I would highly recommend! From the moment I called they were very informative with directions so that I was able to get same day service. With multiple calls made I was looking into next week service. The price didnt even break the bank. I had Casey fill up the refrigerant in no time! He was super friendly and easy to speak with! This place will handle all my heating and cooling needs in the future!

Had a furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater, and thermostat installed. Everything was explained clearly, recommended unit is great and all costs were thoroughly explained. There was no sales pressure and was a great experience. The install techs were awesome. Everything was installed in 2 days, they fixed some issues with the ducts and cleaned up everything before they left. They made sure to answer any questions and explain the new system. Very happy with the cost and install of our units.

Kent installed a new Air Conditioning Unit. Our original air unit was 24 years old and was beyond repair. The service and cleanup was excellent. I would recommend this Company to anyone looking for a new unit of Air or Heat and even maintenance.

Update: had the owner call me several times and left me three voicemails. I call back only for him to defend his employee for her attitude, he did apologize and said no ones perfect. He asked me to remove my review. I stated I was not going to. I waisted time with waiting on this company to come out.I called for air conditioning service at 3pm was told someone would be out same day. Two hours went by, so I called back to check on an ETA. Since it was after hours when I called back, I got the answering service and they stated they would page someone to call me with an ETA. When I got the call back I got a very rude female, she didn’t say her name. She started the conversation off with attitude, stating that absolutely no one would have promised me anything by 3. I was appalled with the straight rudeness, I literally said nothing about being promised anything by 3 as I called at 3. I told her I didn’t like her attitude and would be calling someone else. You don’t start off a conversation with pretty much saying to this potential new customer that they are a liar. Customer service advise, get the whole story before assuming and lashing out on your potential money coming into you. I got someone coming right now with no attitude.. won’t ever call Kent again.

Last year, our furnace went out on the coldest day of the polar vortex after business hours. Not only did Kent respond to my call, they provided me with space heaters, to prevent out pipes from breaking during the night. Sounds small, but when you furnace goes out and it is 45 degrees below zero and ALL the stores have sold out of spaces heaters...that is truly priceless. All of there workers were extremely professional and we were able to have our new furnace installed the next day. I chose Kent Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc because they were a local business but I will continue to do business with then because they went above and beyond to help out family during a difficult time.

I have been a customer since 2004 when Kent did an amazing job upgrading my home to a multiple zone system using the original duct work. Last year we called Kent for a air conditioner check up and to help with a issue with our zones. Mike was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem in less than a hour. This year, we decided to replace our 26 year old AC unit before it broke. Don came to our house and gave us a few price options and thoroughly explained everything. We had two other companies come in and Kent was the best price, and it wasn’t close. Darryl and Jeremiah installed our new unit in about a day....even during a down pour rain. This was a month ago and we’ve had zero issues. We’ve been nice and cool during this crazy heat. We’re completely happy with our new unit, and with the past experience with their service calls, I’m certain we made the right choice. They even mailed me all the Nipsco rebate paperwork filled out...all I had to do was put my account number in and mail off. We highly recommend!!

Installation of furnace and air conditioner.

My water heater was on its way out and I wanted to replace it with another high quality brand. After looking at several companies, Kent heating provided the highest quality part with reasonable installation/purchase rates. Installation happened quickly, staff was friendly and they did a great job of cleaning up. After installation I received a follow up call asking how the water heater was working with future recommendations on maintenance or things to watch out for. I will be using them again in the future.

Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have used them a few times for big and small jobs. Happy with the results each time.

The answering service for after hours will not answer. Waited on hold for 5 minutes. I’ll try the next company on the list.

Took bids from several companies for purchase & installation of new furnace & central air conditioner. Kent provided the best quote for equipment & installation services. All was handled quickly, efficiently & professionally by all involved from sales, office, and installers. Old furnace & air conditioner were removed, work site was completely cleaned, and paper work for rebates were completed & submitted for processing to Lenox and NIPSCO. Owner called me personally to thank me for my business!

Kent Heating and Cooling is the BEST around!We had a new furnace installed by Daryl and Daryl from Kent Heating and they were so helpful, and professional. Don helped us decide on which furnace to choose and he was amazing to work with as well. A few weeks after installation we received a call from the owner himself asking if everything was satisfactory, and we assured him it was a great overall experience, from the initial phone call to final installation. We would DEFINITELY recommend them to all!

I highly recommend this company. My heater stopped working overnight so I called Kent first thing the next morning. Everyone from their office staff to the technicians to the salesman were courteous and professional. Everything went along in a timely manner. While working in my home, the techs noticed a dangerous issue with my water heater venting (which they did not install, it had nothing to do with them) and fixed it free from charge. They will certainly have all of my heating/AC business from here on out.

Had our yearly cleaning done and was told we NEEDED a new furnace after 19yrs due to a cracked heat exchanger and Kent heating & Air tagged it DO NOT USE !! Told servicemen I NEEDED sales to be here b4 I left for work and he was here in 35 minutes and was talking of 2 choices that would work for us and had it installed the following day and techs were here at 8am to get old furnace removed and new furnace installed b4 1:30pm . Thanks again for the fine job the crew did .

I was referred to Kent Heating and Air Conditioning by a friend of mine. I cannot begin to express how pleased I was with the level of professionalism displayed by everyone at Kent. I had gotten a quote from another company, and just called Kent to get a second opinion. They sent out Don, who has thirty years experience with heating and cooling. Don patiently went through every option, and at no time did I feel like he was treating me like an imbecile because I wasnt as experienced as he was. Don helped me obtain financing for the project, and called to follow up right before the scheduled appointment. His level of customer service is unmatched.The day of the appointment I was greeted promptly at 9 a.m. by Rich and Will. Both were very professional and polite. They installed my new furnace is one day, to make sure my family was warm that night. The next day they were just as punctual, as they finished up installing my air conditioning.Near the end of the second day I went downstairs to inform them that we were leaving to go out for lunch. They told me they would be done soon. Both personally thanked me for the business. It was something unexpected but really nice to hear.In the end, I cant recommend Kent Heating and Air Conditioning enough. They will be my go to company from now on.

With so many HVAC contractors to choose from, we first look to see if the firm is ACCA certified. Kent is certified and is also a 50-year Lennox certified dealer. Since we were replacing our complete furnace and A/C system, quality of workmanship and thoroughness were high on our list. Everyone we dealt with from Kent was completely professional and helpful, from Don who guided us through the speccing process, Corey and his installation team who saw to every detail during the week install, the office personnel, and Mr. Kent himself who arrived to check out the job. Replacing the whole system isn’t cheap, so it was important that we get quality work and attention to detail. A top-notch experience with a first-class company. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them for any job, big or small.

I hope my $80 bucks saves you thousands!If I could give less than one star I would! They were extremely fast to come out but that was where my satisfaction ended unfortunately. They took no less than 5 minutes to tell me it would be 700 in parts alone not counting labor and I should just finance a new furnace at 3 grand and oh by the way you need new duct work too!Stay away from these con artists!Beware of Mike and definitely their slime ball sales guys!

We needed a furnace so went with a well-known name in the area...Kent. Although the cost was a bit more than the competition, we thought we were getting a better furnace and better service. They couldnt squeeze us in before the holidays, but were great about coming out on Christmas Eve to band aid what we had to hold us until Monday. We were told that there may be a smell for a couple of days as the furnace settles in...nothing to worry about. After a few days... yes, I have been smelling GAS. We called them out again, and sure enough, they didnt tighten the gas line, so we had a gas leak. I would think that a company that was installing furnaces would take the time to use a gas detecting meter to insure the safety of its customers.

Kent installed our new furnace in a timely and professional manner. We got three proposals and chose Kent. The advice from Don and the installation work were excellent.

I recently requested a service for this company, the guy came and he entered my house without removing the shoes and step into the carpet. He did not care about customers house. Also he was sending text messages while talking to me. Very unprofessional!!He estimated that 1 week can get the parts because he said that need to wait to get the parts. Does he really care about my A/C and outside 88 degrees??Did he care about my carpet or being professional at all times. I do not trust this kind of guys, also the recepcionist said $75 just to check the issue, the guy charged $79.I requested to another company and 1 day i got the parts and now is working and cheaper than estimation. Stay away of this unprofessional company.

I work at a local animal hospital and we were having issues with our air in our front lobby/reception area. Not only was this a huge inconvenience to our employees, but it also made it uncomfortable for our clients and their pets. We called on Kent Heating and Air as we always do when we have an issue with our system, and they were prompt, came right out to access the issue, ordered the part they felt was hindering the air to work properly, and fixed it the next day. Greg, the tech they send out to service our unit, was not only very knowledgeable about our system, but he was very professional and caring as well. We were very happy with the results! We can breathe again!

All I can say about this company is WOW! I had my furnace go out 2 weeks ago and made the mistake of calling Four Seasons. They sent out a tech who mis diagnosed the problem and told me my heat exchange was ok, The fix lasted less then a week before going back out. I called Kent out and within 5 minutes the tech found cracks in my heat exchange and that I needed a new furnace. He called out a salesman who came out after hours even though he had plans and got me setup with a new furnace. When the installers came to install it they were extremely friendly and very professional, not only that they did a fantastic job installing the new furnace. I will never call another heating and air company again and would advise anyone who reads this that is having problems to quit reading anymore reviews and call Kent.

Very professional company

Kent Heating and Air installed both my furnace and air conditioning unit. They were very knowledgable about the systems and did not try to upsell anything unreasonable. Once the unit came in it was easy for me to set up the time to have them install, even when I have a very busy schedule and they had to work around me. The installers were great and did a great job on all the sheet metal fabrication for the new furnace. They also did a full replacement of the electrical wires from the junction box to the unit (small detail, big difference). The furnace is performing freat and know it is backed by the 10 year warranty on the equipment. Oh and also cool was the fact that they sent in my paperwork for my Nipsco Rebate and all I had to do was sign the dotted line and collect a check. Thank you Kent Heating and Air!
