Great atmosphere and super professional staff! Aqua Salon is the best!

I wish I could give 10 stars! Alaida is so sweet and pleasant! She was very thorough and talked me through each step of my facial while ensuring I was relaxed. She made me feel safe with the consideration of Covid. This was my first facial and she has set the bar high. You can tell she knows what she is doing. I highly recommend! My brother recommended her and she was a tremendous help to his acne and blemishes!

Started going here a few months ago... and now I love my eyesbrows

Ive been to this salon several times and my experience has always been great each time. My stylist Tanisha is very experienced, she has a great personality and is very professional, shes gives you that warm vibe that lets you know that youre in good hands (no worries). When she washed my hair I almost went to sleep..it felt so good, the way she massages the scalp. I wasnt sure of the color I wanted for my hair, she helped me pick a color that goes with my complexion and it turned out beautifully...I get so many compliments on my hair color...Tanisha definitely knows how to care for her customer and their hair...I get color, get my ends clipped and my eyebrows waxed...she does it all...Tanisha you rock

After reading reviews, I decided to stop by and make an appointment. Eneida and her daughter the receptionist (sorry I dont recall her name) were absolutely delightful. I was greeted with a warm welcome & treated like I was long time friend. The receptionist was very helpful as we discussed potential haircuts, styles & products. Eneida created a miracle on my hair after a 24 hour failed cut at another salon. She gave me advice based on what I was looking for and how to manage it. Their knowledge & professionalism are A+. After seeing my hair results, online reviews & pics, Ive decided to return soon for their other services as well. Ive had a great experience here. I will be back.

Got a groupon here for my impromptu run away trip to the beach. They were able to get me in same day which was awesome. Extremely friendly staff. Very personal but also professional. Valerie did my nails. She was a doll. I personally cant say I saw anything to even begin to speak negative on. Thanks ladies for starting my get away on a great foot. Highly recommend ♡

I had a baaaaad run-in with a “stylist” in SC who essentially butchered and chopped my hair, and Tanisha has restored it and given it life again!! She’s an amazing stylist, and if you’re looking to get any hair services done,🗣I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TANISHA!!🗣

Assya is awesome!I went in for a waxing and she was great. She is very professional and thorough. She also has a great personality. She made me feel very comfortable in what is usually a pretty uncomfortable situation. I highly recommend her!

Alaida is amazing! I have gone to a few places to get my brows waxed and was never too impressed. I came here for the first time today and already have my next appointment booked. I’m not to picky about my brows and told her to just do what she wanted and my brows have honestly never looked this amazing!

Ayssa was an excellent nail technician. She did a perfect job on my pedicure. I was visiting my daughter in Va Beach and I had no idea which salon to go to. I am very happy I chose Aqua Salon. Everyone was nice, Valerie too. Im sorry I dont know all their names to mention. When I am in town I will go there again.

Hair by Luke is the best stylist Ive been to and highly recommend him. Valerie can do your mani, pedi needs and she fabulous. The receptionist is always warm and welcoming.

I had an appointment. When I went, there was nobody in the salon and the door was locked. I waited for 10 minutes. I left a phone message then they called me back and explained the situation. ( A client and a staff were inside the salon because of her hair or sth was wet they couldn’t open the door ) What? My appointment was at 10 and nobody was there to deal with me. It’s not an excuse. They should have put a note or informed me before.The other reason: the eyelash extension fell off in one week. Nothing has quality.

I had an appointment to get my haircut and layers trimmed. Brooke blended them well. Everyone who worked there was very accommodating. It was a good experience and I look forward to going back!

I love getting my nails done. My profession is taxing and I look forward to having a little me time. Today, I was looking forward to my visit at Aqua salon, as I had heard good things. Dont waste your money or time. I felt unwelcome and it seemed like the nail tech. was more interested in talking to previous client and ignored several questions, and igrnoed when I said she was hurting me. She was rough. Not relaxing at all! I left at the beginning of the service. I had paid for the Mani and pedi package. I did not even make it through the manicure. My nails look like a five year old cut them. Avoid! The owner was there and just walked to the back of the salon and didnt even acknowledge the situation. Awful customer service.

It was horrible!!! It was difficult to get an appointment. One would think it was an awesome place since it was booked so far in advance. The front desk was very pleasant and informative, thats the only good thing I have to say about this establishment. I was getting a shellac manicure done for the first time. My technician was not very friendly or helpful. I couldnt get out of there soon enough. They do offer other services and maybe those would be better ecperiences.

Alaida is the absolute best aesthetician. I first came to her when another salon messed up my eyebrows by waxing off too much of one of my eyebrow’s tail. I have now been coming to her for 2 years. No one has ever taken as much care and detail into waxing my eyebrows. She is a perfectionist and I SO appreciate it. I recommend everyone I know to her because I’ve never had a bad experience with her.My husband and I also came to her for facials the week before our wedding and it was such a relaxing and skin-benefitting experience for both of us!She is THE BEST!

The African American nail tech (the older lady with glasses) is very good.

Went in for a trim without scheduling (door says walk-ins welcome) and I wasnt greeted for about a minute. I can visibly see two to three stylists sitting down talking to each other. Finally, Im greeted from a stylist who was in the back. She asked what I needed, and I said, do you have time for a walk in? She asked for what, and when I said just a trim, she said she didnt have any available for another two hours...... The salon was empty... The stylists were sitting down.... What the heck? Dont recommend to anyone- there was is a salon about five doors down that actually holds true to walk ins welcome

Luke is a master hair stylist who rescued my hair which was very badly damaged from Hair Cuttery dyeing it the WRONG COLOR then I went back the next day because I couldnt stay due to appt (which was TOTALLY EMBARRASSING!) So I went around with a grey brown instead of a golden blonde. The next day the beautician was absent & the manager stripped ALL of the color from it so my hair was WHITE from bleaching ALL of the color out!! I was so embarrassed but Like knew exactly what he was doing! Now I am going to have him permanently as my stylist!!! He is great! They also offer teeth whitening, manicures & pedicures, waxing & even sell CBD products! Amazing store!!

I went to Aqua after purchasing a Groupon for their services. The owner was very nice, attentive and turned out to be an Operation Smile volunteer like myself. My honey scrub and massage was AMAZING! Ayssa was very professional but very considerate as well and my treatment was very relaxing as well as uplifting. I left very happy and relaxed.

My first time here about a month ago was wonderful- completely above an beyond. Long story short, they are very accommodating to customers that have kids (as long as they are old enough to sit and behave, play on a phone, etc. Dont get me wrong, theres no babysitting!). They develop a great rapport with you, environment is very clean and staff is incredibly professional. I felt like I made a new friend after having waxing services done by Assya! She was so great, and legitimately cared about my experience and my skin! The receptionist is very accommodating with scheduling. They will call to confirm appointments and let you know if there are cancellations for earlier times which I can really appreciate. Ive been to a lot of other places in Hampton Roads but Assya has topped them all and again I just felt like family. Youll never want to go anywhere else.

You cant get an appointment because they only have 1 nail tech. After a drop in on Tuesday (a very slow day) they were unable to do a mani pedi so I asked for a brow wax. After sitting for a while the girl brought me a form to fill out. They wanted to know everything about my life which also included a medical form. I say: Uhhhh this is ridiculous and I stormed out of there. PS- I had called several times for an appointment, but when you have 1 employee, its pretty hard to get in there. I doubt this place will be around for long. Toodles Aqua!!

The worst place for a pedicure expensive and is not worth it will never go back there receptionist on a personal call all the time I was there not happy with pedicure dont waste your 35 dollars aint worth 5 dollars. the most expensive money wise and cheapest pedicure I have ever had.

I had a Brazilian done for the first time ever and was very nervous. I was waxed by Roxanne who I highly recommend. She talked to me the whole time and made it as painless as possible.

To describe Aqua Salon and Spa in Virginia Beach is hard to do in just one word-it would take MANY words in fact! It is exceptional, wonderful, luxurious, high quality, and truly divine! I could go on and on!!I am a regular customer and would drive from anywhere for the services they provide and for the people who are there! One can genuinely feel the care and concern for you as the guest as soon as you walk in the door or call on the phone. The ease of getting an appointment and even being a walk in, they are so accommodating and gracious! They truly care for your requests and desires as a salon and spa but they have a burning passion for what they do too!Everyone is so knowledgeable and thoughtful! I couldnt speak more highly of a salon and spa in my lifetime of going to beauty parlors/salons/spas; I have been to my share of them, trust me. I have had almost ever service done at their salon-from long lasting and amazing shellac manicures and pedicures, to it is all gone Brazilian waxes, to transformational facials, and to drop dead gorgeous hair cuts!You are getting a top notch service at Aqua Salon and Spa! You are in trusted hands as soon as you enter the doors. The prices are reasonable and you get way more for what you pay for! True quality and service and I dont feel disappointed after leaving. More like glowing, calm, and beautiful!In addition, they are clean which is huge for me. I have had bad experiences at other less than stellar salons whom I wont name, where I dont dare stick my feet in the water for say a pedicure. Health, cleanliness, and beauty are at the core of Aqua Salon and Spa and they are the ones to walk the walk and talk the talk.On a final note, I am a big fan of the products that they use and sell to customers at the salon and spa. I have had the enlightenment of using Osmosis skin care system and products. I have first hand experience with all kinds of skin care products from over the counter, prescription, made for tv, etc. You name it-I tried it, smeared it, used it, swallowed it, etc. So when I got a facial done by Alaida for the first time a while back with the Osmosis skincare products-my skin transformed!! NO LIE! I will be a customer for life. It has improved my scars, pigment discolorations, texture, pore size, no acne, and I now have skin many compliment me on which I never had before in my life. I even use the color makeup/foundation made by Osmosis too. It kicks bareminerals to the way side and I was a die hard bareminerals fan at one point. Try it and see for yourself for any skeptics out there, I was shocked at how much I loved the Osmosis color makeup/foundations.Overall again, I can not speak more highly of Aqua Salon and Spa and the people who are there! I can not thank them enough as well for all that they have done for me and helped make me feel better from the inside and out! Definitely worth an experience and you will leave satisfied and gorgeous!!

Shampooing was painful (my hair kept getting pulled), this was followed by a trim of the back and my bangs--no layering--for which I was charged an outrageous $55. When I got home, I realized the trim was crooked.
