This apartment complex made me lose a bit of my faith in humanity. Not only do they have an extremely poor turnover rate with management & staff (which should tell you something about how things are run from the inside), but they dont remember important information and you have to stay on top of them to do their own job. During this Pandemic I lost my job and got covid (the full 2020 experience). I got help from Clark Public health and they offered to pay my rent, I gladly accepted. Bridge Creek made it so difficult to receive such basic help. They didnt return the emails, sent the wrong tax sheet, I had to specifically call back and forth between Bridge creek and Clark public health to make this happen. If I didnt, I wouldnt have received this benefit. You would think an apartment complex would go out of their way to make sure they helped complete this. On top of this they jumped at any opportunity to add late fees or raise the rent (during a pandemic I might add). When I first got the keys I talked to the lady at the front desk and I asked her If I could paint, she said as long as you paint it back. I painted two walls, and when our lease was up, called the apartment complex (literally everyday) to ask them what specific white to paint it back. Not only did I have to call everyday to get an answer, they told me not to worry about it. Come time to leave the apartment we spent a whole day deep cleaning the fridge, oven, stovetop, and cleaned the total of two spots on the carpet. We even patched up any holes in the wall from shelfs, pictures, etc, and cleaned all the windows. I returned my keys and double checked about the painted walls, making sure we get our full deposit back. The office person told me the painted walls would be taken out of our deposit. They have a routine clean and carpet clean they charge every tenant regardless of how clean you leave your apartment. Why even call it a deposit if you are going to get $200 taken out of if regardless. Thats called a fee. I went above & beyond to leave this apartment complex better then I found it, and they did absolutely nothing to help me. Save yourself the headache and find a newer, classier, better apartment in Vancouver. There are plenty of options.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. One star is too much credit for these people. We applied end of May. Application fee plus $300 apartment holding fee that was fully refunded if you are denied for any reason. Our application was denied. They said it was because of our background but wouldnt tell us what in our background was a reason for denial. And told us they are reviewing it and will get back to us. 2 weeks later after multiple emails asking if they heard anything yet they said we would be refunded in 30 days. They took my money over night but wont give it back for 30 days. But I thought ok whatever Ill get it back in 30 days. It is now July 28 and still no refund. I have sent multiple emails asking when I will get it and no one ever has a straight answer. Its always soon. Its now almost 2 months after the fact and now they are not responding to my emails. Im now looking up legal action to get my money back . These people are horrible.
I would like to start this out with, I have never had any issues with the office or any type of management at this complex. On the other hand though. I would like to clearly state that I have put in multiple noise complaints in and nothing has been resolved. I also understand people have children, younger renters, animals, while living wall to wall from someone. But the no effort nor responsive staff when it comes to handling people who party all night long smoking weed and getting blacked out drunk on there front deck, dropping cigarettes and spilling drink down below all over our front door and on our front deck is extremely unprofessional, poor quality, and poor value. I would not recommend ANYONE to live here. So glad I have put my 2 week notice in.
Moved in last Friday and there was a couple minor issues but the maintenance came and fixed any problems the same day I called them. The management was very welcoming and very helpful with the whole move in process, and continues to follow up on how things are going. I would recommend this complex
Warning: This apartment complex management is shady. I recently was interested in renting. After filling out the application online the management team emailed me to inform me that then unit was not pictured online and they would have to send me photos. After reviewing them I determined that then price they were asking for and outdated apartment was not acceptable. I asked for a refund of my application fees and notified them that I would not like to move forward. Instead of being an upstanding individual, they processed the application and refused a refund. You do what you like but I find this behavior to be appalling and not representative of a good place to live.
I just wanted to say Thank You for having the best maintenance team Ive ever encountered. Theyre always so polite and accommodating. Ive had two issues with my washing machine and the response time was next day service. Service always with a smile too. One other issue was the apartment above me had a broken pipe that came through my kitchen light and flooded my kitchen. They responded within minutes and again couldnt have been more accommodating. He even offered to clean the mess it made.
Horrible place to live they are so rude and I never got help when needed. Things were breaking and I never got it fixed
The staff is super nice! Sabrina was super friendly and toured us last minute. She made such a great impression we couldn’t help but want to move in! We love our apartment!
These apartments are pretty good!! They have events for the people who live here almost every month & they have been working with us on rent since the covid19. I recommend this apartment complex!!
So never written a review before but I wanted to try and warn others. This apartment complex looks very nice and the office staff was friendly however, I wasn’t actually able to live in the apartment I was paying for due to my dad having cancer and having to move home for and when I broke the lease (high price to break the lease but it was my fault as it was in the contract) I was told my account was settled and that I should get my security deposit back quickly. However I received a bill instead that said there was damages to the apartment and professional cleaning needed (remember I literally never moved in) I thought this was obnoxious as it was a newly renovated apartment and I never actually moved in. So they kept my security deposit and then charged me even more to repaint the entire apartment. Also as a heads up they have utilities set up where you pay for the entire apartment buildings cost of utilities meaning that you are paying for how much water your neighbors use. So personally I feel it looks nice but does a lot of shady business to try and grab the most amount of money out of its tenants.
If your looking for a place to rent out I would suggest not coming here. First off the owners are real cheap scapes any opportunity they have to make money theyll do it. You have to pay for parking monthly, anytime an appliance in your home has to be replaced they just grab an older one from their stash and give it to you and sometimes these are defective and have even more issues. Sure these apartments look nice and new but there a real catfish and have a crapton of problems.
We just got accepted into a 2 bedroom apartment so this review is only about Sabrina in the front office. She was super friendly and welcoming! She had answers to my million questions at the walk thru and was very responsive via email and phone! I appreciate that kind of service and look forward to living here!
Sabrina in the leasing office is AMAZING!!! She is very attentive and patient. I have been here for a year and havent had any issues.
Do not stay here unless you are desperate. The staff and owners will do everything they can at your expense to save money despite the increasing rent every new lease. Several months ago our dryer stopped working, the maintenance team jerry-rigged it rather than replace it. It would stop after 20 minutes and we would have to keep resetting it, it rattled and screeched the whole time. Once the rattling got bad enough we had the maintenance team look at it and they said they were sorry but they cannot fix it and can only replace it if it is broken. Despite supposed rules about not leaving trash on your doorstep you will see nearly every home nicely adorned with smelly rotten trash. The staff does not seem bothered but will step over these mountains of filth to place a flyer on your door about how you must use a plexiglass or glass cover for your ac unit. The maintenance team does not replace dog bag stations which in turn leads to dog poop filled walkways and grass areas. Not to mention how the rules seem not to apply to the maintenance staff. Despite this location being a smoke free community they will be seen constantly smoking right outside their garage. Of course some of the maintenance workers live here at these apartments and decorate their doorsteps with the same garbage bags found all over the complex. One family even has a garbage can outside their front door, which may seem smart but the staff have made it painfully clear that we cannot have furniture, tables, or anything of that nature outside our front doors. Now this next issue has nothing to do with the owners but the area. If you want to be safe I would recommend staying out of Bridge Creek. In the last two months not only have two dangerous criminals wanted for violent crimes staying at the complex been killed during a SWAT bust outside their building but just the other day a man stabbed his girlfriend, assaulted her father, and carjacked a woman injuring her legs. You can look them up if you want the story. So if you want your kids to wait at the bus stop while blood is washed off the pavement this place is perfect for you.
Very annoyed with the managers of the apartments.I have lived here for many years and often these apartments change owners, but no matter who is in charge their management is a disaster. For example, many months ago I asked for my stove to be fixed and they came to repair it (this happened multiple times) until they finally gave us anew stove an even older stove than the one that we previously have had.The new stove that we received began to fail, the burners didnt work it. We placed a work order and it took around 3 or 4 weeks for them to finally come and repair it. We asked for a new stove and they said that they would get us a new one and they never did. And again today one of the oven burners failed on me while trying to bake something, I was extremely frustrated at the moment and went straight to the office to complain, they said that they were going to call the maintenance guy to fix it but they never came. They do not care, but they do care to tell you that there is an extra fee if you dont pay rent before the deadline. I have had a lot of bad experiences, so that is why I am posting this so you know what kind of treatment these people give you. oh ya, but when you first arrive at they treat you very kindly but quickly change their behavior.
Things have gotten a lot better since new management has taken over. The office and maintenance staff work hard to make everyone happy and it shows.Only 4 stars because of the cost of renting and leaving room for improvement! Pretty satisfied with living here.
Not the fanciest of apartments, but that wasnt what I was looking for. I lived here for 7.5 years and though the ownership changed several times, they were always super friendly, quick to do repairs, and my experience was a positive one.
This apartment complex is a catfish. The pictures they have on their website show a nice redone apartments, the one we got was falling apart. The apartment was not ready on the move in date. The carpets were pet stained from the previous tenants, the vinyl flooring was covered in paint. We did many do it your self fixes, because maintenance was back up 3+ months. They came to change a lightbulb in the vaulted ceiling, they took the lightbulb out, broke it all over and never replaced the lightbulb. The dryer took many cycles to get the clothes all the way dry. The fridge leaked and was broken from the start, then at move out we got charged for it not working. The stairs up to the apartments were often loose and falling apart. Many nights I’d come home from work and there would be several cop cars circling the parking lots.
We just moved in and had some maintenance problems, but thankfully they were extremely efficient and helpful through it. Sabrina has been an enormous help and has gone above and beyond.
Thank you Pam and staff for being kind and helpful. It was a nice, peaceful experience for a little over a year. Stay blessed my friend...
Just getting moved in, staff in the office are good and helpful. Maintenance was on top of getting the initial apartment issues addressed and taken care of. I really enjoy renting from the management company and have had no bad experiences yet. Previously rented from the sister complex and was very pleased with the service. The only downside is the leasing team states this is a no smoking complex but we are exposed to our neighbors smoke around us.
This place is just terrible. People are loud all the time, management doesn’t care. They put people in the apartment above me that were extremely loud constantly (like music shaking my apartment level of loud) and then did absolutely nothing when I complained. After about 7 months I decided to just pay the enormous lease breaking fee and move out. They acted surprised and said they were just about to do something about the people above me. I doubt it. On top of that people don’t pick up after their pets. People go to the trash area and seemingly just throw their bag of garbage in the general direction of the compactor and hope for the best. The windows are terrible, I get that mold happens, but I’ve never experienced that big of an issue with it. Half of the stuff I had in the master bedroom closet molded as well as most of my furniture in that bedroom. And they raise rent to put in stuff like Amazon lockers when what they really need to do is manage their tenants and property. Overall, it’s a terrible place to live, go literally anywhere else if you’re able to.
Our apartment was broken into, our keys, wallet and car were stolen. The staff was not only unsympathetic but charged us for damages that were not caused by us. Cheaply put together, cheap carpet, poor installation. They will nickel and dime you. We’re almost positive they never changed the locks between tenants.
The office staff are always helpful and kind, and we enjoy the holiday parties they host. I have a hard time understanding the maintenance person (and I think he might have a hard time understanding me as well). I am a little disappointed in the tenants that dont follow rules and wish there was a way to enforce them better, but I understand its not always easy- you cant watch every one all the time. It would be nice to have a dog area again, maybe with a camera to deter pet owners from not cleaning up after their animals.
They definitely need more security for the many people who live there. Ive witnessed two robberies since moving in and my dad stopped both of them. Although the pool is nice, and Pam is one of the nicest women I have ever met, shes nice to everyone she meets and always has a smile on her face, her kindness is welcoming and she makes sure each customer is happy before they leave the office. I hope she never leaves.
I have lived in these apartments for 17yrs. A lot has happened in that time and I think the owners and the managers are currently trying to make this a nice community to choose to live in. The apartment grounds are inviting and the current owners and Management are working on the entire complex go provide upgrades where needed. It is a big job and time and patience are the key to all the nice new things coming our way.
The property is decent and I haven’t had many issues with the residents but the legal know-how and tenant rights are very questionable here. My information was constantly disclosed to roommates wanting to raise chaos, starting more issues then what was ever necessary. The office staff is kind and informative, but perhaps to informative as they have no real loyalty to anyone there. It was a painful experience and wouldn’t suggest living here unless absolutely necessary.
The office staff and maintenance is amazing when it comes to things. However there are residents who think the parking lot is a freeway. Ive almost been hit 6 times now and kids like to run out into the parking lot in front of cars. And the parking sucks.
Even at the most busy times, and even when I say its not a rush job, little things I request to be fixed that I cannot fix myself are always done quick and with a smile. Greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I am updating this Since AMC management has taken over at Bridge Creek, they have really stepped up their game. If theres an issue, the office or maintenance takes care of it immediately. I fell down the stairs and one of the maintenance men helped me walk to my car and carry my things. Thats not in their job description but he helped me anyway. I am moving, but only because I found an apartment with a better commute to work, otherwise I would continue to live there. I will miss Pam in the office and each of the maintenance workers that have always been so helpful.
This review is just for the maintenance team. Im a current resident and had an issue with the garbage disposal. It froze up and was starting to stink. Put in a service request and within the hour Marcus and Wayne showed up and replaced it quickly. They were both very nice and friendly and very helpful. This was the first issue Ive had with my apartment
So overpriced its not even funny. It is been almost 2 years and still havent got my maintenance request fulfilled. Not to mention the constant threats of fines and fees.
Worst apartments ive ever lived at. I have lived at 3 different apt. complexes in the past 8 years. There is loud cars in the parking lot every night. police sirens and visits AT LEAST twice a week, sometimes multiple times a night, several times a week. Ants in the walls on the 3rd story and I am a VERY clean individual. Carpet, Cabinets, Walls, Fixtures, and Amenities all old and falling apart. For the same price you can do MUCH better. I hope that this helps keep those interested away. YES, its THAT bad.
Overall decent place to live. My only complaints is that a lot of the residents just throw garbage where every especially near the dumpster. Instead of throwing it in the dumpster its everywhere outside the dumpster. I see the maintenance technicians cleaning up all the time. The other is that due to having old windows throughout the apartment, they leak and have a lot of moisture that creates mold so we are constantly having to dry them off. Pretty quiet place though. Rent is a little steep for the quality but it will do for now.
Instantly felt at home, such a nice unit & great staff. All around pleasant experience this far!
Pam made this place more like a great home. My wife loved her. Yall better be nice to her. Yall better keep her as long as you guys can. Through everything Pam is the main reason why we loved it so much. In case you didnt get the message by now we love pam and our apartment as well.
Cant say Ive had issues with the management. So thats where they earn the one star....But the people they let in this complex are horrible. My brand new car just got hit(hit and run) and of course theres no security camera so we are now having to pay for the cost. And then not even a week later my husbands truck gets broken into and someone took everything they could . Cameras need to be installed the one security guy that walks around is nothing for this complex we need cameras. You guys must have money to install at least that. I mean theres like 300 apt complexes you guys get like 2000+ a month for ONE apt. I would not recommend this apt complex
If you want to abandon a stolen vehicle this is the complex. There are three cars that have been abandoned since July. Multiple complaints about them and the people in the office do nothing. Its hard enough finding a visitor spot
UPDATE:Our neighbors are a bunch of guys that do nothing but smoke pot and let their giant dogs roam the stairs to poop everywhere. Ive complained multiple times to the office staff, letting them know I have WITNESSED this happening and at most theyve sent out fliers door to door. Our other neighbors have their music SO LOUD at all hours of the night its ridiculous. We now arent allowed to have ANYTHING on our front step area, even if we arent blocking a pathway. The neighbors leave garbage all over their corner and now everyone leaves their cigarette butts all over the stairs and ground because we cant have things on our front areas. If I could give 0 stars I would.ORIGINAL:When we were showed the model apartment, everything had been updated in that unit. We knew we were unfortunately getting a non-renovated model because they were cheaper. But the apartments dont even look remotely similar. We were told about the parking, which is that you get an assigned spot and have to take a visitors spot or park on the road. So its a daily battle to steal away a visitors spot in front of a whole different building, or park in the ditch where I got my vehicle stuck and had to have it pulled out. Very disappointed in this place because it looked so nice during the walk through. I dont feel like its worth almost 1000 to live here.
I have 23 unresolved maintenance requests. Thats right 23. Not 2 or 3 but 23
Linda at the office is probably the rudest person that I have ever spoken to. Ive been here almost 3 years and no respect. Maybe you guys should hire someone who likes their job.
Black mold. I Havent talked to one of my neighbors who doesnt have black mold. Windows leak. Cars get keyed. No security cameras. Almost hit someones pet rooster??? Save yourself health bills. Homeless camp across the way with addicts screaming profanities. Honestly scary place to live. Dont do it.
Nice place to live. Lots of ammenities. Mgmt staff are awesome!
Inspections happen I get that. But when i tell you me niece is taking a shower you cant check the bathroom. It is unacceptable that you immediately try and check the bathroom
I havent had any issues with the management. Pam is very kind. Now the people/ kids that live here are another story unfortunately, kids are unattended 100 percent of the time... stairs are pretty wiggly.. parking sucks... there is an apt with 2 big lab mixes that take their dogs to the little off leash dog area to poop and the never clean up after them so cant use that area either... I guess the only thing I like about this complex is the managers dont bother you unless they need to ...
Never felt safe living there! Fights often in the parking lot. Police there all of the time, stuff stolen off my porch, gunshots........moved out.
I lived in Lodge Pine apartments for 18 months, a smaller complex that is managed by bridge creek right next door. The first week there, the neighbors kids took plants off my patio and destroyed them. There were lots of kids running around all the time getting into other peoples things, kicking balls around the parking lot and setting off car alarms. I know this is not necessarily the managements fault, but it is how the residents in this complex live, and dont discipline their children.Landscaping leaves much to be desired, mostly dirt out front and back of my apartment with a half dead tree out front.Very old cabinets and well, everything else in the apartment. There were roaches when I first moved in and the freezer part of the refrigerator didnt work. Almost NONE of the outlets worked, they were either too lose to hold a plug or just didnt work at all. Not sure how they didnt notice that when cleaning and preparing my apartment for a new tenant (me). Management was prompt with the repairs and pest removal, and was good about fixing things promptly throughout my lease. When I moved out, I forgot to cancel my utilities on the apartment until about 10 days after turning in my keys and handing over the apartment. My fault, of course. However, Clark PUD said Bridgecreek could call and backdate the bill if they just validated that I was not loving there for the past ten days. When I called Bridgecreek, they refused. So I basically paid for all the electricity used to clean and prepare the apartment for the next tenant. There is NO reason they could not have called Clark PUD for me, other than to cheat me and not be responsible for the electricity THEY used. They do accept large dogs, and had an apartment available immediately when I needed it.If you arent in a pinch and can find a better place to rent, I strongly suggest avoiding these apartments.
This place is awful, not even two months into moving in there was a murder suicide in the building behind us gunshots going off swat team telling everybody to stay in the aparment; then about a month later a stabbing was done by our neighbor to his family ( the father of the child did the stabbing) then car jacked one of the other neighbors. Then a strange man chased our friend from the street into our apartment then the next day someone broke in. We tried to break our lease and the staff did everything possible to make us stay knowing how unsafe we felt as we were two very young girls on our own. They charged us more then they were suppose too. We had to argue with them forever. We broke our lease and they tired to charge us for the next month we didn’t live there (after telling us, “the day you move out is the day you stop paying rent” ) the over charged us soooo much. Moral of the story. They say the do background checks, but they do not for every resident they have so you don’t rwally know who your living next too. Your children really are NOT safe.!
We have enjoyed living at Bridge Creek Apartments. It is pretty quiet and we have had no issues with other residents and the office staff is incredibly friendly. My only issue is with the after hour maintenance hotline. We had flooding in our bathrooms (water was coming up out of the shower drain and flooding the bathroom and toilets) and there was major miscommunication between the hotline agent and the on-call maintenance. Which led to us not being able to use either bathroom for the rest of the night and most of the next day. The maintenance guys are great though!
Dont waist time on Application if you been to hotel Vancouver. Have stupid charge and the renting manager said they would rent to me in a lot of words. But they turned me down. Its all good, its kind of like rolling crack off of 78th.
Way over priced, the manager is extremely unhelpful and rude as well as the rest of the office staff. I lived there for a year they had horrible parking it was always full. One time I parked in an unmarked spot and got towed away I complained to the office and they just said oh well I guess it needs to be marked and they put up a cone with the parking space number about a month later no apology or anything. This place is horrible and I don’t recommend it one bit. The neighborhood is nick named little Mexico and my guess is because it’s ghetto AF!
I have had a leak from upstairs pipes that has taken 2 years to be worked on. Currently there is a hole above our shower that is being temporarily covered up by a garbage bag.Its been 3 weeks and there is still a garbage bag on my ceiling that is leaking water. This is a 600 a month value facility and we are paying 1200.
Update:The management has gone overboard trying to make this place nice. ANYTHING outside is now a lease violation (no chairs, no benches, forget about your pots of cooking herbs or more than one *small* plant), even things that are safety measures and dont block access to the units or walkways. We are now looking into leaving. I cant accept being told that non-intrusive safety methods (like a pressure-mounted child gate) to keep a special needs child isnt allowed, with one day to remove and then theyll inspect. We cant do this. It makes this place dangerous for a special needs child.Original:We were skeptical of this apartment complex because of the reviews, but were in a position of not really having much choice. Time was too short to be choosey. Having animals makes things difficult. We thought they were probably lying about the complex having just been bought by a new company and bringing in new management back at the very beginning of August. But as I said, we didnt have much of a choice. To our VERY pleasant surprise, living here has been one of our best apartment experiences. Management has always been very responsive and proactive. To deal with the cold weather, theyve taken precautions to keep pipes from freezing by turning off the fire sprinklers, but to ensure safety, theyve paid fire crew complete with fire trucks to be at the complex for the duration just in case any fires come up. (None have, and the sprinklers are back on.) To fend off a slight increase in people not picking up dog poo, theyve enlisted some residents to give our rewards to people caught picking up their dogs poo, and theys installed a fenced, off-leash dog park. When we got locked out of our apartment, they sent a locksmith though it was after office hours. I expected a bill. They consider it part of taking care of the residents. The list of positives goes on.The only negatives come from other residents, but Im not bothered enough to do anything about it. Weve got a lot of kids here who get loud when they play, as kids tend to do. Im not even going to complain about kids screaming and squealing while theyre playing outside. We all did it when we were kids. Better to be outside moving around than sitting inside. So I will gladly have a movie Im watching enhanced by the sounds of kids. By the way, those kids have been so sweet to my disabled daughter. My little girl has been on the receiving end of bullying before, but she hasnt here. These kids also are willing to do chores, like dog-walking, to EARN money. Cant complain when kids want to earn money instead of expecting it to be handed to them. The people in the apartment below us root for a football team I hate, so when they cheer, I groan. But thats a personal thing. :)I do recommend this place to my friends, and I will continue to do so.
You have to pay to sign up for online payments and then they charge you online processing fees for every payment.
Maintenance came right away and accessed the problem and fixed it. Thank you
(2014)This place definitely needs updated reviews. This complex is by far one of the better places I have lived. Office staff for the most part are great and take care of any issues that arise. Everyone has off days. Apartments are larger than most. Reasonable rent.Pet friendly and they work with you on your rent/deposits etc.The negatives: The W/S/G seems to go up every month. Fitness center is in need of updated machines that work. Laundry mat needs working machines; a third of em are not working and the business center has not worked since I moved in 6 months ago. Small parking spaces and not enough parking. Only TV service I am able to get is Comcast due to the location of apartment.(2016)Update: after being here almost 2 years, I have learned that it has new management, repainted but didnt fix the issues. Always trying to improve looks of apartments at tenants cost. They do not deal with complaints about neighbors(mainly because theres not much they can do). Even though they have breed restrictions, I have seen every single breed on the list. I personally like all breeds but I wish they would put their animal on a leash. The office doesnt enforce that either. The dog run gates are broken and have been for some time. The dog run is full of poop because owners do not pick up after their animals. They still have an issue with the homeless camp across the street getting into the compactor.they keep raising rent. Walls are thin.(2019)Update #3: New owners & new maintenance.: ( Remodel going on in the office( getting game room/ exercise room ) .New dog park!! and the old one is still here and open. New fire pit and bench swings and bbq station in the quart yard!!!parking still is an issue and is getting worse. Homeless camp is gone because more apartments are being built. Still can here everything from the neighbor above me ( wish theyd install insulation between the levels). Im able to hear people run up the stairs because it shakes everything on my walls. Theres not as much dog doodoo not being picked up but its still pretty bad. Rent is a bit spendy.
Worst apartment ever. Poor office support. Too many kids. Too many smokers. Impossible for visitor to park vehicle. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
I lived in Bridge Creek Apartments for almost 3 years. When moving in everything was easy and quick. I enjoyed working with Serena over the phone, and Pam in the front office. Both ladies were polite, and helpful.....(Cont. Reading)I was a little worried with all the bad comments, however our family needed to be out of our house before the end of the month, and we only had two weeks to move.We rented a two bed one bath, on the second level apartment. The apartment complex has three levels, and the stairs are cornered with each level. However the stairs are wide and you can get furniture up them. The apartment was clean and move in ready. It is not the most up to date, however it worked for what we needed. The apartments have children who are loud, and you can not have open windows for very long due to smokers. Some neighbor’s porches are not pretty to look at because of things they choose to have on them. (Arm chairs, etc.) The landscape is manicured, however some buildings have scratches or writing on them due to the kids using rocks to scratch at the walls. Some of my neighbors played awful and loud music throughout the day. Most neighbors gave me the creeps, and were pretty ghetto. And no one watches the neighborhood kids who like to break pieces of wood off the fence out back, or sit on peoples cars. (Yes I have watched them do this many times). The apartments do allow pets, two per apartment. (Dogs & Cats). We also rented a garage, and it was surprisingly large. You get 1 assigned space, and sometimes you come home from a long day to find someone has parked there. They do not tow vehicles, just attach a warning card to the vehicles windshield. Which leaves you to wander around the apartments looking for a open visitor space. (Good Luck!)When applying for an apartment online you can see how many are available, and once you put your application in they hold the apartment until it is approved or denied. It was very easy to fill everything out online.Love the area (Hazel Dell- Northern Vancouver), it is close to Winco, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, Blind Onion Pizza, Regal Cinemas, Walgreens, fast food (McDonalds, Burger King, Baja Fresh, Subway, Taco Bell, etc.), I-5, Highway 99. Our child’s school will be Sarah J. Anderson Elementary. The school teaches kids Spanish and English, and the school bus comes right in front of the apartments.I believe my favorite thing is we can pay rent and all fees right online each month. You have to have renter’s insurance, and you can call their apartment for renter’s insurance through them. Or you can go through your own insurance of choice. We had to have a month’s worth of pay stubs, and current ID’s, when we went in to sign paperwork. Whenever I called the office I would get the voice mail, however they promptly returned my call the same day, if not the next day.I hope this post helps anyone looking for a affordable, pet friendly apartment.
Ive gotten what I paid for, I have not been disappointed. The only crazy thing Ive seen is that my neighbor continues to steal one of my other neighbors paid parking and I just feel bad for her.
People upstairs are so loud walking like they are stomping kids running upstairs day and night so annoying..
WORST PLACE I HAVE E-V-E-R LIVED!I cant even begin to explain how terrible I was treated. The manager Leslie is cold hearted two face b*tch. And Veronica was one snippy individual with an attitude that was just as bad as the manager. April wasnt to bad, but still the staff is awful! They dont care about u or your needs of the home they provide u with. All they want is your money and will give u any type of notices on your door to get it. They CHARGED me for a piece of paper THEY put on MY door! How ridiculous is that? Once my lease was up I got up out there so quick. Before the new management took over (Riverstone) The old management was amazing and so thoughtful to your needs. Now the place is over priced and ran by a pathetic staff. My apartment was broken in to and they didnt do one thing about it. I guess what Im trying to say is its the worst place to live. Its no place to raise a family and u cant enjoy having a comfortable living environment with them always screwing up. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Point blank.
Worst Place ever! When we first moved in, it seemed nice. but our first week was already riddled with problems. the office lady, April, gave us the wrong parking spot THREE TIMES. our apartment had not been assigned a parking spot, so instead of looking on the list to see which one wasnt taken, she guessed and i kept getting green stickers on the window of my car saying it would be towed if I did not move it. Second, we paid our rent via moneyorder, and the day after it was due, we had a notice on our door saying pay up, or get out. they hadnt even looked through all the money orders before sending those out, and it took them two hours to confirm that mine was in there. Third, my roommate went down and asked April if he could have a copy of our lease agreement, which they told us we could have at any time, and she told him No on three separate occassions before simply telling him that she lost it and couldnt find it. The manager finally just printed off one from the computer. Finally, in most recent events, April, who is now my FAVORITE person, gave my roommate a paper stating that our lease was up July 31st, and assured him it was correct. knowing how April functions, I went down to double-check this, and April was the only one there. So once again she assured us that our lease was up on this date, and wouldnt check. So, naturally, considering its now almost the end of July, we made arrangements to live somewhere else, and I even have a transfer going to a new job far, far away. Of course, knowing how things tend to work out around here, the manager informed me that our lease wasnt up until AUGUST 31st, meaning we have yet another month of rent to pay. Even though I have the paper that THEY gave me, there is nothing that they can do, saying its my responsibility to keep my eye on the end date of my lease. Which is what I mistakenly tried to do while asking the incompetant desk lady to check on it. In the matter of un-related things, we have had our cars broke into, which the supposed cameras could not help with, have had sheriffs with guns knock on several of our neighbors doors, and cant walk near the grass without stepping in dog poop. Also the kids are loud and annoying, and people are always partying loudly after the noise ordinance is up, yet security wont tell them to call it a night. So if you must stay here for some unknown reason, do not ask the office lady for ANYTHING; always speak directly with managers, even though half the time neither are there, and dont walk through grass or expect to see your car in the morning.
If I could give zero stars I would.
Third and final notice stop losing track the fact that Ive signed up for your insurance
This is the worst apartment complex I have EVER in my life rented with. They did not resolve any problems that were taken to management. There was always an excuse for everything you came to the office about. The staff in the office are extremely rude, and extremely unhelpful. The apartments are extremely noisy and then when we called security, nothing ever got taken care of. When move-out time rolled around, they charged us for cleaning fees that were there because of THEIR maintenance people. They also changed the lock on the doors 5 days early because one roommate turned theirs in early, but told them not to change locks. They didnt care and did it anyway and told me it was my problem. She told me she doesnt have time for it. I would never, ever recommend these apartments to anyone. The manager Leslie, is the worst manager ever. I dont even know how she got the job because her people skills are the worst. Veronica is another staff lady and has the worst attitude out of all of them. Condescending, rude, and not personable at all.
Horrible. This place is crime ridden.
Great, quiet, clean, friendly place to live.
The place needs a lot of work, the carpet needs to be replaced, its always noisy and people are always in my parking spot that I have to pay $15 a month for???
It is unacceptable how long I have gone without a fully functioning dryer
Kitchen sink clogged and disposal jammed, called and took 2 days to get 10 minute fix.
