VERY IMPRESSED with this company and their 3 employees Ive interacted with so far. Mike came over first & gave me a great overview regarding air quality options, then Rob came out to do a full diagnostic visit of our furnace & AC systems -- he provided an extremely thorough & professional explanation of the status of my equipment in the house I recently bought and also explained my repair vs replace options/recommendations (both verbally and with detailed notes afterward). Ive dealt with other local HVAC companies and Aire Serv is leaps & bounds above them in terms of quality service. They have my full recommendation, support, and long-term business!

They came out and fixed my pool heater. No one else would bother. Did a great job at a minimal price. I would highly recommend them.

Its really a great company to have at your side honestly. The only thing that they need to change asap is the fact that only the office people can charge your credit account. So if you have a credit card account setup with them, and you have an after hours emergency, the service men have to charge you out of your own pocket because they dont have the authority to charge the companys credit account customers. My pregnant wife and 2 kids and I had to sit through a hot summer night, because our central ac unit was blowing warm air. We have a $2500 credit limit, but they couldnt charge us because the office was closed. We had to wait until 2pm the next day. This place deserves 5 stars but that experience knocks off a star for us.

As long as I live in Valpo, Aire Serv will be the first company I call whenever I have HVAC issuesUnfortunately for me, both my furnace and AC unit went out this year. On both occasions, I called Aire Serv and they had a technician at my house in less than 2 hours. The techs were courteous and thoroughly explained the issues I was having and my options.When I opted to purchase new equipment both times (new furnace and then a new AC unit) they sent a sales rep to my house in person within a few hours of my calling them. My sales rep - Mike - was very personable and explained in detail all the options available to me. When my AC unit went out, he even brought a complimentary portable AC unit to help keep my bedroom cooled until the new AC unit could be installed, which was a life saver in the 90 degree weather.Financing was quick and painless (took less than 20 minutes) and there was a variety of options available to me. Installation of my new equipment was fast and the techs doing the install were professional and clean, and left my property looking just as good as when they arrived.When something as major as a furnace or AC unit fails its an incredibly stressful experience especially for a new homeowner like myself. Aire Serv made me feel at ease and confident that I was getting the best service and equipment available to me!

Aire Serv recently connected the room over our garage to our houses heating and cooling system, and insulated the floor. This had not been done when the house was built. The room is now completely comfortable. Aire Servs staff were competent, careful and easy to talk to. They did a great job and we are very happy with their work.

I called Mike after seeing his advertisement on Nextdoor. He came out the same day to quote us for a new AC unit and schedule the install. He was extremely professional, educated, and friendly! Ashley, in the office, was wonderful to work with over the phone. Our technicians were Milo and Ramon, they did a wonderful job and treated my home and kids with respect. They were also very educated on what they were doing. The unit itself is larger and much quieter than our old one. I feel very secure in the quality of work that was done and I would recommend them to anyone. We will be calling Mike in the fall for a new furnace. A+ service!!

Great Service, I had a New Amana 60,000 But Ordered that was out of stock, Got Upgraded to next Furnace Model Up for the Same Price. I am thoroughly happy with the install.They Installed/Sealed up unit made sure it was installed/working correctly, as well as removed all trash and old furnace. I will be a Returning customer, I need a new Amana Ac unit/coil and lines.I did my research on Aire Serv and other installers/ Furnace brands. Im sticking with Aire Serv and Amana.

Aire Serv came out and replaced my compacitor. They took pictures of the bad components. Gave an estimate of all work they recommended be done with pictures attached and sent the invoice straight to my email, all while I was sitting inside. I thought the company was great. The service was great. Respectful of our home and they show their work. I felt the price was fair and honest. They are definitely a company that does business in a modern way.

When they came over to my house it ended up being a silly problem that required no assistance, yet my parents were still charged an excessive amount. When my family tried to get some of their money back or at least a discount since the company services didn’t do much my family was treated horribly. Even when my family tried to tell others about their experience the company (possibly manager or owner) shut them down and kept them quiet forcibly. This took away an important right that should be able to be practiced freely, freedom of speech. I do not recommend this company nor their services whatsoever. I doubt my family will ever forget this horrible experience and treatment.

We cannot be happier with the service we received from Aire Serv! We realized our AC was going on one of the first hot days of the year and right over Memorial Day weekend. Aire Serv was quick to respond and set a meeting with us to discuss our options. We met with Mike and couldnt be happier with his knowledge, experience, and genuine concern with fixing our problem. Our AC and furnace needed replacing and due to the previous home owners or builder we also needed ductwork fixed and a return installed on our main level. Mike explained every option in detail and made his recommendation. I have to say that he was so down to earth and just very enjoyable to work with. We met with Aire Serv a couple of times before they did the work so they could form a plan on how to install the duct work we needed and make the system work for us to increase our efficiency and save us money. Woke up this morning to no heat. Temperatures in the teens outside and going to get colder. Called Aire Serv as we use them at my employer. It was a mid-range price point for air-duct cleaning of a very old rental house where huge dogs had shed massive amounts of hair and dragged in a mound of dirt with them. They did a great job cleaning them out, my husband even checked them the next time he came to the house and they got his seal of approval.

Furnace went out today on the coldest day of the year and the owner came out and took care of the problem. Turns out 7 year old furnace was installed incorrectly (by a different company I no longer use). Unfortunately for me I needed a new furnace. The owner made sure I was taken care of and installed the new one on the same day. His whole team is very professional and courteous. I can not be more happy besides the fact that I only got 7 years out of a furnace, but it was not their fault.

Mike came out to evaluate what type of equipment we had and what we were looking for. We initially were looking for a furnace humidifier and wanted them to look at the suspect filter that was provided when our furnace was installed. It was insufficient as expected so we also went with a much better filtration system. Mike was knowledgeable, informative and did not push unnecessary services. Ian did the installation of the furnace humidifier, electronic filter and tune up. Ian took a little longer than expected, but that was due to his methodical, conscientious work style and pride in his workmanship. He did a thorough job and didnt mind if I watched the installation (kind of encouraged it). I feel that too often I have received less than acceptable customer service, but Aire Serv reassured me that there are companies that take pride in their workmanship. Thanks goes to Mike and Ian.

Aire Serv has performed all maintenance on our HVAC for the past few years. Most recently, our 12 year old furnace went out overnight. I called Aire Serv in the AM and had a tech at our house within a couple of hours. Our furnace had to be replaced and the work was completed that day by 7:30. Everyone that we talked to was knowledgeable and professional. Couldnt be happier with their work.

Well our old furnace was making god awful noises so I called the night before thanksgiving Ramon (service guy) came out that night till midnight to look at it gave us very good information how it could catch on fire or kill us with CO2 they came in today (Ramon) and his helper and put in our new Amana furnace and pointed out another issue which will be fixed by then in the future all I gotta say is they care about people’s well being making sure everything is safe for use and well it’s well worth the price! Me and my husband are beyond thankful for this company!

Started using Aire Serves maintenance and was so impressed by the service and professionalism of Ramon, we knew they would be the company to trust with our complete home system replacement. After extensive research, I knew Amana was the brand I wanted for my home. Mike came over and after assessing our home and lifestyle, went over several options and helped us pick the best option for us and our budget. Its been a few weeks now and we can honestly say we have never been more comfortable in our home. Our old system could never keep up, it would be set on 68 degrees in the summer and would have to run all day to keep the room around 74 degrees. Now, we keep it at 73 degrees and the thermostat have never changed and the entire house is crisp & cool, even set at 73. Installation was fast, clean, informative and we could not be more happy with the entire crew!

My air stopped working on a 93 degree day this week and I made the call to Aire Serv. Sandy was very helpful in asking me questions about my situation to find out what could be wrong with the unit. She dispatched a technician and he was at my house in just 45 minutes after calling. Patrick was the service technician they sent and he was fantastic. He diagnosed the problem and had the air running again in just about an hour. He was very knowledgeable in AC units and did an amazing job keeping me informed on what he was doing and what was wrong with my unit. I had a 32 year old furnace I wanted to replace. I got quotes from all the typical name brand suppliers near me. Mike Teall came over and after assessing our home, he went over several options and helped us pick the best option for us. He was extremely personable and professional. Only Amana had the features we wanted in a 80% AFUE furnace.Their stainless steel (lifetime warranted ) heat exchanger was not even an option with the other (80% AFUE) rated brands. Coupled with a silent (no spark) hot surface flame igniter, two stage burner, 2 speed induced draft motor and a variable speed ECM blower motor made this a “no brainer” choice for us. Aaron at Aire Serv in Valparaiso quoted me $775 to do some ductwork in my basement. Had the same work he quoted done by another vendor for $275.

Last year, July 2017, I had Aire Serv of Valparaiso out to fix my air conditioning unit. They replaced the start capacitor and the contactor on my unit, as well as, checking to make sure my whole hvac system was in good working order. I paid the full price for this service, somewhere between $400-$500, and had no problems the rest of the year. This year, May 2018, I fired up the a/c unit for the first time, got it to work twice, then had my whole hvac system fail on me. I replaced my cheap, old thermostat with a modern, Nipsco referred thermostat thinking that this may solve the problem. However, everything still did not work. I found a blown fuse on the electrical panel in the furnace and replaced it. This got the furnace components to work, but every time I turned the a/c on it would blow the fuse. I narrowed down the problem to it being a short somewhere in the a/c unit and thought it was possibly the contactor that was installed by Aire Serv the prior July. I called them out, and upon arrival I told the service technician the work we had done by them last July, the work we had recently done ourselves, and what we thought the problem was. The service technician went to work checking out the whole system, testing wiring, checking that everything was plugged in correctly, and making sure the thermostat was installed properly. After an hour to an hour and half his manager, the owner of the Valparaiso Aire Serv franchise, showed up unannounced to help out with the situation. They spent another hour to an hour and a half checking and re-checking everything, and in this process, they blew the remainder of my fuses which I purchased from the local Ace Hardware earlier that day. Finally, they tried replacing the contactor on the a/c unit with a new one and that got everything working again without blowing fuses. When the manager/owner was writing up the bill for this service he told me that I was going to be taken care of since their part (with at max 3 months of run time on it) failed and they spent around 3 hours of time at my house late into the evening when they were made aware of the problem immediately upon their initial arrival. However, on the bill he charged me the full price for their service of the contactor again ($235) and on top of that charged me an extra labor fee for their time spent at my house ($150). So not even a year later from the last time I had them out to replace the same part, I was charged close to another $400. I paid in good faith thinking this was a misunderstanding and planned to call the owner the next day to get this straightened out. When I called and inquired about the issue of my bill, he claimed he charge me appropriately for their service. When I expressed my frustration for having to pay the full service price for their part that failed not even a year after installation and also being charged an extra labor fee, he said he could refund me the extra labor fee but I still had to pay the $235 for the contactor service and I had to sign a written document saying that I could not post any negative reviews online or on social media about my experience. To put it lightly, I am very unhappy with the way I was treated as a returning customer to Aire Serv. I am also extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I was shown especially by the franchise owner. I am writing this as warning to anyone who is looking for a company to do hvac work for them. This is the quality of service and customer care that you can expect from Aire Serv of Valparaiso.

On Sunday July 24,2016 our air went out. I called and they were so understanding and helpful. I was quite a bit panicked because we had a heat advisory of heat indexes up to 108 and my son has a medical condition. They assured me they were able to come out that day. The tech called and was able to get to our house within approximately 2 hours. I definitely recommend aire serv.

Unfortunately our AC died on the hottest weekend of the summer so far. We received a recommendation from a friend to call AireServ. I requested an appt online at 6:55am. We received a phone call at 7:15am, well before the office was open and were told someone would be out to the house by 8. The service tech showed up at 7:50. An hour after I made the first contact before business hours. My husband and I were immediately impressed. After the technician left, Mike Teal was in contact and came out within 30mins after to give us a quote. He was knowledgeable, respectful and took the time to answer any questions. Our appt time was at 8am the next day for install. The crew came in and laid down covers and wore booties to keep our home clean. They worked deligently and were done fast. Mike stopped in to check in with us and crew as well. I have never had such pleasent and knowledgeable customer service and in a time where our family was aggravated and hot. I would give them 10 stars if possible! Call AireServ and you’ll be glad you did!!

Mike provided excellent customer service and the crew was extremely informative and did great work
