The care and customer service we receive at Pacifica Senior Living has been exceptional. From the moment we met with Rachel to last week when we called for a special request for Mothers Day, we have always felt taken care of and any concerns addressed.My mother cant be home, but this is a place that can provide for her while also being affordable. It gives us great comfort that Pacifica accepts Medicaid so if she runs out of money, she wont have to move. Its truly a blessing for our family.

We love this place for my mother who moved in about two months ago. She is acclimating very nicely after a not-so-good experience with another senior living community in Vancouver. The difference is in how the community is laid out. It ensures that there is always enough staff because each floor is so small. My mother doesnt get lost or overwhelmed like she had at the other place.James, the activity director, makes it really feel like a cruise ship (she calls it). He always makes sure there is something to do and they are starting the green house soon. We are very happy with the care and attention given to our mother and it makes us feel comforted at night to know shes in caring hands. Thank you everyone at Pacifica Senior Living in Vancouver!!!

I think this is very uncomfortable to post but people do need to be aware as it’s someone else’s life in someone else’s hands. Management has poor communication and pick favorites. I was there for less than a month until I injured myself and they lashed out and retaliated because of it. I had a coworker get mad at me because I was simply caring for a resident and it was a slow night so I thought a couple minutes wouldn’t hurt talking to the resident. I got told that we need to keep going and going and that’s all that matters. This same person also violated HIPPA by saying names and what was going on in text. When I brought these things up to management I was at fault and had management talk down to me as if I was the problem. I had multiple residents come to me as well about a certain coworker being on their phone all the time and leaving residents in their own urine when they said they changed them. Again I told management and again they did nothing. The med tech there was not the best either, always had an attitude and didn’t handle things appropriately when dealing with confrontation. Again management did nothing. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT BRINGING YOUR FAMILY OR WHOEVER HERE. Research facilities before bringing them here as a lot of reviews on here are not positive. If I could put zero stars I would have.I loved the residents tho, if I wernt for the residents I would have left way before that.

Honestly wish this place wasn’t even found. I’m sorry that’s mean but the management here it a total no. I wouldn’t recommend bringing anyone you love here.

My loved one has been here for a couple of years now and has really enjoyed it. The Executive Director Kim is doing a wonderful job. I cant wait to pick fresh blueberries again with mom.

Edit: After reaching out to the email support and being told they would pass it along I still have not heard back and emails have stopped being responded to. Beware dealing with this company and entrusting your family members assets.The nurses and staff were great during my family members time at this location. The management however was and is not. We are waiting for the remaining money from our family members credit to be returned to us after their passing almost 4 months ago and the constant jumping through hoops has made my mothers grieving so much worse. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Since i have been working here for almost a month i have enjoyed every single bit of working the residents are always careing and understanding the staff are amazing and this is a really good first time caregiver job i ever had and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon!!! 😎😎😎😄😄😁

I’m very, very disappointed in all aspects of Pacifica Senior Living. This is a resent update. My Mom for the past 2 years was getting ignored concerning health issues that I was not made aware of. Poor communication with the managers and executive directors. She always smelled as though she hadn’t been given a shower for more than a week. The apartment was not cleaned properly.The food was delivered and Mom was not awakened from sleep to eat it warm, so she didn’t eat it at all. Shame on the management for poor care. I did move my Mom and she’s put on 7 pounds In the last month. Wow, I wonder why. Please check around before putting your loved ones in Pacifica Senior Living.

My non-ambulatory father has been at this location for four months now. We moved him from a smaller, private adult home after he had an emergency that was mishandled. Unfortunately, the move has not improved his care. Over the course of the four months, weve had numerous issues, from allergic drug interactions to bedsores. Daily caregivers are unable to tell us whether hes been fed or bathed or changed into clean clothes. His room is often left in shambles by the staff. And today, the discovery of a 20-year-old family heirloom in pieces on his floor. Though weve voiced our concerns repeatedly to management, there has been little improvement. I am thoroughly disappointed in our choice of this facility and would not recommend it to others.

Worked here for 4 days.The staff is great! Management is not. CNAs are so hard working they are ROCKSTARS. No nurse on site.They quit after 3 weeks. Then they had to get a nurse through agency in a day notice. Some. Caregivers working 70hrs plus and sleeping in their car between shifts because they love what they do. That is a dedicated caregiver. But the disorganization of medications and paper work was appalling. Many rooms smelt of urine, alot of bed sores pressure ulcers.Residents deserve to be treated with up most care and respect. And its the responsibility of the executive director to find a better care facility if they cannot get the level of care there. Offering a solid $5000 a month rate is so Money hungry and irresponsible. Upper upper management doesnt seem to care also. Im talking about corporate level. Dont take my word for it, get on The department of health and human services and look at the investigation list. I dont write this as bashing the facility but its my obligation to be truthful about whats going on. Id wouldnt want my loved one treated this way at all. Think twice.Please do research with finding a place for a loved one.

There are many times when you can not find a staff member and it can be scary if you have an unsteady family member or another resident that is not steady on their feet. Hearing the way the nurse talks to some staff members is disheartening as well. These women work very hard, and should be treated with respect. The language barrier between the nurse and the residents, family and staff is a little concerning as well. I have a hard time understanding her when she speaks. Ive heard things from other family members and really hope that things improve. I would not refer anyone to this facility

Staff at this location was superb, the setup in this particular building is not adequate for certain things. Management needs a total change out.
