I visited high quality nails a few days ago and my experience was fantastic! Im not sure what my techs name was (her e-file said Mimi I think?) I asked for a red to black ombre dip powder and pointed nail tips. Her work was absolutely beautiful and in the 5 days since I have probably gotten 100 compliments! She was extremely thorough and put a lot of effort into filing and shaping the nail, something I never really get anywhere else. She did incredible and I would recommend to anyone. My ONLY comment is that she kind of nicked me in one or two spots, but in her defense the dark red powder made it hard to tell. But I would definitely come back here!!

I decided to visit this nail shop because it’s right across the street brim my eyebrow salon, the salon inside is very elegant and comfortable I haven’t gotten a pedicure here yet but the set up they have for pedicures looks very nice, clean, & relaxing. I love the 2 nails techs I’ve seen since, Molly did a very good job on my regular no chip manicure and Sarah is very talented with the 3D nail art I recommend them both!

The location is very convenient, the ambiance is relaxing, and the size of the salon is spacious to insure that it is not overcrowded. However, I would not recommend this Salon for quality nail care. Both my sister and I received less than mediocre no-chip manicures. I was excited to find a salon that was not only beautiful in the inside, but spacious and relaxing, however, I was very disappointed with the manicure. I have included pictures for day six of a gel no-chip manicure that the salon guarantees will last at least 10 days.Also, my sister’s manicure only lasted 3 days, and when she called the salon to advise, the receptionist hung up on her.

This us the best nail salon in Vernon Hills and Northern Illinois. I always receive stellar service and greeted with smiles every time. The staff is so warm and friendly. They are clean and have state if the art pedicure and manicure stations. I highly recommend High Quality Nail. You wont leave unsatisfied.

Absolutely horrible! I came here to get dip done with tips and a pedicure! Paid $100!!! I asked for round natural shape and the person I was with told me what shape I should get and how long! I didnt want them long and they argued with me about it! Pedicure chipped within 3 days! And just took my dip off and I have horrible ridges in my nails which is not supposed to happen if they use the electric file correctly!! One star for ambiance.

I am very impressed at the atmosphere here. I love that they have massaging chairs to wait for your appointment. I love that they take you at your appointment time and don’t work on anyone else during your appointment time. The pedicure that I had was excellent. The place is clean and relaxing.

I moved in the area a few months ago from Chicago. Came across HQN & Spa through Yelp. Being I had just moved, my nails were in dire need of some help, lol. I did just walk in with no appointment but they kindly accommodated me with a gel fill in & color. My first impression when walking in was how clean and pretty it is! Atmosphere to me is key! Along with how welcoming they were especially with no appointment. Service was on point! She fixed me, lol. 🥰Recently my mom was in town from out of state, I scheduled a a mani/pedi for us both... once again service was great! Pedi felt fabulous and my nails came out exactly as I showed her Id like them from a picture off pintrest. (Mauve ombre.. not an easy task) These ladies know exactly what their doing!! Friendly, accommodating and Ive absolutely enjoyed my girly time these past 3 times Ive been. This coming from someone whos been at the same salon for 9 years. HQN & Spa is definitely my new spot Ill be going to from this point on. Keep rocking it out ladies!! And Thank you 🙌🥰🤗

This was my first time here. I love the layout and how the pedicure stations have their own areas. Got the Deluxe pedicure which included a sugar scrub, “mask,” and massage. Jane was wonderful. Everything was extremely clean and neat. I’ll definitely go back.

I am too picky about my nails so it was hard for me to choose a salon. I searched for high quality work and found this one. I trusted the high rating and did not regret it. I am obsessed with my new nails! Very nice and friendly place. They offer drinks. Sarah is real professional in her field. Everything is done neatly. She answered all my questions and took into account all my wishes. I have a very good impression of this place. I really advise everyone to Sarah. Now this is my favorite place! We found this place on google, hoping to find a salon that could accommodate more intricate designs. After looking at the photos, we decided to give it a go ourselves. Mimi and Jane took care of us and we couldn’t be happier! They were super nice and accommodating and the space itself was very clean and COVID conscious . Everyone had masks and there was plexi glass to separate as well. We will absolutely be back to try out their chrome options and seasonal designs.

I got a pedicure and was excited to see they use disposable tools (no sharing nail files with God knows how many before you). Highly recommend. Jane was also very friendly and did a great job.

My sisters and I really enjoyed our experience here. All of our nail texts did such a great job we didnt have to tell them to fix anything. The only reason why I couldnt give 5 stars is because my experience of them was also that they were very nosy. I was asked multiple times how I was going to be paying for their services, how I was able to pay, and commented on how expensive the services would be as though she were shocked I could afford it. I heard laughter and comments in response to conversations Im having with my sisters. Also they spoke to each other about us and what were getting (yes I understand what youre saying). When my phone was open my nail tech commented on a picture she saw on my phone. We are not friends and I prefer more professionalism in that sense. But the work was excellent 👌

So, i used to go to a different nail salon in Vernon hills and after the last few services I had enough and decided to try this salon out. Before I even walked through the door, I had wonderful talk with the receptionist to see what service I should received since I had nails on from a pervious salon. When I came into the salon, I walked into a clean and calm atmosphere. I had only waited a few minutes till I was taken to a station and I was serviced by Mimi (Who is amazing). I received a full set of ombre french nails and I couldnt be anymore happy with the service and quality of my nails. I look forward to returning in a few weeks and really recommend trying this salon out! The staff are warm and welcoming and it is a beautiful salon

This is a really nice salon, with fairly new equipment. The nail texts do a good job on nails both pedicure and manicure. My tech actually listened to me when I asked her to fix the way she was finishing off my no chip and the turned out great! They also have a great variety of matching colors to choose from, so thats a plus.

Both Hailey and Julia were amazing. My mom and I went and got pedicures last minute before we went on vacation. We both got the hot stone pedicure, it was a fantastic experience. The entire facility is clean, and very professional. Will definitely be coming back!

This was my first time here and I am so happy I did! Andy did my nails (liquid gel with no chip) and he was phenomenal!! Super gentle and he double checked the length and shape of my nails as he was working. I showed him a picture of a design I wanted and he perfectly replicated it. I am beyond satisfied with this salon. It’s very pretty, good environment, and very clean. Would definitely recommend!

I got my nails done here after breaking several at another salon, I needed acrylics and even though this place was a bit more expensive I’m so glad I decided to go. Cindy (who is amazing) did my nails and they came out beautifully. I will be returning (with no broken nails!!)

I am honestly surprised by my experience today. I have gone here before and have gotten great service and always leave with great quality dip nails. Today, I went to get my dip powder removed. The nail technician rushed through getting the dip off my nails and kept trying to pressure me into getting a new dip set. After saying no multiple times, she told me she was finished and I shoule go pay. Dip powder was still all over my nails and they were extremely uneven in length. It looks horrible.

We all know that getting a good manicure can be challenging. I thought I did my diligence in a search for a great place. I took my time. I researched online. Read the reviews. This place had an amazing scoring of customer satisfaction. After over a year-long of dealing with the pandemic I finally decided to treat myself to something special. I have not been out much since I had my twins in July. I was ready for a little pampering.I called the salon and spoke to Nina. I had a great first impression. This was my first time getting a dip powder manicure. She took her time explaining the process. I have gotten plenty of no-chip manicures in the past but never this one. I explained to Nina that my nails are weak and brittle. Pretty common issue. Right? She mentioned natural crystal dip powder which is listed on their website as an alternative to classic Dip Powder. I shared my concerns about double-dipping my fingers in the same jar as other people as it seemed super unsanitary. I was told there is none of that and they have a way of doing it without it.I made my appointment and was super hyped about it. I was greeted at the door politely. I was asked to sanitize my hands before sitting down. My nail tech was Sarah. I am assuming she is the owner. Her workstation was right next to the front desk. I was able to observe a lot, probably more than what I was supposed to. As I sat down, I showed Sarah a couple of pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. She glanced at it without much interest. I asked to add some length to my natural nails as well. My dip powder mani started with gluing tips. There was no prepping of my cuticles whatsoever. They were not even pushed down with the wooden stick. She wanted to leave the tips much longer than what I was comfortable with. I kept telling her to make it shorter since I have small kids. I felt my requests were not appreciated. Then came the layers of the powder. To my surprise, I was told to dip my fingernails in the pot. I was a bit confused and worried. I went along with it. My manicure looked heavy and bulky yet I was told this will be fixed. It wasnt. I kept reminding her that I want my nails to look more natural than fake. Whats even more disappointing is the fact that the whole time I was there, Sarah was not only servicing me but also scheduling appointments, taking payments etc. I was obviously not her priority. She kept interrupting the receptionist who was actually handling her assignments pretty well on her own. It seemed like all she cared about was getting more clients in. Oh and one last thing, as if it wasnt bad enough. The crystal Dip Powder on their website shows a price of $50.00. I was charged $60.00 for an unknown reason. I am no nail expert by any means but the Crystal natural powder dip service is a total scam.Anywho, I felt like I was taken an advantage of since Im a newbie to the Nail enhancements world. I am super disappointed and honestly quite sad this was my experience.

The experience was beautiful, the salon was very clean and pretty. I love love love how my nails turned out . MIMI did them and did a great job, my feet turned out really pretty as well. Some one else did my pedicure the only thing that was disappointing was the pedicure was very minimum, she did not really massage my feet or scrub them but focused more on my toes. But overall it was great, I will be back!

I always enjoy High Quality Nail Salon! I’ve Been a loyal customer since May 2020 and get my dip powder from Sarah and classic pedicure from any of the experienced technicians, they’re all great. They are timely and do a thorough job, with a pleasant experience. Drinks are available upon request. They take care of the nail, no matter what service. It has always been extremely clean and sanitized, I feel comfortable going even during the pandemic. The atmosphere is relaxing and like a serenity. It’s a convenient location, on town line road in Vernon hills.

The ambiance is beautiful but my experience was horrible. I am a simple mani pedi customer. I dont really care as much about nail color as I do nail and cuticle health.So it was to my surprise when the manicurist left my service and told them I changed my nail polish color too many times. I never changed my color. She also said I made her uncomfortable. She refused to complete my manicure there was a gentleman who did my mani and told me everything she expressed. He even suggested I stick with my local nail tech. He gave me this long speech on how some customers are difficult and take too much time. And it makes them miss money. I kept quiet but was floored at his conversation. His initial approach to me was very abrupt, he dropped my phone and never acknowledged it. I never said anything because I didnt want to cause a scene. As the reason I came out was I needed a break.After he shared with me all his concerns, I told him the complaint this nail tech spoke of never happened. The color I picked at the front was the same color he was using and I cant help but feel she made these allegations based on my ethnicity. To be honest, I tried conversing with the tech asking her her name and how was her day. She hardly replied as though she didnt want to be bothered. I didnt take it personally until he shared what shed said.They even charged my friend an extra $23 and told her it was because her nails were long. Thats interesting because this was our first visit and before we sat down we asked the receptionist how much it would cost. It did NOT include the extra $23. Again to avoid making a scene I told her to just pay it. And we agreed wed never return.Its so frustrating to have unjustified encounters like this. ZERO STARS!

My daughter and I tried this place and will not visit again!!!! Started off 15 minutes late even though we had reservation and the only customers in the place. Plenty of people available to do our services. I chose an upgraded pedicure and. received a basic for the price $65. After a week later my polish is peeling off and my feet were not soft at all. She didn’t even use pumice stone or anything on my feet. My gel polish on hands already off too. What a waste! My daughter had stitches on her hand and lady rubbed her hand without regard of bandage, even though we told her to be careful. Just terrible! Don’t go!

This was the best pedicure I have ever had, and I get them regularly. The salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. I sat in a massage chair for a few minutes until my nail tech Q came out to get me.She was very professional, had a mask on at all times, and made sure that I was comfortable through out my service.A lot of places really rush pedicures. It should be a relaxing experience, in my opinion, but often it is only about polish.Q massaged my feet and legs, and I felt so relaxed. She was also very thorough and careful with my cuticles and heels.I am definitely going to come back for other services!

Front desk didnt acknowledge us. the girl that did my pedicure gave a really bad massage the way it was suppose to be. my massage chair wasnt turned on . I asked for mango scrub and she gave me lavendar like okay . once the pedicure was done she didnt even turn on the fan for my toes to dry mind you me and my friend were already sitting down for 20 min. Not to mention when asked what service for my pedicure we asked for the deluxe shes going to whisper in my ear its $45 dollars like if she thought we couldnt afford it. would not recommend. Borderline made me feel like I was being treated this way because we are Hispanic.

I came to this nail spa because I just moved into the area, and my nail salon is very far of a drive. I was kind of nervous about going in at first. The second I walked in I felt at ease! Its spacious and the setup is beautiful. The service was great. They do all sorts of treatments, but I can only speak about how much I loved their service and how much I like the way my nails look. Very satisfied and I think this is my new nail spot.

Really sad about my experience today. I made an appointment, and when I went in for my appointment I had to wait 20 mins until someone took me. They were pretty busy, which maybe they shouldn’t overbook if that was the case because my service felt rushed and it shows. For the price we pay, I would expect the same quality every time.

At first, I still had some doubt from the name of the store, High Quality Nails & Spa. When I arrived to check in, the receptionist was very friendly and through-fully walked me what best service for my manicure and pedicure. There are many types of manicure and pedicure, many options to choose from, I decided to have Deluxe pedicure and manicure which is the lower mid-range of services. I had Deluxe Cucumber Fresh sense with 4 steps, ending with an amazing foot massage. Everything is brand new, nice and clean, it’s worth any penny, highly recommended!👍🤗❤️

Very nice place! It was my first time trying a new nail salon and they kept everything clean and sanitized. Tina, who did my nails, was gentle and always would ask if I was doing okay. When I told her what I wanted she told me pricing which included extra for no chip and coffin shape. I appreciated how clear she was on how much I’d be charged! Overall great experience. I will for sure be back.

The salon is very nice. It’s also huge so you can most likely always get an appointment . Jane did my pedicure & was very professional & did a great job! They have taken great measures to stay safe and sanitary during Covid-19. I will definitely be going back and letting all my friends know how amazing this new salon is !
