I have been living here for 3 and a half years, and the management has always been very helpful. I moved to 2 different units throughout my time here and so far I have been very satisfied. Rosie and Jessica will always find solutions to a problem and resolve them with ease. All three of the maintenance staff members are fantastic at their jobs and always go above and beyond to resolve any issue you bring to them. Altogether, the Sandpiper team is very professional and driven to make sure their tenants are happy. Thank you guys for your hard work and dedication, you all make apartment living enjoyable.
We moved here in March and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff has been prompt to respond to our requests. Today we had the maintenance guys Jose and Kevin work on some window issues we were having and they took care of it quickly. They also were super sweet and patient with my 3yr old who kept talking to them while working. Definitely wanted to give those two a shout out!
(Excuse the email name, I haven’t been able to change it for a long time now on this account) but do NOT rent at this apartment complex. A majority of the reviews here are good but more than likely fake, check Yelp reviews for a more accurate look. This place made me a lease holder when I applied as an occupant with someone I was dating without my permission and then they sent me the apartments debt. These people will lie to your face. Rosie, Jessica, Oquioa the property manager. Everyone. I now owe thousands of dollars in collections because this place told me “everyone needs to sign the lease even if you’re an occupant” while I was 19 years old with no job and no money. They didn’t even check my ID because I wasn’t the one who was supposed to be the lease holder, I didn’t even pay any rent it wasn’t my apartment at all. They’ve also refused to send me our rental application because they don’t want to show that I did in fact apply as an occupant. Do not trust these people they are all putting on a nice act and it’s extremely convincing. They pretty much laughed in my face and acknowledged that they know what they did to me but won’t do anything about it. Check Yelp and look elsewhere. Rosie, Jessica and oquioa are all extremely bad people.
Man if youre not ready to sell your first born for a parking spot near your apartment then keep looking.
One of the most well managed apartments in Vacaville.
My family and I have been residents of Sandpiper Village for going on 6 months now. It has been a very pleasurable experience. When we walked in to the office, we felt welcome and ready to begin our new lives. The staff, the maintenance, and everything in between are just wonderful. Weve never been serviced better in any aspect, at any other residence. They truly make you feel wonderful. My husband works a lot and its just me and our infant daughter and I feel completely safe. Every part of the community is beautiful. The cleaning service does an immaculate job. And boy oh boy the insides are just as beautiful. I do not have a bad thing to say. I mean, of course the rent is a little on the expensive side, but this is the true definition of you pay for what you get I mean come on people youre in California. Nothing gets better than this, and you will fall in love with this place!
We loved living at Sandpiper Village Apartments! We were there for about a year and a half and have no complaints. Rosie and Jessica in the front office were always so friendly and helpful. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to make sure you are having a positive experience! The maintenance guys were great, too. Anytime we needed something fixed or repaired, they responded quickly to our request. They were also very friendly and would always say hello when they saw us around the complex. On top of all that, the apartments are so cute and well maintained! We had an upgraded 1 bedroom apartment and loved it. It was so perfect for us-- the only reason we moved was because we wanted 3 bedrooms! We have done a lot of apartment living and this was by far our best experience yet. I highly recommend this place!
Recently moved in from overseas and finding a place was tiresome and stressful. Also having a short deadline to do so didn’t help. After visiting countless apartment complexes and houses, the search felt more and more difficult. Sandpiper was a “just in case” on the bottom of the list. Thinking back, I wish it would have been our first visit. As soon as we entered the rental office we were greeted promptly and respectfully by Rosie who was enthusiastic and most importantly honest. She explained the entire processes without making us feel pressured. After showing us the available units, we were basically sold. The competitive pricing, neighborhood, convenience, and hospitality from the staff made it feel too good to be true. But it’s true. We moved in two weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier with our place. The entire staff has been nothing but respectful, courteous, and helpful. They have been efficient and speedy in resolving minor inconveniences we’ve had.If you’re in the market and looking for a place that will feel like a home, I highly recommend Sandpiper Village.
The office workers are so amazing and kind. I moved here from the Villas and the office workers there were not very friendly. Literally the first day with Sandpiper and the atmosphere in the office is great. I had put in a maintenance request on thanksgiving and the next day, the workers Kevin and his supervisor, came to my apartment and not only fixed the dryer vent, they installed the vent kit and fixed my washer hose. They painted a cabinet and cleaned it because it was overlooked. I literally have never had such an amazing experience living somewhere. I also had a technician come out to fix my TV, I called the office since I was at work and Jessica and Rosie went to my apartment and waited until the tech was done. I literally recommend this apartment complex to everyone!!! Such amazing workers and staff!! :)
Sandpiper Village Apartments is an amazing community. The staff is always professional and very friendly. They go above and beyond to get things done and taken care of. Rosie and her staff take pride in their work and it reflects on their responsiveness and the wonderful upkeep of this apartment complex. Rosie and her staff make a great team!
I love living at Sandpiper!!!! The staff is very attentive and they go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. This is actually my second time coming back! I couldnt find a better place to live. The renovations are beautiful and they continue to make improvements in the complex. They are close to shopping centers and the freeway.I would highly recommend living at Sandpiper Village.
Such wonderful response from the front office and maintenance teams! We had a few little issues we brought to their attention and they swung by to fix it same day, at our availability. Very friendly, very welcoming.
This apartment complex is amazing. The repairmen are friendly and always fix things fast. The office employees are extremely nice. And there are many amenities here. There is a tennis court, pool, barbecues, and a dog park. They valet our garbage, and offer coffee in the office. The gym is small, but has what we need. They are also going to be adding a childrens park soon, making it even better here.
Not only was it a pleasant experience to come home to a lovely treat, but I also get the opportunity to give credit where credit is due. The team here at Sandpiper Village is superior. I recently lost my mom and needed a place to hold a celebration of life and the clubhouse here was just the perfect spot. It is always exceptionally clean and is very inviting. The staff is always pleasant and the maintenance team is always available to lend a hand. The community is overall a home environment and i feel the entire staff needs recognition for that.
The office and maintenance staff at Sandpiper Village were outstanding!! Anytime we had an issue whether it was apartment related or not they were willing to help. The location is perfect— close to the freeway and close to the base. They are pet friendly.
Great Apartment community!! The management and Facility staff are outstanding. Ruddy and Jose have been very helpful with any and all maintenance items in the apartment getting them done quickly and friendly. Also Jessica and Rosie have been very patient and helpful, making me feel at home with the millions of questions I had/have all the time. Thank you all!!
I read the reviews and I thought to myself this sounds like a pretty cool place. Think about it stuff always break down thats life. Paperwork is lost sometimes thats life. So I called the Office spoke with a very professorial young lady name Ashley. I made an appointment came in and everything went real smooth. The place is clean and the people seemed friendly. The prices are priced perfect!!! They are now on top of my list!!See this move is important to me because I am now a empty nester. Thats right it just me now!!So down sizing has me excited and nervous at the same time. But after speaking with Ashley sheput me to ease with everything. Two Thumbs Up!!
Sandpiper Village offers great affordable apartments! The grounds and pool are always kept up and the staff always eager and ready to help with what ever needs you have! I would recommend Sandpiper Village Apartments to anyone!!!
Ive recently moved to Sandpiper and am still getting situated, but wanted to offer public praise where its due. The leasing office has been very helpful and friendly, the apartment itself is newly renovated and nicely done, but the maintenance staff, specifically Casey, has been so above and beyond what I could have expected. Casey has been fantastic from moments after first receiving keys to the apartment in addressing any issues that arose with a great attitude, great amount of knowledge, ability, and efficiency, and overall takes pride in his work and making sure residents are taken care of. Huge kudos to Casey and Sandpiper staff so far!(4/5 stars due to the abundance of contactor errors and oversights during the renovation that have been the cause of Caseys frequent response)
Such a wonderful apartment complex! The apartment itself isnt the most glamorous, but definitely cozy. What I really loved about living here was all of the wonderful staff. They always go above and beyond my expectations and were always super kind and friendly. This goes double for the maintenance team they have (Scott especially). He was one of the friendliest and hardest working staff I have ever come across.Moving day is always tough, and I had bumped into him the week prior and chit chatted about my move. He was kind enough to leave a hand cart waiting for me outside of my new apartment on moving day and even offered to help me move!Would definitely recommend to others :D
The staff are very nice and helpful! Cute apartment, fun pool and tennis area. Free bottled water and coffee/tea is available during business hours. Great, quiet place to live. Everything has been great so far!
Me and my wife have been here 8 months now and we love it!-Nice neighborhood-Beautiful environment-Really nice pool!-Management is very friendly and helpful with any problems-Maintenance is really helpful and friendly too-Pet friendly!I have nothing to complain about.
Everyone here, the office staff, and the maintenance guys are always friendly and professional. Josh is usually the one that does any repairs at my home and hes just great; courteous and respectful of my time. He always does a good job, whatever I ask him to do.
Where to begin... Let me start by saying I am a divorced single father, so the price of these crap apartments was a big selling point. AKA they are at least cheaper than nice apartments, but not in the worst neighborhoods. And like some of the other comments, living there was fine. The maintenance staff was great, hands down. But the office management was horrible, on numerous occasions I had to resend/notify them of simple things, like my phone number change, email, and other simple personal info changes. The office always smelt like dog urine, the gym was very minimal, and the pool was very very under kept! Finally when it came time to move on, I gave my 30 days notice, and then when I tried to verify my move out date three weeks later, they lost my paper work, so I was forced to pay another month’s rent, because my 30 days started over. It has now been a month since I have moved out, and I called to inquire on where my deposit return notification letter was, and the status of my deposit, and the lady in the office said it was mailed, to the wrong forwarding address, again I let them know my forwarding address at least three times, and verified it was correct on the day of my final out inspection. Now, because of their lack of basic office skills, my deposit is postponed another three to four weeks, and she wouldn’t even tell me what I was expected to get back?!All and all I have to say, do not move in there unless its your absolute last resort, there are much better ran complexes in the Vacaville community!
The Sandpiper Village apartments are well-maintained. They are in a good location.
Awesome service technicians. they didnt hesitate to help me jump my car :)
Nice apartments, lived on the second floor. Not new, but not too old either.Parking was in front of the suite, which is always convenient. The area is reasonably quiet considering there is a large school nearby.Vacaville is a nice little town with low crime and congestion, except the I-80.Always do a final inspection with the management to avoid surprises prior to leaving, especially if your going through another party (company) for rent.
Great staff!! 10 out of 10! Wonderful service and a beautiful community.
SUPERB IN EVERY WAY!!!OWNERS, YOU are extremely blessed to have an Amazing Team in all the levels of your organization. THEY HAVE HEART, 💕PASSION, & DEDICATION!!! The two beautiful kindred-spirited ladies that not only have beauty beyond, they are the mind, heart and soul of the village. Ms Rose manages with wisdom & intelligence, like Joshua, continued Moses quest in Bible who brought the people into the promised Land; Ms Jessica with exceptional skills and witts like Ruth who stayed devoted n humbly giving of herself to please; Mr Rudy, his expertise n specialty in all skills, who like Christ, came as a humble carpenter, confirmed the saying that the greatest is he who serves; and another dear friend Mr. Jose who touches every tenant needing help to repair whats needed with laughter n sincerity that holds all things together. A Family-Friendly Oriented atmosphere with a website to keep everyone inform least to mention our grands favorite ...the pool!!!🌈Thank you!!!
This is Sara and Mohammad. We just moved out because we bought a house. The staff behaving professional and friendly giving you feeling that you are part of sandpiper village family, not just a tenant. Maintenance staff are awesome specially the hespanic guy that unfortunately forget his name. Rent is really reasonable comparing to other complexs.I enjoyed living in sand piper village.I was calling that place home when I was living there
These apartments were by far the BEST 😍 I’ve ever stayed in!!! All the front office staff, maintenance, and residents had been sooo nice and understanding! I CANT BELEIVE THEY HAVE VIP TRASH and ONLINE RENT PAYMENT! I wish I could’ve lived there longer. Seriously 😳 this place rocks. PERIOD. Even when i was having a bad day and I got an attitude with them, they reacted professionally! IM COMING BACK lol 😂
I wish We could stay more years in this apartment, we stay here one year we feel safe and it was wonderful you get what you payed for but it’s worth the price, nice place with nice people around, the staff is so friendly and helpful we have small issues but that’s fine it’s not their fault, the visitors is, the pool are well maintained the small space gym is good as well very quite place to live in highly recommended.
I recently moved to Cali because of my job and after looking around I found Sandpiper Village’s apartments on a whim. The main thing that got me interested was the price. I had gone to some less than favorable apartments, with the exception of one, Sycamore Apartments in which some coworkers lived in. Most of these were in the same price range minus the good one I named. The downside was the price was a little more than I planned to spend, but after the quality and lack of availability at the other places, it looked like the only viable option and decided to check a few more over the next few days before settling on Sycamore’s. Then, as we were driving around Vacaville, I pulled this place up on google because it was second to last on the list and decided to give it a shot. When we went there, the staff were very welcoming and we talked about the rooms available. I had gone with the mindset that at the price range it would be the same quality as the less favorable ones, but when we were shown the two bedroom option available, I was instantly impressed. It was nice and spacious and the appliances included are new and the bathrooms were nice too. It didn’t feel cheap or look like a motel. The only downside to me was that I have to either buy and install, or use onsite washer/dryers, because 1) it’s kind of expensive and 2) I don’t really like to use W/D that are available to many people as usually they’re in rough shape. But even then, I decided to tough it out and use the onsite ones, and I wasn’t let down. Good clean machines, albeit a little costly, but it’s not the end of the world. All in all, I ended up saving about 200 bucks a month as opposed to the one I planned to rent. Big shout out to Rosie! She was a huge help and definitely made the process much less intimidating! (First time I’ve lived on my own! Woo!)
As a young man I rented a place from them. I loved the floor plan of the apartment. We rented a two bedroom apartment, because we were supposed to have a roommate join us in a couple of months. He bailed out and the apartment was more than we could afford alone. So we broke the lease and moved out rather than face eviction. We turned in the keys and moved out. Now I know we were not right for breaking our lease. But I was a young kid back then and made a mistake.Flash forward 11 years. Would you believe theyve hired lawyers, got a judgement against me for three times what they claimed we owed, and are now trying to garnish my wifes wages. And get this, I tried to call their lawyers to make good on the debt. Like I said, I was a kid then and made a mistake. They told me I either pay the full $4,000 or they would move forward with wage garnishments. I live pay check to pay check and cant just shell out 4,000 bucks.Fortunately the courts ruled they couldnt garnish her wages twice now. But now they are trying for a third time.I am not saying I am innocent here, I did break the lease and there was fee for that. But what apartment complex hires lawyers. From what I understand most just write it off as a bad debt for a tax break at the end of the year. And not only do they hire lawyers but they hire ones so oblivious to the common man that they think they would have $4000 lying around.I dont think people should move here. Not because of what they do to you when you live there, but because of what they do when you leave. Ive heard others talk about $500 charges for damaged blinds. And other such outrageous charges. Maybe if you plan to live there for the rest of your life youd be okay. But once you move out be prepared to pay out your nose or deal with it for years and years to come.
I moved out at the end of July. I couldnt be happier to leave.I was charged $200 to steam clean the carpets after I had already steam cleaned them myself. I was also charged a $165 cleaning fee for the apartment that the management couldnt or wouldnt explain what exactly was cleaned. Initially, they referred me to call the cleaning service, which I did. The cleaning service refused to talk to me since they dont have a contract with me personally. When I went back to Sandpiper asking for a detailed invoice of what was cleaned, I was sent a scanned invoice that simply stated apartment 2x1 cleaned: $165. No explanation of what was cleaned.I was also charged $150 to have a bleach stain in the carpet patched. Ill agree that the stain was there, but how in the hell does it cost more steam clean the carpet than to patch it? Aside from the one stain, the carpets were already clean.About halfway through our lease, the complex started a trash valet service. This service allowed you to place your trash in a provided can right outside your door and they would empty it for you. The catch was that you had to bring the can back inside by 8 am the next morning. Our apartment was literally next to the dumpster, so this didnt make sense for us to use this service. And since our apartment was only 850 square feet, I didnt want their can in our apartment if I wasnt going to be using it. The management refused to take the can back despite how absurd it was for us to have and despite the fact that we never requested it. When I began leaving the can outside in protest, they left threatening notes on my door stating that they would fine me $25 for not taking the can inside. I had to point out to the manager that the can was not part of my original lease and therefore any fines would be a violation of my lease.I am convinced that the nickle and diming that happened on my closing inspection was retaliation for telling them No regarding the trash can.As for the apartment itself, the price is high for the size of the apartment. The only offset to that is that they do allow pets. There is a very nice dog park in the complex. We lived on the ground floor and could hear our upstairs neighbors every move. The sound insulation between floors is non-existent.One night, a parked car (not mine) rolled out of its parking space and blocked the main part of the parking lot. I sat out there for 2 hours waiting for someone to show up to remove the car. I had to call the maintenance and security team several times since it was after hours. I just didnt want someone to crash into the car as they were driving through the lot in the dark. People drive like they think they are race drivers through there a lot. Even with kids and pets around. The security guard locks up the gym every night at about 10 pm, so no late night workouts. He will kick you out if you are in there when he shows up to lock it.Do not stay here.
Hi,me and my famly were just move in, in sandpiper apt.almost two months now and i notice since dayOne that the staff from the office and the workers are very polite and helpfull, particularly Ruddy Egger whoAssist me twiced . I just approached him told him the problem and he fixed it right away.I am retired now and been in the military for more than 30 years and i can tell you that the people who works here are doingOutstanding job. For the owners and manager of this people, congratulation for having such good people.M.Del Rosario
The size of the living area is nice, thats the only positive. Kitchen is tiny! And our unit is very outdated because we couldnt afford a renovated unit. My real beef is with the rules of the Community & the fact that the maintenance people dont follow them. 1 of the maintenance guys lives below me. Him & his wife smoke. The do not follow the law about staying away from the building. Tonight, the wife was smoking on the sidewalk right under my open window. Ive complained about this before & theyve retaliated against me ever since. They also smoke pot inside their apartment & the smell seeps into my apartment via the electrical outlets. Management does nothing about this! Im allergic to cigarette smoke & I hate the smell. Also, our mail room has been broken into twice. Weve had things stolen & so far have not been apologized to or have been offered compensation. If I wasnt stuck in a lease, Id of been gone long ago!
