Service was professional and my repair was done in a reasonable amount of time.

Definitely will not do business with them again! We set an appointment Monday to look at a vehicle it took them until Friday to arrange for us to sign the paperwork. Initially the lady we had scheduled the appointment with couldn’t see us so we had to speak with another salesman no big deal however when she did start handling the sale with us she nor anyone there would communicate and update us on the progress of the purchase. And when she would communicate she would only tell us little bits of info and rush off the phone. She isn’t tech savvy and had me send her the SAME information repeatedly and claim the information she needed wasn’t on it when it was, my husband had to turn around and bring the information to her when he got home from work. When we did get approved they only told my husband it was in the price we wanted but didn’t say the price and quickly get off the phone. My husband had to call daily just to see if they heard anything about the car and if we got it approved for the price we were wanting. That Friday we were able to sign the paperwork but with error on our part we had to have the address fixed but it was too late for it corrected this pushed the process further not a big issue however they kept saying once the paperwork arrived back to them we could finish the paperwork and get the vehicle. Called them on the day they said the paperwork would arrive and their excuse to not check on the paperwork was that there was no one in the mailroom to check and that we’d get the car Monday this would make it a 2 week process of trying to purchase this vehicle. They also made errors in the paperwork it still had my name on it when it was to have my husband’s on it.My husband had been patient and professional during this whole process. We moved on and went to another dealership, found out we were approved that day and signed for it! This process at ANOTHER dealership is taking us only a few days to get the vehicle we wanted.

I was happy that I chose Poage Chevrolet a very friendly group of people working you get the feeling that they really are happy I came in. I think they were a great value 4 wheel alignment on a 07 vette a little north of 130. I dont think they have a big employee turn over which is good seasoned mechanics work at Poage. Not Technicians I know for sure that I will return for work on my vettes. One more important thing Patience, because they put up with my annoying but. Thanks Poage for your honesty and integrity.

The team always has my families best interest in mind when servicing our vehicles. I dont feel like they are trying to drive revenue for a corporation by coming up with work orders and only supporting our needs based on profit. It feels like a family run business and I appreciate their honesty.Example: my truck broke down the other day about 45 miles from the dealership. I had it towed all the way to Poage because I didnt want another business or dealership working on my truck. Unfortunately the transmission broke but they have me up and running in 4 business all covered by the wonderful manufacturers power train warranty.

I made a cash deal for a truck with their salesman, I had the money in hand, was just waiting on Poage Chevrolet to get the title in. That was the hold up according to them, when I checked back to see if the title had come in, I was told they sold it out from under me to someone else. I had offered to put a deposit, they said it was not necessary, said the truck would be there for me to pay for and pick up as soon as the title got in. Can not trust their word. Have all messages to document my claims.

Again, I appreciate it!Just moved to Wentzville, and Poage came highly recommended. We stopped by the dealership, to inquire about getting piece on my Malibus seat fixed. Then gentleman gave us a price, and stated that it would take a few days to get the part in. He took down our contact information. It has now been month later, with no call from Poage. We have tried calling the Service Dept multiple times, they are always busy and cannot take our call. We were offered to leave a message, which we did today, but did not receive a call back. We wanted to do business with the dealership, but they apparently dont want our business. Such a shame, since they are highly recommended and get great reviews online. (Last name is now Henderson, which is the name gave the Service Dept.)

I wasnt here to buy a car but I have lot of thanks to share with the employees and especially the Manager, Randy Wells. I was a desperate Electric car driver on my first road trip and was not able to connect to a pay charge station near by. I drove into Poages lot, talked to two really nice employees and then met the Sales Manager. Randy was so nice, while I was having a coffee in their lounge, he even came back to tell me that one of the chargers was better than the other and we plugged me in to better juice! I purchased my 2016 Silverado from Joey Vassallo when he was at Lou Fusz in mid rivers. He took such good care of me; walking me through the purchase of my favorite truck ever. I loved the truck. I came for a work truck but saw the beautiful truck in the showroom and he helped me make the transition from construction utility truck to luxury “Cadillac” of trucks. I never regretted the increase expense and enjoyed making the payment. When totaled in ice storm 2/16/2021 I was heart broken (happy I wasn’t hurt-but heartbroken); I didn’t want a new truck- I wanted my Cadillac truck. I sought out Joey to help me remedy my broken heart. No other salesperson could understand because he was there in the beginning. There was nothing that suited my tastes on your lot, but while test driving Joey found me the closest new replica of my Cadillac truck he could find- he had it brought in from Arkansas. It was the only truck that would do. I love this new truck and feel right at home behind the wheel. Thanks Joey, you are the best!

After having a really lousy experience with another truck dealer, I found a truck that had everything I wanted at Poage Chevrolet. I made an appointment to check it out and headed down there. They had the truck pulled up ready to look at. I worked with Dale, he was a straight shooter. Walked me through the truck and its features and buttons (soooo many buttons!) and asked if I wanted to test drive it and whether or not I wanted him to come with me. We worked the numbers and found a deal that was agreeable for both parties on their pricing and financing. They had no hidden fees that werent spelled out in their add. They offered an extended warranty, which I declined (my employers covers repair/maintenance) but werent overbearing about it. Thanks for the hassle free experience Dale, Patrick, and Poage!

Talked to a guy named Dale about trading in my Mercedes. Sent pictures and details. Never got back to me. When I texted him after I got home from work which was at 3:30 am and did not expect a response untill next day because of the time. He replied I was supposed to get back to him? He also said I had no respect since I texted him at that time. I know the dealer isnt open then. Duh? I have since sold my car and was going to fly down there to look at the car and really planned on buying it. I wouldnt buy anything from this dealer if they employ a salesman like Dale. Stay clear.

Its not that anyone did anything wrong, but when I compare Poage Chevrolet to the other dealerships I have dealt with over the past 20 years, the service department is not as friendly and customer oriented as others. They do enough to get the job done, but thats about it.

I am extremely grateful for this dealerships professionalism and compassion towards my recent situation and if I lived in the area I would not hesitate to purchase my next new vehicle from them. As I was traveling from Wyoming to Charleston, SC, I had an unexpected mechanical failure of my 2017 Chevy Silverado which left me stranded and in a tough situation. I limped along and found the Poage Chevy lot and was immediately greeted by Randy Wells and Cory Johnson. If not for these two gentlemen I may have lost my mind; Cory went above and beyond anything I would have expected and Randy helped ensure I connected with the UHaul team and waited till it returned before he closed up for the evening. I also want to mention that even when I struggled the next day connecting the Uhaul truck and trailer together, Cory when out of his way to come to my aid by helping me connect the vehicles and get me back on track, home to my family.What makes a good business is the quality of goods they sell, but what makes a great business is the quality of people they have that to support their customers. Even though I was a stranger to the town and to the business, I was welcomed and treated like a close friend. Thanks to Randy and Cory for all that they have done to help me out of a bad situation; I will always consider them great friends and be thankful they worked at Poage Chevrolet.

I think the service manager needs to get his eyes checked. I took my vehilce in for a common issue and said he could not see an issue. I wish i could add pictures as it is a clear issue and just chose to ignore it. I am sure he did this so i would have to pay for it when out of warranty.
