and white fill and the gentleman was really rough and seem unhappy. He started to get even more rough and started rushing through the job when a regular customer of his came in without an appointment. He cut me to where it started bleeding and I had to return back the next day because my nails started lifting. I paid a total of $40 for my nails. And it looked like a $10 job. I came back for him to repair the lifted ones and decided to get my little girls toe nails painted by another nail technician there and that did not go well either. I will NOT spend another penny there. I will continue to drive to my usual place.

I visited this place for the 1st time and chose it due to the high rating on google. I am not someone that does their nails often but when I do its a simple treat. I have been to several places in ofallon and wentzville, I would never come back here. I walked in and was told 10 minute wait. Which I am 100% okay with, I explained that I wanted a manicure and as I moved to wait another customer came in to get a fill. She didnt have an appt but was ushered to a mani table. I was forced to wait in the chairs upfront. After waiting I was moved to a table and left there for another 15 minutes. I want brought anything to soak or even addressed I just waited. Once the employee sat down she barely spoke English and was soft spoken so I found we had trouble communicating. I am totally understanding of the language barrier but she was so quiet we struggled. I explained I wanted only a manicure, she asked about my length I pointed to her nails as an example of length and shape. She did neither. I told her I didnt want color and she lectured me about gel. I didnt need an upsell. Every other mani I have ever had puts clear coat on my nails even if I dont do color. This person did not, I got a half hearted application of location and was sent on with my nails oddly shaped and chalky.The staff was rude and made me feel as though I was unimportant. The walls were dirty, it was cramped and unkempt. I will go to nail pros next time.

I am relatively new to the area, and this is the first nail salon I tried. I absolutely loved it! The staff was nice!(& spoke very good english) My shellac looks amazing and lasts longer than anywhere Ive ever been! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Told nail tech that I wanted to protect my real nails and get them healthier, the Dremel-like tool that she used on top of my nails left them in worse shape... Still trying to grow nails that dont look like tissue paper that peels once it reaches the end of my finger.

Extremely unsatisfied. Even after making an appointment i waited 20 min. Then was told i would have to wait another 20 min to get what i wanted. I ended up not getting what i originally wanted. Even after explaining i was shopping for a new salon, i felt very rush. They didnt even remove all the nail polish i came in with.

Pretty much the worst pedicure I've ever had. I use to come here a lot then they changed staff. I have been in the chair 13 minutes and she's practically done. She barely cute or filed my nails, basically slapped some lotion on my legs and that was it. The music is a left over CD from a bad Karaoke bar. This place has completely gone to pot.

Went here today for the first time. Normally go to St. Peters area but havent been happy n since I have moved to this area it was time to venture out n find a new shop. Let me say they are awesome. Above and beyond on quality and staff. I will continue to go here from now on. And the massaging chair afterwards put planet fitness to shame. .
