I am beyond impressed with the team work of this store. I personally thank Greg in repair and Mike in scheduling. I think my homemade chocolate chip cookies should pay a visit to this staff coming up in the fall. Thank you guys for helping me get a dishwasher after waiting an entire month (not you of course). I highly recommend this store for appliance repair, but also new appliance sales. Ryan you hire great people!

Daughter and her husband bought local. The new washer went out, they fixed it. Then another part. Now doesnt work. Warranty only covers parts. Too bad it broke within a small period of time. Back to buying at Home Depot or over the hill.

The customer service was 5 stars alone. The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. I would consider myself somewhat of an annoying customer as I am a big time bargains hunter and struggle to commit to anything. after 3 days of answering my constant calls and questions I bought a completely different washing machine then I had in mind. And they gave me an INCREDIBLE price. I could not be happier. I spent less then I had expected and Came home with a way fancier machine than I ever could have imagined being able to afford. I had a very similar experience last fall when I bought a freezer from them. I hardly write reviews but I am so impressed with Merits I just had to. And did I mention I got a great warranty!!! I could not be happier with my experiences with this business.

We have an older Frigidaire refrigerator that has been very reliable since purchasing it in 2010. Our ice maker in the freezer stopped working about January 30, 2021. A call to Merits, where we had bought the appliance, resulted in Brian fixing our problem within 24 hours of our call. He was very pleasant, analyzed the nature of the problem from our information and his inspection. He even corrected an error he noticed on the fill-tube installation which should prevent the problem from recurring. He wore mask precautions, and was courteous and professional throughout. A nice place, across the street from Enterprise Rental cars.They are very expensive and the staff seems to just live in a constant state of clueless confusion. But, they are the only game in town now days for one-stop appliance shopping other than the tiny display at Sears or Home Depot. If you need parts or real service, its here or Medford.

Hands down best customer service from start to finish! Found this place after returning a rental car across street. I was going to head to Home Depot for an appliance sale but I love Shopping small business and shopping local. Was greeted first by nick who had huge smile and very helpful. Next Ryan helped us pick the perfect refrigerator (went with whirlpool with French doors and love it!) and whirlpool stove. Ryan even went under the price of sale! We were so happy we returned the next day and brought a washing machine. No doubt we will be back! So thankful to have found this gem of a place!

Cabinet mounted microwave, quit working. I was estimating $350 parts, $50-70 labor or replacement of the entire unit. Turned out to be a door switch. Replaced switch within 45 minutes, at my home, parts and labor < $60. ( + Service Charge )The tech was Brian and he did a great job for us.

Recently purchased a chest freezer from Merits. I looked at the floor model and it was too small but they informed me they had larger ones in their warehouse and within an hour it was delivered to me at the store while I waited! They also offered me a military discount which I did not even ask for! Very professional and courteous too!

I drove to K-Falls from the Medford area because Merits was the only place that had a freezer less refrigerator in stock and our old one had died. After several months of dealing with Frigidaires terrible customer support. Mike in the service dept. took over. He contacted Frigidaire directly and found out that our needed part would basically never be in stock. Then, he started the replacement unit process and they delivered it within a couple of weeks. So, I give them a 5 for customer service and would drive over and buy from them again but it will not be a Frigidaire anything. That company gets a zero!!

Ive been a customer of Merits for many years. I just bought a new washer and dryer from them and was very pleased with the deal I got and the way I was treated. Dont assume the big box stores have the best deals. Merits beat them all in this instance. Plus Merits has parts and service if needed, not so at the big box stores.

Brian came to our house to fix our washer, arrived on time, and was very professional. We had ordered an incorrect part. He had someone bring the correct one to our house so we wouldn’t have to be without a washer/have to reschedule. And...he did not charge us for the incorrect part, or the extra time! Was supposed to have an appointment today. Had it scheduled at a specific time with the service tech but then no one showed up at all. Called Merits to let them know what was going on and they said they would call me back but never did. UNSAT customer service and cant even follow through with what they say. I apologize for coming off as being rude but effective communication is key with customers.

I would not even give them a one star but had to in able to put my review in. Merits do not stand behind their products. We WERE loyal customers and have spent a lot of money with them. Our freezer we purchased went out, we lost all of our food. We purchased it brand new and it was a little over a year old and the warranty was no longer good. They told us that it would cost us $85.00 for service call plus parts and labor. This freezer was manufactured in June of 2015 . We had it a little over a year. You would think they would stand behind their products if they are still pretty new. They dont. Bad customer service especially to loyal customers. They lost our business. We did get our freezer fixed by a different company. Shame on you Merits!

They were supposed to call at 8 am and give us a precise time for our appointment. It was to be between 9 and 11 am. No one called, or showed. We called to se. What was going on and were told they would call right back. Twenty minutes later we called them. I dont mind waiting when someone calls to notify, but I am irritated when they cant even pick up the phone.

Very disappointed in the service here. I bought a small part to try to fix my dryer and when it was sold to me it was opened so I figured someone returned it for various reasons and did not mind it. I installed it and it didnt fix my dryer, I do not know if it was the piece or my dryer. When I went to return it I was told that because it has scratch marks on it and therefore they couldnt return it. I was told that the boss wouldnt approve it. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication of this policy when the purchase was made as well as lack of simple customer service. I always try to buy local even if I pay a little more for small things like this, but when the customer service is lacking like this then it drives me to buy online.

Bought an oven and a warming drawer. The warming drawer was a display model, was promised it would be cleaned up before it was installed, it was not, dirty with cobwebs, nasty looking. Oven was ordered, told it would take about 2 weeks, a good month. Too bad there arent better places in town.

These guys are great! The service department went above & beyond the call of duty when our oven would not work just before Thanksgiving. Though we did not purchase the unit from Merits, they tried there best to get parts that had been discontinued. Though the parts were located in a very short time, there was no way that we would be back in business by Thanksgiving. We decided to bite the bullet, and ended up deciding to oreplacing the entire kitchen. We placed our order, and were put on the schedule for installation the Monday before Thanksgiving. Due to some weather issue in shipping the new appliances did not arrive on time, and would not make Thanksgiving. The guys were very empathetic, but we were still wondering what we were going to do with a houseful staying with us Thanksgiving. My wife started crying when we were leaving the store, and the manager, who was on the phone when we were talking to our sales rep, chased us to the car. He explained that he had heard part of the conversation, and thought maybe he could find a fix. He offered us an older functioning wall oven to get us by that even matched. They offered to install it that night at 5pm. We settled on the following afternoon, and left feeling very satisfied by the level of service. The next day the installers showed on time, and installed our NEW oven that had arrived just hours earlier. When they finished it was 6 pm. They then gave us the option of leaving the rest of the new appliances in the garage and finish installing tomorrow, or they could continue if it was no imposition. Are you kidding me? Who offers service like that? They finished the job that evening, and Thanksgiving came & went without a hiccup.We were very impressed with the level of service we received. We will buy all our appliances from Merits in the future, and will be purchasing a new TV there soon too.
