Average quality work for full acrylic set with natural base nail (I.e. no removal of previous nail enhancement required at this visit). The staff was very nice, talkative, and personable. Really appreciated that. The prep of the nail bed before applying tips was minimal to none. The only prep done was file out the natural nail shine and applying the dehydrator before the glue. The acrylic was laid down fairly well but some edges were a little clumpy and not extended to the cuticle all the way. Gel color selection is very wide so lots of choice and variability. Also got a pedicure and it was good. Good amount of time spent on the massage/buffing. All in all fairly average full set of acrylics and pedicure. However not worth the value. My total ended up being $80. when I asked foe the breakdown, the full set was $50 and the pedicure $30. Full set was only gel color. This felt steep for me due to their prices listed on their website and displayed in the salon. A full acrylic set was listed as $35+ and a pedicure was . For the full acrylic set to increase by $15 just for the gel color addition is extremely high in my experience. The average I’ve seen is about $5-$10 additional for gel color. Will continue to look for a nail salon to call home as I’ve recently relocated to Walnut Creek area.

One of the best nail salons in Walnut Creek, it is actually my favorite. They are super kind, if I have to reschedule or cancel, they are fair and understanding. They also do a wonderful job of doing my nails. The nail technicals take care of my nails and do not damage my natural nails. If I want an artificial tips, they shape it and cut it proportionally, so they do not break off easily. Sometimes they massage my aching thumb. Once I was coming too often, and my natural nails were weak so they told me to take a break to allow them to strength again. Good character!

This is a clean inviting space. The team working was helpful, friendly and lovely to chat with. They offer all nail and waxing services. They were able to accommodate a group of four on short notice. New pedicure chairs arrive Sunday, April 30, 2017. I would recommend Platinium Nails and will return on my next visit to Walnut Creek.

Kim is excellent, and she gave me a beautiful pedicure.Tony on manicure, not as good. My cuticles are all raggedy and his second coat of color was noticeably narrower and mismatched from the first coat. Pricing and chairs are good. I recommend making an appt and ask for Kim.

This shop is a little off the beaten path, tucked behind a tutoring place and karate studio. They do a great job on the cheap. Give a great massage and have a decent color selection. Best nail place Ive found in the creek.

It was mediocre service but they dont have to be in so much rush to take other clients appointments. No effort to be a thoughtful, educated, detailed manicure technician. Plus, earthquake from a ballet academy upstairs did not help me getting any ZEN moments.

This place has really bad customers service. I had gel nail polish done on my natural nails and in less than 2 weeks the polish began to chip. I could not make it back that week so I went the next weekend which makes it 3 weeks and I explained to the lady at the front whom i called before coming, that the polish began to chip early (at this point it is half way on my nail) she said I waited too long to get back and unprofessionally began to speak to her colleagues in their language. Of course I knew they were talking about me (how rude). She left me standing in front and walked away. She later came back with her other colleague to tell me if I dont like their service, I could go elsewhere like she had to tell me, I was on my way out the door. At this point I called Awesome nails less than 0.2 miles and drove there to get my nails done PROFESSIONALLY and they were cheaper and nicer.

I had the worst experience here. They let me sit there for an hour and half and they didnt even get to my nails, so I ended up leaving without my nails done. They never came up to me to apologize or tell me there would be a wait, they plainly ignored me the whole time.

There is only one person I let do my nails and hes here at this shop. I drive from Oakley just to get my nails done. I minus one star because the owner raised the prices recently and they were kinda high to begin with.

Ok place.They take tips only in cash.My bill was around 50 with tax.I kept a tip of 10 bucks which didnt go well with the lady at the counter as I think she was expecting more...isnt 20% good enough.
