You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Older gym but has everything you need for a good workout. Good price.

I love the variety of weights & cardio equipment. It is clean and I love their COVID protocols.

Came to Waldorf for the week and purchased a weekly membership for $15. You cant beat this price for such a great place to workout. This is the only gym Ill use when Im in town.

Convenient facility. Nice, friendly clientele. Rarely has consistent hot water, though. Have mentioned situation repeatedly to management in past year, it is temporarily repaired, & then ICE cold water returns & is all that is available. Don’t plan on showering & going to work if you want to workout early here, water is cold!

Staff and gym are excellent but the owner or whoever manages their communications needs a lesson or ten in customer service. Do not belittle your customers for asking sincere questions. Very unfortunate because everything else about this gym was great.

I started going to World gym waldorf back in March. I have developed a love for fitness since. The reason for this is my personal trainer Josh. He has managed to bring out capabilities in me I did not knew I had. Over this course Josh has constantly identifies more efficient ways for me to work on my strengths and flexibility. In his very calming voice he gives constructive feedback while motivating me to do my best. Josh continues to work effectively with me achieving my body weight goals and now targeting specific areas. Thanks Josh!

Gets the job done 4 me trying to have a cold summer 18!...anyway the customer service is great and its a young lady that works there Michelle seems like shes always there and her attitude never change just as happy as she wants to be. Always speak and helpful and on Sundays she make sure the games are on.

Front desk staff is always helpful. One member named Alex has helped me several times with questions I had whether it be equipment-related or a question about my membership. Great attitude, positive vibes, couldnt ask for more.

Had a balance that I was unaware of, but thanks to Michelle she waived my balance and worked with me to pay WAY less than what I wouldve had to pay.And I also love the changes that where made to the gym! Definitely better than when I used to go there years ago 👌🏾👍🏾

Sherrie is excellent ..... She has superb customer service skills . Sherrie assist whenever needed in the gym. She helps find equipment that is needed to do my squats, she is an awesome help to any questions that you have related to World Gym and if she cant help you she will get assistance from trainers

World Gym has such great staff and service! The gym has a welcoming environment along with great trainers! Coach Alex is one of the trainers who is very motivational and keeps you on track while having fun with the exercises. I highly recommend this gym and if you don’t know the trainers to get to know them!

So my first impression of this gym is not good and I have yet to even step foot in it. I have been calling for several days to inquire about a membership, have left voicemails and even sent a text. I have yet to receive a call back or any type of response. Not a good look for customer service. Guess they don’t need my business! I’ll move along!

Reasons why I’m rating this gym a 1 before trying it...I called earlier today to confirm the mixxed fit class at 730pm as advertised on the website. It was most definitely confirmed. I arrive to the gym around 720 pm (gym closes at 10pm) and the doors are locked. Luckily someone walking in knew there was a door on the side. There were no signs indicating to do so. But anyway, I go in and asked an employee by the name of Logan (at least that’s what he said his name was. He was sitting at the snack bar eating. Light skin with a struggling bush around 720pm on 5/3/2019. Check your schedule manager). Not only did he not know what I was talking about, not only did he tell me to come back tomorrow at 8am, not only did he say nobody else was there that I could talk to, but he was extremely rude, dismissive, and nonchalant about my frustration for wasting my time, gas, and energy for a class that didn’t happen. So yea...I’m done. How ridiculous. I started to just workout anyway without the class that I’ve been looking forward to all week, but your employee and his lack of empathy has completely turned me off. Please get him some type of customer service and any other type of training if you want to keep your business going. My irritation level is on 1,000. I could see if he said “you know what I’m sorry about the miscommunication but here’s the information on the class and you can still get a good workout in utilizing our equipment readily available for your use.” But no, he was clueless, obviously just there taking up space and eating snacks, and couldn’t care less about anything other than the Doritos he kept smacking in my face. Didn’t even care about the crumbs around his mouth, let alone the customers.Alright rant over....service is still trash thoughIn response to the owner, I went to 3033 Waldorf Market Place, Waldorf, MD, 20603 USAI understand last minute changes. I most definitely understand things happen. I understand this was my first time going and didn’t know how to go in...HOWEVER my frustration is with the employee who knew nothing and didn’t care to even find out.

I’ve been a member here since 2013 and the gym has only improved since then. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better gym for such a low cost.

I absolutely love coming to this gym not matter what time whether it’s the morning or afternoon. I’ve been a member for almost 6 years and the staff has been very helpful and nice. I get along well with everybody on staff but Sherrie stands out because she makes it a fun atmosphere to come workout. Sometimes you need a good laugh and along with doing a good job she brings a great attitude everyday.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The overall environment in the gym is family like. Raymond from the cleaning staff does an amazing job keeping the facility clean. Ive been a member of World Gym since 2010 and absolutely love it!

I have been coming to world gym for some time now and this year is my first with having trainers. I needed to lose a few pounds because I had a few trips to attend over the summer. Since January, I have seen amazing results. My training is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:00 am. My trainers are Danny and Alex and they are great trainers. I highly recommend them. They both push you to the max and they dont allow you to slack which is what I needed. Thanks a million gentlemen keep up the good work and see you all soon.

If I could give half a star, I would. The only thing I like about this place is the trainers. Steve, Daniel, and Alex are absolutely amazing. The lockers rooms are spacious although not always the cleanest. What makes me extremely upset is the charges. They have completely messed over my contract and keep telling me I need to pay more money for the same training sessions I’ve been attending. When I went to ask about my contract on multiple occasions, I was told conflicting information by the same damn person. They are attempting to terminate my contract prematurely, but that’s okay. I don’t even think it’s wise to go back. I probably won’t. Thanks for everything, World Gym.

Cheaper that other big name gyms and better than lower priced gyms. This is the place you want to be. Friendly and professional staff, great equipment. They have everything you could need.

The GM Kelsey is SO helpful! I just got back from school and had to update so much information and he was very patient and helpful during this whole process! This is my favorite gym for a reason!!

Unfortunately, the customer service, classes, and equipment do not compare to other gyms in the area. After two bad experiences with staff, I cancelled my membership and went elsewhere. It’s unfortunate because this gym has great hours. If you go later in the evening, I suggest going with someone. After hours, the main entrance is closed and you have to enter through the side entrance, which can be a target area. Lastly, be very cautious with “special programs” offered outside of your membership. I felt scammed after enrolling my son in their summer fitness program. After paying (in-full), I was told that I would be contacted with reporting instructions. Several weeks passed and I hadn’t received any information, so I followed-up with the gym. During the call, I was told that I was contacted and the program had been going on for a few weeks. As a paying customer, how dare you dispute that I was contacted? And, how dare you take my money with absolutely no intention of providing the agreed upon service. Hopefully, things have improved, as I cancelled in fall, 2016. I am posting this response now because I have more favorable gym experiences to compare this gym to. Major difference.

My experience was great, the gym has a great variety of equipment, and it is a very clean environment. Alex in particular was very respectful and always willing to help improve my experience there.

24 hours .. great staff... the young man who comes in in the morning keep the place spotless

7:30 am sunday morning and World Gym Waldorf not open. Employee says he cant get the key out the lock box. Extremely disappointed because I drive 30 min from Oxon Hill.Original post was 5 months ago. I filled out a cancelation form and 3/5/2020 I received all call from a debt collector with a $400 balance. I have been unable to reach them by phone. l left two voicemails. I hope to get this situation resolved. I really want to believe it was just negligence and a not a criminal act by staff and owners to suck and leach hard earned money from customers.

I love world gym waldorf💯 Everybody there is so nice. The trainer Daniel is always willing to help even tho Im not a personal training client and he is so handsome!! Front desk is also very pleasant Sabat is always so nice.

A scam gym. You will never be able to cancel your membership with them. If you go in person to cancel it, they will continue charging you and if you hassle them they will tell you to write a letter. If you do that, they will ignore you and keep charging you. If you do both, they will ask you to come in again.This is a predatory gym. They refused to cancel the memberships of active duty service members who deployed with orders. The owner reportedly had a second gym in Florida. He reportedly scammed elderly residents out of their money. If you look at the reviews on their Facebook page you will see the complaints about this for yourself.

Did not enjoy going here, they keep their locker room dirty, they had such a loud classes in the evening that you could not hear yourself think over the microphone. And yes, listen to these others too they do try to bill you after you leave, I made sure to get a receipt and they still tried sending me a bill after I left, I had to call before they cancel it. Oh and one male employee was CREEPY with me when I left, got right up in my personal space trying to get me to stay. Guess he thought he was being cute. Nope!

Oh yeah, theyre soooo nice to you when you sign up, offer you a deal for 15.99 a month. Too bad after you cancel, theyll keep charging your account. I went IN PERSON to cancel my account, filled out their cancellation form, only to find they were still charging me. Then after I talked to them they told me I was in the wrong because I didnt also send a letter?! Tell me where it says you have to send a letter? Im about to take this to the BBB if they dont fix this!

The trainers are attentive. The equipment is good. The only things missing are a sauna, a better variety of protein shakes and the occasional bod pod event.

I love World Gym. The opportunities are great and the hours are a big plus to me being a shift worker.

I look forward to coming to the gym on weekends because michelle is such a welcoming person...if u need something she will do it with a big smile ....i been going to gym for over 30 years and she is by far the best i seen and i have seen so good ones...so i just want to thank her....i really dont do post but she is that good

Look at all of the negative reviews of this place and look at how many times the gym responded sorry for the confusion. Then ask yourself whats more likely: that were all idiots, or this gym is deliberately misleading its customers.

Well I only just started at the gym but they lie about the hours. It says that you guys are open at midnight and I tried going in at 4 A.M and again at 6 AM and both times the main and side doors are locked. Its not that hard to either open when your supposed to or change the time on your google page.

The trainers are awesome!

I cancelled my membership with this gym 3 weeks ago and they are still charging me for another cycle. It seems shady how they lost my cancellation papers, still took money out my account and no manager checks to see the if cancellation process is taken care of....

Just terrible, they try to get you sign up saying, cancel anytime, then they turn around,, and say you have to stay a member if you try to leave, and you have to keep paying monthly fee even if you dont use it, took me forever to get my membership cancelled. Dont beleive them, when thy say cancel anytime because it aint the case!!!

The dumbbells only go up to 80 and the one 80 they have is old and has an awkward grip. I feel the waldorf world gym should take a look at the La Plata world gym and try to be a bit more like them. Also the caged in area with the classes is ridiculous! They are so loud that I cannot even hear the music coming from my head phones. Wold it kill them to build an actual wall? The staff could learn a thing or two from the La Plata World gym too. Ive gone in there a few times and found the receptionist asleep in the chair across from the desk. In short the staff is unprofessional and based on everyone elses reviews plus having a bad grade with the BBB its amazing they havent closed yet. Would love for a new gym to replace it. Or just let La Plata World gym manage both

There are advertisements all over saying this place is supposed to be $10 a month but when I went in to sign up, they said its $17.If it takes them this long to get their false advertisements taken down, I really do think that says a lot about how they run their business.

Not 24 hrs.The Add should include saying......limited weekend hrs.
