I have been a patron of Apple Nail Spa consistently since they opened in Vernon Hills.The owners are always in the shop, are so kind, keep a very clean shop, and maintain a staff that is also consistently kind and creative. The pricing is very reasonable, and the polish I choose here - whether gel or regular - seems to outlast anything Ive ever had done elsewhere.Since Covid-19 - they have added partitions, additional cleaning, and masking. I always felt safe before Covid, and still do now. These added measures are thoughtful and smart.Apple Nail Spa is my go-to in the community. I hope youll make it your regular spot too!

This is the only place in the vernon hills area that does specialized nails dips, full sets, “fake nails” ask for Kim she is the best

Kim and her staff were courtesy and caring to my needs. I had a sport pedicure on one day and NO Chip on another. The sport pedicure was relaxing. My toes were clean and pretty. Kim did my manicure with NO Chip. Kim is a kind person and she was happy to offer nail polish design assistants. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen.Side note: on each of those occasions Ive witnessed people coming in saying they have a few nails that need to be fixed in like 25mins or less. They expected Kim to stop attending to her current client and work on them. On the day of my manicure with NO Chip this lady kept staring at as the other stylist was attending to her.Dont be in a hurry.No one has ever paid for an 1hr massage and said MAKE IT QUICK.Relax.

First visit and Sally did an awesome job. She was so welcoming and nice to talk to. She did cute flower designs and I can’t wait to come back to get winter designs.

This place surpassed my expectations. I came in at the last minute, and the salon stayed open extra late just to accommodate me. Superb!!

I love it here! Ive gotten a few no-chip manicures and they have lasted at least 2 weeks or more. The Hawaiian Pedicure is nice and refreshing. The ladies take their time and do a great job! Its a very clean salon decorated cute. Check it out if youre in the area.

Saw this salon while looking for a birthday present for my friend. I wanted a manicure so I went in. To my surprise, this salon is pretty nice. Its clean. The techs working here are very friendly. When the nail tech was cutting my nails and removing the cuticles from my nails she was very gentle. She also, listen to all my requests without a single problem. When she was done, I was very happy with how my nails look. Ill definitely come back here again the next time Im in the city!

Awesome shellac and pedicure! The atmosphere was relaxing and the people were super nice. They did a great job! Also, the massage I got with the pedicure was AMAZING! Some places just do a quick, cursory massage but here, this place is not one of them. I will definitely come back again!

I got a pedicure here today. They were welcoming, friendly and opened a new package of tools before getting started. Also, one of the best foot massages Ive had in a while! I will definitely be back!

Went to get a manicure and pedicure. The nail tech cut the top part of toes several times then sprayed Lysol on my toes. For not paying attention to what she was doing. I come back the next day to have my nails redone I get a attitude from Kim the owner. And it charged an extra money because I asked for a different color. Keep in mind I was here yesterday and already paid $130. Trust me when I say your better off spending your money somewhere else. This place has rude workers and treat their customers with disrespect. I will not be coming back ever!!!

Cut my nails round even though asked them just to file. Also cut my cuticles even though I asked not to. Cut one so bad it bled the rest of the day and had to wear a bandaid over my manicured nail. Classy looking. The ladies were nice, but mine obviously did not understand what I wanted.

I have been a customer for a long time. I will, now, not return. The male owner of this salon did a bad job on my nails, ignored my requests and my tips looked thick and fake. I requested a fix the next day when he was not there. The fix was poorly done. I and will not return.

I was very disappointed with the work done on my nails. The lady seem to be rushing and ended up not covering my entire nail with gel, I literately walked out of there looking like I need a filling. At first I thought it was just me but once I showed other people my nails they were like go back get it fixed I have a busy life kids and job I had no time to go back .. later i noticed she didnt even file my nails completely i kept scratching myself every time the nails touched my skin. HOW ANNOYING!! a week later i went to a different location to fix my nails and they NAILED it (literately) =) .. what a waste of money with these people!!! I dont recommend coming here, also no point in making a appointments because they dont take you at the time you scheduled and they arent very apologetic about it.

Was visiting from out of town and found this gem for my daughter and myself! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. They did a great job on both manicures and pedicures! Thank you!

Horrible customer service,the person who did my toes told me do not choose this color again and to pick another color next time only because she didnt know how to paint toes then she didnt get all my dead skin off my feet so I had to come back so they can redo them it just looked like I only got my toes painted then the manager kim going to tell me they cant get all the skin off and I needed to go to the doctor I I have been to plenty of nail shops and they did my feet just fine..i will NOT be going back here ever again! I recommend to go somewhere else but here

I went in because the reviews seemed promising and after my first visit I was happy. The woman who did my nails did a wonderful job. She was very nice and polite and executed exactly what I asked for. However, my 2nd visit was not as savory. The gentleman who did my nails seemed rush and it truly reflected in the finished product. K had home in for an acrillic fill and what I went home with looked like something my 10 year old cousin had done for me. Every nail was of a different shape and length. Its been 4 days since my polish change and its hardly anywhere to be seen on my nails. I will never return here ever again and I recommend no one go here every unless you want to walk out with a cheap rushed job.

The people are very nice and they do a nice job with the no chip manicures and regular pedicures, however regardless if you make an appointment or not you will spend at least 25 minutes waiting which is frustrating, especially when you call ahead.

This place is hit it or miss it. I had pedicure done and the lady did such a terrible job polishing my toenails that I had to remove the nail polish at home and to re-do it myself. When I left the place, I had nail polish not just on my toenails but on my toes too!

Good spot it only sucks for 1 reason you must have cash in order to tip them if you Dont have cash you wont be able to tip them

They are ok. The no chip peels off, the acrylics fall off, they cant do designs, they arent friendly, but they do an okay job and they arent too busy.

The skin around all my finger nails have been peeling continuously right after I got a manicure. Not sure if its an infection or a bad product being used. I am not going back again.

This is the worst place to get nails done....The guy there is rude and disrespectful....He was not precise at all, it took him 15 min to do my pedicure and I hadnt had a pedicure in 4 months so you can image how my feet were, he didnt even put lotion on my feet just my legs what sense does that make..I wouldnt recommend have the man do your nails or feet....also the pedicure chair was nasty and it was the beginning of the day so there was no excuse for that....the tables are disgusting also I didnt see them clean at all after a customer left they just sat another person down....

Nothing nice to say. I went in for an acrylic full set and recieved a very rude attitude and comments from Kim the second I walked in the door. I was told it was extra for asnt nail shape other than square! How could you charge extra to file and cut a nail differently? I brought my own polish and she complained about the color being a terrible choice of color. She cut my skin multiple times and filed the skin instead if my nails. NEVER going back! Terrible service and I would not recommend to anyone!
