Buying a new car for your wife is just not fun, it’s painful. However, Jamal made it pleasant. Test drove several cars, Jamal was quick to get all answers to several questions my wife had and literally “at the end of the day”, she made her pick. We were extremely satisfied with the overall experience of Checkerd Flag Porche, mostly because of Jamal.

Bought a prius in excellent condition and came with 30day warranty and steve ensured me if anything go wrong in that period it will be fixed. Steve even went as far as to help me get familiar with my car after hours. This dealership treats you exactly how you should be treated regardless if you do or don’t buy a expensive car. Steve is a great salesman cant say the same for all the employees here.

My wife and I purchased a car here on Saturday, July 31st for our daughter. This is her first car and the entire experience was great. My 20 year old daughter and her friend went in to look at a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer on their used lot. Her mother and I went to check out the car as I would be the co-signer. For the price, the car was a total mess. Not cleaned, two wrecked spots on the front and rear bumper, faded paint down to the clear coat. The salesman said he was embarrassed that he had to show us the car in that condition but, wasn’t hesitant to try and sell it to my young daughter. Steven Stone was the salesman. Buyers beware of this individual. He even lied and said we threatened him because he lost his sale to us, but wasn’t hesitant to give us his contact cards. Steven Stone lost this sale because of incompetence.

Worst car experience I have ever had. We went in for an oil change and ended up having a few additional things done on the car. We spent well over $1,000 and the car was returned in worse condition than we dropped it off. Our Macan was in perfect condition with an impeccable service record. As we drive the car, there is a loud noise like the brakes, tires, or wheel bearing...Also, our car was returned with the cruise on 70 mph in a 55 mph zone and the car was on empty needing gas immediately before running errands for the evening. Also, the car was driven 100 miles for an OIL CHANGE!! To say I am disappointed in Checkered Flag and the Porsche brand they represent is an understatement. Additionally, it took us going into the dealership in person to receive an itemized receipt since it wasn’t offered over the phone or online. DO NOT take your car there for any reason. Drive the hour down the road to Richmond to take care of your Porsche!

This was my second vehicle purchased from Checkered Flag but first from the Porsche used car division. Used car prices are up across the board right now so after taking that into consideration the price was fair and comparable to other “haggle free” dealers, if not slightly cheaper. Tyler did a great job assisting. He was honest and did his best to make sure I was taken care of before and after the sale was completed. A few small issues came up after the sale was completed and he was able to resolve all of them. So many dealers/salespersons won’t give you the time of day after you’ve signed on the dotted line other than to tell you “sorry about your bad luck.” It was great to not have that be the case here. Tyler broke all the car salesman stereotypes of being sleazy, pushy, manipulative, and dishonest. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a car from this dealer. Overall I was very impressed with the level of customer service I received.

I purchased a Porsche Certified 2017 Panamera 4S from Checkered Flag Porsche on March 23, 2019. All I heard from Checkered Flag Porsche is that they have an incredible certification process and that the car is in perfect condition.Well, five minutes after driving it off the lot I got a chassis system error.On May 2, 2019 I dropped the car at a Porsche dealership that’s closer to my home. Today is May 17, 2019 and Porsche still has no idea what is wrong with the car or how to fix it. They have escalated the issue and even their senior techs do not know what to do next.Either the Porsche Certification process is bogus or Checkered Flag Porsche didn’t actually perform the certification. There’s no other way that such an obvious and prominent error could have been missed.

A few weeks ago started a search for an SQ5 and the options I wanted made finding a vehicle difficult. Im based in North Carolina and Checkered Flag Audi in Virginia Beach had a vehicle with the options I wanted. I emailed the dealership to get the ball rolling. We quickly settled on a price and an appointment was made for me to come up to the dealership to get the purchase completed.Mikes responsiveness continued while we were driving up to the dealership. Mike also made sure the SQ5 had all of the available software updates installed and had us setup for the MyAudi service.Before we came up to the dealership, we had our trade-in appraised at some local resources in Raleigh. Checkered Flags appraisal came in exactly the same as a local source so I was assured that Checkered Flag was straight up honest and fair in evaluating my trade-in. I had no reason to expect otherwise as Checkered Flag and Mike were great to deal with throughout the buying process.This is our second Audi in recent years and I wouldnt hesitate to buy from Checkered Audi again and Mike in particular.Final comment. My local Audi dealer missed out on this sale because they just plain dropped the ball in communicating with me. I have to give props to this dealership and specifically Gary Copeland. I was contemplating trading my Panamera in for something else. Being only mildly familiar with other vehicles in the brand (besides the 911 of course) I stopped in a few times to poke around and take a look at things. Even though I told him I was still doing research, he took the time to take me on a test drive and answered a ton of questions. I went back a second time, and he took me on more test drives. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and gave me a good education on the rest of Porsche’s lineup. At no time was I subject to and pressure or shady salesman stuff. When I decided to trade in my car, I was given a very fair offer. I ended up getting something next door at their sister dealership, Virginia Beach Audi. Gary handed me off to a salesperson with more knowledge of the Audi brand, and came back later to see how I was doing. I am not done owning Porsches, and I will definitely be back here and would absolutely recommend doing business with them. My experience here was very positive.

Barry Cate, Joe Finkle, and Karla Lewis were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their enthusiasm for the Porsche marque makes them great ambassadors. They were patient with our questions and helpful with our needs. We came from Buffalo, NY to buy a particular car, and they made what could have been a complicated process simple.

Great sales person (Brad Comess), very informative. Explained everything in great detail and listened and answered each question we had. Financial advisor (Karla) was equally as great. Could not have asked for a better buying experience! Recommend this team to anyone interested in buying quality vehicles from the most professional group.

I liked the responsiveness of my salesman, and how he came out to greet us upon arrival. I misspoke when I quoted the financing my bank would offer for the car I wanted. The rate I was counting on was for 3 months shorter than I wanted. Paul did an excellent job of delicately pointing this out, without blaming the error on me. It was definitely my mistake, which I acknowledged and apologized. Paul graciously accepted and tried to take some of the responsibility as well. Very classy.

Went back to dealership and still not serviced as promised. Salesperson input wrong care plan so I have to take a loss. Bad business and unsatisfied customer.

Our salesmen, James House, made the process very easy. He was able to answer all our questions and has done a great job with followup after the sale. We traveled almost two hours and passed by several Audi dealerships and he made the experience well worth the travel.
