It was super easy to get an appointment and have my questions answered. I brought a picture of the design I wanted and it was brought to life by Kevin, who did a wonderful job. He paid attention to detail and wasnt hesitant to undo little small mistakes. Ill definitely be back!

This is my favorite nail salon in all of DC. They always do my powder dip perfectly and is also incredibly reasonably priced. I’ve become one of their regulars. Can’t recommend this place more.

Kevin is the best! Everyone is professional and friendly. I am a regular and Kevin n co delivers every time. I normally get a pedi with gel set including design or different colors every 3 weeks. Priced affordable. Just a gem!

Been going here for 30 years. Unfortunately they dont use polish but Linda whose been there for years does excellent job in designing and foot massages. Kudos to owner for hiring Black Female from neighborhood working front desk scheduling appointments and playing music their clients enjoy. Staff does great work and customers appears to be satisfied as I am.

Really not a fan. They only do gels/acrylics, so if you’re just looking for regular polish that you can remove at home, you’re out of luck. My technician didn’t listen to me and refused to cut my nails shorter. And he kept trying to upsell me more stuff I didn’t want. Would not return.

Im very picky about who does my nails. Vivian has always done a great job on my nails and she always adding in tips to enhance your nails. There are others who work well on your nails too. Youll never leave disappointed.

This was the worst eyebrow waxing I have ever received. I asked specifically asked to keep my eyebrows thick and to just clean it up; do not mess with the shape. My eyebrows are the thinnest they have been in years and the left one is completely different than the right. I CANNOT BELIEVE MY EYEBROWS ARE THIS BAD.

I love this Bar! I recently just had my 40th Birthday here on April 14th and Terry and Joel made it happen I love their wings and Chris our waiter was super nice playing music I like to listen to. My Family and Friends where and made my day So special I would recommend yall go!

After getting my gels nails done.. They chipped after only 2 days while out of town I went back to get my nails fixed and the salon wanted to charge me for the polish change. Poor customer service. I just had them fix the 5 chipped nails.Will not be returning there.

This salon might be great if you only do acrylics. If you mostly do gel or natural nails, DO NOT COME HERE. I’ve been here three times and each time was worse than the last. The glowing reviews are all from women who only do acrylics. Notice there’s not a single mention of gels or natural nails.Honestly, other than their covid precautions, there are no positives to this salon.The nail techs are so rough with your nails, they rush to have you in and out. I get that covid is a concern, so they don’t want to make anyone sit longer than they need to, but the results are sloppy. Nobody wants to pay for nails that look like they were cut and filed by a 4 year old.The third and final time I went here, one of the nail techs chose to use an electric file to take off all the gel polish on my nails rather than soaking them off, despite the fact that I had booked an appointment for a regular manicure. She assumed I was there for a gel fill so it was okay to scrape the life off my nails. Later I chose a regular polish color because I had come for a regular manicure. She then LIED to me saying that the polish I had chosen was a gel one, not a regular polish. She cut me multiple times while trimming my cuticles and when I tried to explain to her I wanted her to buff the nails to make them a bit smoother, she pretended not to understand what I was saying.Bottom line take your money else where. These people will destroy your nails and act like they did you a favor.

Vivianne did a great job fixing my nails after I went to another salon who did less than great. My nails look so much better. Not to mention, they have a great selection. Everyone is friendly and abides by CDC rules!

Moon Is My Girl!! I started coming here about 2 months ago. Moon fixed a botched stiletto and coffin set beautifully and ive been in love with how she sculpts my nails. Shes my permanent nail tech.

Just moved to DC desperate for a gel manicure. Nervous about a new place after years going to the same nail salons for years. I AM SO PLEASED!!!! Linda/Lan is totally the best nail technician I have ever had, she is superior when removing cuticles and her polishing skills are like Monet(do you get the picture?) My toes and hands are baby soft and they are still tingling from the pampering. Prices are phenomenal and very little wait time. Oh did I mention they play slow jam R&B everyone was jamming and singing under their breath. Loving my life:)

I am new to this area, so I was a lil hesitant to try a new nail salon . To my surprise I am very pleased with the services and talent in this nail salon. Moon is the nail tech I went to the first visit I had . So with that being said when it was time for my fill in and pedicure, I went back to Moon. Wonder Nailz you all are awesome.

I called today, got an appt for a couple hours later for my first visit to this salon. I arrived on time and was immediately greeted, tempature checked, and told to wash my hands. I was sat with Kevin and he did an amazing job on my nails - he shaped them just like a gallery photo from their website and as a design bonus for myself, I also got the butterfly appliques from their site. He also did good with my eyebrow cleanup. I got a pedicure from Nina and she too did a great job. Im very impressed with the services I received (the reviews brought me here) and it will not be my last time. Please note that right now they only offer gel services because of Covid-19.

I came here based on the great reviews and asked for Vivian but Lucy took me and I was extremely pleased! I got SNS on my natural nails and it looks like I have acrylics on! She took me step by step on what each process does, asked me if I liked my nails and if anything needed to be fixed and made sure I was satisfied before she proceeded! Plus we had a great conversation! I’m coming back and going to bring my mom! Would highly recommend!

Today was my first time after quitting my previous nail salon and tech. As soon as I walked in the door they seated me and started. Nina was the tech. She was superb! All I had to say was Thank You because she knew exactly what to do. For instance, my pedicure cuticle needs a deeper trim than the average and when I pointed it out and let her know it didn’t hurt me she took care of it. She was patient with my indecisiveness on what color to pick. AND the Pandora station was cranking. Overall, this is my new spot. I will be back in 2.5 weeks.

Go here if you want your cuticles pulled instead of cut! Not only did it hurt to get a gel mani, it also didnt even last a week because the nail wasnt property prepared. I had my nails done by Nina who was in such a rush that I even asked if she had someone waiting.Overall terrible experience, couldnt pay me to go back there.

I love this salon but i never have a good result when Lucy does my nails. It’s like she’s always rushing and never does anything right. My gel polish chipped, she didn’t properly polish my nails with the top coat, she left polish on my skin. I honestly hate when Lucy does my nails, that’s y i try my best to avoid her.

This is the best nail salon I have found in all of Washington DC. The powder dip lasts 3 whole weeks easily, the technicians are friendly, prices are relatively inexpensive, and they always make themselves available the moment you walk in. Other places have ignored me to the point of walking out. You will not go wrong coming here.

I went to wonder Nail and the place is cute, the atmosphere is nice inviting, but my first nail experience was not great. The young girl who did my nails wasnt food. Then Vivian re did them they turned out okay. But I paid for my friends nails for her birthday and she was displeased and said that she will never go back. So ask for the right person.

Vivian designs are one of a kind and Linda gives the best pedicures. Always happy when I leave.

I had just went to another nail salon the previous week for a full set and the nail tech ruined my real NAILS! I came in here praying to find a great nail tech to save my life and Vivian was that angel!!!! She immediately told me she noticed the acrylic was laid too thin, she fixed my nails, made them my fav coffin shape, and gave me a new gel color that I fell in love with. She shaped my nails gorgeously and my overlay is now perfection! I will be coming to see her every 2 weeks. Thanks again Vivian!

I go between two different nail salons and both of them tend to be the same they sometimes do great sometimes they dont. I really would like to have them be consistent. I went last Saturday and got my nails done and by Monday Christmas day my gel nails tips were peeling.

Vivian did an awesome job, I absolutely love my nails. She also provided me with information about the many products they Offer and helped me pick what was best for me. She does lovely designs.

Mailien Vu aka Molly the shop owner has been my technician for over 20 years. She started doing my nails when I was 19, Im 44 now.She and her brother Ryan along with the Wonder Nails team Nancy, Linda and the rest are an AWESOME group who do phenomenal work.Ive never once been disappointed. This isnt just where I get my nails done, these guys are family.

Today my first time trying them out and they did a phenomenal job I had a mani/pedi and eyebrows. It was reasonably priced. Viven was so nice and I will definitely be back.

The woman who did my pedicure did a great job in spite of the ambiance of the salon being very rushed. I like a quick job just as much as the next person but this was different. They literally didn’t even lotion my feet after the pedicure lol and I’m of color so if I’m ashy it’s very noticeable. Any way this is just a testament of the quality of service. The woman who did my full set; I literally told her I wanted coffin nails before I could say a length she started cutting and smacked my hand when I told her and tried to show her she was cutting too short. I really had to exhibit self control in here. She repeatedly explained that she wanted to leave before 6PM and that she was tired and it showed in the way that she did my nails. She would shave a nail not even dust it off or ask me to wash my hands but paint over it. I had to say something to get her to do it over and she shook her head and began to huff and puff. Not to mention, she filed, razored and anything else you can imagine to my flesh and I’m actually proud of myself for keeping my composure. I wish I could add a photo to show y’all what she did to the skin around my finger. Needless to say if you do go I hope you do not get his woman. She has a bob, mole under her nose and wears glasses. You’ve been warned.Manager did call and offered to do my nails over.

I was disappointed with my experience due to the overall cleanliness and lack of sanitation of equipment. This is one of those places that doesn’t use the packaged and sanitized equipment. There were nails and dead skin laying all over the floor. I should have walked out as soon as I walked in.

I had the worst experience at this nail shop EVER!!!. I got my nails gel filled with Ombre French polish, by the new young technician I came back twice because the gel was uneven and the ombre was done very bad. I was told by the male on the second visit that I would have to pay to get it corrected. Why would any business charge a customer when they are the cause of the problem. I am very unsatisfied because I have been a customer for many years and I have never had this problem. I hope that you will try to compensate for this, or I will have to take my business elsewhere and you will probably lose other customers.

I guess DC just hasnt gotten a hold of the nail scene. This is another nail salon that just doesnt GET IT.I went in for a gel fill, explained the shape I wanted, gave details on exactly what I did NOT want and yet I, somehow, managed to leave with every last thing I requested NOT to have.The nails were too thick, stuck straight out without a natural curve, and the paint job was half-assed to say the least. I had to pay ANOTHER nail salon just to re-paint them.Total waste of money.

TERRIBLE service. I came in and the nail technicians were doing their hair. Their HAIR. Bush, blow dryer everything. It would have been different if when I walked in they stopped. Nope. They continued talking and everything. I had to wait till they finished which led to me not having enough time to get all my services done during my graduation weekend. Im sad bc I am a loyal customer but I have to find somewhere else.

There are about 3-4 women that do an amazing job. Vivian, Kim,Molly, and there a black lady with locs that does an amazing job too: Vivian did my nails, she did an amazing job and she was quick. The down falls about this place is that they are super disorganized if it becomes busy which it usually is on weekends. Nobody uses the sign in book, so when people come in they sometimes take customers based on if they seen you before. They had me waiting over an hr and skipped over me several times to take a more familiar face. So although Vivian did a good job, their customer service is extremely lacking, didn’t feel like a priority as a returning customer.I got the Fanta Seabreeze Mood changing colorP.S. the reason why I specifically requested Kim or Vivian is because I was waiting to get my toes done first but someone else was taken before me, so I opted not to do the toes bc of that then when Vivian was free to do my nail, she almost stopped because of the miscommunication (due to the sign in sheet not being used) and Vivian was about to take another woman over me and, some other customers Being serviced in line and I had to tell them that the other lady came in after us and Kim had one more client before me that daughters were never serviced until mentioned. So yes they have great specialty services but customer service still needs work.

My toes and feet were done well. However, my nails are thick, lumpy, uneven and beginning to chip despite the fact that several were done over multiple times. I spent 2.5 hours in the salon and left disappointed and frustrated. I will not return.
