I had never been here before until tonight I called and they said they could get me in right away. I had the $50 pedicure and let me just say OH MY GOSH!!!! It was worth every dime. It was so relaxing and my nails they look amazing ( they are my REAL NAILS) Lena and Ben ( the owners) did my nails and they will sit there and have a full conversation with you. You don’t feel rushed or like you are just a number. I will definitely be returning to this place. I have found my mail home. Thank you!!! I went with a wedding party to urban nails. I had a great time. The owners sister did my nails and the brides. She was great, very personable and friendly. We were party of a dry wedding, but they had glasses of wine for you to enjoy while youre being pampered. My nails also look amazing! I never get my nails done but Im now in love and will definitely go back again. Ill also add a video of my nails. Theyre gorgeous!

Called in for a last minute tips/dip manicure. They said they could immediately get me in, I stated I wanted to do something 4th of July themed for Independence Day coming up. At first we were just gonna do an ombré of the blue and white, and she painted my pinky fully first to see if I liked the color combo and etc. which I totally appreciated, then she asked if I wanted a little red sparkle in the white, she then said she could show me on my pinky again to see if I liked it or not which to me was very nice and very much appreciated, I loved what she did! I wish I would have gotten her name but I definitely will be back, it was a great experience! I put a picture of whatmy nails turned out to look like! I love them! ♥️

Urban Nails is a fabulous place to get top notch service in a beautiful, bright, and clean setting! Myself, my husband, & his 94 year old Mom were all pampered with a Deluxe pedicure. (Warm towels & stones. Lots of lotion & massage. Perfect pedicure) Lena & Ben, the owners, are wonderful. They really took care of us. We added a manicure for my husbands Mom!! She felt like a Queen! We all left with smiles on. I highly recommend! Grab a friend and spoil yourself! You DESERVE it!!!!!!

I got the Urban pedicure from Lena today. This was my first time getting a pedicure in over a decade and now I plan to come back regularly. I cant believe what Ive been missing out on! She was so nice and fun to talk to, and also did a great job on my feet!

I called this mirnibg for a last minute appointment for 3 pedicures and was able to get in! By far the BEST pedicure Ive ever had. Im on my feet 12 hours a day as nurse so my feet were pretty battered and sore. Highly sanitary, professional and AMAZING pedicure with Ben.The calf massage almost put me to sleep. My feet are callous free and dont look tired and embarrassing

Went to Urban Nails for the first time Wednesday January 13th. I took with me my 2 daughters age 9 and 5 and we had an amazing experience. We got our nails done by the owners Lina and Ben. They were super helpful and hospitable. Lina checked with me on point and length of my one daughters nails and Ben did the same for my other daughter. They said my 5 year old was their youngest customer and commented on how good she was. My girls and I are in love with our nails and cant wait to go back. My birthday was the day before and Lina gave me a a bottle of lotion as a gift. She seems to really know how to treat her customers ❤. Our experience was a 12/10 🤩🥳.

I really don’t see why this place is so highly reviewed. I made an appointment for 5pm and showed up at 4:55. I was told they’re very busy and asked to come back or wait would be 20 minutes. I decided to wait because I wouldn’t have the time to come back. I was getting a simple acrylic manicure and the man that did them kept missing spots and leaving open gaps on my nails. He also almost cut the top of my finger when he was trimming the sides, if I wouldn’t have jumped he would have cut me. By the time we got done I had been there for over an hour. I get in the car to notice that a few of my nails are lopsided and bubbly looking. I ended up paying $37.10 for a bad manicure. I definitely won’t be going to this place again.

Urban Nails & Spa was excellent. Lena was great and personable. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She was a wonderful hostess and did a great job on my pedicure. I will be switching to her permanently moving forward! Urban Nails was great!

Lena and all the ladies at Urban Nails are so great! They made sure I had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience while getting my nails done. They were all very talkative and pleasant. The salon itself is very clean. They were reasonably priced and my nails look awesome! I would highly recommend!

Thursday I got my nails done. I got acrylic dip and the next day two of them came off and ripped of most of my nail. I asked for a refund and she only gave me part of my money back. To pay $45 and have it come off the next day is so irritating and to only get $22 back is not good. I would not recommend this place.

This was my first time visiting this salon and my experience was pretty awesome! One of the owners did my pedicure and the massage was great and they took their time. I also got tips and dip done on my fingernails which look fantastic as the nail tech was super thorough and paid close attention to detail. Definitely coming back!

My first time here was fabulous but my second appointment was very disappointing. 5/10 fingers were cut and bled, the dip doesnt go to the edge of my nails, and you can see spots where its thin. I almost went to ask for my money back, but I will not be returning.

My acrylic nails are falling off the day after I got them done and today one came off and took half my real nail its pretty bad....they suggested I get pink with French tip and it looks terrible. They were very nice and helpful...I am going to call and maybe they will make it right. Update: I messaged them and she was so understanding and helpful! They are going to do my nails in a few weeks! She did everything she could to make it right! Great customer service!

I first came here with a friend to try it out. It was a lovely experience, very welcoming, good work. I continued to go monthly but each time has been declining. They always seem overbooked, the station wasnt even cleaned from the last person, and it felt rushed. I even started calling ahead to make appointments to make sure it was a convenient time. I absolutely understand trying to serve every client that walks in but it shows in the quality and the experience. Slightly disappointed but understanding.

Lena and Ben did an amazing job fixing my daughters nails that had a bad nail dip from another nail salon. They both worked on her nails until they were done right and gave her a beautiful shellac manicure after. Very friendly staff, clean, and do amazing manicures. They also give students a $5.00 discount so that is always a plus! We found our new nail salon in Urbandale!

I came all the way from Iowa Falls, and got a diping powder manicure. I found them by accident but Im glad I did. They stayed open 30 minutes longer to give me a great manicure. Super nice staff too. Will definitely visit again!

I followed Lena (the owner) from another salon where she previously worked. While there was nothing wrong with the other salon, Lena really makes the experience worth it at Urban Nails. I left before the guy finished. I went in for a fill and new shellac. It took him 45 mins to remove the old shellac and start the fill. When he did file the nails were crooked, there was discoloration on the acrylic that instead of removing he just added more acrylic on top of. Very slow, non personable, and low quality work. I came here in a pinch because I broke a nail and my regular place is in Ankeny. I wasnt going to let them finish and will never go back.

Everything is new, clean, and beautifully designed in the salon.Lena (the owner) and her husband Ben are fantastic. They are always very friendly and provide excellent customer service. Ben does great with my nails. Ive been to them for gel mani and a regular pedi. Every time turns out great, and he has no problem doing what I ask when it comes to cut/shape/color. I love Urban Nails!
