Randy refinished our tub in June and it looks gorgeous — like new! I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but he did a great job, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to refinish their tub. The only negative was the smell, but there’s really no way around that, and it only lasted a day or so. Since we have a window in our bathroom, we kept it open with the door closed and a fan on.

Randy is prompt reliable and does amazing work repairing and refinishing tubs. The tubs he has done for me and some of my friends have been perfect. He doesn’t oversell any service and has resurrected some sad looking tubs saving myself and others a lot of money, not very good water skier though 😁

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. We used specialty glaze to refinish our claw foot tub 4 months ago. Randy finished the job quickly and we were initially very pleased with his work. He gave my wife a receipt after we paid with no comments on after care and no mention of warranty stipulations. Naturally, with a claw foot tub a bath mat is needed to prevent slipping and falling, especially for a pregnant woman. The bath mat caused the “glaze” to slowly loosen and bubble over time, ruining the finish. I politely called Randy to see about fixing it and the moment I said bath mat he fervently denied responsibility, saying that all of the warranty guidelines were on our “invoice.” All we received was a receipt. He made no mention of bath mat use or any other ridiculous stipulation. Are we not to use soap, either? If you like spending hundreds of dollars on shoddy work, use this service.

I have used Randy twice on my renovation projects and he has the ability to bring the worst possible tubs back to life. He is always on time, honest and great quality. I highly recommend this company.

Randall, owner of Specialty Glaze went out to take care of a problem at one of our customers homes. We used a natural drain cleaner to treat drain flies and the drain cleaner left a little bit of an orange residue behind. I called five companies for pricing and the four other companies I contacted wanted 4 times more than Specialty glaze and one company wanted eight times more. I felt like Randall was very honest and I know for a fact he is reasonably priced for the market. The customer was happy with the repair and its one less thing for me to worry about. I will say that Randall is an absolute professional. Without even asking, Randall emailed me a copy of a professional invoice, a W9, his WA business license, and a copy of his general liability insurance. I almost feel guilty that he didnt charge me more. Very grateful for Randalls help, professionalism, and attention to detail. If anyone deserves a five star review, its Speciality Glaze Bathtub Refinishing!

They did a great job. My tub was chipping and flaking from a subpar job done before we moved into the house. Specialty Glaze came by and gave me a free estimate then did the job about a week later. It looks great, he was done quickly and the price was very fair. Overall: he did a great job in a timely manner and it was cheaper than other places I checked with. Would definitely recommend and use again.
