Great company! Very reasonable prices and excellent staff.Very responsive and knowledgeable. Repairman showed up on time, inspection was very extensive. Technician explained the process, showed me the parts that needed replacement and inspected all the components.

During a recent storm our power went out in the neighborhood. We have a whole house generator with a sump pump and a finished basement. The last time the power went out for an extended period of time our basement flooded ruining all of our carpet because our whole house generator didnt start and we werent home. However this time I called Crown Wheele Mechanical and they sent someone out within a few hours. They were able to get the generator started by replacing the battery at a very reasonable price. I was extremely pleased and relieved that we didnt have to deal with another disaster and that me and the three kids including a newborn were comfortable until the power came back on.

Great business to work with. I was contacted in one day, a professional fully explained what I needed and DIDNT need - rare! The appointment was made within one week. During installation of a redundant sump pump, the technician gave recommendations for one additional improvement (alarm), which I included. Work was done quickly and efficiently.I had a secondary issue, and they spent time to diagnose and repair that issue on the same service call. I am highly impressed with the service!

I have a geothermal unit and the a/c was not working they came out within 1 hr on a holiday. Service person was able to get unit running within 30 minutes. They needed to order parts and had them the next day and installed before the afternoon.

Had a critical fault that shut down my geothermal system. My installer stopped servicing his installed geo units after being bought out. Dave came out promptly on the day of service. Reset system which corrected the fault. Showed me how to do it and added some fluid to my underground tubes. Job well done.

Crown Wheele Mechanical has provided excellent service on my heating and plumbing needs. They are responsive, timely, professional, and respond quickly to my heating and water related issues. They have replaced my old furnace, water heater, garbage disposal, sump pump, and fixed a leaky toilet. Additionally, fire and carbon dioxide sensors were installed as well as an Eco thermostat. When my old furnace quit working last February space heaters were provided until my new one was installed. They truly do go the extra mile for their customers.

They installed a whole house generator with an automatic transfer for me. The service was prompt and professional. The price was better than any quotes I received. They provide follow on regular maintenance service contract for the unit, well worth the cost. It has more than paid for itself during power outages during the extreme cold and bad weather !

Always seems like your ac stops working on the hottest day of the year. Called 8:00 am and was told a tech would be out 12-2. In the middle of the 95 degree days my AC stopped working. I called Crown Wheelie and they had a technician at my house within the hour and he had diagnosed the problem and had it fixed right away. I recently purchased a home that had a new furnace/AC unit installed last February by Crown Wheele. I called them to have a seasonal inspection done, as well as a humidifier installed on the unit. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, polite and professional. When the installer realized a part had to be replaced he went out of his way to ensure it was taken care of ASAP. We met Andy Wheele, years ago, at the Porter County Expo Home & Garden show. We we beginning our due diligence regarding a home generator. A couple of years later, we purchased a Generac and asked Andy to prepare a cost analysis for the project. the decision to go with Wheele was one of the best regarding home issues. The generator was installed on time, on budget and the area was as clean or cleaner than when the project was started. Since then, we have purchased, Wheele installed a new furnace, central air, humidifier and April Air system. They have replaced sump pumps, added electric to the barn and pool deck and probably a couple of other things. All always done, as promised.They are absolutely our go to company for heating, cooling, electric and plumbing. Couldnt ask for better. Great Family rum business.

Left our family beyond devastated and we still have no heat in our lower level in January.No record of who we are??? Last name is Kvachkoff.. We are the customers you have caused over a $100,000 in damages to flooding our house more than once due to freezing pipes in the geothermal unit, improperly installing two Heating units, causing Nipsco bills for months @ $1300.00!! Ring a bell?You are a terrible business and human beings for what you did to our family. We had to leave our home multiple times because of no heat! You destroyed our HOME! Way to hide from your inexperience, blatant negligence and shoddy work by turning this into your insurance company! We will make sure you are held responsible and will never do this to another family again!I find it hilarious you have all these positive reviews added all 2 weeks ago! Tech arrived on time and efficiently cleaned and inspected our furnace. He suggested replacement of the humidifier pad (which I had done myself in the past) and I decided to have it done as the price was very reasonable and saved me a trip out to a big box store to find the correct replacement pad.Overall they did a great job. Let me pay right away with my credit card, and send a receipt via email. I would highly recommend them.Last year I had them replace the pump in my basement sewage pit because it was noisy and 22 years old. Again, they did the job quickly and I have had no problems with it since.

I am on the maintenance plan and they come out and check everything to make sure we are ready for the season ahead.Summer 2021had crown come out and check out air system in may, now middle of summer and no problems. when you are older its great to know someone has your back
