Great family run business that has served the local community for years. My dad started having cars serviced with Howard and now the rest of our family takes cars to Scott. Recently I was in Wentzville for a day and discovered water leaking into car. Scott quickly fixed and got me back on the road. Highly recommend this business.

Needed an emissions test, was able to get an appointment in a couple of days. Fast & friendly service. They require masks and allow only 4 people in the waiting room, but the clerk was not wearing a mask.

This review is based solely on the fact that my privacy was not respected. I brought my car in back in February to have my alternator replaced. Months later it defected again and I had to bring it back. Due to the confines of my warranty I could not take it elsewhere, as H&S has a warranty on their alternator work. The associate called me today to tell me the situation and stated he “Found a bag with a pulley and drive tensioner belt in my trunk.” He even went as far as to say he found a “receipt dated from May,” suspecting that the issue with my alternator was due to my car being worked on elsewhere. He then tells me he still isn’t going to charge me. I am mostly shocked he so boldly admitted to snooping through my trunk to find a receipt that had to have been dug out. Extremely unprofessional. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The guys were great. The took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. They also identified another issue I would have not have thought of or even looked at since I had put new parts in just weeks before.You guys were right those inner Tie Rods were shot. I had just bought them online from 1A Auto and they had a 1/4 of play in them. They sent me replacements but I bought MOOG instead. Thats the 2nd component Ive bought from them thats failed prematurely.Thanks for the heads up. Those failing on the road could have been catastrophic. You guys got my business if i cant get to it. Thanks again

Highly recommend (I live in St. Charles MO and will joyfully drive to Wentzville for the quality of service that Scott and his team provide).Now to add to my previous review: I had taken my car to H&S about 6 months ago for some repairs, and had already planned to return knowing I needed some work done.I saved $1200 by going to H&S! Check engine light on (failed emissions). Instead of replacing the throttle body, Scott and the team cleaned it, and changed out the spark plugs and wires to tune it up and clear out the misfires - which was also throwing the code of (possible) catalytic converter failure. If it werent for the knowledge of Scott and his team, as well as their commitment to integrity and great service, the repairs would have cost nearly $2000 total. Thank you, Scott and team for taking great care of your customers. I think we ALL know who to call when youve got an issue with your vehicles!To sum up: Wanna save some money? I SAVED $1200 BY GOING TO H&S!

My wifes Sienna (02) has worn tires unevenly for at least the last 8 years. Last pair of tires I had the tires aligned at the chain store that I purchased from and then realigned 6 months later at a different shop, but they still wore unevenly and quickly. Went to H&S, purchased an upgraded Cooper tire and had the wheels aligned for $100 less than what I had paid previously at the box store and the car is tracking and wearing great. Ill be taking all my cars in for any work here for now on.

Received excellent service. Went in for flat tire repair, service Mgs Scott explained about repair since tire was driven when flat, new tires will be needed. Tires were ordered on Monday afternoon. Installed on Tuesday morning. Also tried to make appt for State inspection; but Scott said they would do that after installing the tires. Very pleased with this appt. I had a flat tire that needed to be plugged, a doughnut tire removed from my car and the plugged tire put back on. The guy got me in straight away that same afternoon. They did the work as soon as I arrived and were done in twenty minutes. They also put the doughnut tire back underneath my car instead of just tossing it into the tailgate. Cost $25.00. Worth it for working me in same day, quick service, and a little extra with the spare tire. ...And I can assure you, I am NOT a friend or family member.

Went there cuz starter cables were bad... their price was too steep.. i told them i didnt want to get it through them... they rolled my car across the street and now it wont start at all.... they also ripped the plastic off the bottom of the car and let it hang then grinded against the ground as they were rolling it out of the shop... they also left my battery clamps off.. my car would start before i took it there.. i just had to touch starter cables.. ... Nice response... still doesnt explain why you guys missed it the first time i brought it in... you only proved you didnt check the starter at all.... the computer isnt always gonna tell you whats wrong... sometimes you gotta actually look yourself... i was strainded at the emergency room with my daughters ear infection because you didnt wanna do anything except run your computer.. charged me 25 bucks to not even look at what i told you was wrong with it to begin with... try to charge 450 for something you comoletely missed a week ago...also dobbs charged me 100 bucks less...

H & S is the best repair shop I have found in Wentzville and trust me I have tried them all. Dobbs is way too expensive, Freds will give you the run around, but H & S gives me the exact repair I need done at the best price. Scott has always taken great care of my family vehicles. I highly recommend dropping off your vehicle at H & S for any repair.

Called that morning for an emissions test and was able to get in. I was thrilled.

They were rude to me and acted like they were to busy to even talk to me then when I came back to finish inspection he was rude again then was very rude to my wife when she went to pickup paperwork so I will not recommend or will I ever go back to these rude people ever

Not sure who is writing reviews for H&S tire and auto center but it must be family. Anway, I was working out in Wentzville on a construction job and my fuel pump went out on my 04 GMC pickup truck And I live in Collinsville Illinois so I was stuck and didnt want to pay a huge tow Bill back home so I saw this place has good ratings (must be family and friends giving ratings to them) so I went to them. Anyway, Terry the guy working the desk told me it would be $1,000 to change my fuel pump in the tank. If you know anything about mechanical stuff... well, there ya go. I also called the Chevy dealership to see what they charged and they were less than $500.00 for parts and labor.

I like that this is a family business since 1977. I tried them out before with a list of things my dealer told me were due to be completed. It was about $3000 worth of repairs and the owner (I think its Mike, sorry, bad with names) told me the manufacturer said 4 of the 5 things mentioned were not due for another 40,000 miles. Needless to say Ive stuck with them since.

Real nice trying to charge a friend of mine from out of town double the price the dealer wanted for a fuel pump replacement. Crooks plain and simple
