Read the other recent reviews, the other one star reviews are spot on. I would highly suspect that any positive reviews are in house from friends or family of the business. My building in DC uses this service for the condo property management and the service is abysmal. As an owner, they do not respond to inquiries, they cannot be reached, and they severely lack basic property management acumen. If you or your building is considering using this service, I would highly advise looking at other options.
LIARS AND THIEVES. At one point Wexford owed me over $10,000 because they collected rent from my tenants and never dispersed it to me. When I called them out, it took them MONTHS to just pay me what was clearly and rightfully mine. The entire time they were my property managers they did not do a single thing they were supposed to. In 6 months they never created a budget for the HOA and took over 6 weeks to advertise my apartment when my tenant gave 2 months notice. That 6 weeks was spent doing NOTHING, despite my continued questions and communications about things like taking pictures of the unit or repainting. This was my worst experience ever.
I have been a Wexford client for over four years, and in the last five months, their service, responsiveness, and ability to process rental income to owners has drastically declined. I have left four voicemails in the past two days and have emailed every week for the past six weeks with no resolution. This business has a management problem, and I fear a cash flow issue. I would advise not using Wexford to manage your property.
The worst management company we ever deal with. Our landlord end up changing them. after 6 years of bad costumer service, not paying the checks to our landlord, no answers, bad representatives, and ignoring all our requests, we changed to a new management company, that is reliable. cant belive we last so long wth them....the Worst!!!!
Robert our property manager at Wexford has been an amazing asset to our building. His response time is immediate to needs that arise and has a comprehensive list of vendors who respond to issues ASAP. His communication is clear and thorough. We really appreciate everything he does for our building!
I lived in an apartment managed by Wexford for the past two years. I just transferred schools, so I had to move out, but the staff was always attentive and responsive. If there was ever a problem, it was handled quickly and there was good communication throughout the process. Their online system allows you to pay rent and report maintenance issues, and I never had an issue with either. Also, one time, about a year into my tenancy, my financial aid was late, and I let them know I would be two days late with my rent. Since I let them know well in advance, they waived the late fee. Id definitely rent from them again.
Wexford Property Management is absolutely fantastic. Working with Reece is amazing, he is always available and does everything he can to make sure any problem gets handled. I would recommend working with him to anyone!
This company was pretty terrible, I lived in a house they managed for over a year. We often had to ask multiple times for maintenance requests to be done and finished. Our washing machine broke and it took them 6 months to replace it. They were terrible at responding to emails and the phone number listed went straight to voicemail. Do yourself a favor and avoid them.
I never rented from them. I worked for them. That is the worse company to rent or work with! We didnt get paid for our work (and when finally did get paid), we had to wait on that!
So...did Wexford go out of business and steal everyones money? They still owe me over $3,000.00 in rents they collected from my tenant. Now all phone calls go straight to voicemail and the box is full.
Staff was very professional and helpful.
Very different experience for me. Wexford has a glitch in the billing system and caused an error. I’ve sent multiple emails and left several voicemails (no one ever picks up the phone), and there is no response from Wexford. The issue is still unresolved.
I would not recommend Wexford Property Management in DC. They would not respond to my daughters request to install a working fire detector in her apartment, which is required.
The management is on point.
