Happy 3 times:#1 Got my VHS tapes converted to DVD and was very happy with the quality and the low price!#2 My sons camera memory card locked up and Milwaukee PC was able to retrieve the data and put in on another memory card. My son was both surprised and elated!#3 Purchased a new desk top computer from Milwaukee PC and all the data from my old computer was copied without any problems at all.Everything was there! Boots up in 10 seconds, super quiet, they had my old computer 1 day to copy all my stuff. Their prices were better than the big box stores. Will return to Milwaukee PC for all future computer stuff. Took my 8 year old desktop in cause I was getting a watchdog loop error. Owner straight up said“I think I know what’s wrong, let me try a few things and I should have you squared away soon”Ended up having to just reinstall the OS, no biggie for me. Owner only charged me for the new OS and didn’t charge for the labor or diagnostic work. True businessman that has gained a return customer for when I upgrade.

I stop in on Wednesday, and they stot me stright where a big box store was not and cost me many days down. I am still down there is a tech coming to my office to set this system up.I will give five stars after I am up and running.

Walked in today and was helped by the owner Dave. Can’t express how great of an experience this was. I’m building my first PC. On paper, he got me $40 off my hardware. But he saved me even more where he could.Without me even asking!!!I was looking at spending $120+ on 16GB RAM. He set me up with an $80 set up. Said it’s all I need. Also saved me $100 on my SSD. And gave me a complimentary HDMI cordThe prices on the CPU are a just a few $ more than online. But you don’t have to wait for delivery. I checked out gaming desktops because they had what I wanted (but I didnt want the gaming lights). After stopping in to check out Milwaukee PC, and discovering that I could get EXACTLY what I needed and wanted for a competitive price, I ordered my desktop from Dave. Desktop works great. GET THIS...3 YEARS PARTS AND LABOR!!! Any problems in the three years with the guts of the machine I can take it in personally, instead of sending it across the country. Best of the best for those of us that value desktops.

Little pricey but better than scalpers

I would recommend Milwaukee PC as it pertains to media conversion, virus removal, and maintenance of your home PC over certain Big Box Stores. It would be better quality for less cost at Milwaukee PC. However, purchasing new equipment or cabling is much better to be done online.I recently purchased a new GPU in person. The tag on the box was 140% higher than MSRP or online. I was given a deal of 125% above MSRP. At the time, I thought this was a different GPU, so I proceeded with the purchase. I then realized I assume the wrong model, and I saw it was 25% less expensive with reputable sites. The return policy mentions a 15% restocking fee. Staff and I were able to work it out where I paid $25 more than MSRP in the end. My $360 GPU ended up at $375. It is my fault for not paying attention more to the model, but the deal sounded right to the model I thought it was at the time.It was also mentioned the GPU was sold out recently, but it was available everywhere nonetheless. This and the above left a sour taste in my moth. In summary, these local businesses are much better for media conversion, virus removal, and maintenance of your home PC if a family member isnt IT savvy and willing to help. The Big Box Stores or online are much better for purchasing new equipment at face value

Even though I would like to buy a refurbished laptop as well as either get my desktop repaired or purchase a new PC as well, these idiots wont return calls they promise to make or follow up with me when I call and talk to them. It is literally shocking to me this place can stay in business with this type of poor and pathetic customer service considering the competition for repair right down the road in both directions as well as the ease of getting a refurbished laptop online. These goofs deserve to lose business when they cant handle an easy guaranteed sale when I walk through their doors and tell them exactly what I want to buy. The person I was dealing with (FOUR TIMES) was somehow the branch manager....SCARY.

I was nearly convinced to turn away from this Milwaukee PC location due to the bad reviews, but out of timing and desperation ended up taking my laptop here for service. After receiving my laptop back in excellent shape at a decent price, I thought those reviews were unfounded and wanted to add my own.My laptop fan was dying, causing a horrible vibrating and grinding sound throughout the computer and rendering it pretty much unusable. My attempts to fix the problem by removing the laptops back cover were foiled by the fact that the fan was covered by other components and to be honest, the tiny screws were intimidating. I put off having the computer fixed until the last minute, when I really needed it for an upcoming college semester.I took my computer into the store, and based on the appearance I believed the negative reviews were confirmed- the store is small and ragged, with computer parts laying haphazardly on the shelves. It smelled faintly of cigarette smoke and the man behind the counter was wearing a dingy, baggy polo with the Milwaukee PC logo on it.I walked up to the counter, and was somewhat appeased by the employee- he was friendly enough, and quickly diagnosed that in fact, my computers fan was going bad. He was succinct and offered me several options as well as their price, along with the possibility of ordering a refurbished part at half the price of a new part. I then opted to have them replace the fan for a flat fee ($40).Less than a week later, I got a call from Milwaukee PC that the part had arrived and they replaced the old fan with the new one. I took the PC home, and it was working good as new. It was hard to believe that a fan could be nearly silent after being loud for so long.Overall, this place is decent. They did a good job with my computer and I guess thats really all that matters. I would shop here again.

Dont listen to the other reviews! I HIGHLY recommend the Waukesha location and David!I stopped in the Waukesha location to see if they would test my RAM. I was very glad to meet David. He tested my RAM and when it wasnt the problem, he was willing to take some time out of his busy day to bounce ideas back in fourth with me in an attempt to debug my computer problem. He ended up figuring out exactly what the problem was and even shared his personal experiences with the company I would have to send my motherboard into. This saved me hours of time.While I was there, three customers stopped in. These people all knew him by first name and spoke to him as if they were long time friends.If you are one to turn away from Milwaukee PC, I would highly recommend giving the Waukesha location a chance. Davids knowledge, customer service and overall willingness to help will change your perception of Milwaukee PC. Thanks Again!!

Went there twice for 2 different things, bought a HDD and a led strip. Both work excellent and I had a nice conversation with the guy on duty.

The most bizzare and scary experience I ever had in retail. I went to buy a CD rom. My friend gave me a ride and went in the store with me. I asked to look at their selection.The guy said they were on the back wall and began walking in that direction so I followed him. The guy (russian accent) then grabbed a chair and turned on me. He looked violent. He screamed something about me being Gay, threw the chair down at my legs brusing my shin . I thought he was going to attack me. Me and my friend left fearing for our safety. The only other customer, a women, looked mortified and scared, she left as well. Stay away from this freak hes nuts.
